New noob artist here 😟!
Rewatched Voltron last week and I am of course a Lancelot shipper.
But my boy Lance was done dirty 😭.
I still enjoyed the series none the less but Lance my boi needs luv.
It’s why I’m making him a bad bitch 😈.
💜💙💜
Being forgotten,
Is being unfortunate.
They both walked to the Castle entrance as Lance took a deep breath. Both each holding their helmets. To show as a sign of comfort and reassurance. Lotor was holding his hand as they walked together. It’s been so long since Lance had seen his “team”. He knows they didn't search for him but it took him awhile to get over the fact his own “family” abandoned him. Lotor was there to rescue him from his own demons and now he's living the life being a badass general and the lover of an ex prince who would soon be king.
“Are you ready?” Lotor asked softly as he noticed Lance’s slightly sick expression.
“Let’s just get this over with,” Lance mumbled as he put his mask on while Lotor did the same. The two entered the castle and were immediately gun pointed at by the paladins of Voltron.
Lance sighed regretting his decision.
“We mean no harm,” Lotor spoke as he removed his helmet while Lance kept his on. He didn’t want to reveal his face and see the others look at him with guilty eyes. He was betrayed and he just was tired of all the liars.
“Prince Lotor,” Allura spat as she glared at Lotor.
“What do you want?” Allura asked with bitterness in her voice.
“I would assume you are princess Allura,” Lotor spoke and continued speaking. “I would like for us to be alias, that is if you want to, if not we shall leave and not come back.”
“As if we would ever team with you,” Pidge spoke out and Shiro also spoke.
“Who’s your friend?” He asked and Lotor chuckled.
“Oh, I believe you've already met him.”
“Guess there’s no point in hiding it anymore, we might as well be prisoners,” Lance spoke as he removed his helmet slowly.
Everyone gasped except Lotor.
“Hey Voltron,” Lance said with an emotionless tone.
“Lance-?” Keith asked in shock as he looked at the boy who was once an annoying idiot look all matured and... Different... But with the enemy. And to think he would confess his liking to Lance...
“B-buddy?” Hunk breathed out as he saw someone he thought was dead. Tears were coming out as guilt started to drown him.
“You traitor!” Allura had sneered as her hand made a first.
“No, no Lance- this- this isn't right...” Pidge weakly spoke as she saw her older brother figure like, alive. But this wasn't Lance... At least not anymore as it was clear he changed... More experienced, more leader-like and someone that's sided with the enemy.
“What have we done, ” Shiro said under his breath as he sat down. He was responsible, he was the leader and he did think Lance was dead, never believing he was alive. But he was standing right there, in front of everyone.
“Lance, forgive us, ” Coran spoke out as he was truthful. He never hated Lance. Coran always brought up Lance and the chance that he would still be alive. But he too was guilty for not believing hard enough.
Lance had rose his eyebrow.
He wasn't expecting apologies but Allura wasn't a surprise. She always held grudges against Galra and acted racist towards them even tho they’re not all the same. Siding with Lotor made her hate Lance even more than before.
Everyone except Allura put their weapons down.
The guilt was a lot.
“Lance-“Don’t,” Lance cut of Hunk as he stared at Allura. “Put your weapon down, we don’t have to fight, we simply came here to ask if we could be alies-“No, never in millions of years,” Allura hissed cutting him off and Lance rolled his eyes.
“Good luck with Zarkon, then,” Lance replied harshly and sighed turning away to walk out of the castle and back into their ship.
Lotor started to follow but he turned his back and spoke.
“You really lost someone that was so talented due to your ignorance, what a family you all are,” Lotor scoffed and quickly walked the direction Lance walked to.
Lance quickly made it to his and Lotor’s room and quickly puked in the toilet. His anxiety had made him feel sick. He wasn’t expecting to see so many sad guilty faces. Why did he even care? He shouldn’t at all.
He was the seventh wheel. The annoying paladin, the weak one. So why did it hurt to see them cry. He quickly slammed his fist on the floor as he tried not to cry.
Shiro was his idol, he never bothered to search. Hunk was a brother to him but never believed he was alive. Keith was someone he had a crush on but acted like he never knew Lance existence. Allura was seriously a spoiled brat and screw her but Pidge was a little sister.
Lance could feel himself choking of all the weight he was holding mentally.
Luckily, Lotor came to him and engulfed him in a hug. Lance was a mess at the moment. Lotor’s embrace was what he needed during this rough time.
He could hear Lotor’s sweet words about him. How much he loved Lance, and how he’s proud of who he is.
“Let it out Lance, you’ve learned so much from me and I’ve learned so much from you,” Lotor said as he smiled. Lance looked up at him with his sad watery ocean blue eyes.
“Oh amor, te amo mucho,” Lance softly spoke in Spanish as his lips made contact with Lotor’s. Lotor who understood his language chuckled and kissed Lance back.
“Te amo as well love,” He spoke and the two continued their make out until they were interrupted by an incoming call.
“Think they changed their minds?” Lotor asked and Lance scoffed. “Better not, we’re doing something right now.”
“If we’re going to defeat my father, we’ll need Voltron, this would be a very wasted opportunity,” Lotor spoke as Lance groaned knowing they would need Voltron to defeat Zarkon.
“Yeah, I can see why we’ll need Voltron-“ Lance sighed. “But only because we’ll need you as the new king,” Lance said as Lotor smirked.
“And with you as my empress,” He flirted and Lance chuckled kissing Lotors nose.
“Yes that too, amor.”

Commission for @shygreenfox!
For info about commissions, click here!
Katie took a deep breath as she sat down at the computer, performing her daily ritual of logging into Defenders of the Universe, the most popular MMORPG that combined sci-fi and fantasy elements in one somehow functional swoop. As her log-in information was processed, she put on the virtual reality goggles. The usual screens flashed as she was connected, advertising of newly released items and monsters to fight, new planets to explore, new ships to buy.
And, of course, the ultimate challenge items: five Lions of Voltron, scattered across the digital universe.
Whoever collected all five Lions would receive a fortune like no other and meet with the game’s owner, whose in-game name was Emperor Zarkon.
But, unlike the other DU players, Katie wasn’t in the search for the money. She was after something much more important: the rights to her father’s work—which, ultimately, included the game—and to get her revenge for what Zarkon did to her father.
They had once been partners, but when DU started to gain popularity, Zarkon stabbed Sam in the back. Not quite literally, but Katie had found evidence that Zarkon had paid a handsome sum to cause the car accident that had crippled her father and left Zarkon to amass a far greater amount of money than Sam Holt did. Then, of course, just as Katie and her brother, Matt, were starting to determine that the accident wasn’t an accident, Zarkon disappeared… and kidnapped Matt as he did so. Now, finding the Lions was the only way to find her brother and force Zarkon to pay for his crimes.
Caught and banned from the game right after discovering the location of the Blue Lion, Katie had to start from scratch. This time, she did so in disguise under the IRL alias of Pidge Gunderson and the in-game moniker of Meklavar, the best ax-fighter in three galaxies.
Katie had spent weeks building back up her levels and in-game coins. She forgot how much it sucked to be the noob, but it was what she had to do to avoid suspicion. But, more importantly, it gave her an opportunity to ensure that no one else had discovered the Blue Lion. Now, she was ready to claim the first Lion.
But first, she needed to find a guild.
As loathe as Pidge was to admit it, she needed help. She had been ambushed by Zarkon’s NPC cronies the last time and she needed someone to watch her back.
Fortunately, she knew just who to look for: the Paladins of Voltron, led by the mysterious player known only as Shiro.
Katie—now officially Pidge as she entered the world—had to hope that they’d take her in.
She guided her avatar into the Universal Space Station, which was part-tavern, part-strip mall, and part-airport from hell that you never wanted to encounter in real life.
It was bright and colorful, with thousands of glittering advertisements and calls to arms.
But Pidge knew better. Pidge knew to find who lurked in the shadows.
She caught a glimmer out of the corner of her eye. Turning, she saw an avatar of an Asian man wearing a cloak over gleaming silver armor, in deep discussion with a pretty dark-skinned, white-haired elf woman, a quiver on her hip.
Valayun, Pidge thought, recognizing her. The unparalleled archer.
There were rumors that Valayun was someone very powerful IRL. There were whispers that she was royalty. Others said that she was a president’s daughter. And still more said that she was she ran her own business and was the world’s youngest CEO.
One way or another, her allegiance was highly sought after. How Shiro of the Paladins of Voltron managed to secure her, no one knew.
Either way, it was good for Pidge.
She approached cautiously and requested to communicate with both of them.
“I’m looking for Shiro,” She said, dropping her voice. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to be mistaken for a preteen boy right now. If she was, her occasionally high-pitched voice would be dismissed. However, it would also be a reason for her to be dismissed. “I’m interested in joining the Paladins of Voltron.”
“Well, you found him,” The Asian man said through her headset. A warmth suddenly flowed through her. It was almost… familiar…
Stop. Stop thinking about him. You have a job to do. You can’t think about him now. He’s the one who left, anyway.
Shiro looked at her avatar. “And who are you?”
“Mekla-” Pidge started.
“Uh, uh, uh,” Valayun said, waving a finger at Pidge. “Your IRL name.”
“What?” Pidge questioned.
“Anyone who wants to join the guild has to be pre-screened. Personally. By me.” Shiro explained. “You still in?”
I’ve come this far…
“Pidge Gunderson.”
Shiro’s avatar nodded. “Give me a few.”
Shiro winked out of the plane of existence, leaving Pidge to be scrutinized by Valayun.
“A lot of people want to join the guild,” She said. “They believe Shiro is the best shot at forming Voltron.”
“He’s kind of a legend, though, isn’t he?” Pidge asked. “One of the very first players of the game?”
“Yeah,” Valayun said, nodding. “And the one who has been searching for the Lions the longest.”
Well, then, he’s going to love the intel I have, Pidge thought.
Shiro’s avatar winked back into the game. “You’re clear. But you’re not a member yet. You’ve got to go through all of us. I’m sending you a link.”
The out-of-game link in her messages surprised Pidge, but she plugged it in. It led to a private chat server where the name ‘PIDGE’ automatically appeared.
“What is this?” She asked out-loud.
“We don’t like to use the in-game chat function,” Shiro explained, her voice in her ear, surprising her and she had to bite back a cry of surprise. “Too many ears and eyes. This site has the best cyber protection you will ever encounter.”
Then, Shiro’s voice boomed: “Roll call!”
The avatar of a tall, stocky teenage boy appeared, dressed in Cleric’s robes and carrying a staff. “Block. IRL name, Hunk.”
