High & Low Couple Headcanons

Todoroki,Shibaman and Tsuji

-Overprotective as fuck

-patching up after fights comes with extra scolding about don´t get yourself hurt unspoken: don´t make me worry like that

-Todoroki trying to pretend not to be totally fond of Shibaman and Tsuji´s typical little behaviors that everyone has that would piss others off but not your loved ones cause they´re used to it

-Todoroki smiles.A lot more.

-He also loves it when Shibaman and Tsuji get a Ichigo Milk scolding

-When they´re not at Oya they´re usually at Shibaman´s since his sister isn´t home a lot

-They all met his sister though and Todoroki is her favorite

-and he loves it there,it´s a lot more home-y than his own

Yasushi and Shidaken

-they´re normally at Shidaken´s since he lives alone

-horror movie nights even tho Shidaken´s doesn´t necessarily like them and nearly vomits sometimes

-gross food and candy combinations,also dare each other to eat it

-sneaking around thinking they´re good at keeping it a secret

-teasing like crazy

-any romantic couple things,yeah matching brain damadge

-lovingly insult each other

-kicking each others ass on occasion

-Shidaken loves when Yasushi goes crazy on some random thugs

-Shidaken bickering constantly with Kiyoshi

-always eat takeout,they tried to cook once.The pan caught fire and they started fighting and screaming,not knowing what the fuck to do.If odajima wouldn´t have come by that day,the flat would´ve burned down.Dumbasses still fighting while being open flame grilled

-Yasushi probably drowns in Shidakens clothes so he hits him with the sweater paws,always when he least expects it.

-he met Shidaken´s mother,she thinks Yasushi´s a total sweetheart -You can behave?Yeah you can go eat me.Maybe later.Yasushi violently choking on nothing.

-Murayama shamelessly flirting with Cobra and freezing like a deer in the headlights when Cobra flirts back

-shovel talk by Yamato and Noboru get´s interrupted by Naomi who scares the shit out of Murayama

You didn’t specify so I’ll HC for her meeting him pre-Citadel AND meeting him with the Batch!

Buckle up because this is a long one lol!

Pre-Citadel meeting:

ARC Troopers often deploy independently of the legions and companies on highly sensitive missions. However, ARC Troopers need medics too. Which is how Avery ends with the chaos Domino Twins.

The moment our boys meet her they put on the charm, dropping “mesh’la” and “ner saraad” and “cyar’ika” at every opportunity. She’s rolling her eyes but flattered. However when they start briefing her on the mission and Echo reveals just how skilled a tactician he is and how exceptionally intelligent he is well… ✨competency kink activated✨

In the two to three standard rotations it takes for them to arrive at their destination, Avery finds herself drawn more and more to Echo. Sideways glances are shared, she’s giggling at his jokes, and she’s standing just a little closer to him all the time. And she, like the rest of us, thinks the kamas and paldrons are sexy af.

And Echo and Fives obviously notice. Echo amps up that cool charm and Fives is encouraging it in the most obvious fashion that he can because they’re men, not just numbers and Fives will ensure his vod is happy

The mission goes almost perfectly. Until they encounter some unexpected B2s and Echo is hurt. It is then that he discovers he too, has a competency kink. Avery skillfully patches him up once safely aboard the ship en route to base. Echo is impressed at how capable she is and how effectively she heals him using the force. He also enjoys being so close to her as she fusses over him.

During a wound check and dressing change he makes his move. As she’s running her usual battery of tests he cups the back of her neck, bringing her in for a chaste kiss. She’s caught entirely off guard and it takes a few seconds for her to process what’s happening but once she does it evolves into a full on make out session.

Fives walks in on them and asks Echo which reg manual taught him that. Echo throws a glove at him.

Avery and Echo have secret rendezvous every time they are both on Coruscant and she does her best to be assigned to any missions Echo is sent on.

Unfortunately she was stationed on a hospital frigate when he and Fives were sent to the Citadel.

Fives gives her the news. She’s furious with Anakin for leaving his body which unintentionally reveals their relationship.

Anakin is the one who contacts her about Skako Minor. “Rex thinks Echo is still alive. We are taking a small team to try and find him.” She’s there. He didn’t even ask her to come. But she’s there.

The moment she lays eyes on him she’s rushing to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and sobbing. Rex is peeved because now he has another secret relationship he has to hide. Anakin is happy he’s not the only Jedi banging someone. The Batch don’t really care because when do they ever follow orders?

