14, 30 and 5 (askin game)
14: One apple it was very good.
30: Slightly difficult to answer this one since the only person who I actually knew AND has left my life I also held no real attachment to. He was my brother but also I think we talked like maybe 20 times total, and now he lives in the mountains. So I guess that's my answer.
5: He's one guy but he has also been consistently making songs that I enjoy, as opposed to other artists who do have a few songs or an album that I like, but make less good songs other times, so for consistency: Brian David Gilbert.

we have been mutuals for quite a while and cant really find a chance to ask, but are ya trans?
yea im trans. but the question is... which mutual is you? I don't know if I can use the "for a while" part to identify since I think all my mutuals have been that way for at least 2 months. I'm pretty sure I've never seen Elle use "ya" in place of "you" so probably not her. other than her, russianchoir is the only one to have interacted with any of my posts today, but he spam reblogged a "reblog to make the breasts of the person you reblogged from bigger" post, so based off of that I'm guessing he already knows I'm trans. therefore, you must be bayonet! so yeah im transgender.

(from that one ask game)
0: 6 feet, or 183 cm
6: one time someone heard my voice online and thought I was 26 so I guess that
11: she just cannot stop watching youtube shorts but it's okay because she's otherwize funny.
20: I can sound like Darth Vader with very little effort
21: I'm pretty good at internalizing lessons. That or everyone I work with is really bad at internalizing lessons but as I am the exception I will assume I am above average.
Thank you for the ask, russianchoir!

I have been on a huge Russian Orthodox choral music kick recently. The depth and beauty of these choirs, amazes me. In particular, I love the oktavists (men who sing basso profundo), who maintain a consistent bass throughout.

"Единородный Сыне" (муз. иеромонаха Нафанаила)
Can any Russian speakers translate what this means? Either way, I enjoyed this work and will continue my exploration of Russian choral music throughout the centuries. The unique style of Eastern Chant, which probably began with a Jewish influence (listen to cantillation in the synagogue) has enthralled me for years, particularly in how Russian choral music does not require an orchestral accompaniment. And so you get these wonderfully rich movements of four-part harmony (and before that, the fourths and fifths from Eastern Orthodox Chants), often with the added thrill of oktavism.

I would be grateful for a translation of this title into English, if anyone knows the language (is this in Church Slavonic?).