The avatar of a tall, skinny boy with cat ears and a tail appeared. “Pike. IRL name, Lance.”
“Valayun. IRL name, Allura.” The archer said as her avatar appeared.
Another female elf appeared, this one with pale hair and skin and wore Healers colors. “Fala. IRL name, Romelle.”
A lean figure dressed in red and black appeared, his gray digital eyes still steely. “Akira.”
The cat boy, Lance, huffed. “And?”
“And what?” Akira demanded.
“IRL name?”
“No. You know I hate to use IRL names.”
Lance rolled his eyes. “Anyways, this is Keith.”
“LANCE!”
“Ha! Made you use an IRL name!” Lance said, pointing at Akira/Keith, who fumed.
“And who might you be?” Romelle asked kindly.
“Er, Meklavar. IRL name, Pidge.” Pidge said awkwardly.
“So. Why do you want to join our guild?” Shiro asked, folding his arms over his chest, appraising Pidge.
“I need a team. To find the Lions of Voltron.” Pidge explained.
“Pass.” Keith growled. “Get out now.”
“Keith,” Shiro said warningly.
“Look, we’re all after the Lions,” Hunk said. “Problem with that is, we’re already splitting the money six ways. I don’t want to sound greedy, but—”
“I’m not in it for the money!”
They all turned to Pidge.
“You know it’s a lot of money, right?” Lance asked. He spread his arms out wide. “Like, a lot a lot.”
“I’m really not searching for the money.” Pidge said.
“Most people who choose a warrior-type do, though,” Romelle pointed out. “So what makes you different?”
“Because I want to meet Zarkon. And get revenge. I have some unfinished business with him.” Pidge explained.
Slowly, the members of the guild turned to Shiro, who frowned and asked, “What did Zarkon do to you?”
“Not me.” Pidge answered. “My father. They were business partners. Then Zarkon betrayed my father and reaped the benefits that come from running this huge game. My father physically can’t work now, and we haven’t seen a penny. And right before my brother and I could expose him, he disappeared, kidnapping my brother in the process. I’m not doing this for the money. I’m doing this to bring Zarkon to his knees and to bring my brother home.”
Shiro studied Pidge for a moment, then said, “If you’re going to join, you’ve got to have something to bring to the table.”
“I’m a warrior-type, and—”
“We’re all either combatants or high-level magic users,” Shiro interrupted. “If that’s all you have to offer, then…”
“I know where the Blue Lion is located!” Pidge yelled, desperate. “I got ambushed last time, on my own. It’s heavily guarded, so only a team can get to it.”
Shiro stared at Pidge for a long moment, then said, “All in favor?”
The rest of the guild agreed, though Keith seemed to stare at Pidge intensely and gave her the distinct feeling that his ‘Aye’ was reluctant.
Shiro nodded. “Then let’s get raiding.”
*****
Despite being ambushed, the Paladins defeated the guards and entered the cave where Pidge’s intel said that the Blue Lion was hidden. Inside the cave, they found an underground river, along with a series of tunnels, filled with traps and riddles and dead ends. But finally—finally—they found the Lion, hidden deep inside a cavern, sitting on a pillar in the middle of a pool of water.
“It’s gorgeous,” Allura breathed as they stared.
It was stunning with an azure body with a white-tipped tail, intricate waves carved into the hindquarters, and gleaming sapphire stones for eyes.
“Let’s grab it and get out of here,” Keith said.
“We should probably check for—” Hunk started, but it was too late. Keith took a step forward.
Zarkon’s faceless robot guards, dressed in purple and black, suddenly dropped out of nowhere, pouring in from hidden gateways in the wall.
“Traps…” Hunk finished lamely, clenching his staff.
“Lance, you’re the fastest and our rogue, so you can take care of any additional traps on your own,” Shiro said, drawing his sword. “You grab the Lion, we’ll hold them off. Just give us a thirty second lead.”
The battle ensued; Allura bounced around pillars, taking aim at the guards that got close to Lance. Romelle and Hunk unleashed spells of epic proportion. Keith was a whirlwind, taking on one guard after the other.
And Pidge and Shiro fought back to back, side-by-side.
It felt natural.
It felt unexplainably right.
Then, suddenly, the guards all stopped and winked out of existence. The Paladins turned to where Lance stood with the Lion in his hands.
“One down!” He crowed.
“Four to go!” Romelle said, grinning widely.
There was much celebrating over their hard-won prize. Pidge couldn’t stop grinning. After all the hard work, it was finally paying off.
They had the first Lion. They had a chance. She had a chance. And Zarkon was—
A private message request appeared in Pidge’s field of vision. She frowned, seeing it was from Shiro, but opened it.
Her blood ran cold as his voice whispered in her ear, “Good job. Katie.”
Shiro knew who she was.
But how?
*****
She confronted Shiro as soon as the others parted ways, all exhausted from the raid and having pressing IRL matters.
It was just her and Shiro, staring at each other.
“Who are you?” Pidge demanded. “And how did you find my name? I covered all my tracks. I never use the same signal location twice. How?”
“Admittedly, you are good,” Shiro said. “I found nothing about who you are in my background check before you joined, other than what you obviously planted. But you told me your identity. You said that you wanted revenge for your father, Sam Holt, and you wanted your brother back. Sam Holt only has one son. And one daughter.”
“You still haven’t answered my question,” She snapped, feeling on edge.
Shiro stared long and hard at her. “You don’t recognize me? Not even by my voice?”
His voice. His familiar voice…
Wait. He knew her. He knew her father. He knew Matt…
“Takashi?” She breathed.
No. It couldn’t be him.
“In the flesh,” He confirmed. “Well, not really in the flesh, obviously, but in the pixels sounds weird.”
Oh, God, it was him.
Takashi Shirogane.
Her father’s protégé. The frequent dinner guest at her house. Matt’s close friend.
And her…
He wasn’t her boyfriend.
He was just the guy who made her heart flutter with a single smile. He was just the guy who once walked into a glass wall with a scarlet face because she had waved at him. He was just the guy who held her hand in the waiting room outside of the operating theater her broken father was in. He was just the guy who kissed her under the lamplight in the hospital parking lot, with cicadas buzzing in the background.
He was just the guy who left without a word the following morning, leaving her brokenhearted and furious.
“You left,” She growled.
“I did.” Shiro confirmed with a nod. “I’m… I’m sorry. I made a coward’s choice.”
“You left,” Pidge said again, voice louder. “You abandoned me when I needed you the most!”
The IRL Katie had tears streaking down her face under her goggles. She wished Shiro could see that reflected of Meklavar’s face, see what he had done.
Shiro hung his head. “I’m sorry. I just… I didn’t want to say good-bye.”
“So leaving without saying anything was better? How was that possibly better, Takashi?” She demanded.
Shiro lifted his head. “I’m sorry,” He said again. “I was… I shouldn’t have… Not after your dad…” He sighed. “Let me explain. Please.”
“It better be good,” Pidge snapped.
“I left half on my own accord, and half because of Zarkon,” Shiro explained. “He fired me without even bothering to make up an excuse. He knew I was close to your dad. He knew I’d carry on his work, would make sure Sam got the credit—and money—he deserved for Defenders of the Universe. But I was going to leave anyway. I was… sick.”
Pidge frowned. “Sick? What do you mean?”
Shiro’s digital image rubbed his right wrist with his left hand. “It was cancer.”
Pidge was shocked. “So you, you left for treatment?”
He nodded. “I went back to Japan. I wasn’t sure how the treatment was going to go. The doctors in America who diagnosed me weren’t very optimistic, and neither were the ones in Japan. And, after your dad’s accident, I didn’t want to pull you two ways. Especially when neither of us were looking like we were going to pull through. I had already planned to leave, before your dad got hurt. I just… I didn’t want you to see me sick, and I thought leaving was the best way to protect you and your heart. And I was wrong. And I’m sorry.”
“But you said ‘was’,” Pidge pointed out. “Are you in remission? Did you beat it?”
“Yes. And no,” Shiro said. “The cancer was predominately in the bones and ligaments of my right wrist. The chemo wasn’t working, and it had taken over most of my right arm. The doctors had to amputate, right above the elbow.”
Her heart ached more. “Oh, Takashi…”
“It’s okay,” He said, nonchalantly shrugging. “I’m cancer-free now. Back in the States, too. Staying with Keith and his mom, actually. Long story. But now I can focus on taking down Zarkon.” He looked up at her. “So we can focus on taking down Zarkon.”
Pidge was quiet for a moment, staring and Shiro nodded slightly. “I’m sorry,” He continued. “I assumed… If you don’t want to be in the guild anymore, we’ll turn over the Blue Lion into your custody and—”
“What? No. I still want to be a Paladin!” Pidge exclaimed. “And I… I want to fight Zarkon. I want to get my brother back. I want to bring Zarkon and his empire down, and make things right. And I want to do it with you.”
Pidge closed the distance between her and Shiro, taking his hand.
“I’ve wanted you by my side since the beginning. I’ve always wanted you by my side.” She told him. “If we’re going to do this, we’re going to do it together.”
He stared at her, a bit stunned. “You… Even after the crap I pulled, you still…?”
Pidge nodded. “I do. I… I loved you. I think I still do.”
Shiro smiled at her. “I know I still love you.”
“Then let’s find those other four Lions, so we can do this relationship thing right.”
“Another wonderful incentive,” Shiro said. He offered his arm to her. “Shall we proceed to kick butt?”
Pidge grinned, accepting his arm. “We shall, indeed.”

shiro x allura celebrity and fan?
Shallura ain’t my otp by any standards, but I still think I went insane with this one. Enjoy, dear anon.
Local gems are hard to come by sometimes in the consumerist world we live in today. Sure, Starbucks is a good substitute for a neighborhood coffee shop or tea house. But when it came to Garrison’s very own mustached connoisseur and his brews at Nectar of the Gods, Starbucks had nothing. Allura couldn’t agree more. And sure, she was a big actress now, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t sneak out of her house in Daibazaal every so often to visit Garrison and its resident master barista, and the neighboring city of Altea, her home sweet home.
Even if her “best” possible disguise could get her caught easily.
“Allura, I can still tell it’s you,” Coran whispered across the counter, smiling as he cupped his hand around his mouth to keep the words from going too far. “I’m pretty sure anyone with a brain in their skull and good eyes can, too.”
“The sun hat covers my hair, I’m good,” she protested, adjusting said hat.
“A wig is much more effective, Princess.”
“They never work, Coran; my hair’s too poofy.” She sighed and put a hand on her chin to think. “So what’s on the menu? Any seasonal drinks?”
“Indeed; peppermint bark and caramel gingerbread.”