They resume their relationship as before until Order 66. Avery escapes and hides out in Ord Mantell knowing Echo will get the Batch there eventually. Then they join Rex, save everybody and nothing bad ever happens to them again 👉🏻👈🏻

If they met post O66

Avery would have joined Chuchi in her efforts to fight for clone rights

Which is how she’d meet Rex and become part of his secret network

She’s the contact the Batch have to meet in an extraction of more of their brothers.

During the course of the mission, she and Echo get separated from the rest of the Batch. While in hiding waiting for their pick up they bond over their shares passions (freedom fighting and fucking over the Empire mostly.) He’s touched by her story about Aay’han and respects how much she cares for and has sacrificed for the safety of his brothers. She finds him charming and funny under his grumpy exterior. They spend the cold night cuddling for warmth (ahhh such a delicious trope). And by morning they’ve started making googoo eyes at each other.

When Echo finally joins Rex, the two of them become the dynamic duo power couple of clone freedom fighting!

Oof!! You put me in a spot. I had to search for this deep in my WIPs folder. I've not written much fluff lately. if you haven't noticed, I've been fixated on whump for a while, which there's a bit of it here too, but it's a stolen comfort moment during the hurt. This is from The Betrothal, another AU where Order 66 never happens (that might or might not be connected to the above series, just many years later). Anyway… it's Kalluzeb, this time.

Kallus lets fall his stoic indifference from his expression as he frames Garazeb’s face with his hands. “Are you okay? Where are you hurt?” “Was goin' t'ask ya the same thing,” Garazeb says, trying to lift the hem of Kallus’ tunic. Kallus dismisses Garazeb’s concern. “I’m fine. They patched me up.” Kallus shows him the bacta patch on his side. He doesn’t say that it’s a little tender, sending sharp pangs when he twists in the wrong way. Yet, it’s on the mend, and it won’t bother him anymore by tonight. Garazeb stretches his fingers as much as he can with his hands bound as they are, grazing the green-and-yellow bruise around the wound. It’s the gentlest of touches, raising goosebumps over his skin. Kallus closes his eyes; the memory of the nights they have shared, Garazeb’s ravenous touch, comes to the forefront of his mind.

hey! i want LORE on your hippie ghouls (really loved their designs, they're so different and recognisable). are they some kind of a community? and what are relationships between them?

Totally! There are some more ghouls, humans, and mutants to come in the future, as well! Judt gotta do some more design work haha

I've also been planning to post lore, I just wanted to get some drawings to post with them for ✨️ flavor ✨️, but since you asked, I can share some!

Warning: this will be very rambly and I'm doing it on mobile at 1 am 🤡

The community they're from has existed since years before the war, starting as a hippie house by Lake Arcadia on Route 66 (I wanted to use some landmarks, again, for ✨️ flavor ✨️. Such as Pops, even though it was built after the 50-70's, it's got such a vibe. Info on how the bombs affected the state will come later on with different lore posts. This will include wildlife, weather patterns, factions/gangs etc...)

Most of the ghouls in the house, which name keeps changing every couple minutes because I can't settle on one... for now let's just call it Rainbow Garden because I Do Not Know. Lmao. The house was settled in by Jolene and Kenny who are de facto leaders of the community, though Jolene takes charge mostly. Even before the bombs dropped, Jolene was organizing protests and planning events, always ready to protect her family from cops and 'vigilantes' that might want to harm them. She's the kind to "be kind and love others but take no bullshit". Kenny is more laid back in comparison. The two are partners, though there will be more on them and their relationship later.

Folks that lived at the house prior to the bombs included them, a yet-to-be-seen ghoul named Gray Swan and her family, Russ, and (technically) Dezi. Dezi had been away for a couple years for a protest when the bombs dropped. They're a very lucky person is what I'll tell ya, now 💀. She made it back to the house, thankfully. Betty also lived there in a van she had parked in the house's driveway. She ran out of gas while visiting and just stayed. (I have more ghouls to design who did not live in the house, and any ghoul or person is also welcome to move in lol!)

Now (in latest game time, I suppose), humans have moved in, as has a super mutant named Melon and his son. Melon and his son ARE designed, but I gotta design the humans. I have so many characters to design for this and other projects fr lmao

In brief:

Jolene is a tough yet kind leader. She is open to change and open to anyone who has a good heart. She is vain and cares about her appearance-- and her wigs-- just about as much as she does her family.

