A COLLECTION OF MELUS! So Melu's my SelfMOC, one of them anyways. He's a Le-Matoran who becomes a Toa. A while back I decided to do designs of what Melu would look like in different Matoran and Toa Builds, and decided recently to update them.

I'm really happy with how all of these came out looking, especially the Hordika and Mistika builds for the Toa, and the Mahri and Shadow Matoran builds for the Matoran.

Here's the originals if you wanted to see them. I didn't have the AV-Matoran, Shadow Matoran, Phantoka, or Mistika builds with them tho. Some of them really only changed in terms of color. Originally I made them trying to stick to the OG Melu's color scheme and placement, but when I went back and updated them I decided to try and emulate the original color aesthetics of the builds they're based on.

Behold, my newest moc. I guess id kinda also consider her something of a selfmoc too but not sure, anyways last night i spent like 9 hours fucking about in the lego bin until 6 in the morning and came about with this thing after finishing up a different build. They shouldve totally done a mermaid for the toa mahri honestly that wouldve been sick

And heres one with her being held up by one of my much larger mocs, which i have named behemoth

Kinda shocked theyre able to stand like that but i guess its a testament to how i built him 3 years ago

Nocturn The Rotting

My entry for the Duckbricks Red Star Fannon Contest

Nocturn is a menace on the red star. Due to his unique regeneration and experiments done on him by the Kestora, he is a walking monstrosity of rotting and growing flesh. at any given point parts of him are falling off in disrepair and rot as others are regrowing more powerful than ever. Able to swap between standing tall on his hind legs, or using his front arms as a second set of legs he is very versatile and a very tough opponent.

Unfortunately those are the only 2 renders I was able to make of him due to my computer running on a hamster wheel, but I did make a prototype of him irl, though it is not as impressive as I didn't have all the parts. on the upside, the irl copy does have his spines and some creepy hoses (that I would have preferred in red, but gotta make due with what I had)

As you can see, his jaw was supposed to be on lopsided, but due to restrictions of Stud.io and the fact that the build might not work for Nocturn's actual head, I dunno if it'll work...

Reclusive witch of the Pallid Coast, Kiora carries on the research of her late adoptive father, Donovan the Arcanist, who sought to understand the peculiar Paletide and the transient apparitions from which manifest. Kiora, who too was carried into this world on the silver waters, did not fade with the passing of the full Moon as had the specters before her.

With the rise of the Nightmare plague, the Paletide now stirs in unsettling motions, the blood-red Moon casting sinister shadows within the waves. Perturbed by this omen, Kiora’s gaze turned to the city of Somnum from which the Nightmare was born.

Moonlit Glaive

This finely crafted polearm was forged by Donovan the Arcanist, who possessed many talents. He taught Kiora how to wield a blade at a young age.

The crystals imbedded in the blade were shed from Kiora in adolescence and can channel the arcane. As such, this glaive additionally serves as an excellent catalyst.

Ah I had forgotten that I once made a custom canister for an older version of myself moc. I even made a custom poster. The biggest problem with something like this is the model on the canister was outdated really quickly. I would update it again but I fear my selfmoc will never be done.
