Summmary: Hanzo was demand by his father to make a deal with a new clan called Yamato, but he didn't expected that you would make everything turn upside down that night.

*Sitting alone in a bar table drinking a glass of whiskey, Hanzo was preparing to meet some other organization that night and he must try to make some deals with them, in the name of Shimada clan. He felt his phone vibrate and check the message of Shimoto, a Hanzo "assistence" that went to get the other clan; it was a photo in a car with some girls*
They're taking some pretty ladies, sir! Just warning, maybe you should find a bride tonight as your father demanded!
*Hanzo only sighs rolling his eyes, don't even took a look at the women in the photo. He look at the pool table watching some young boys playing with his girlfriends. That feeling was nonexistent for him; Love. He look away from the group watching Shimoto approaching him*
Hanzo - That was fast...
Shimoto - Hey, sir! They got some nice women there! You should try something *he smiles*
Hanzo - I'm here to make deals, not find a women. This is business, Shimoto.
Shimoto - *sighs* Yes, sir. Oh! Here are they!
*Hanzo met the Yamato clan, powerful but young. Behind the men of Yamato, a group of four ladies accompany them*

Yamato - Every clan leader needs your girl, Hanzo. *he laughs* You can choose one later. Hey, let's play some pool and talk about business! Drink is on me!
*Hanzo sighs impatiently, he is a business man, serious, trained to follow Sojiro steps! That was just a playboy party for him*
*At the pool table, ready to make the shot, he felt a feeling that someone was looking at him...he felt a,.. connection. He look up and saw you glancing at him, gave him a smirk making him lost the focus on the ball*
Yamato- *notice and sighs* Come on, Shimada, we don't have all night.
Hanzo- Hmm... *He takes the shot and gets up taking a deep breath* Whatever...I don't play pool. Shouldn't we talk about business?
Yamato- Right... *He light up a cigarette* Business. Your father agreed to 50/50 between the clans after every mission.
Hanzo- 50/50? He wouldn't accept that. You're lying, Yamato. *He look at you again, something was calling him and he lost focus again*
Yamato- Hanzo? Hey! *He clap his hands in front of his face*
Hanzo- I'm...I'm sorry. What did you said?
Yamato- *Looks at you and Hanzo* I think you like my girl...
Hanzo- Your girl? *He looked again to you, now confused. He laughed* No no, is a misunderstanding.
Yamato- I hope it is, she's my favorite. *He smiles blowing the cigarette smoke* Such a naughty and at the same time, so submissive.
Hanzo- *He sighs feeling uncomfortable* Is she...a girlfriend?
Yamato- No! *He laughs* I don't have time and feelings to have a girlfriend. I'm a sociopath, it would be good. Is kind of a...slave.
*Hanzo's heart stopped for a second after hearing that, he looked at you that now was trying to move away from others guys at the bar*
Hanzo- If you were so uncomfortable with me looking at her, why you don't do the same there? *He point with his head*
Yamato-*Looks and chuckle* I don't have problems with civilians flirting with her...is only you. You're intimidating and richer, I don't like someone better than me with my girl.
*Yamato didn't hear a reply from Hanzo and when he take a look, he wasn't there anymore. The Shimada approaches the group of men trying to force you to drink something, but you were resisting pretty well*
You- Fuck off, bastard! Take this fucking drink out of my face.
Man - Aww baby, don't be angry, I'm trying to be nice and bought you a drink.
You- And I didn't asked for a drink with drugs on it, idiot.
Man- Whaaat? *he laughs* You're crazy.
You- Oooh you don't know me... you don't want to see me really crazy.
Man- If you accept the drink, I may wanna see it.
Hanzo- Hey *He appears behind the man* It looks like you're creating some troubles.
Man- Look, "hero"! I don't...! *When he looked back, he got scared by his size* Holy mother...Are you a MMA fighter?
Hanzo- I'm better than that. *He picked the man by the clothes* Drink that.
Man- ...! What?
Hanzo- Drink. That. *He look at the drink he was offering you*
Man- Why?
Hanzo- I got a gun...drink it.
Man- Look! I'm sorry if this was your woman, I...! *Hanzo take a colt out of his belt and show it putting the gun in front of his face* Oh lord...! What the fuck?!
Hanzo- Drink it...
*The man immediately drink it everything in seconds, Hanzo smiles satisfied. He put the man away and look at you*
Hanzo- You're ok?
You- *Surprised* I didn't knew that I nedeed a mafia hero until you came *smiles*
Hanzo- I'm not a mafia... lady. *He chuckles and behind you, Yamato shows up grabbing you by the waist pulling into him*
You- *gasp* Hey...!
Yamato- Is me, honeyboo... *He keep eye on Hanzo* I think my colleague likes you. But you're mine, right?
You- Yamato, don't started...! *You felt his hand squeezing hard your skin*