“Those sound amazing.”
“They are indeed; two of my employees came up with them. Amazing, really,” Coran said, smiling with pride and twirling his mustache.
“Truly. I think I’ll try both?”
“Macchiato?”
“You know me too well.” Coran got to work on the first one as Allura continued the conversation. “Are you the only one on staff today?”
“Well, seeing that it’s only, uh, 6:38 am, and Pidge and Shiro don’t come into work till 6:55, 7ish, no. I am not the only one.” Coran poured the coffee into a cup. “And seeing as you like to get up at the crack of dawn like a farmer, I feel like I should be asking you to work here instead.”
Allura shrugged. Her body merely forces her out of bed in the morning now. Her hectic schedule through the years had trained her fast that being up at five in the morning was a healthy thing. And maybe it was; it forced her to bed pretty early too, save she didn’t have a busy night ahead of her. “I guess it’s just instinct?”
“Ah, yes. Instinct. Seeing as most people's’ instinct is to sleep in like a sloth on Sunday, you can see why I ask.”
“Have a job and I love it; I’m good.”
“A job indeed; one you’ve been cultivating from birth.”
Allura chuckled. “My father would agree. He was always impressed with what I could get away with. When I tried, that is.”
Coran handed her the coffee and smiled. “He would always wonder and ask how to deal with you. I distinctly remember him asking how to raise a hell-raiser.”
“Sounds like my dad.”
Coran jumped at the new voice. Behind him was a young woman with short, puffy hair and amber eyes. Round, Harry Potter-like glasses were perched on her nose.
“Pidge, where the quiznak did you come from?!”
“Backdoor. Decided to park in the alley.”
“How did I not hear that?” Coran muttered to himself.
“Maybe because you were too busy talking to notice.”
He chuckled nervously. “Possibly.”
“So, who’s this?”
“Oh! I am glad you asked. Pidge, this is the daughter of an old friend of mine- do you mind if I tell?” Allura shook her head. “This is Ms. Allura; who is my adopted niece and now daughter.”
Pidge’s brow raised. “She can’t be both your niece and daughter, Coran.”
“Well, I was his niece before I was his daughter; he just calls me both,” Allura clarified.
“Okay Pidge, time to get to it!” Coran clapped his hands in vigor. “There’s a caramel gingerbread macchiato to be made.”
“I’ve been waiting to concoct this one,” Pidge said enthusiastically as she rubbed her hands together and cracked her knuckles. After washing her hands and tying the burnt orange apron around her waist, she got to work.
“Does she not recognize me?” Allura whispered to Coran as she took a sip of the peppermint and chocolate flavored coffee. It was hot, but she enjoyed its strong taste.
“Pidge is more of a cult movie addict; she hasn’t watched any of your new ones… or anything from this past decade. Hmm.” Coran scratched his head. “I’ll have to recommend a few newer classics to her, now that I think about.”
“Not mine, please? She seems so cool,” Allura asked, taking another sip of her drink.
“Was thinking more Iron Man.”
“Not a bad choice.” She tapped at her fake glasses.
“‘Tis not. Pidge, how’s it looking?”
“Pretty good; Shiro’s recipe is amazing. It smells spectacular.”
The door to the building opened, setting off a soft chime that Allura had heard when she entered. In walked… well, Allura could only describe the young man as perfect. Even in a loose black sweater, you could tell he had the body of a demigod. A horizontal scar ran across his nose but did nothing to mask his beauty.
And quiznak, if Allura wasn’t having a good morning already, she was now.
“Speak of the devil; hey, nerd! Your caramel gingerbread thing smells great. What did you do to come up with this thing, witchcraft?”
“No, Pidge,” Shiro smiled. He quietly lifted the counter piece and placed it back down. “I signed a deal with the devil.”
“And in only the finest of inks I had,” Coran said, casually twirling his mustache.
“I knew you were Satan,” Pidge hooted. Shiro rolled his eyes and swept Pidge into a hug. “Hey! Watch it, I don’t wanna start over!”
“Yeah, yeah. Coran, who’s this young lady?” Allura jumped when he looked at her. His grey eyes were soft.
“Shiro, this is my niece/daughter, Allura,” Coran introduced.
A strange metamorphosis happened in the span of two seconds; Shiro’s expression shifted from neutral to confused to complete elation and the smile on his face widened almost comically.
“Wait, Allura Alten? The Allura Alten?!” Shiro freaks. The two other people in the seating area of the shop glance over at Shiro before going back to their business.
Pidge looks at him strangely. “Wait, what?
Coran sighed. “I knew it was a bad idea to tell you.”
“No, it wasn’t! Um, hi! Hello!” Shiro’s cool demeanor fell even more as he fidgeted with his own apron. “It’s an honor to meet you!”
Allura had dealt with many fanboys in the past. But, compared to them, Shiro’s innocent, fanboying nature was so refreshing. She couldn’t help but laugh. “What’s going on? Why are you freaking out?” Pidge asked again, placing the coffee on the counter. Her face was the epitome of confused.
“It’s nothing, really,” Allura tittered, grabbing the cup.
“Nothing!? It’s not; where do I start, you’re amazing! Your acting is mind-blowing; you can play the damsel in distress as well as you can play the hardened badass soldier!” The theatrics he put into his hands as he talked almost hit Pidge as she attempted to back away, eyes still wide. “Spider was a brilliant movie! You were made to play Coleen! Eh,” Shiro stuck out his hand, revealing its mechanical appearance. “My name is Takashi, but call me Shiro.”
Allura placed one cup down to take his hand. “Nice to meet you, Shiro. And thank you; Spider is my favorite so far, too.” (Which wasn’t a lie, but the new production she was starting held so much potential and she couldn’t talk about it anytime soon).
“Wait, she’s an actress? Is she that one you kept gushing about junior year?”
Coran nodded for Shiro as he ignored her question.
“Gosh, it’s so amazing to see you in real life; you look so different with your hair hidden I didn’t recognize you!” Shiro babbled on. “I’ve been following your work since high school and you’ve inspired me so much in my college career!”
Allura’s interest piqued.  “What do you major in?”
“Game design! Well, game concept art and such, so technically conceptual artwork, not game design.”
The actresses’ eyes widened. “Really? That’s so cool! I love concept art; it’s usually so much detailed and thought out than the final product.”
“Right!? Like, when Fallout 4’s art book came out, did you see that was in there?”
“Mama Murphy and her wheelchair looked so amazing!”
This went on for… a while. Coran finally shooed Shiro out to go geek out with Allura over gaming once more people started showing up. Pidge wanted too as well but decided it was a good thing to be a responsible employee rather than a crazed fanboy. Coran agreed.
Shiro got back to work soon, much to Pidge’s nagging requests. At their lunch break though, the two sat with Allura and Coran to talk nerd as well.
“Okay, so the Overwatch art book; opinion?” Pidge asked.
“Overwatch has an art book?” Coran whispered to her.
“Yes; I’ll bring it in one day.”
“It’s pretty quiznacking cool; the Mercy one is my fav just because of how different she was before. Like, Mercy as a dude? Yes please,” Allura gushed.
“Mercy was a guy?” Coran asked Pidge again.
“Yep.”
“Right?” Shiro blurted. “Or how about Hanzo?”
“I laugh every time I see it.”
“Why?” Pidge asked.
“It’s just hilarious? I don’t know. The thought of having Hanzo having been that overpowered and crazy is just… Eh? As a Mercy main it would’ve been ten times scarier.”
“Gotta protect your healer though.”
“Tell that to the casual noobs.”
“Who hasn’t?” Shiro sighed.
“My friend Hunk, that’s who.”
“Who does he main?”
“Usually Rein, D.va, or Mercy. Occasionally Lucio.”
“Waaaait. Is his username HunkyMonk? Or something like that?” Pidge chirped in question.
“Yeah! Have you played him before?”
“Yes, he was so sweet; the entire time in-game he apologized if he killed us, but was ruthless to those who were assholes on my team. We traded info and now co-op with another guy; LegglyLance I think?”
Allura sputtered. “Lance plays?”
Pidge shrugged. “I guess so?”
“That little liar,” Allura muttered, tone turning snide.
Coran’s phone buzzed and he frowned. “Ah, I’m afraid we’re back on the clock in two. Sorry, Allura.”
“Oh, it’s no problem! I love hanging out with you three.”
“Care to come back tomorrow?” Shiro asked.
Allura beamed and nodded.
With laptop in hand and coffee soon after, Allura continued coming to the Nectar of the Gods for the next two days, managing to avoid being caught by any fans and her manager (who had called her fifty times already). Shiro had become her new best friend in a matter of days; they would talk for the entirety of his lunch break about art, games, science, you name it. Pidge and Coran, of course, would join in too, commenting on their own knowledge on gaming (although Coran’s was limited to mostly Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and DOOM).
Shiro’s fanboy nature had calmed down to his usual self, but Allura still couldn’t help but love the goofy side of him. It would pop-up whenever they talked and Allura loved to be around that enthusiasm.
Now the question was, did this carry over into actual affection? I mean, anyone who had eyes and a brain could confirm he definitely was attractive and he had a personality to boot. But Allura had noticed how close he was to Pidge (who she found out was actually named Katie) and their bond was very strong. If she didn’t know any better she’d think they were dating. That still didn’t stop Allura’s own potential feelings though, now did it?
But not to digress, the third day was pretty much the same (save for the introduction of weekday worker and fellow gamer, Keith Kogane). Keith joined into the discussions at lunch and, surprisingly, was very observant the entire time. Allura found this out when he pulled her aside later.
“You like Shiro, don’t you?” He asked nonchalantly. He even had the audacity to cross his arms and raise his brows in expectation. The sly bastard.
“What? Why would you think that?” Allura started. She could feel her cheeks flaring with heat.
“The entire time we were talking, you had your attention focused on him.”
“Because we were talking strategy!”
Keith gave a look of disbelief but shrugged. “Whatever you say.”
After that, it got Allura thinking more. More about if this was an actual crush. She hoped it wasn’t; she had too much on her plate as it was (at least it felt like it).
She came back the next day, laptop still in hand and mission on the brain. You see, the other reason to come to Garrison was to finish writing a biography about her father, Alfor Alten. It had been a struggle though. Between the amount of information and accomplishments Alfor had gained over the years to Allura’s schedule, she hadn’t had to really write. His friend and colleague, Zarkon, was working on another part of the biography that dealt with their relationship and work. Allura soon hoped to talk with him again about finalizing it.
