Garcella poked her head out of the building she hid in.

It was horrifying. She was watching a man with armor and a sword fight the equivalent of a wild animal. He lunged at him with claws out, taking swipes at the red clad warrior. War, however, kept just out of his clawed reach.

It was like he wasn't even trying to fight.

Andy roared, swinging again...

...only to be met with a slash from War's sword.

Blue fluid leaked from his cheek as he turned to face the Horseman.

"You son of a bitch!"

"Then come get me, Believable Bulk!"

As he got to his feet, War tossed his sword aside, running in with his hands curled into fists, pounding them into his stomach in a barrage.

"USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS USELESS!" Each punch was a stun for the towering Andy, with him barely able to utter a word. He was completely stopped as War wound up a final blow. "USELESS!"

The last punch was much stronger, pushing him off his feet and into one of the abandoned buildings. Garcella jumped, leaning more out the doorway. "Andy!"

The dust cleared and the monster was replaced with the man she knew all these years. He was on his hands and knees, the blue fluid he intook ejecting itself.

"Ugh.... I... I ain't out...." Then his head went back down, heaving out more of the strange fluid.

"You are. It is time I get another monster off the streets." War picked his sword back up, walking to land the finishing blow...

"Ey, ty! Vy ukhodite ot cheloveka!"

The armored person turned in time to get a foot to the chest. The figure was hard to see in the smoky field, but it was clear that this person was in a dress and actually able to go toe-to-toe with War.

"Fuck! Lucy's tramp found me! This ain't over!"

The sound of a sword clanging on asphalt was followed by heavy bootsteps fleeing. Garcella ducked back into the building, hands to her chest and eyes wide.

"Zhenshchina. You need hospital for friend, da?"

Her blood ran cold. She saw her. Even if she was asking such an innocent question, she saw what the woman was capable of.

She finally looked out the doorway again, finally able to see the woman.

"I repeat. You need hospital for friend, da?"

Rufina is an orphan living in Ursha, who was found after her village was destroyed and she took shelter with Lufan, Cosmette and Mica.

Rufina is much smaller than most, and due to the fact that her human heritage has prevented her from growing antlers, like most elklin do, she’s greatly upset by it and feels weak in comparison to others.

Although she’s small, she has a big attitude, and is often making snippy remarks to others. She likes to feel confident in her words and mind if she can’t feel confident in her body.

A special talent Rufina loves to do, is to dance. Rufina has been dancing ballet in Ursha for years, and is quite talented and well known for it. She even incorporates her ballet routines into her shadow warrior training

Rufina feels jealousy towards Prince Ezra due to how many attributes of his mixed heritage he has

Is known as the “Little Red Star” by fans of her dance

Despite being quite well known, Ursha isn’t doing well by means of places to live, so Rufina still lives at the orphanage

Story time - yes, it's trek - related! 🦎🦎🦎

Last year, the crappiest year of my life after 2016, I made a new friend. Rufina. Honestly, she's amazing. She's everything I could ever dream of when it comes to a friend. Even when we barely knew each other, she was there for me every time I needed her, and I didn't even have to ask. She's honestly adorable. She's witty, funny, a lovely Aquarius. (I'm a lovely Sagittarius for astrological reference.)

The problem is... she had no idea about Star Trek! In fact, early in our friendship, she asked me, 'So, what's that Star Trek about?' 😂 She literally knew NOTHING. I was shocked that she was so clueless.

So, how should I start talking about it? If you know me even a little (and I bet you can see my icon), I started talking to her about Baby Spock. I poured my heart out to her and she literally didn't even blink. She was unamused. LOL. She 'cuted' me (just made a word) for being in love with him, but she wasn't interested in watching anything trek.

Months passed, and we became so much closer, but her indifference to our precious star trek was always there.

So, a couple of months ago, when my mental health finally came back to normal and brain started functioning even better than before, I talked to her about Janeway. I should have done that earlier.

NOW SHE WAS INTERESTED. Now we could talk. A female captain leading the show? Being such a badass? Saying lines like 'there is coffee in that nebula'? 'OMG, she sounds amazing.' She loved her. And she loved the idea of watching Voyager some day.

More time passed, and the other day, I was like, 'It has to happen'. I told her, are you in the mood to do some Voyager? It's about time.

She thought we'd watch 'Caretaker'. MUHAHHAHAhahahfhahhah.

We watched 'Threshold'. She's a very strong person. I knew she could handle it.

We went through it. She managed. Her bravery made me tear up. She didn't comment anything while watching. She didn't make any question. She was absorbed into the screen.

After the episode ended, she told me that 'Star Trek is really something after all' and that she's in the mood for some pizza pepperoni. She also wondered what episode we should do next.

She'd passed the test.

Oh, Rufina. You can't imagine how much we've bonded now.

"The first three days of the protests were marked by massive arrests and unprecedented levels of state-sponsored violence. The testimonies of those released from jails include accounts of minors and seniors being arrested, overcrowded jail cells, the use of torture, blood-stained floors, and a lack of food, water, and medical aid. Released medical protocols include accounts of rape and organ damage. Testimonies published in the independent Belarusian and russian media report that certain warders imitated nazi concentration camp practices by releasing gas into the jail cells and police transportation vehicles, assigning numbers to prisoners, and marking those due for extra-violent beatings with yellow paint and those who had already been tortured with red. The audio recording leaked by BY_POL (initiative organized by former police who are against Lukashenko's regime) in early January 2021 confirms the regime’s plans to create concentration camps for the protesters. Observers have reported one such camp was built near the town of Ivatsevichy in the Brest region. As of the end of 2020, the Viasna Human Rights Center has documented more than 1000 testimonies of torture victims. Their analysis suggests that acts of torture were widespread, systemic, and well organized as a politically motivated punitive operation perpetrated by the authorities to intimidate the Belarusian public. By December 2020, more than 33,000 people had been arrested since the beginning of the protests. According to Viasna Human Rights Organization, as of today, there are more than 530 persons who are considered political prisoners and remain in jail."