*Yamato was jealous of Hanzo. Jealous of his family historical, money, beauty, everything. He hated men that are popular than him. Yamato drag you with him and push you against the pool table*
Yamato- Why you don't play for me, baby? If you get a ball in the hole, I'll give a stunning night when we get home. *He give you the pool bat and lie you down on the table in a erotic way* Stay still and let me teach you, honey.
*Hanzo looked away feeling a hot feeling coming inside of him. How could a man treat a woman like that ...?!*
*Yamato starts to scrub his intimate against your ass, making you feel disgusting and annoyed*

*immediately Yamato pull you up and turning you around giving a slap on your face. Hanzo widen his eyes now feeling the furious feeling a burning inside of him, his breath gets faster*
Yamato- I told you to shut up, slut...! Did you hear me?!
You- *You didn't answer and spit on his face* Fucking bastard...!
Yamato- *He laughs, annoyed, while cleaning the spit on his face* Yeah, I told him you're a naughty...but you're crossing the line tonight, bitch.
*He grab you by the neck and immediately Hanzo pull out his gun pointing to Yamato*
Hanzo- Stop. Let her go. *He speak in a cold rough voice*
Yamato- A gun? Against me, Shimada? *He squeeze you more making you gasp, Hanzo put the finger on the trigger* Gonna shot me?
Hanzo- If I need. Release her! *Raise his voice and the whole bar stand quiet and scared*
Yamato- Your father will not like that, Hanzo. *he laughs* Put the gun down, ok? I'll deal with MY business.
Hanzo- I'll not put the gun down until you give me the girl!
Shimoto- Sir...! Put the gun down! Your father wouldn't be so glad in killing a business partner!
Hanzo- I did not accept his offer! He's trying to manipulate.
Yamato- *Pull the gun too, a revolver, pointing to Hanzo* How can you know that, Shimada?
Hanzo- I'm a man of business, I know when a man is lying! And anyway... you just said you're a sociopath. Not a good one, I suppose.
Yamato- *laughs* I not scared of you, Hanzo...
Hanzo- And I'm not scared in put a bullet in your head.
Yamato- Sojiro won't-
Hanzo- This is my problem. My business. My father. You shut up and give me the girl.
*Yamato laughs again and point the gun to your head still holding you neck, now squeezing tight again. You started to shake and cry, bagging for Hanzo to kill him*
Hanzo- Put. The gun. Down. *He approaches slowly* It dosen't worthy.
Yamato- It does for me. *He loaded and the bar starts to get in panic after a woman starts to run* Stop! Silence! *He shoot at the ceiling making everyone go to the ground* Nobody fucking move! *Put the gun back to you* Give 50/50 of the business and I'll let her free.
Hanzo- This isn't business anymore, Yamato... this is murder. *He look at you for a moment* She don't deserve that.
Yamato- No? *laughs* Do I care? She's my sex slave, you don't have nothin- *Hanzo shot on his feet* ARG...! FUCK! *He let you go and fall back* Fuck!
*The bar get in panic again, not the barman, he was used with those mafia things, even the police could do nothing. Hanzo holds you that violently coughed going to his back, Hanzo continue to point the gun to Yamato on the ground*
Hanzo- Go away... Or this time I shoot you on the face.
Yamato- Gonna kill me?! Uh?! KILL ME!
Hanzo- No, I won't give you the death you wish...I'll make you pay.
Yamato- For a fucking woman?!
Hanzo- For a respected woman. Shimoto, get the car. The reunion is over.
*Shimoto immediately run from the bar and a few seconds later, he come back with a scared face and a gun pointed to his forehead*
Shimoto- S-sir...?!
Hanzo- What...?! *He look at the other members of Yamato clan coming in* Shimoto!
Shimoto- I forgot that I bring the others...! I'm sorry!
Yamato- There's my little brother and cousins...*He laughed pointed the gun to Hanzo* Surrender, Shimada.
Hanzo- *He hold you hand* Lady... go outside, please, take the others girls.
You- No way I'm taking those bitches with me...
Hanzo- *sighs* Fine...but go.
Yamato- She's not going anywhere! *he screamed pointed the gun to you* She's going back with me! Take her! GO!
*the others approaches you and Hanzo in a fast move shoot in each leg of the members, you took advantage to run away to the back of the bar and Yamato tried to shoot you. Then, the bar starts to run away, a mess. Hanzo knock over a table sitting behind it to protection, while the shoot starts. Shimoto hide with the barman calling out for other members of Shimada*
Shimoto- RIGHT NOW! WE NEED BACKUPS! *he grab his gun starting to shoot too*
*Hanzo got shoot on te right arm, but nothing makes him stop. It take long minutes to Shimada clan come to help him out and when the arrives, arrived shooting. When Hanzo Gets up, he saw Yamato running and limping to the back of the bar, where you ran away*
Hanzo- Fuck...! *He go after him*