She was still receiving panicked messages from her manager (“It’s okay, I’m with Coran. No need to worry.” “That doesn’t help, Allura. For Pete’s sake you can’t just up and disappear; everything’s gone pear-shaped!”), but other than that, Allura’s morning had been peaceful. She strolled casually up to the register, sunhat long forgotten in favor of doing her hair into two buns. Glasses still adorned her face and colored contacts hid her unusual blue eyes.
“Anything different today?” Keith asked when Allura came up.
“Why not, Keith; any suggestions?”
Keith smirked. “Our mock unicorn frappuccino.”
“No!”
“Yeah; Coran managed to snag the recipe and lo and behold, it’s ten times better than Starbucks. And-” He looked left and right before peering behind Allura. “-It’s going to become a permanent item on the menu.”
“I am so going to have to drag Lance here.”
Keith rang the order up and Coran started up on it when Pidge and Shiro walked in together. Pidge’s tiny helmet was tucked beneath her arms as she talked non-stop to Shiro, who also held his helmet in a similar manner.
“-but he totally cheated, no doubt. He hacked his Junkrat’s skills and now I’m pissed.”
Shiro shrugged. “That’s Matt for ya.”
“I grew up with the butthead. I know.”
“Good morning you two,” Allura greeted. “What’s this I hear about cheating?”
“My brother has a habit of hacking things he doesn’t need to.”
“Ah.”
Shiro chuckled. “Well, seeing as he’s still really good at Overwatch and just chooses to hack is just ironic.”
“Is Junkrat his main?”
“Him and Genji.”
“You nerds,” Keith laughed. He was handed the drink and topped off the frappuccino with whipped cream and sprinkles.
“You main Genji and Hanzo, I don’t wanna hear it.”
“I’m just a casual; and a pretty good one at that.”
“How does that not make you a nerd?” Coran asked, taking the frappe back before Keith used it as a projectile (he’d done it before; the customer deserved it, granted, since he was messing with Pidge, but still).
Allura was handed the drink and sat down in her spot before she could really get into the conversation. A new email from her manager popped up instantly. It read since he knew she was in Garrison now, he was coming for her. I’m so scared. Her father’s biography was more important at the moment.
There was so much material he covered in his years up to his death. It was getting harder to sort things out the more she delved in. She texted Zarkon a few times, hoping to send her half to him for some advice. He answered soon, saying he would after a meeting. Allura groaned.
“Having trouble?” Shiro asked from behind the counter.
Allura’s arms removed themselves from her face. “Exuberant amounts.”
“I feel ya. The last assignment I had wasn’t even for my midterms and I’m more than certain my professor counted it for half our grade anyway.”
“That much? Must have been important,” Allura smirked.
Shiro shrugged, face neutral. “Professor Slav is… obnoxious, with this sort of stuff.  Like yeah, I was very proud of it, but at the same time I’m very done with everything by the end.”
“Same; certain productions or parts of them just drag on and on, until I can feel my soul leaving my body.”
“Poetic.”
“Thank you.”
Her phone chimed. A familiar name popped up.
You’re at Nectar right?
Allura sighed. Yes.
A few seconds passed before the door opened again, the little bell chiming, and Allura regretted looking up.
“Found you, bitch.”
In the doorway was her manager, Alejandro “Lance” McClain; and, judging from his expression, he was pissed. “I… can explain.”
“You better.” He strolled in casually, but his stance was stiff with anger. “You’ve been gone for three days too many, barely texted me, and you came to Coran’s without me!”
“I did.”
“The last thing was just personal. For the record, I am offended.”
Keith snorted.
“Well, would you forgive me if I got you a unicorn frap?”
“… maybe.”
With Lance sedated, Allura explained her reasoning was one of relaxation before the craziness of the new movie set in. “If you had just told me, we could’ve avoided all of this, Allura. Do you have any idea how worried Hunk was?” Lance asked, hands waving in agitation.
“I can guess,” she shrugged. “But last time I told you where I was going, you sent Hunk with me. I love him, truly I do, but I did not appreciate the gesture as much as you think I did.”
“I figured and I didn’t care.” He sighed, looking out the window in thought. “Allura, I care about you so much. You’re my best friend and now that your name is such a staple in the world of acting, I don’t know what I’d do if something bad were to happen to you.”
“Lance,” she started as she took his hands in hers. “I know. But you have to remember: I’m not some helpless little girl anymore. I can fight for myself.”
“You can, and that’s the problem. You still act like you’re unrecognizable to most of the public. Spoiler, you’re in two major films that have broken records with the last two years.” He inhaled deeply. “You aren’t nobody anymore.”
“I was never nobody.”
“You know what I mean.”
Allura smirked. “I do. So, hey, while we’re here, do you want to just hang out? The employees here are fantastic people. Great conversationalists.” She paused. “Save for Keith.”
“Hey!” Protested said bad conversationalist.
Lance nodded yes. The day moved on, with Pidge and Shiro right on time as usual. Shiro’s warm smile greeted her and she flushed red. At their lunch breaks, the five gathered to chat. Revelations were made; mostly Overwatch focused ones that prompted Lance to video call Hunk and explain how he’d found Gun-N’-Son and KnifeToMeetYou. In the same place, no less. Hunk was thrilled at all this, suggesting they create a team.
“We’re so calling it Voltron,” Hunk suggested giddily.
“Ah, Voltron! Yes, I remember watching that as a child. The sub was much better than the dub though,” Coran added on, muttering to Pidge, who smiled and nodded.
“I second that!” Lance agreed. “Both statements, actually.”
“Don’t see why not,” Keith shrugged. “Pidgeon?”
“Oh hell yes! I’ll text Matt; knowing him he’s not doing anything important. His user is He-He-Helium, by the way.”
Shiro looked amused at his friends. After fiddling with his hands for a moment he looked to Allura. “I feel like we should join in. It would be nice to finally have a Mercy on the team.”
“Well, I have been trying to get into Symmetra lately. I really like her abilities,” Allura babbled. “B-but yes, definitely. What’s your info?”
And so, they traded info.
Two Weeks Later
“Cut!”
Allura lowered her arms and stretched. Lance ran to her and handed her a towel.
“Nice! That was impeccable,” he complimented. “Although I’m more than positive that last part was improvised, wasn’t it?”
“Very; when Liza mentioned the portals I blanked.”
Lance laughed.
Filming was done for the day, the last scene an absolute success. It had been two weeks, but things had gone by fast (thankfully). A few things had helped with the process though.
“Princess is back online,” Allura said into her headset.
“You so need a better name,” Lance replied. “The Legs are back as well.”
“And you think she needs a better name,” came Keith’s voice. “I’m online.”
“I’m in.”
“Pidge, no.”
Shiro laughed. “It was cute, it doesn’t hurt.”
“Do not encourage her!”
Allura laughed now. “She’s our Sombra though; it only makes sense.”
“Wait, what did I miss?” Hunk’s voice said from across the trailer and in the headsets.
“Hacker Pidge,” Matt informed.
“Ah, so not much?”
“No, no. Alright, time to moderate and kick ass!” Coran cried.
The match started. Shiro’s Genji stuck close to Allura’s Mercy, defending the healer to the death (three times at the least).
“Allura! Help!” Pidge called out.
“Coming, hold on! Shiro, is it clear?”
Shiro hummed in concentration (Lance screeched in the background before Keith’s Hanzo shot the enemy down). “Yeee-es, now it is.”
The two characters raced across the screen, finding Pidge’s Sombra quickly.
“No dying,” Shiro said once Pidge was healed.
“No promises!”
The match ended with Team Voltron in victory and its members went off to play separate matches. Allura stuck with Shiro (much to Coran and Keith’s amusement) and went for three for rounds. After that, hours and hours of talking.
“How’s production going?” Shiro asked a while in.
“Fairly decent; all I can say so far is Spider will not be the peak of my career.” She paused and frowned. “Which sounds really conceded now that I say that out loud.”
The young man laughed. “Not really; if it’s something to be proud of, it’s something to be proud of.”
“It is, but I hate sounding like a stereotype, you know?”
“The Kardashian type?”
“Eh, yeah.”
“If it helps, you’re nothing like them, ever.”
“Thank God.”
There was a pause before Allura sighed. “How’s life?”
“Slow; I’m pretty sure Keith is dating someone, but I don’t know who. They seem sweet though.”
“Odd, I’m pretty sure Lance has too…”
“You don’t-”
“We’re calling it now.”
“We treat ourselves if we’re right.”
“Hell yes!”
Shiro giggled. “You’re so much fun, you know that?”
“I’ve been told,” Allura laughed, blushing mad.
Shiro logged off, having to get up for classes the next day. Allura played another round as Symmetra then logged off herself. She dragged her hands down her face, sighing long and hard. With every interaction, Allura could feel her heart falling more and more for Shiro. Did she mind? Of course not, Shiro was amazing. Truly a magnificent human. And just, ya know, hot.
Lance and Hunk even noticed it finally (or Keith blabbed to them). They often would give her subtle advice in and out of chat. But the flirting tips were never needed. Conversation just came so… naturally.
So would that mean her little crush was not so much of a crush as it was her actually taking a liking to Shiro, right?
Yes, a voice in her head said, as if it was obvious. The actress sighed again. Looks like her efforts in wooing were going to have to improve then.
Hope you enjoyed!

chapter 2 Pre-game
“Shiro we are not taking your car, or Keith’s car or whoever the car actually belongs to, car, down town to this.” Lance deadpanned. “We piss off the other players, they see us roll out in this pristine cadi they will light us up. We are not taking it.”
“Lance its bullet proof. From real bullets. It will be fine for some punks with plastic toys.” Shiro crossed his arms and stared down the young man in front of him. Lance returned the look with his hands on his hips.
“Lance, give it up its fine.” Allura said pushing her roommate to break the staring contest. “The added party members aren’t all going to fit in your jeep anyway, especially not with the gear we couldn’t get loaded into Rolo’s van last night.”
“Fine but I’m gonna say I told you so.” Lance said as he tossed his hands up in the air with a sigh.
Allura rolled her eyes at Lance before saddling up besides Shiro, linking her arm into his prostics. “Think you can help me load the gear from the jeep to your car?”
“Sure Allura. It’s not a problem at all.” Shiro gave a smile as he walked with her to Lance’s jeep.
“Uh, fine I’ll get the rest from the apartment. Keith come help or we will be late. Bring your friends up too.” Lance shouted as he ran up the stairs to his and Allura’s loft. Keith and Antok following Regris stayed with the car leaning on it chuckling.
“So we’re friends now huh boss?” Antok elbowed Keith with a laugh as they made their way up the stairs after Lance. Keith rolled his eyes but returned Antok’s smirk.
