Imagine info-dumping to your F/O about an insect you've been researching. They remember a lot of what you've told them in the past, so you don't need to reexplain what a thorax is (unless you want to.) They listen carefully, and ask you questions.

Imagine your F/O calling you whenever there's a bug in the house. Not for you to help them deal with it, but for you to see. They ask you if you know what kind it is (of course you know what kind it is) and what you think you should do with it. They're fine with it if you want to let it stay because it isn't hurting anyone, and if not they will help you gently bring it outside.

Imagine showing your F/O an insect you found. After they overcome the initial shock of you holding it out to them, they're eager to hear what you know about it. Even if it's the same kind of spider that you always see around, they're excited because you're excited.

Imagine your F/O buying you insect-themed decor for your room. They saw it while out shopping or running errands and it was just so you. It could be wall art, a plushie, a figurine, or anything else; they just can't resist buying it when they know the smile it will bring to your face!

Imagine your F/O throwing you an insect themed birthday party! They found someone who brings their collection to parties and arranged for them to come. You get lots of pictures, and the keeper knows so much about them! That isn't the only surprise your F/O has for you, they also bought you a new book about insects from a different region!