*On the back, you tried to find any gun but nothing, you wanted to help the Shimada man, he saved you and you know that Yamato would hunt you there, he's obsessive with you. The only thing you could find in a good knife on the kitchen, that was the moment when Yamato reach you and points the revolver while holding himself against the wall*
Yamato- You bitch...! Where you think you're going?!
You- I won't go back with you! You sick bastard! *You throw the knife at him in panic, but...mistakes* Go away! *He shot close to your feet and you scream and cry out afraid* Don't...kill me! Don't!
Yamato- How many times I have to threat you?! You only understand this way! You'll stay with ME!
*Outside when Hanzo tried to go to the back of the bar, he heard you screaming and that makes him frozen while battling with Yamato clan*
Hanzo- Lady...!*He knock out a last man and jump over the counter going to the back*
*Hanzo heard something on the kitchen and run there; He find you being spanked up by Yamato on the ground*
Yamato- I told you! To not! Move! I'll fucking kill you! *He kicks you*
Hanzo- *point the gun to him* STOP!
Yamato- *He look back and laughs* I'm sure that you're out of ammo...
*Hanzo tried to shot but yeah...he's out of ammo*
Hanzo- Dammit! Let her go!
Yamato- Right...*point the gun to you again* If she's not coming with me... she's not going with anyone. *loaded and Hanzo approaches slowly* One more step and I shot her.
Hanzo- I... *He saw you from the corner of his eyes moving* Don't...pull...the trigger.
*Beside the pain, you sit in a position while looking at the gun, trying to stay away from it*
Hanzo- Yamato...let's talk, ok? Put the gun down.
Yamato- Aah! Now you wanna talk?! You shot me! You fucking idiot! *He scream out*
Hanzo- Right! I have angry issues, ok? I'm sorry, I'll pay the treatment and accept the consequences. *Hanzo put the gun down* I'm free...now let her go.
Yamato- *laughs* Nice try. *He shot at Hanzo's shoulder making him fall back* Nice try! Playboy! Hahaha!
*He look down and you got missing*
Yamato- What...?! *Immediately he felt someone cutting through his neck making him bleed out*...!!
*He fell dead. Hanzo sit down looking at you holding a kitchen knife in a way that just someone who actually knows how to use a knife to kill can hold*
Hanzo- Argh...! *Ge gets up* Fuck... you're ok?!
You- No... you?
Hanzo- No...! *The shooting stop and he look back*
You- Oh my god, you're bleeding so much! *You grab a clean kitchen cloth* Hold on!
Hanzo- I'm ok...! *You press against his shoulder making him growl in pain* Dammit...!
Shimoto- Sir! Sir! *He ran to Hanzo* We need to go! The cops are coming!
Hanzo- What they're gonna do? Arrest me?
Shimoto- The military is coming too...
*The adrenaline has passed and you started to feel a huge pain on your entire body, you almost fell and Hanzo holds you in time*
Hanzo- Shimoto...We need to go! Now!
*The three went out from the backdoor, Hanzo pick you up like a bride and went running to the car, not caring about his wounds. Shimoto sits on the driver seat and Hanzo with you on the back*
*You groans of pain every car movement lying on his lap, Hanzo is sure that you may have broke something. He's more than proud that you killed Yamato. He looked at you face, you were with eyes closed, so weak that couldn't even move, the pain wasn't helping either. He move some hair from your sweaty face.*
Shimoto- We should go home, sir? At the other members?
Hanzo- They know how to take care of themselves.
Shimoto- And the girl?
Hanzo- She comes with me. *He tries to make you feel warm* Close the windows, it's cold.
Shimoto- Right...*He close the windows* Why you care so much about her, sir?
Hanzo- ... *Sighs* I don't know. She needed help.
Shimoto- We're not heroes, sir *laughs* I don't know what your father is gonna think.
Hanzo- He can do whatever he wants with me. I don't care anymore.
*Next day*
*You open your eyes feeling a small headache, felt your body bandage lying in a soft bed. Looking around, you spot a room, japanese style, a incense burning next to you giving a good and relaxing vibe, the smell was good too. Tried to sit, but you felt a strong pain on the ribs, making you moan in pain and lie back again*
Hanzo- Don't move... *His strong voice takes the entire room, you look aside catching the Shimada wearing only pants, his body all bandage too* You broke two ribs, y/n...
You- *laughs* You remembered me?
Hanzo- How could I forget you? *He smirk* The first woman I ever met. *he sits in the bed*
You- Did your father get angry?
Hanzo- I didn't tell him yet. Maybe I won't.
You- You make all that mess because of me, Hanzo.
Hanzo- Of course. *Looked at you for a moment and smiles* You were the only woman I wanted marry, how could a let Yamato do this with you. By the way, what the hell you were doing with him?
You- Running away *laughs and felt the pain* Ah...I have a long story to tell you since a left the Shimada.
Hanzo- Yes, you got to tell me everything. *He lie down next to you* Where should we start?