“Please ignore the mess. We trashed the place getting ready last night.” Lance shouted from the kitchen gathering needed food rations into his and Alluras back packs. “If you see a black case grab it and go. I have to lock up still. Meet ya down in the car.”
Keith looked around and grabbed a rolling black chest from the couch and motioned for Antok to grab the larger one propped up on the coffee table. They headed down Lance following a short ways behind carrying two back packs and a smaller case. He stopped only to lock up the apartment before rushing down the stairs. He hit outside just in time to catch Allura shout “shot gun!” and run to the front door of the SUV jumping in.
“Oh come on! That’s not fair Lura!” Lance growled out tossing her back pack through the open window into her lap. She only giggled in return. “Feed him.” Lance stated pointedly gesturing at Shiro, before climbing into the back of the SUV saddled up besides Keith in the middle row. Antok and Regris took up the back row. He placed the small case between his feet and pack in his lap before buckling up. Once he was settled he leaned over and gave his boyfriend a quick peck on the lips.
“Drive Shiro before we are late!” Allura said firmly pointing wildly towards the windshield arm extended over the dash. Shiro didn’t have to be told twice. Once they were moving Allura started to pull some waters and energy bars from her bag.
Lance cracked into his own pack as they made their way down town to the waterfront. He pulled out handful of energy bars. “Here, eat at least one now!” Lance said throwing an energy bar to Antok and Regris. He tossed another at Keith who easily caught his. “Gotta keep up the energy gonna be a long day people. Plax has lunch covered though.” Lance quickly munched down 2 of his own energy bars before pulling out a monster from his bag to chase them down with. Keith grabbed his hand before he could get his lips could reach the can.
“Are you crazy? You’re amped up enough already!” Keith barked out between bites of his energy bar, taking his at a normal humanly rate of consumption.
“Gotta keep it amped! So I can be at top alertness for this event mullet!” Lance gave Keith an impish grin. “Which is totally your field name today.” Lance chuckled at the scowl his boyfriend gave him, Regris and Antok sharing in the laugh.
“You did not!” Keith shouted flinging his arms up at his boyfriend, drawing out another laugh from Lance before he took a chug of his monster.
“He did not Keith.” Allura supplied seeing as Lance was going to allow the torment to continue. “You are red, Shiro you are black, Antok you will be Blade, and Regris you are Tails.”
“I’m sharpshooter.” Lance continued for Allura after he finished his monster. “and the lovely lady in the front is of course Princess.”
Shiro chuckled. “Princess huh? Fitting.”
“Aw look at Shiro trying to be smooth, he’s learning so fast.” Lance cooed.
Keith snorted trying to hold back his laughter. Regris and Antok didn’t even bother trying. Shiro gave his best glare through the rear view mirror and failed miserably at intimidating anyone in the back of the SUV. His look tempered though as Allura placed a calming hand to his thigh.
“Ok, so hers I get, even mine and Shiros.” Keith got out after his giggle fit. “Explain you three?” Keith gestured towards Lance and his employees in the back.
“That’s easy.” Lance started. “Tails cause I love sonic the hedgehog and the belt we have for Regris hold the baufer in the back and swings like a tail. And dude every time I’ve ever seen Antok he is playing with that oversized bowey knife. Like no offense man but that’s some crocodile Dundee level shit there. And we just finished watch the blade movies last week.” Lance turned to gestor back at Antok.
“No offense taken, I like all those movies.” Antok replied with a shrug.
“And yours?” Keith asked again seeing as Lance’s diarrhea of the mouth had ceased.
“Oh once you see him on the field you’ll understand his. I assure you.” Allura quipped from the front. “Lance’s marksmanship is superb and unmatched by any other players we’ve faced.”
“Ah, Lura, beautiful, you flatter me.” Lance beamed hands cupped over his heart.
“I’m sure four of us here can give the kid a run for his money today.” Regris quipped from the back.
Lance snorted. “Uh no sorry boys afraid today I’ll be impressing you.”
“You think you are that good do you?” Keith asked leaning across to give his boyfriend a light kiss.
“Uh, no. I know I am hot stuff.” Lance grabbed Keith by his shirt collar and pulled him into a longer rougher kiss. Antok supplied gagging noises.
“Afraid for once, I must agree with Lance. I’m sure you will be eating those words.” Allura started before downing the rest of her bottle water.
“What do you man for once?” Lance pouted, as the others laughed.
“Here Shiro announced as he pulled into the lot. “Where do we go ?”
“Look for the ugliest beat up van in the lot. Rolo and Nyma saved us a spot next to them.” Allura said typing away on her phone before pointed at a van with a small crowd waving.
“Hey the guys all know not to take pics or anything of you guys, but once we leave the cars you should probably put your masks on. Place is crawling with news cams and a lot of guys have go pros.” Lance said leaning towards the center of the vehicle. Making sure his boyfriend and his employees knew. Since his boyfriend seemed to have a phobia of his image ending up on social media.
“Noted” the four men quipped. Shiro pulled in to the spot next to the battered van Allura had gestured too.
Lance and Allura were the first out of the car. “Black pop the trunk!” Allura shouted from the back of the SUV. Shiro quickly obliged as he and the rest piled out to join the small crowd.
“Sharpshooter, Princess, your noobs better not be dead weight.” Rolo barked out watching the men move around the car unloading the cases to bring them around to the back of Rolo’s van. “Word is there are sponsors out here today.”
“Rolo, chill man. At least they’re eye candy.” Blaytz quipped up, with a gestor at the group. “How did you two end up with such an entourage of fine man meat?”
“Easy, we don’t call them man meat Blaytz.” Allura laughed out. “Everyone this Blade, Tails, and my boyfriend Black, and Red…”
“Who is my fine as wine man meat.” Lance interrupted with an arm thrown over Keith’s shoulder and a Cheshire grin for Blaytz. Keith supplied an eye roll but leaned into his boyfriend’s side at the jester. “And these guys will do great I swear. But this is for fun Rolo. Cut them some slack.”
“We are all here to play, sponsors or not Rolo. We are doing just fine as it is.” Plax added. Sitting on a case that was pulled from Rolo’s van.
“Yeah, besides I’m just excited to meet this mysterious boyfriends of Lance and Lura. Was starting to think they was making it up, or he got real creative in the fantasy and it bleed into Allura.” Nyma chimed in with a smile and a hand shake with Keith followed by Shiro
“Nope, we are real. I assure you.” Keith responded with a smile.
“Well most of me is.” Shiro added lifting up his prosthetic arm and pointing at it. Before returning the arm to his side.
“Omg, Princess please share this amazing catch.” Blaytz interjected hands clasped in front of him as he leaned forward one leg out in front of Allura. She just pushed her palm against his forehead.
“And I thought Lance was bad.” Antok whispered yelled to Regris who laughed.
“So let’s go round here, since someone stopped half way.” Luxia spoke up stepping forward. “I’m Queen, and we have Plax, Flora, Nyma, Rolo the crabby one, Blaytz the horn dog, so watch out, squirm and the quiet one in the back is Beezer. Welcome to team blue.” She pointed at each member as she called their names and they gestured in return.
“We need to load up and go. They are releasing everyone from the main gate after orientation, if we want the base Beezer scoped out we need to be early.” Squirm stated opening up a case and passing out blue masks and walkies with single ear buds out to each person. They all also had a charm dangling from the walkies. Once Keith and his crew had their masks they quickly put them on.
“Squirm haven’t you heard of fashionably late before?” Lance chirped, opening his and Allura’s case to remove his sniper rifle hanging it off his back with his back pack. Beezer passed out blue hand guns to everyone. Lance quickly sliding his into his waist holsters. Squirm just rolled his eyes.
“We want that base, so move it sharpshooter.” Queen stated dryly. “Your noobs need to pick some weapons out too.
Everyone started opening up cases. Rolo stacking a few they were taking full. “Is that a fucking RPG?!” Antok/blade shouted eyes twinkling rushing forward like a child in a toy store to snatch up the blue rocket launcher.
“Yes, yes it is. Custom built by the excitable trio, and a friend of theirs.” Squirm said with a chuckle.
“I don’t think watching the machine print at the library counts as building. Nor loading the rounds.” Lance/sharpshooter said dryly with a pointed look at Blaytz.
“Twelve hours a piece dude. That is helping. I almost got kicked out for my snoring being too loud.” Blaytz defended.
“Guess the big guy is taking that one. Sharp shooter.” Once Rolo had Lance’s attention he tossed a case with a strap to him. “Carry his ammo till we get to the base.”
“How many rounds do we have left?” Allura/princess asked as she loaded up with her gear.
“Only 5. The Olkari smashed the 3 we used against them last game. Haven’t had time to go make more.” Queen stated tersely.
“Look how happy he is, it’s so cute.” Florona/flora sing songed. Plaxum/Plax cooed at an Antok hugging the rocket launcher like a lost pet or favorite stuffed animal.
“How about you three any requests?” Nyma asked Keith, Shiro and Regris.
“Tails looks like a grenade kind of guy. Plax why don’t you saddle him up and show him how they work.” Queen motioned at the braided pigtail girl who was finished loading up and helping Beezer safely secure his cases to their dolly.
“I think I might do better with something compact.” Shiro/black chirped up a hand to the back of his head and his prosthetic gesturing in front of him.
“Don’t worry dear, I got you.” Allura/princess pulled out an extra set of blue Uzis from her case before tossing the unneeded gear into the back of Rolos van with the other stuff being left. “One or two?”
“Bring both incase either way.” Rolo suggested. Shiro took both looping the straps over his shoulders.
“That leaves you mullet, you ever even shot a gun before?” Lance asked Antok and Regris had turn their heads and fake coughs to try and stifle their laughter. Shiro gave both a pointed look.
“You brought a fucking cherry?!” Rolo shouted.
“And 3 professional bodyguards. It balances out.” Lance shouted back.
“Lance, calm down. It’s fine. I’ll use whatever. You pick.” Keith chimed in before the volume increased.
“Just give him one of the MP’s. And let’s go.” Queen said with a hand to her head in frustration.
“Blade help Beezer with his gear. Black you grab that case. Blaytz you grab…”
“Got it.” Blaytz replied case in hand.
“Tails you got those 2 small ones.” Nyma said handing him the cases.
“Ladies on the food and water duty.” Plax chirped up.
“Red and sharpshooter you guys are take the flag and run ahead to claim our base. The rest of us will catch up once we get on the field. Sound good? First up is orientation, goes over rules, game play and safety boring stuff. Then the fun will start.” Flora informed for the noobies. As they head to the staging and sign in area.

