Missy drove for what seemed like a life time. In reality...maybe it was just over an hour. The ache in her heart was fighting with the rage of how everything just went from bad to worse. Being an afterthought to everyone who meant the most to her to being ignored to being seen as nothing more than a brat for wanting to be involved as well as know the truth. 

No one cared. 

If they looked it would probably be because her dad needed his truck, not because she was gone. 

She packed light, and took all of her allowance money and whatever she managed to save up from her time at the comic book store. 

The first night, she parked somewhere and rested. The next morning she woke up feeling empty with her face itchy from the dried up tears. If she weren’t so numb she’d be more scared by her choice. But now she had to live with it. 

Despite the growl of her stomach reminding her she hasn’t eaten in a while, the first thing she did find a pawn shop and pawned the cross necklace her mother gave her. It added more money and continued to solidify the fact that she was now gone. 

But now what? 

She drove around until the truck needed to be refueled. After that she drove some more until she ended up at a church. Not her old church but a different one. 

She didn’t go inside...she didn’t feel welcomed. But it felt familiar enough to calm her as she thought what to do next. So she sat on a nearby bench and tried not to feel or think.

3. Are there any particular aus or plots that you’d really like to write?

~Amnesia or arranged marriage AU's are my current jam. As for plots, I am a sucker for fluff within ships or angst in other areas. Fluff in ships is like our muses taking baths, face masks, playing video games, soft kisses, all the things! Angst can be toxic relationships, my oc's in pain, etc etc.

5. What is the most difficult thing about writing your current muse?

~Her unwillingness to cooperate. Most of the time shes easy to handle and responses come naturally but other times, its like yanking an animal off a surface after their claws dig into it. Thats why I randomly disappear and reappear since it can happen within hours where responses become difficult to complete.

7. Who was the very first muse you ever wrote?

~Rockelle! Shes been my one and only muse. She was very different back then, being a neko, witch, and a vampire and functioning more like Marceline from Adventure Time with her abilities. She even had wings! It was toned down after awhile in fear of being wayyy too powerful.

Gwen helped Penny bring the last of the boxes up to their new apartment. The elevator in the building they were moving into was apparently not in function, so they had to carry everything up themselves.

“Couldn’t your brother help us with some of this stuff,” Gwen panted, “isn’t that what you got big bro’s for?”

“Usually, maybe,” Penny answered. “But he’s probably lying high in his trailer instead.”

“Oh well,” Gwen muttered. “Hoes before bros anyway.”

She dropped the last box with a loud bang onto the floor, wincing a little. “Umm, I hope that wasn’t one of the fragile ones,” she said, looking sheepishly up at Penny, but Penny wasn’t looking at her, she was glancing over Gwen’s shoulder.

Gwen turned her head and saw two guys standing in the hallway outside the door just opposite her and Penny’s.

“Oh, hello!” Penny smiled.

“Hi,” the shorter one with glasses said, and the taller one with the flash t-shirt quickly echoed it “Hi.”

“Hello, we’re new to the building,” Gwen said, moving up to them, and thought she heard the shorter one make a funny sound, so she turned to the taller guy instead, holding out her hand. “I’m Gwen and this is my cousin Penny. We just moved here from Nebraska.”

What type of character WONT you rp as?

For Munday, anonymously ask the mun something you want to know about them, their portrayal, or what they will/won’t write.

((Oops! This one must have come in right as I was logging off yesterday. :P

Anyway, I try to steer clear of controversial characters, such as heavy negative stereotypes, n*zis/n*zi sympathizers, characters who specialize in excessively lewd/crude humor, and characters known for extreme violence. That’s not to say that some of these archetypes can’t be utilized in ways that enrich a story (note that I say some; don’t twist my words to paint me as #problematic), but they’re just generally not my cup of tea.

For some characters, especially my villains, I’m cool with murder, horrible scientific experiments, mind games, a bit of light torture, and the like. But the context in which these things happen is important, and I prefer to have strong narrative reasons for why they’re happening as opposed to just “because they’re evil lol”. 

Additionally, a bit of Fantasy Racism can occasionally add flavor, but I prefer that it be used sparingly and not become something that feels like a trivialization– or worse, a glorification– of actual racism that people face today. For instance, Commander Nebula notoriously doesn’t like robots. It’s addressed multiple times, and over the course of the show, he’s proven to be both 1) in the wrong and 2) slowly learning to put aside his prejudices. There’s growth there, and whenever a joke is made about it, it’s at the Commander’s expense.

Also, hypersexual characters just don’t do it for me. I’m all for a bit of sexiness or the occasional dick joke, but when that’s a character’s main personality trait or driving behavior, it just falls flat. I like a little more substance, and a little less potential lawsuit material.

The same thing goes for toilet humor characters. I never found them funny as a kid, and I still don’t find them funny now. (I will, however, make an exception for Captain Underpants. It’s hard to explain, but there’s a sort of tongue-in-cheek, wink-at-the-camera quality to it that adds a bit of charm.)

N*zis are kind of the quintessential bad guys for a lot of classic superheroes and video game characters, and that’s pretty much the only context I find acceptable. If they’re not being punched in the face by Captain America or gunned down by B.J. Blazkowicz, they have no place on this blog.

This is a TERF/LGBT-phobe free zone. Even if some of my characters hold prejudices, none of them (not even villains) will ever look down on someone for their gender identity or sexual orientation, nor will they ever use slurs. (For the record, I don’t consider queer a slur, and often use it to describe myself when I’m too tired or pressed for time to explain all my business. If that bothers you, you’re welcome to unfollow; no hard feelings. Also, aro/ace people are LGBT and you can fight me. Pedos/MAPs/clover gender/ kindergender or whatever they’re calling themselves now are not LGBT, and you can fight me on that as well.)

As a general rule, I prefer to punch up, not down. I once read somewhere that the difference between gallows humor and being a shithead is whether the joke is made by the person at the gallows or a person in the crowd.

(As an aside, these also apply to the kinds of characters I won’t RP with as well.)

Some examples include, but are not limited to: literally any Seth McFarlane character, Saw style villains, particularly “gritty” portrayals of The Joker, Sheldon Cooper (or anyone from Big Bang Theory, really), etc.

I hope this gives you guys a good idea of my sensibilities, because I spent about an hour on it lol.))