*Hanzo smiled and move over you carefully, your hand caress the back of his hand, he look at your face for as couple of seconds before gently kiss your lips, you pull his head against you, making the kiss much more desired and full of feelings. A kiss of longing. You didn't care anymore about the pain, it hurt like hell, but...hey, it's Hanzo Shimada. You slide your arms through his neck, shoulder and chest going to his back using a little bit of your nails to provoke. The bandages do not stop you or him to feel the skins starting to warm up. Hanzo wanted you stuck on him, but he doesn't wanted to make you feel pain, so he keep his torso distant. He break the kiss going straight to you neck and kissing, sucking and using his tongue, making you shiver while grabbing his soft hair*
Genji- *Door opens* Brother! You won't believe! *picture the whole thing* Oh...
Hanzo- *Sighs feeling embarrassed without turning around* Genji...
You- *holding the laugh while hiding your face*
Genji - *smiling* Yeah?
Hanzo- Knock...the door...

*Notes from the future; after Sojiro came back for business trip, Hanzo told him everything and...well...Sojiro gave him a big scold and when he show you to him, Sojiro almost fainted thinking that he had to deal with his son first only love over again. In the end, Hanzo insisted that he wants to be married with you and not another woman and his father finally agreed, he just gave up. He couldn't believe that you were back, so...whatever for him. You're a good woman, would be a great wife and leader to Shimada clan. Two years later, both finally married and months later, had two kids! Twins! Genji was the happiest uncle in the world! He also changes and didn't go to parties or do his playboy things anymore, he just wanted to be a perfect and the coolest uncle*

unpopular opinion (at least, in the circles i'm in) if s*kura were a guy and s*suke were a girl s*kura would be treated like a creep, if not outright a predator. and i'm not trying to come at this with some like M/R/A slant to it like boo hoo nobody cares about guy's issues but like. s*suke multiple times rejected every single one of s*kura's advances. for years. outright said she has NO REASON TO LOVE HIM AND VICE VERSA!!!! k*shimoto even said she had to "wear him down" in order to follow him around and eventually have his baby. again like i said if a guy didn't know how to take no for an answer and stalked a woman until she gave in and fucked him it would rightfully be seen as fucked up. i try my hardest to give girl characters the benefit of the doubt but man i just HATE s*kura and i can't even post about why i do without the fear of someone finding my post and being like "UM YOU JUST HATE WOMEN!!" sorry for going off like this i just had to get this off my chest [censoring names so these hopefully don't pop up in search and you get some clown shitting on you for posting this ask]
tbh i think this is an anime-wide problem in many ways. like sakura definitely falls short of yandere behavior but yeah, the whole sakura/sasuke relationship feels very forced and it's clear that sakura violates sasuke's boundaries at times. i may be biased bc i do not ship ss, but i never—even as a kid watching the show—saw their relationship as making sense romantically. it 100 percent comes across as sakura having an intense childhood crush on sasuke and i hate that the show writing follows through with that to the point of having them get married and have a child together lol. i don't hate sakura as a character at all but some of her behavior when it comes to sasuke would definitely be considered creepy and aggressive if their roles were reserved.