Omg! I'm really sorry but thanks to you I can't get enough of Sheith-Spider-Man au!! Hahaha XD Can I have their first kiss??? Pleaaaseee 😅
Dude, it’s okay. I’m all about the Sheith Spider-Man au I was literally thinking about it while I was riding the bus to work looool
[Sheith Spider-Man Homecoming AU] Part 3 (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)
Weeks passed by and nothing much really changed with Keith and Shiro’s relationship except they hold hands now in secret, which was exciting every time for them because they were both new to the whole boyfriends thing. So Keith was glad they were both noobs.
They were having their academic decathlon team practice when Keith received a text message from Thace:
Hey, kid. Kolivan wants you at the Avengers HQ ASAP. I’m waiting outside your school gate.
Keith’s eyes widened. He looked around and Allura was discussing strategies and such and the rest of the team were listening intently. He looked to his right and Shiro’s attention was on Allura as well.
Thace would kill him if he didn’t get out now—well, okay he wouldn’t, but still. So he leaned in to Shiro to whisper, “Dude, I need to leave. Thace is outside waiting for me. Avengers thing.”
Shiro leaned closer and turned his head that their noses bumped. “Oh, okay. Good luck. I’ll cover you, man. Be careful, okay?”
His Spider Sense was probably offline because Keith didn’t feel the “danger” when Shiro closed the gap between them and gave him a soft peck on the lips. His eyeballs felt like popping out and Shiro even had the nerve to be shocked at what he did when he leaned away quickly.
It was their first kiss.
They just stared at each other, a silent “Holy shit” screaming between them.
“What the hell?” Pidge broke their awkward staring.
By the time both boys turned their head towards their fellow member, the rest of the team was staring at them in shock. Lance had his mouth open so wide a fly could literally fly in and he wouldn’t even notice. Hunk looked like he was on the verge of squealing or crying, probably both. Pidge had her eyebrows raised in confusion and Allura… damn Allura dropped her book and gaped at them, her eyes blinking rapidly as if not believing what she just saw.
“Uh… um, uh,” Keith fished mouthed. “We’re uh, a-a… uh, we’re a thing.” he nodded awkwardly as he turned to Shiro. “We’re a thing now I guess, yeah?”
Shiro nodded quickly. “Yeah, l-like living things. Ha ha. G-get it?”
At the same time Keith said, “Like Thing 1 and Thing 2. That kind of thing.″
The second Keith heard what his boyfriend just said, he gave him a look that clearly said Really? Living things? What the fuck, Shiro?
Before things got more awkward, Keith stood up to excuse himself to Mr. Coran and Allura.
“Keith, wait!” Shiro called out as he ran after him.
As Keith turned around, Shiro was already giving him the kicked puppy dog look and he was always weak for Shiro’s kicked puppy dog look. It was unfair.
“I’m sorry for what I did there. I.. I kinda panicked. And you were so close I didn’t know what got into me and—.”
Keith held his hand up in the air. “It’s okay, Shiro. It’s no big deal.”
“It was our first kiss,” Shiro whispered. “So it kinda is a big deal.”
“Dammit, you’re right,” he clicked his tongue and breathed out heavily, as if releasing the stress he was bottling up. “What a huge step this is for us.”
“Monumental even,” Shiro smiled fondly.
A snort escape from Keith’s mouth before he could even stop it. “We even skipped the cheek kisses and you kinda just went straight for the gold.”
Shiro chuckled. “We’ll talk about it later. You should go now or Thace will decapitate you and I won’t have anything to kiss anymore.”
“I knew you were only keeping me for my lips,” Keith joked and then he felt his phone buzzing again. “Okay, I gotta go now.”
Shiro nodded and he pulled Keith in for a hug. “Be careful, okay? Text me when you’re at the Avengers HQ. Make Karen call me when you’re—”
“Okay, Mom,” Keith rolled his eyes.
“I worry, okay? It’s not everyday I get to date Spider-Man,” Shiro huffed.
“You’re such a lucky dude, aren’t ya?” Keith smirked. “Getting to have all of…” he gestured to himself, “…this to yourself for hugs.”
“For hugs,” Shiro repeated while laughing. “Now go or Thace will have my head too and we can’t have that. We have a decathlon to win and I need my brain for that.”
“Okay,” Keith nodded as he fixed his bag strap. “Bye!” He quickly pulled Shiro to give him a peck on the lips. His boyfriend didn’t even get to say anything because he ran towards the school’s front door but not before he shouted, “That was our second kiss!”
The smile plastered on Shiro’s face was so worth it.
“You know they’re going to ask me questions once I step back in that room! Especially Pidge!” Shiro shouted.
Keith’s laugh echoed through the halls. “I know!! Give them hell! Love you!”

I found a bunch of sickeningly domestic Sense8 headcanons I wrote ages ago while looking for an outline, and I’m aggressively pretending that we’re getting another season so, here they are:
I need Wolfgang making Amanita’s coffee in the morning, with two sugars, just the way she likes it, because Nomi is stupidly tired, so he’s letting her sleep in his body.
I need Riley laying on the bed naked, waiting for Will to walk in, and then Lito switching with her just long enough to wink at Will and waggle his eyebrows, so Will and Riley’s sexy times turns into breathless laughter.
I need Wolfgang switching out with Kala at the OBGYN, because it’s weird to have people look at your parts naked, okay, but Wolfgang doesn’t mind, so she gets to watch her dumbass boyfriend make funny faces at her while the doctor puts his finger into a body part Wolfgang doesn’t even have.
I need Kala disinfecting Sun’s fists, because oh my god Sun, you’re going to get such a bad infection, no ‘rubbing dirt in it’ is not a literal thing STOP.
I need Capheus teaching Nomi to drive because “You are literally a grown ass woman, and I don’t mind driving for you, but I may not be available someday when you need me.” And Neets is in the front seat laughing her ass off, because the car is apparently full of Sensates with advice, and Nomi is so cute when she’s annoyed.
I need Capheus who is terrified of getting shots, and Riley swooping in to get it for him, while chatting with Capheus about a new tea he just has to come by and try.
I need Riley basically being the human Shazam and Lito being the human IMDB, and the cluster constantly calling on them until they’re like “Oh my god, look it up. You are sitting in front of a computer, you lazy asshole.”
I need Nomi basically being tech support for the cluster and just JFC at least google it before you ask me. What do you mean you don’t have any virus protection, oh my god, you’re a walking, talking disaster, Lito.
I need everyone falling in love with one another’s family and friends and mailing each other gifts for people that have no idea who they are, because look, Hernando is going to love this appliance, Lito, okay. This blender is gonna rock his world.
I need one of the Sensates getting pregnant, and everyone feeling the baby kicking and helping push when they’re born.
I need really dumb jokes going on constantly, so there’s just a chorus of “that’s what she said” sounding at least once a day and loud internal groaning because someone (cough Nomi) makes terrible puns constantly, and it’s just the worst.
I need curses and endearments from other languages creeping into the Senates’ vocabularies because they hear them so much.
I need one of the Sensates being horribly sick, so everyone swoops in to do a few hours in that body, because why be sick the whole time, go chill in Mumbai for a while, I got you, boo.
I need the Sensates dropping in at like a buffet, pointing to a bunch of stuff they want to try, and yes, you have to get that Nomi, I don’t care if you don’t like sushi, I’ve never had it, so please get some so I can try it and pretend I’m a trendy Californian.
I need Sensates dropping in because I heard you had a bad day at work. Here, go take a bubble bath in my body and I’ll make you some food, and then we’ll meet back here and talk about how big of a BITCH Cheryl from accounting is.
I need Sun thinking Lito is actually in danger, because no one told her he was filming today, and oh God no don’t punch him, I’m so sorry, Miguel, fuck, lemme get you a towel. Jesus, Sun, ask before you punch okay?
I need Capheus too nervous to talk to someone he has a crush on, and the whole cluster standing behind him and encouraging him, because God they ship it /so hard/, please tell them they’re pretty Capheus, you’re killing us here kiddo.
I need the cluster doing nice things for each other without asking, like Nomi tracking down Capheus’ sister or Kala sending drugs for Shiro, because they love each other and want everyone to be happy.
I need the Sensates to be open with the people close to them about the cluster, and people befriending the cluster and being able to tell them apart. Oh cool, Capheus is here for movie night, sweet, lemme go pick out an action flick. Or oh hey Kala, glad you could make our weekly karaoke date, lemme get changed and then we’ll head out.
I need some of the Sensates with shitty parents basically being adopted. Like, ah yes, Riley has told me a lot about you, Nomi. Here are some cookies, and I learned your favorite song, lemme just grab my uke. Or ah yes, Capheus talks about you all the time, Wolfgang. Here, take a seat, I’m just about finished with dinner. How are you and Kala doing lately?
I need the Sensates getting ready together, like “No Riley, wear those earrings they match better, shhhhh ignore Lito, okay, he has terrible taste, listen to meeeeeeeeeee.”
I need Wolfgang, Sun, and Will all to show up when some guy’s being a dick to Kala, and her being like “Jfc I got this” as they all stare him down like angry guard dogs because just you wait buddy, the minute she gives us the go-ahead, we’re gonna fuck you up.
I need Sun stepping in when Nomi’s trying to sew an outfit for Neets because “You’re doing it wrong, here let me, it’s going to be way faster” while Lito’s in the corner telling them they need to add more sequins, there is no such thing as too many sequins, come on, let’s bedazzle this bitch!
I need the Sensates all asking Sun to do their taxes and OH MY GOD GUYS, LEARN HOW TO DO IT, IT ISN’T THAT HARD, but them all like, why learn we have you??? And Sun just rolling her eyes so hard because you are all the worst and you’re lucky I love you, because you’re useless.
I need Kala as like the long-suffering doctor of the group who’s like “Call your doctor, I can’t write a prescription! Look, yes I know exactly what it is and what they would give you but I don’t? Have access? To it? Stop asking.”
I need Will with the same ratty clothes he’s been wearing for ages to be taken shopping by Lito, because how do you not have more than one suit?? You are a grown ass man! You need clothes, you little shit. Oh god, put that back, no one your age should own any cargo shorts and you have like five pairs. Don’t look at me like that, cyan would bring out your eyes okay, just try it on and stop whining.
I need Capheus discovering the magic of video games and chilling with Nomi as they pwn noobs in Warcraft or LoL.
I need Sun teaching Capheus to fight, because Jean Claude Korean Lady has shit to do sometimes, sunshine, and you should at least know how to throw a punch. And Wolfgang teaching Lito how to actually fight, because look, flower pots are not actually a weapon, here’s a knife, oh god never mind, that is not how you hold a knife, you’re going to stab yourself, put it down.