Kenny is a laid-back fella. He lets Jolene take the lead and is perfectly comfortable in it. He is a very unqualified doctor, but has learned a lot in his years of patching folks up after protests. He will fight for what he's passionate about.

Dezi is a bit of a nut, in the best way. They're insanely passionate, if you can't tell by them leaving for YEARS to engage in a very crazy protest (loosely based off real events). They were devastated after the bombs dropped and, despite higher education, seems to having a growing interest in science.

Russ is a bit of a loner, doesn't talk to folks too much, but is a very bright artist who makes gifts for those he cares about. He always liked to give back to the community and, now that there isn't much left, occasionally leaves the house to do graffiti in nearby towns.

Betty was hit hard by radiation, and her glowing nature pushes her to being very careful ever since humans have moved into their community. It's hard for her, as she was a very bubbly young lady. She, like many in the community, were devastated by the change in her voice. Singing was one of her favorite things, after all.

They spend the next hour in relative silence except for Harry pointing out when he sees baby animals in the fields which isn’t annoying at all. “Baby,” he says pointing at a lamb, then, “Baby,” at a pony running with two other horses and then, “Baby, baby, baby,” when they come across three calves standing next to their parents in some of the taller grass. “Oh my god,” Louis says at the next patch of horses, “Look at all of those adults. Adult, adult, adult.” He has nowhere to hide when Harry reaches over to flick the side of his face, though he does try to swat at him in defense. “Oh, baby,” Harry says a moment later and Louis groans. He looks around anyway because he does enjoy seeing tiny animals. Both sides of the highway are deserted. “Where?” He asks. Harry looks over, “Oh, sorry.” He shifts his hips in his seat and glances back toward the road, “I was having a moment.” Louis shakes his head and then tries to hide his smile in his arm as he goes back to looking out the window.

The rocky coast east of Malaga gave way to terraced, covered agriculture which gave way to open field agriculture and then back to covered nearing Alicante. The only break from this monotony was the route north from Almería, away from the coast, crossing a desert plateau and passing "Texas Hollywood" and a Route 66 diner. 

I paid for a campsite at the beach before Almería. Taking a bypass road around a tunnel, I ended up at the campground entrance by chance. It was dark but I enjoyed the sunrise the next morning. As with most campgrounds along the way, caravans of retirees. There was a cafe offering a set menu for dinner and a .5 liter of cold beer.

I passed a greenhouse just as a crew had finished clearing a crop, vegetation piled neatly in the center isle. The last man closed the door behind him, finished for the day. A bus load of itinerate laborers in reflective aprons harvested and bagged cabbage, urgently working a line that crossed the plot. Brassica, lettuce, artichoke in the fields; fruit trees, pepper, tomato, cucumber in the grow houses.  The plastic coverings tattered and patched, soon in the ocean. Aside from urban gardens, I don't recall passing any polyculture farms or gardens along the way. Just the desolation of monoculture. Business pursuits, nobody's vocation.  

When I arrived, I was unimpressed by Alicante. I found a corner bar, drank two Amstel while my phone charged and waited to check in to an Airbnb. What at first felt like a dumpy resort city revealed itself to be very casual and hospitable. The locals, from my memory, are all middle aged, all smoke and wear a sincere half smile. Walking around town that evening, I happened upon a small but energetic subversive lit and coffee shop where I had a slice of vegan chocolate carrot cake. No tent to pitch and fully committed to resting, I bought a cheap bottle of Enrique Mendoza Alicante wine and watched Heartbreak Kid on YouTube. Next day, left town full from an awful meal at a popular home cooking diner, really lovely people and place though!

1. cult of route 66. people actively worship the road and signs. other roads are just roads, route 66 connects people Spiritually. its a full on religion the legion has tried time and time again to destroy

2. town of escaped female slaves/sex workers/female refugees. with how horrible the legion is, these women have made their own highly militarized settlement. trying to approach in legion armor and you will be attacked on sight. you can get in as a woman if you patch a speech check, otherwise you will have a bomb collar until you prove yourself a la brotherhood. but more understandable in this case

3. PHX is discussed but never visited. it’s was particularly destroyed by the bombs and all the water dried up without the infrastructure to get more there. 

