a video from jump_henshubu on Twitter shows us what the change cards are! they’re lenticular cards depicting Reborn, Tsuna, Kyoya, Mukuro, Chuuta and Ron! the KHR ones show their TYL/adult selves and Tsuna’s HYDWM, Chuuta shows him grown up and Ron’s shows him styles differently!! why the Mukuro artwork is old and not the newest volume cover artwork like Tsuna, or birthday artwork like Kyoya’s, who knows lol. I’m assuming they’re just lenticular collecting cards to do with Amano’s interview which celebrates KHR’s 20th anniversary and Amano as a mangaka; which drops April 30th! 🎉

RonToto investigating a home burglary but the victims are a married couple with 3 three daughters. Toto gets roped into princess tea time with them somehow, and all that runs through Ron’s head while staring at the beautiful sight that is Toto in a tiara and numerous beaded necklaces is “Gonna clear my name. Gonna make it through this. Gonna build a home with that man right there.” All before he can even deduce WHY seeing this level of wholesome and familial domesticity from his (work) partner makes him soooo damn happy

Synopsis of Episode 6, “The Case of the Live Broadcast Murder”

Ron is obsessed with TV programs that verify the presence or absence of psychic powers. In the live broadcast program, the psychic Dankichi Torage and the neurosurgeon Dr. Usaki Mofu were facing each other. Torage shows off his psychic ability to manipulate the brain with the letters written on the board, but as soon as the contestant sees the word “death” on the board, he suddenly collapses…

Oh hell yea a good detective show? Sign me up. After undead girl ended I needed more of this on a weekly basis. Kinda feels like a less over the top balance unlimited with the dynamic between Toto and Ron

Killing people because you didn’t do your DD properly with your portfolio is crazy 💀 this is why you don’t invest money you can’t afford to lose and you set stop losses. Should’ve never got down that bad off the stock market. Now you’re going to prison and STILL broke, dumbass.

I like the gimmick with Ron’s ability to make people off themselves. A 100 percent solved rate and a 0 percent arrested rate is hilarious. He and Toto are going to make a perfect team since Toto will make sure these perps face justice, the proper way.

Funny first episode with some really good animation. As with all detective mystery shows the key is going to be making sure the cases remain fun and engaging. Let’s see what they got cooked up.

Union Square Garden OP as well, takes me back to FGO Babylonia.

Just watched the first episode of Ron Kamonohashi’s Forbidden Deductions and it certainly was something. My guy has the Code Geass but exclusively for telling you to kill yourself, adjlfnbdafk-

#dee p thoughts #ron kamonohashi’s forbidden deductions #my feelings about it so far is inconclusive it certainly is interesting and wacky #my thing is that it may become very schticky but the deduction in the first episode was pretty unique at least in terms of Ive never seen a #crime use this environment before and it had an explanation Ive never seen before lol #I do think its laughable to tell the criminal that hes devalueing peoples lives as The Sole Reason for badness when. the victims have been #rich people. but the again they didnt get that deep and I dont they think wouldve considered they made the criminals motivations comically #villianous about money and not having guilt lol. very firmly establishing ''We're not going to talk about wealth inequality lol.'' but then #just kind of offputting to then have the guy saying that tell the man to kill himself so. like. I mean there can be a mentality/logic to #that but was just said we're not gonna get deep about that. and then the suibaiting thing is like an illness or something-#honestly this is something I should either drop or press on knowing its garbage we'll give it a few episodes to see what it does adlnfbladk
