Not one word was said about their beloved russia currently committing a genocide in Ukraine. They only care about it being more powerful and ruthless

For anyone who thinks that Russians aren’t doing anything to overthrow the war criminal, Vladimir Putin.
This is not the only act of resistance against Putin’s illegal war in Ukraine, and it will not be the last. We just don’t get to hear about these acts of resistance thanks to Putin’s maniacal control over Russian media, his blackmail, his prison sentences, his murders... and our regrettable habit of listening to Putin and his garbage media propaganda more frequently than we listen to Russian dissidents.
I have full confidence that Ukraine will be free. And Ukrainian freedom will spell the end of Vladimir Putin’s dictatorship in Russia, just as the Ukrainian referendum in 1991 spelled the end of the Soviet Union that Putin loves so much.

Wanna know why neighboring countries won't take any russian "refugees"? Because their liberalism is a scam! Navalnyi famously agreed with Crimean occupation and called Ukrainians in derogatory terms. Chodorkovsky asked to relieve sanctions as they "hurt regular russians". Finally, Maxim Kac - russian "liberal" and anti-putinist said this:
Tumblr media
Translation: "russian opposition owes nothing to no one, especially ukrainians".
They don't feel bad about the war or crimes committed against Ukrainians.
They don't feel that genocide committed against Ukraine in their name is anything to apologize for.
These people - Navalnyi or Maxim Kac - upon taking power in russia would not change russian imperialism and hatred towards Ukraine or ethnic minorities in russia AT ALL.
Maxim Kac also calls for Baltic countries and others to take in russian draft-dodgers. Even though Baltic countries currently exceeding their capacity in helping Ukraine. But I guess they have to make space for russians who don't owe anyone even basic decency.
Fuck that whole country.

You ask me, why is russian opposition so stupid, coward and useless? Because ot consists of this kind of idiots. Look at what they wrote under a tweet about delivery service workers going on strikes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Screen 1:
"> they want more money
> wage size has noting to do about it.
Here is a little history note for you: in the second half on XIX century the majority of workers agreed for jobs without threats or violence. But they had to work 12-14 hours a day without paid sick days and pensions. Do you still think this isn't exploitation?"
"Yes, it's not."
Screen 2:
"So I assume you don't and have never worked in the delivery service. While I currently do. And I'm fucking tired of explaining that people agree for the most awfull jobs simply because they need a place to live and something to eat. It doesn't mean that they're satisfied by the working conditions."
"Ofcourse working conditions are like hell. I'd also be unsatisfied with them. But that has nothing to do with exploitation. Why do you put the responsibility for working conditions on the employer?"
And then they simply move to Georgia or Kazakhstan and continue their life as before. They don't have time for anti-war protests because they're busy opening their bars, clubs and cafes and organizing kink and sex parties.
Оятсызлар. Тфү.

