Saw you say you'd do art reqs on twt so Ive come to suggest Rigg, Eric and Kerry because I think it'd be super cool and they're the best friends ever
Here ya go! They're all just alive and well and having fun together, exactly like in canon! I also added Daniel as requested by a certain detective on twt. Thanks for the prompt, Casper!

I saw this on the Facebook Avengers page. I'm not sure whether it's behind the scenes, or colourised from the episode. Either way, it's a perfect illustration of how one must gaze platonically at one's co-worker.

oh man, hitters having hearing damage is pretty much inevitable, isn't it
like I've slipped morse code into a few fics partly because I think it can be genuinely useful (the "whispers are always conveniently quiet enough not to get heard" thing works well for television, less well in more realistic scenarios) and partly just because I think that sort of in-joke/shared code is cute
but the real cuteness is looking up enough sign language to get started with and start incorporating it into your day-to-day routines and conversations now, before it's truly needed, even if your hitter gets grumpy when he realises it's for him.
(and again, in more realistic scenarios, a recognisable sign language is a good way to communicate silently when lip-reading is iffy at best.)

Now look, Diana, I cannot handle this level of perfection, and I feel like you know that.

I might be a little delusional, but somehow I am convinced that Hoffman didn't necessarily want to get rid of his department. The idea of him working with these people for so long and sacrificing them for the fame and the juicy promotion doesn't sit right with me.
I believe we all agree that Rigg's test was some sort of recruitment. And Eric was just a victim of many bad circumstances, but the most evident example for me is actually Kerry, so, hot take: I believe Hoffman didn't want her dead.
Okay, hear me out:
1) The Angel Trap wasn't designed to permanently mutilate Kerry. Sure, she would have scars from acid, but compared to some other trap conditions it's definitely not the worst one? And yeah, the design was probably done by John, but Mark could have given him an insight on Kerry and her need of "their services" (even though I don't think that Hoffman believes in all this rehabilitation stuff, but that's a topic for the whole other post) and, perhaps, even suggest using The Angel.
2) And that leads me to the fact that Mark knew Kerry quite well and he would know with like 99% certainty that she would win her game. And, well, she did win. However...
3) Yeah, the trap was rigged but in Saw III we are made to believe it was all Amanda's doing. Of course, Hoffman kidnapped Kerry and put her in the trap, but there is a chance that he didn't know it was rigged.
4) Also, Hoffman knew how long Kerry had been working on Jigsaw's case, how much she knew about it and how well she understood his philosophy. He also knew that John didn't have a lot of time. And he also wouldn't like to work with Amanda after John's death (and I am pretty sure he didn't know about Lawrence and Logan existing), so... How about recruiting Kerry after her game? That's a reach, I know, but, once again, Hoffman could believe that Kerry would really get not only John, but Mark. Like, him going after Seth Baxter and serving his own justice. And they could go down this vigilante path together (and maybe even take Rigg along).
Sure, that's just a delusional theory, but, damn, I like thinking of Hoffman as that really deep character, you know?

i’m obsessed w qiana jacobs. she’s a gamer. she’s a lesbian. she’s a special ops agent for a highly secretive military organization. she is sixteen years old. she has one (1) friend. her dad is frozen in a cryotube. her adoptive mom was a psychopath. she is incredibly strong despite being a scrawny teenager. she drinks an orange soda with every meal. she has probably killed someone at least one. she’s an excellent marksman. she never went to high school. she hates her boss so fucking much. she sent her bald boss a wig for his birthday. she is fully aware that her boss killed an innocent man and is investigating the motive. illegal espionage is kinda her thing. her one friend has one (1) other friend and she hates him.
love her

With apologies for the blurry quality (I'm not tech savvy enough to clean pictures up). I found this on Pinterest and realised it was a still from How to Succeed at Murder, that I hadn't seen before; I remember the scene in the episode but, I don't know if we see this particular pose, so it could be a rehearsal shot / behind the scenes. Anyway, I love the fact they couldn't get any closer if they tried. These are two people very, very comfortable in each other's personal space.