Week Five - Activity 1
FIRST IMPRESSION
Browse through the photo book/magazine and pick a series, then write down your first impressions.
Hiroshi Sugimoto, Lightning Fields. Before reading the caption, my first impression of the content was ‘White, jagged flashes of lightning, frozen in time, contrasted against a black background. Some flashes appear less exposed than others, appearing distant and shot with a deeper depth of field compared to the more exposed, whiter and brighter photographs. All of these images have flashes angled in seemingly random directions, the most exposed flashes have smaller pieces jutting out of the main section – reminiscent of branches on an old tree trunk. After reading the caption, I realized the flashes are not photographs in the traditional sense, rather fields of electricity charged onto film material. I definitely picked up the ‘treeing effect’ from the caption. Content wise, these photographs is a tribute to the pioneering electricity research of Benjamin Franklin and Michael Faraday. Sugimoto created these images using calotype photography, discovered by William Fox Talbot. From a technical perspective, Sugimoto seems to be paying homage to the early photographic process, creating a technical commentary on the ‘lightbulb moments,’ that forever changed human technological capabilities.
THEMES
What makes this a series rather than just a collection of pictures? What do the images have in common? Consider both subject matter (of and about) and technical choices.
Series vs Collection –
I believe two elements unite these photographs as a temporal series: 1) Randomness, and 2) The contextual tribute to innovation. As noted in the caption, each charge creates a unique design. Some flashes are framed left, some right. Some flashes appear in the background, some in the foreground. Some of the more exposed flashes are obvious subjects, others hardly appear in the depth of field. Combining with the knowledge that technological innovations from very different time periods enabled this randomness, Shimoto is trying to freeze moments in time – almost saying ‘Capture every lightning bolt idea, because once it dissipates, it may never return.’ Without the historical context, the randomness is only marginally thematic.
TITLE

I think that the title creates the connection between the ‘of’ which is electricity, and the ‘about’ which is lightning and its history. It forces me to view the electrical charges as a call-back to the scientific innovations is took to create the electrical charges. Without that title, the connection is harder to grasp.
SEQUENCING
Consider how the images have been sequenced: has the author chosen a spatial, temporal, thematic, or other progressive arrangement for the photographic series? How does this influence the reading of the photographs?
I don’t believe these images were sequenced in any particularly intentional way – rather, the photos are numbered for ease of reference. I think the lack of sequencing is important, as represents the unpredictable nature of lightning.
LAST IMPRESSIONS and SELF-ASSESSMENT
How have your first impressions changed because of considerations on overall thematic and sequencing of images?
I think the idea of unpredictability comes through with the sequencing. While the title makes the idea of historical tribute evident, the theme of unpredictability wasn’t evident until I realized that the photographs were randomly sequenced. Reflecting on my final impression, I think this series has implications for STEM, as software engineers and scientists continue to make revolutionary innovations worthy of similar tribute in the future.

What is the main plot for Sweet Blue Flowers?
The anime's plot follows Fumi Manjoume, a girl who was very close to Akira Okudaira. Fumi left home with her family and moved to another country. Even more, years after it she again return to her hometown to be admitted to Matsuoka Girl’s High School. Whereas, her old friend was going to read in Fujigatani Girl’s High School.
Fumi continues to be friends with Akira, but she starts to talk to her. Although they talk to each other again, the relationship they share is not as strong as in the past. Fumi also becomes attached to Yasuko, as it is with famous faces.

we talk a lot about how k*shimoto hates women but i think we also do not talk enough about how people at studio perriot making the anime also hate women. like there are a bunch of straight up misogynistic moments in fillers or extra scenes or whatnot.
#there are characters that get moments where they’re just straight up weird around women#when that’s kind of really not the case in the manga especially not in the shippuden era#but like i can’t just go ‘it’s just filler guys haha not canon sp is cringe’#because there are filler episodes and extra scenes in the anime that i consider canon 100% so im just dying over here#naruto on main#i remember seeing a really long post about how the anime favors hinata over sakura and treats them both like#unnecessarily badly especially compared to the manga#i think it was too nice on k*shimoto but it does make a good point

i love how the word jinchuriki is upsetting to naruto for all of... less than one arc. it literally means "power of human sacrifice," which nobody objects to or finds questionable. naruto himself is upset about it for one? exchange then never again. even the sand siblings don't address how fucked up it is that they put a whole ass demon in a baby
and the emotional damage of being one? also barely acknowledged. one minute of a flashback of mito does a better job of addressing how to live as a jinchuriki than literally anything else, especially since she and kurama didn't become pals