Илья Яшин интервью из колонии: о Навальном и России
Alexey said that if he was killed, it would mean that opponents of the regime are stronger than ever, but now there is just the opposite feeling - the regime is stable and strong. Was Navalny wrong? I don’t think that the arrest and murder of the opposition leader is a sign of the strength of the political regime. Just like Putin’s “competition” with nameless extras in the elections is not a sign of his strength and popularity. Just like arresting people for anti-war likes is not a sign of a high level of support for the war in society. Popular power does not need repression, political assassinations and intimidation of dissent. She is calm and confident. He doesn’t jail his critics, doesn’t beat up protesters, and wins fair, truly competitive elections.  It seems to me that opponents of the Putin regime represent a much more powerful and formidable force than they themselves realize. Power in Russia has been usurped by a criminal group that skillfully manipulates public opinion. Almost every opposition supporter feels oppressive loneliness. He is sure that we are a minority, and Putin’s hordes are around. In fact, there are a lot of supporters of change. It's just that Evil is much better organized.
Journalist Shura Burtin  wrote this in a column for Meduza  : we all underestimated the evil, that the opposition in exile is weak and helpless, and everyone has to save themselves one by one. Do you not share this pessimism?  Listen, in a barracks under strict detention conditions, I don’t allow myself to despair. And someone sits in safety and comfort, deliberately spreading the bacillus of despondency in the atmosphere. For what? To paralyze the will of the protesters? So that everyone's hands finally give up? Will this make you feel better? Well, God is your judge.  Yes, Evil is aggressive and merciless, it is advancing. But we need not to cover our heads with ashes, but to find ways to resist this Evil by uniting, showing solidarity and helping each other. I have been in prison for almost two years, but I do not feel helpless, lonely or despondent. I see how many people speak the same language with me, share my values, and write me letters with words of support. And in response, in every court appearance, in every text, in every interview, I try to inspire people, motivating them by personal example to resist tyranny.
How should the Russian opposition act without Alexei Navalny? The opposition must grow up and finally get rid of the “ superior-subordinate ” mentality . We are constantly trying to drive everyone into one vertical structure, where the commander gives instructions, tells everyone what to do, and the rest meekly run to carry out. But our real strength lies in horizontal connections, self-organization, collective action and solidarity. Russia is now experiencing one of the most dramatic periods in its modern history. It's time for the opposition to put aside old squabbles and grievances in order to show itself as a responsible force. It is necessary to win the trust of compatriots by consistently defending their interests, both before Putin and before the world community. It is necessary to provide a strong and attractive alternative to tyranny, namely , the image of a free, peaceful and prosperous Russia, where the state does not grind its citizens, but creates conditions for their happy life. And most importantly , you must demonstrate the ability to make this dream a reality.

The spirit can't be hindered by four walls
Memory can't be covered with cold earth
Since there are no sources of light,
It means that this light will fill everything with itself
And its rays are reflected in us —
thanks to them, we are visible to each other.
Coming out of the darkness is painful for the eyes
But there is no option not to come out of it.
26.03.2024
40 days since the death of Alexei Navalny, a Russian hero.
Listen to this song and watch this video, please. It's heartbreaking.
Tumblr media
I can't help but use this account, including to express my political beliefs, not only my interests and funny stuff.
Unfortunately, the Russian government commits many crimes. For the third year now, it has been waging a criminal war against Ukraine. For 25 years now, my country has been ruled by a bloody dictator. He has the blood of hundreds of oppositionists and just free people who were not afraid to tell the truth on his hands. On February 16, 2024, this dictator killed Alexei Navalny. I tried to translate the song that was created by his team in his memory, but it sounds much better in Russian.
You could have been told that Alexei died in prison. But it's not true. He didn't "die". He was poisoned, tortured and then killed. Hundreds or even thousands more people are now in Russian prisons simply for disagreeing with the dictatorship.
You can write "save Ukraine" on the sheet of paper — they will find you and put you in jail. You can say: "stop the war". They will say: "you're a terrorist". You can be gay, trans, bisexual, etc — they will say: "you're an extremist and you're dangerous for children". You can put flowers on the grave of the murdered opposition leader or at the memorial in memory of the victims of political repression — the police will take you to the police station for... I do not know why. Nobody knows. They'll just take you away. Because that's what the dictator wants.
Look at these pictures. I made them today. There were a lot of people, crying and singing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't know how in other religions, but in Orthodoxy, 40 days from the day of death is considered the day when the soul chooses between Heaven and Hell and finally leaves the earthly world. My family is Orthodox, Alexei was Orthodox. That's why I came to the graveyard today, to visit his grave and to say goodbye. I was born when the dictator had already seized power, went to school with him, went to university with him. Growing up, I realized that my country was never a free country. There is no democracy in Russia. No human rights. No freedom. No safety. No freedom of speech. I want people from other countries to know that, because that's not what your media will tell about Russian people.
And, please, remember Alexei Navalny. He fought for all for us. He was the real president of Russia and will remain in our hearts forever.