4. i think sedona would be so fun. the red rocks, berries around, several vaults to explore as it was a particularly popular place for the wealthy to pick. a weirdly peaceful place in the wasteland. even if there is a pair of talking deathclaws in the small settlement in the mountainside. 

5. drug made from datura. extremely toxic and hard to manufacture, but there can be a lot of caps to be made if you can supply the seeds to chemists. tough moral choice on whether or not you want to destroy the operation or make your journey in the very tough, desolate arizona territory easier. 

6. i am tempted to have an abandoned ski lodge on the san francisco peaks but i think going up there at all is unethical so prob not. i can slap it elsewhere 

7. flagstaff was a large hub of The Cult Of 66 but the legion took it over ruthlessly. it is still a sizeable legion city and base, but they are low on supplies give most are out by the dam. you get to see the effects of them starting to spread themselves too thin just like the NCR. because when you enslave women and kill everyone who isnt good for fighting and then go on conquests over and over you start to just leave everything else behind in rubble. people have begun to slowly question caesar’s rule but theyre afraid to voice it. he says this is the best for the wasteland, but is it? how are they going to have a long term society when most of the men are off being killed and most of their women are so abused and overworked they cant carry to term? their population will die out.

i like trains as much as the next dweeb (and as an aggressive inner-city bike commuter, i place hexes upon cars daily) but i feel like a lot of the 'cars suck trains good' posts on this website sort of blank on the infrastructure required for trains, especially in urban areas. like i agree it's the best option and worth investing in but you need to acknowledge the time/money it takes to maintain tracks and the road around them. the fucked-up patch i had my worst crash on is still there two years later because it's at a major intersection with a complicated trolley track crossover and the city is waiting until it completely dissolves before it shuts that area down for a half a year. like, i can see why people are working on self-driving cars, bc the barriers to rail are high in a way a startup can't clear. it's a stupid idea but i get why someone would get stuck on it.

(trackless trolleys are great, I grew up near the 66's route in lower NE Philly, the sounds they make!! delightful. but they come off the track all the time. it's not a plug-and-play option and it doesn't have the like romance associated w it for people to start championing its redesign. it's not a very Tumblr solution lmao)

First car: “I can’t take this kind of pressure. I must confess one more dusty road would be just a raod too long.” He’s the car of an old workingman who had a long life of service. The car was worn down from year after year after year of driving a long commute on a dusty road. The engine and air filters gave out one day when the road was way too long and hard. He represents the work exhausted, those who can't handle the pressures of work and life.

Second car: “I just can’t, I just can’t, I just can’t seem to get started. Don’t have the heart to live in the fast lane. All that is passed and gone.” I would assume that this was the car of a female in either college or high school. She wasn't driven much before she conked out while her new owner was driving on the freeway. Given how she mimicked a failed starting engine for her first line, chances are it was a serious problem with the electrical system. This car represents the depressed. Life speeds past these people, because they can't get started.

Third car: “I come from Kasi, Missouri. I got my kicks out on Route 66, every truck stop from Butte to MO. Motown to Old Alabama. From Texarkana and east of Savannah From Tampa to old Kokomo.” His owner was a definite drifter and rode all around the states, especially on every stop you can think of on Route 66. He was driven hard and fast until his axiles busted. He probably rode on a very rough patch of road and was structurally damaged. This car represents the drifters, who drift along without any point, never rooting down. But, he clearly has an appreciation and zest for life. As he is on the conveyor belt, he is seen turning his wheel in a vein attempt to get off of the belt. He can’t turn, because he is old and beat up.

Fourth Car: “I once ran the Indy 500. I must confess I'm impressed how I did and I wonder how close that I came. Now I get a sinking sensation. I was the top of the line, out of sight; out of mind so much for fortune and fame.” This oldie was a top of the line race car and genuine contender for the Indianapolis 500 during his last run. He likely lost control when his wheels failed (note his missing wheels on one side). He skid out of control. I'd say he managed to avoid crashing and killing the driver. The car was deemed a failure by whoever built him and he was mothballed. This car represents the has-beens who were once famous or important, but have been tossed aside.