I need someone getting dragged to a trivia night and then suddenly everyone’s there like WE ARE HERE TO FUCKING WIN. GAME FACE. THE FIRST CATEGORY IS BOLLYWOOD MOVIES, KALA, YOUR TIME TO SHINE, BABE.
I need Kala, Lito, and Nomi arguing over how they’re going to decorate Wolfgang’s apartment, because oh my God, it’s so bland, how do you stand this? No, nailing a poster of a half-naked woman to the wall does not count as décor, were you raised in a BARN?

Before a full thought could come to their dungeon master of the night, Lance's soft lips were pressing gently against Keith's own mouth, slightly ajar. It was brief, a soft and hesitant press before it vanished, but it was enough to send the both of them into a gentle euphoria. Neither had even closed their eyes, it was so short.
"Keith! Party's arrived!" Shiro called up the hall, interrupting any question on Keith's tongue. Lance was smiling a wicked smile, one that played the corners of his lips like magic and crinkled his lower eyelids into pleasure almost contagiously.

chapter 1, the pitch
“So, about a date of my choosing… Not sure if you guys would be up for it, and you can totally tell me no.”
“Lance.”
“If it’s outside your comfort zone, no explanation needed”
“Lance.”
“Or anything. You’d probably think it’s childish anyway.”
“Lance.”
“You know it was a horr…”
“Lance!”
Lance ends his finger twiddling and shoots his head up to look at his boyfriend in the eye. Shiro’s head just to the left of Keith’s, in the booth behind them was bobbing with failed stifled laughter.
Keith sighed and pushed his bangs back while making eye contact with his nervous boyfriend. “Just spill it Lance. Give me a chance to at least hear it. I’m sure it’s not that bad of an idea.” He picked up his drink to sip while raising an expectant eyebrow at his date.
Lance took a deep breath with his eyes closed before placing both of his hands palms down on the table. Snapping his eyes open making intense eye contact upon opening. “there is a this huge multi field airsoft event coming up in three weeks that’s been in the major planning stages for months and the groups finally got a contract and inspections and licenses for this one time major nothing like it event of the century! It’s gonna be at the old refinery and empty ware houses at wharf 82. It’s old enough that the new owners are doing to demo it, but not old enough to be condemned. There are a ton of new safety rules. But it’s like in an industrial setting instead of a freaking farm field and woods and it’s like 3 times the size of the biggest field in the area and like none of the players in the area are going to miss it. Maybe even some out of town teams. We can’t miss it, Allura and I. it’s the airsoft event of all events. It will be talked about for the ages and team blue has to be there in full! We will outfit you guys full gear the works we have all the best equipment its super safe, super fun maybe some bruises scrapes and tetanus, you both had our shots right? But you can’t bring any real guns to the field, there will be video cameras and pictures and stuff but the rules require full face masks, no just goggles. So no one will see your faces and we don’t have stay for the after party. You have to show your id and sign a waiver though. But you don’t have to register on an official team, place will be crawling with free Lancers. We can even use code names or whatever so you don’t have to use your real names. But it will be super fun, will you go? We are so gonna win and you guys would totally be a huge help, especially Shiro with his mad body guard skills. I know he’d so wreck it pleas?” Lance finished with some light panting and an eager bounce in his seat. Eyes shining with unshed happy tears, eyebrows high on his head.
Shiro had even turned in his seat to face behind him into the booth with his boss and Lance. Shiro eyes were wide at the level of energy and length of the speal Lance had laid out. Keith stared at his boyfriend as he had spilled his wishes and a smiled had crept onto his face wider and wider as Lance had continued and gotten more exuberant. “Airsoft huh?” Keith spoke. “No! The airsoft event of the century!” Lance shouted raising both his hands above his head and his butt off the seat. “Haven’t you been listening? It’s gonna be like a post-apocalyptic wonderland of violence and carnage with team blue on top!” Lance ended by gripping the table and leaning across to his boyfriend. Smiling from ear to ear. Keith laughed and pulled back Lances drink so the excited young adult wouldn’t knock it over. “You are really into this huh.” Keith said rolling his hand at the wrist at Lance. Lance began to lower back into his seat with his smiling lowering as much as his bottom onto the seat.
“Yeah it’s kind of our thing. Sorry for bringing it up. Was a stupid idea.” Lance said as he lowered his eyes. Bringing his hands to rest stiffly at his sides on the booth seat.
“It’s not stupid at all Lance. You are really cute when you’re excited. Stupidly cute.” He offered Lance a reassuring smile. “So cute I definitely can’t say no to you. It also sounds really fun the way you talk about it.”
“Wait are you saying yes?!” Lance and Shiro both shouted Lance leaning across the table again.
“Of course I’m saying yes. Shiro how can you say no to that face?” Keith held a hand out gesturing to a doe eyed Lance. Eyes sparkling again with barely contained water works.
“For security reasons, I’m going to say this is a horrible idea. No offense Lance, it does sound like a lot of fun.” Shiro sent for a placating hand towards Lance not wanting to hurt his feelings. “But this has security nightmare written all over it.”
“Three weeks right Lance?” Keith asked ignoring Shiro.
“Uh yeah, it’s in three weeks on Saturday.” Lance said gaze flicking between Keith and Shiro as Shiro’s face shifted from sympathy to annoyance.
“You have three weeks to figure out security details then Shiro. Do what you have to do to be prepared.” Keith supplied his body guard smirking at the mans mumbled curses at him. “It’ll be like a double date with Allura. That should motivate you enough.”
“Oh my god I can’t believe you said yes! Allura is gonna be so stoked! She totally wants to show up Shiro. And you are gonna get to meet all of our friends the full team is gonna show up for this!” Lance exclaimed holding his head in giddy anticipation.
Shiro pulled out a pen and paper from his coat pocket with a heavy and audible sigh. “Can I get these team mates of yours names? So we can run back grounds?”
“Yeah I can do that. There’s 10 on team blue. I’ve got everyone’s registrations, I can e-mail them to you or Keith would prob be easier than writing them all down. Plus it has everyone’s pictures and their field names so you have an idea of who is who day of.” Lance said finally moving back to his forgotten and cold dinner. “I can send you guys the sign ups and waivers too for those not registered with a team, so day of you just have to show your id at the event. And I’m paying your fees. This is my date.” Lance pointed his fork at Keith for emphasis. “No arguing.”
“Alright then.” Keith smiled. “Is there anything else we should know?”
“Uh, yeah, rules. They go over them ahead of time at orientation the event. Which is at 9am. But I can send those too you too. But rules that you need to know before you get there. Enclosed shoes are required. As are pants and long sleeved shirts. Plus the full face masks. Because of the potential of coming into contact with glass and metal at the event site. All guns must run under 200psi. Normally cameo is recommended for noobs, but this post-apocalyptic so like there will be a huge mix of practical and cosplay in everyone’s gear. If you have any kind of padded clothes I’d recommend that. It’s safe but some bruising and minor bleeding can happen. Rolo got his tooth shot out at one event. Hasn’t gone without a full face mask since.” Lance started rambling excitedly again as Shiro turned back in his seat to facing the door and other restaurant patrons. Trying to give his boss some semblance of privacy for their date. Keith however couldn’t take his eyes off his excited boyfriend smiling fondly at the young man as he beamed and moved his hands animatedly with his words. Hardly a bite making it to his quickly moving mouth Keith couldn’t help but shake his head at him as he rambled along. He can’t think of a time he’s ever seen Lance this excited or animated since they started dating. Which was saying something as Lance was always far more animated than most people Keith interacted with on a daily basis. Keith slid out of his side of the booth and pushed Lance over to slide in next to him. “Give me that or we will be here all night.” Keith took his fork and knife cutting up Lance’s ice cold steak and feeding him bites of his dinner between breathes of his long winded descriptions of the event, past events and his team mates. The waitress came by several times to refilling their drinks and laughing at Lance’s obvious nerd out. After a while of silence from Keith after his food was gone and plates cleared, Lance started to get a bit self-conscious. Placing his failing hand behind his head rubbing sheepishly. “Sorry I’m probably boring you with my weirdness.”
“Not at all Lance.” Keith replied cupping Lances face gently. “I like seeing you like this. It’s real. And you have such a fire behind your eyes when you get excited. It’s really, really, hot actually.” Keith shares pulling Lances face towards his own as the latter becomes a stuttering blushing mess, even after their lips were mashed together.

I feel so honored that my ask prompted you to create a sheith homecoming au hahaha. Sheith prob made some sort of headquarters after they "became a thing" lol. Like Shiro just setup some computers & lab equipment in their basement or something for when he has to be The Guy In The Chair or tend to Keith's injuries or repair his suit, but Keith likes to call it their headquarters even if sometimes they just go there to build their legos. This is where bad ideas like hacking the suit happens, lmao
[Sheith Spider-Man Homecoming AU] Part 07 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9)
It had always been a fact that Shiro’s family belonged to the upper class. His parents got him a laptop at such an early age and Keith and he would play games endlessly. All he had to do was ask and his parents would provide, but never did he abuse it.
However, ever since he found out that Keith was Spider-Man, then a few moments after that they became a thing, and then a few weeks in he got to witness Keith lying on a bed full of injuries, he decided he needed to do something. Relationships required effort on both sides, and they may both be a noob at this boyfriend thing, but Shiro knew that you were supposed to keep your boyfriend alive.
So he asked.
A few days later, Keith agreed to build another lego set with him so his boyfriend was coming over to his house. They walked home together and talked about the most random things—Shiro loved every second he spent with Keith even way before they became a thing, even way before his best friend had super powers.
After the kiss greetings to his parents, Shiro led Keith to the basement.
“That’s weird. Why are we not going to your room?” Keith asked but followed anyway. A few steps down the stairs, Shiro turned back to him, grinning so wide and looking so excited. Keith found this to be an odd behavior because he tilted his head and raised an eyebrow, “What’s got you smiling? It’s just the basement? We’ve been playing here since we were kids?”
Shiro shook his head as he snorted. “C’mon.” He grabbed Keith’s hand and opened the door to reveal a newly renovated room.
Keith dropped his jaw as he looked around wide-eyed. It definitely wasn’t a basement anymore because the room was brightly lit. Shiro dragged Keith to a corner that has a set of four huge monitors, then he sat on his boss chair, looking so smugly at Keith. “The Guy In The Chair.”
That put out Keith from his trance and started laughing at him. “Dude, you’re taking this Guy In The Chair thing to a whole new level.”