Fifth and Sixth related. The fifth car says “Once took a Texan to a wedding, once took a Texan to a wedding. He kept forgetting, his loneliness letting his thoughts turn to home and we turned.” The sixth car said “I took a man to a graveyard. I beg your pardon, it's quite hard enough just living with the stuff I have learned.” After the fifth car is placed on the conveyor belt, the sixth car is placed on top of the fifth car and the two are crushed together. That was probably to represent the fact that the two drove the same man. The Texan probably died while driving the fifth car and the sixth car was likely a funeral hearse which drove the Texan’s dead body to the funeral.

Fifth Car: This limo was taking a Texan man to his best friends wedding wedding. The mention of lonliness gives me the impression that the Texan likely was not the groom. This guy was forgetting something due to feeling lonely. I get the vibe that he was showing up for a friend's wedding, and just couldn't take the feeling that he was still single and alone while his friend was happy with a new wife. He forgot about his obligation out of pain, and demanded to be turned around. This car represents the uncommitted, who are unable to commit to their relationships or love. Based on how dented the limo was, I would assume that the Texan died while riding in the limo. Which leads to...

Sixth Car: The last line of the fifth car felt unfinished. Regardless, the Hearse was there to take the Texan to his funeral, but got into his own accident on the way. It's hard to see but you can see serious dents and a busted headlight in his front. I think he might have gotten stuck in another accident on the way to the funeral, and he saw that the coffin he was carrying was filled with a dead man when it accidentally burst open. He learned that death touched humans too, and he couldn't live with this knowledge.

Seventh car: “Once drove a surfer to Sunset, there were bikinis and buns, there were weenies. Fellini just couldn't forget. Pico, let's go up to Zuma, Pico, let's go up to Zuma. From Zuma to Yuma the rumor was I had a hand in the lay of the land. Get up and go hit the highway.” This one was owned by a college male. This guy was very likely laid back dude who liked surfin and goofing around with his friend Pico. The car had dings and dents from a few fender benders, but her master treated her well and took her everywhere. He was likely a campus legend, but she remembers him as the master who shredded waves from Zuma Beach to kayaking on the Colorado at Yuma. Based on the clearly bitten surf board, I am guessing that the master was eaten by a shark. His mourning family scrapped the car with the surf board. This car represents the traumatized, people who suffer from mental illness or trauma and are unable to cope.

Eight car: “I worked on a reservation. Who would believe they would love me and leave On a bus back to old Santa Fe? Once in an Indian Nation. I took the kids on the skids where the Hopi was happy 'til I heard 'em say... The rest of the things in the junk yard say: "You're worthless."

This car worked on what was likely the Hopi and Tewa reservation as an impromptu bus for the community. He was likely used frequently by one family in particular, who used him to take their kids out of the place and for long haul goods carting. He grew to love that family, in particular the kids. He was a tough and reliable old truck with at least some more time in him left, but his heart broke when that family chose to ditch him and leave the reservation. He took them out to the skids, thinking he was just taking the kids out there to play like usual. They then got on a long bus to Santa Fe, and called the reservation and himself by extension worthless. He couldn't take this rejection and essentially refused to work out of depression. There was this one detail that is very easy to miss if you do not pay attention. I probably would not have noticed it if people on the internet had not pointed it out. As the magnet waves over this car, the truck drives off screan and is seen parked on the conveyor belt in the next scene. He was about to die, but chose to go out on his own terms, because the last thing that he would want to do is give the crane the satisfaction of knowing that he (the crane) is what sent him (the car) to his death. His musical number that he sings to achive a catharsis before his death is just as sad as that of the rest of the cars, but for a different reason. For the rest of the cars, they were sad, because they weren’t ready to die and they all tried in vein to resist it. This one was actually capable of resisting it, but he didn’t. His story was depressing in a “I am so sick of life” kind of way. This car represents the elderly, who were loved by their families, but age has made them worthless.

All of these cars represent a collective experience of the way depression affects the mind. Each one has a story and even achievements. Each one has a life: but despite any of it, they are 'worthless'. The crusher is a symbol for death and suicide. The conveyor belt a symbol of struggle. All vehicles (aside form the last) attempt to resist it. This means that each car represents different levels of depression, from mild to severe. And each is handicapt so that it cannot escape the crusher. This is what depression actually does to a healthy mind. The knowledge of being loved and having some sense of worth disappears, you become drained of energy, and you become blinded to the truth of your own value. You stop bathing, sometimes even 'getting started' on anything. Left untreated, and especially if the sufferer finds confirmation, the feeling of being worthless ends in suicide.