“Yeah, well,” Shiro shrugged. “I do want to help you the best way that I can. If you look here,” he pointed to the monitors. “I can connect your suit and I can have a live feed of what you see. And then this one, will monitor your vital statistics, and then this for—”
“Whoa, whoa! Wait, hold up!” Keith held both of his hands in front of him. “You can do that? Monitor my vital statistics? What for?”
Shiro was taken aback by the weird question. “What for?” He asked in disbelief. “Keith, you almost died in case you forgot?”
“I have healing abilities, Shiro,” Keith rolled his eyes.
“Uh, no. I don’t think so. Healing abilities or not, you’re still human, babe,” Shiro pointed out as a matter-of-factly, hoping for Keith to ignore his slip.
“Babe,” Keith smirked and Shiro wanted to die of embarrassment. “It’s—”
Before Keith could even finish what he was saying, Shiro took the remote sitting on his table and pressed the button. To their left, two doors opened to reveal a mini “clinic” that had a shelf of medical equipment and at the side was a white treatment bed.
“Takashi,” Keith softly gasped.
“I can’t have you bleeding on me,” Shiro stood up as he and Keith walked towards the mini clinic. “I know you heal fast, but if I can do something to help you heal faster I’d do it. Plus, it’s like practice for when I finally become a doctor. So it’s a win-win situation.” He gave Keith a soft smile.
“You didn’t have to do all of this…”
“I know, but—,” he was cut off when a set of arms wrapped around him, so he let himself drown in Keith’s presence as he buried his face in his boyfriend’s neck. “I just really want to help,” he whispered as he returned the hug. “I may not have superpowers like you, but I still want to support you.”
The grip Keith held on him became tighter that it almost suffocated him. He almost forgot Keith had incredible strength.
“Thank you. You. Are. The. Best. Boyfriend. Slash. Best Friend. Ever.” Keith kissed him on the cheek when he pushed himself away from him.
Shiro’s face began to heat up, his eyes wandering elsewhere since he was too embarrassed to look at Keith straight in the eyes. “Wow. That’s, uh—”
“Takashi.”
Being addressed by your first name literally meant you couldn’t escape looking at the person who said it. “Yeah?”
Keith grinned so wide, squishing Shiro’s face and he probably looked like a ridiculous duckling now but Keith didn’t give a damn as he still gave Shiro a loud smack on the lips.  “I. Love. You. So. Much.”
He felt his legs turned to jelly as he began melting. “Mhe, foo,” he tried to smile though it proved to be difficult as his cheeks were still being squished.
Keith laughed, ears turning red. He released Shiro and turned to look around once again as if trying to absorb everything he was seeing. “This is our headquarters. It’s perfect.”
Shiro rolled his eyes fondly as he began to collect himself. “Call it whatever you want. We still have to work on my lego set though.”
Keith looked back with hands on his hips, his smile reaching ear to ear. “I would’ve been disappointed if we didn’t.”
“Also,” Shiro looked at his feet as he cleared his throat. “That was our third.” The word “kiss” implied. He took a chance and glanced at Keith who suddenly covered his face with his hands.
“I’m so shameless, I’m sorry,” Keith mumbled feeling so embarrassed. “You do a lot of things to me especially in the feelings.” Keith realized his mistake as he placed his hands down and looked at Shiro in mortification.
Shiro couldn’t help but laugh out loud because he felt the same way.

chapter 6: starting line
Team blue congregated on top of their chosen out post first choice. The tallest building backed against the water front on 2 sides, raised sides for an easily defensible perch. Porta johns not too far from the back outside stair case should the need arise. The only down side was it was probably the furthest point from the respawn point. But they could deal with that. Once the whole team was onsite they quickly began to unpack and set up all their gear to fortify their location. They had 15 minutes till open game started to set up Beezer’s mines, cams and turrets. Plus rearrange the barrels and crates in the lower floor for cover.
“So what’s the game plan?” Keith asked sorting pre-loaded clips for everyone’s weapons from a case they had brought. The only uniform weapon among the group was their pistols. Everyone carried the same one.
“First up is fortifying the base and getting Beezer set.“ Queen\Luxia stated calmly. She was helping Beezer set up his computer and drone in the back corner of the roof, he’d be the furthest from combat and safely snug between 2 walls.
“Uh, no. first is always physiological war fare and announcing our greatness.” lance/sharpshooter said cheekily. He dug out his blue tooth speaker from his back pack flipping an empty case over to use as a sound boost. Placing their blue flag directly behind it, easily visible to all. He placed the speaker inside the case and directed it out over the rest of the field. He glanced over his shoulder with a Cheshire grin as Blaytz and princess/Allura joined him at the front wall.
“What are they doing?” black\Shiro asked.
“Wait for it.” Rolo said a smirk to his voice and lips and he continued to unload and move stuff around.
“At least they moved it to the front of our position this time instead of the back this time. “ Florona\Flora quipped carrying an armful of clips to the lower floor down the inside stairs.
lance\sharpshooter pulled out his cell phone since Beezer was busy setting up still. With a bright toothy grin he hit a single button on his cell and the speaker burst to life at its loudest setting blasting Eiffel 65’s blue daba dea. As soon as the music started princess, Blaytz and sharpshooter started singing along as loud as they could while dancing and drawing the attention of the other players. Cheers and boos could be faintly heard from across the field.
“Blue team in the hizzle you quiznacks!” the trio shouted out in unison, with some vulgar crouch gesturing, hand motions and signs.
“What are you doing?!” noob squad shouted, some in amusement others in object horror.
“Now everyone is gonna know where our flag is and gun straight for you.” Keith\red shouted in frustrated disbelief.
“That’s the point.” Squirm offered after sharpshooter just cackled at his boyfriend.
“What?” Regris\tails asked with a look of utter confusion to match his coworkers and boss.
“You came with two of them. Did you not know what you were in for?” Plaxum\Plax happily pipped in. she had finished setting up their lunch in a safe place to cook will the lunch ceasefire.
“They want people to go for the base. Sharpshooter is base camp squad. He won’t get enough action if they don’t announce their location. Unless we stay close by for him to pick of engagements. Which doesn’t work for this game.” Nyma supplied the newest members.
“You left out how those 3 just like being extra as all get out.” Luxia\Queen added.
“Seriously? Allu… I mean princess is like that normally?” Shiro asked as Antok got up to join the trio in their taunts.
“Yeah lance I can see, Allura not so much.” Regris chimed in watching the little group getting into their dance and singing.
“Boys do you have a lot to learn. What did you think her nick name princess came from?” Rolo laughed out.
“She’s a Xena, not a peach. If you want peach afraid your princess is in another castle black.” Nyma laughed at Shiro’s shocked face.
“This is going to be an eye opening experience for you guys isn’t it? No wonder they wanted to bring you two along.“ Flora happily chuckled. “Weed out the weak.”
“Oh kay then. noted.” Shiro quirked his brow at the group as the trash talking reached another peak. Keith just smiled at his boyfriend’s antics. Happy to see him enjoy himself and be in his element. The song switched to bloodhound gangs bad touch, and with it the little group’s lewd gestors increased. Keith bust out laughing as his boyfriend pulled his rifle between his legs grinding and storming his hand down it like it was a stripper pole. Allura\princess for her prim and proper ways at the cafe and yoga studio was now throwing gangster signs sticking out her tongue as she leans and squats on the wall. Blaytz was bent over at the waist, one hand supporting him on the wall the other raised in a fist bobbing to the beat. Directly behind him was Antok with one hand waving wilding in the air the other on Blaytz’s hip as he air humped behind him.
“Man they had to find another weirdo to bring along didn’t they?” Queen\Luxia groaned out face palming.
“really think this outing is gonna be one filled for the water cooler, for years to come. “ Regris\tails chuckled out.
“Tails no!” Shiro\black and Keith\red shouted. But they also laughed.
“Did anyone else see the quiznacking Olkari’s rides. Squirm asked as Beezer’s drone whizzed past his head airborne and now scouting.
“Yeah why didn’t we think of something like that?” flora asked
“Gee, where would we park one? Or store it? Transport it? Or better yet who here has the funds for one in the first place?” Rolo deadpanned.
“We will do fine without one.” Queen/Luxia stated.
“Guys quite messing around. We need to decide your noobs rolls for the game. Who’s staying at base camp and running. We also need to get somewhere out in the field before the buzzer.” Nyma shouted at the group now dancing to all American rejects gives you hell.
“I’m staying!” lance chirped setting up his stool next to the wall and his beloved speaker.
“Of course you are you dirty camper!” Plax and Rolo bark out at him. The others laughed.
“Who else is staying?” Keith asked. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to go out with lance’s friends to play to stay behind with him. But he assumed also he wouldn’t be the one making that call.
“Beezer always stays behind same with squirm. Beezer has to have back up.” Queen/Luxia shared.
“Not much of a fighter. I do support.” Beezer offered with a shrug.
“But it’s the best support.” Blaytz beamed.
“I’ll hang back this time too.” Florona/Flora piped up. “Wouldn’t mind a lazy game this time. And they need a baby sitter.”
“Hey!” the three boys whinned.
“Keep an eye out for gremlin. After the last game, she’ll be out for blood I’m sure. Or at least to even the score.” Queen/Luxia suggested.
“Nyma, Blaytz and Plax are our team runners.” Rolo offered the next group of rolls to Shiro and Keith, along with their co-workers.
“What is a runner in terms of game play or strategy?” Shiro asked. Hoping to not sound to confused and old, in case it was obvious.
“Runners go between the base and the field team, getting supplies or going back with a captured flag. Our team members on both ends cover them as they go between. Requires speed, and good hiding skill.” Allura/princess clarified for her boyfriend. “It’s also the ones most likely to enter combat under the MED. So skill with their boffers are more useful. Than with a gun. Which is why Blaytz is a runner.”
“I know I suck at shooting. You don’t have to rub it in.” Blaytz whined.
“Buzzer to go off in 2 minutes guys. Start moving if you are going to.” Beezer chirped from his spot behind his computer.
“Let’s have everyone stick together as one unit first. We can split off in to smaller units after we break in the noobs.” Queen/Luxia said as she climbed to her feet. The rest of the team following her up.
Keith took a moment to run up to lance. “How about a kiss for good luck?”
“Sure thing babe, but we don’t need luck. We have me and my girl.” Lance patted his rifle with a laugh. Keith just shook his head at him before lance grabbed him by the waist pulling him in for a kiss. “Have fun. I got your back.” Lance added as he pulled away pushing his boyfriend towards the stairs his friends had just headed down.
“Radios are on everyone. Let’s do this.” Beezer said as he lit up all his systems testing out his turrets and sending his drone out over lance and squirms heads to follow their field team out.
