I had a drawing months back that went kinda viral I guess, and it getting out of my normal sphere of followers meant that I got to observe how folks far outside of my twitter sphere interact with twitter and others. For reference, I am talking about this image:

The context, besides getting to draw my friend Jenny, was that I saw a picture that was of an anime girl that said "lets be in our early 30s together" and I was like "haha, I will make my own version of this." Part of it was also that I think aging is fine, and we need to stop stressing so much over staying young. "Lets be in our mid-thirties together" is not a joke, I sincerely wanted this image to be warm and inviting, to maybe give people hope that there will be friends and people who love you once you get to that age. I never thought I was going to make it to 30, and I just turned 35 this year, and I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Some responses were obviously teens/early 20s people saying they don't want to get that old, which is whatever. When you're that young the dirty thirty sounds so ugly. No one cool is in their 30s! Well, if you ignore the people who make all the things they like. These responses I waved these off.

I saw the typical twitter experience replies of "this doesn't apply to me?" Ok bitch! Go make your own like I did! And show me when you do, I'd love to see it!

There was a handful of people who were saying "retweet to scare a twink" which I felt was kind of rude. Not to me, but to the twinks out there. Aging doesn't make you less of a twink.

Lots of people were sending it to their significant others or saying they hope to find someone to be in their mid-thirties with, which I love. :3 It makes me happy!

The one kind of response which is what I made this post for and I'm so sorry that I've been rambling, that I found weird was the people who will reply to just you. The OP. As if they are replying to everyone in the thread. I'm not talking about in QRTs, just straight in the replies. "Don't forget how tired she looks in this." Brother I drew the picture. I know. And ever since then I feel like, as someone who loves to read the replies on other people's tweets, I notice this a lot more often. Who are they talking to? Is this what people are referring to when they say "Main Character Syndrome?" Or should I be lumping these together with the "why isn't this about my exact personal life situation" people?

My fiancé says I'm thinking about this too hard (I got engaged last month btw), and he's probably right. I can't help but be curious about how other people choose to interact with the internet and images and people on it. And, I guess, am I supposed to reply? How should I feel about these. I guess I have to decide that on my own.

For the record, you are all very normal/understandable when it comes to what you guys tag my stuff with. That you love the girls (same!), that they're very gender (love this), or wow is this [insert fetish](not my intention but that's the internet). I feel like the slime girls get the "gender" comment the most and you are all so right for that. Every time I see people reblog my ocs I think "Thank you for loving [name]."

That's all! This was a pointless post but I'm unemployed right now so I have too much time to overthink things for no reason. How do YOU feel about how people interact with your posts? Are they weird? Or are they normal about it.

𖦹 summary : You're just a girl who does & has tattoos living a care free life. Jisung is just an idol looking to get a secret tattoo, what happens when jisung becomes interested in the girl with tattoos. They say curiosity killed the cat but what if it didn't?

𖦹 a/n : I'm finally writing for my skz bias! I tried to put some of jisung's characteristics but at the same time wanted this to make sense so here we go.

You didn't expect to come in today as you had made plans previously that got cancelled due to an inconvenience. Nonetheless you came into work even though you could've stayed home! You love your job you really do though it might seem like a worthless job to some people being a tattoo artist is everything to you.

Setting up your station like you usually do so that when somebody comes in you're ready to get to work. Taking out the different color inks getting the tattoo bed ready you see what's on the agenda today, any scheduled tattoos and so on.

Most people that come into the shop are just looking for something new to get tattooed on themselves. Though some people really think about what they're gonna get and how they want it to look. You've done some really heartfelt tattoos over time and you must say they were gorgeous and you'd do them 100 times over.

Of course you have tattoos yourself, you wouldn't be a tattoo artist without them! Though your tattoos make people think you're unapproachable and mean, you really aren't you're a sweetheart. You have about 18 tattoos some without meaning some with, let's just say you've explored your options.

You love to tattoo women!! The women always have the best tattoo ideas and they take pain like a champ it always impresses you how the women barely flinch at the feeling. You, yourself know the pain of getting tattoos and mannn does it hurt! Though your smiling and blank face when getting them never shows that.

You like to think how many tattoos will you end up with in the future. You want more but you also don't want to overdo it too much, nothing's wrong with having a body full of tattoos you just can't see yourself having that many. You love doing name tattoos! It's what you specialize in a name can bring such sincerity and love from just being a name.

Hearing the ring of the bell at the door means someone has walked into the tattoo shop where you sit in your chair waiting for the person to be appointed to you. iPad in hand so you can easily look up some ideas in case they don't have any and are ready to draw their ideas down if they do.

Hearing someone walk into your station, looking up your met with a dark haired man who looks to be about his twenties you get up to greet him. "Hi welcome to the shop what can I do for you today", you say with a smile on your face ready to do what you love doing the most. "I don't really have a clue what I want, do you think you would help me out?", the dark haired man asked sitting down on the tattoo bed.

You being who you are accepted to help the man "sure, but let's start with introductions! I'm (your name) hbu?" ,You say to the dark haired man wondering what his name could be, "I'm jisung nice to meet you", he says looking down at you sitting in your chair. Looking up at him swiping through your iPad for tattoo ideas you say "nice to meet you too jisung, so what wouldn't you want for a tattoo?", you ask so that you could narrow down what he might wanna get.

"um no animals, symbols or portraits of people",he says thinking if he might want to add anything else to that list. "Okay got it, are you looking to do something random or something with a meaning?", you ask writing down the things he doesn't want as a tattoo on your notes. "Something meaningful I don't want to get something that I'll regret", he says to you truthfully hoping he can come to a decision soon.

Looking at him you think of some suggestions to make, yea you've done lots of meaningful tattoos but you've never given a suggestion for them, your clients usually have them thought out. "think of something you love, something that means the world to you", you say hoping he thinks of something he loves so you can start sketching.

While he takes his time to think of something you get your setup ready for anyone who decides to get a tattoo asap meaning here and now. You also love doing little unnecessary tattoos like, hearts, smiley faces yk those type of things if they want them you'll do them plus tiny ones like those can be covered by another tattoo in the future no biggy.

"so have you thought of anything?", you ask jisung looking at your different colored ink. "yea actually, just don't treat me differently after I tell you", jisung says which makes you raise an eyebrow in confusion and interest. "Of course not, now tell me so I can get to sketching some ideas", you say looking up at him.

"I'm an idol yk Kpop group, and the 7 boys I'm in a group with are like everything to me their my brothers", jisung says looking at you stars in his eye as he talks about the 7 people he loves. "Okay so I'm going to ask for more details just so I can get more of a perspective of what to sketch", you say genuinely ready to hear what he has to say so you can sketch down some ideas.

"uh sure how much time do I have?", jisung asks looking at you. "You have till 11 at night that's when I get off", you say, you truthfully have all day so anything works for you. "Okay thanks, but don't you have other people you'd have to attend to?", jisung asks in interest wanting to know if he was taking up your time. "Technically I can attend to other people that come in today yes, but there are other people who work here to attend to them it's also Monday one of our less busy days", you say to him reassuring him he had as much time as he wants.

After telling jisung that he begins to tell you details about the 7 people or his brothers and how they impact his life and much more. You listen intently sketching as you do, some people may think you aren't listening to a thing he has to say but really you are it's called multitasking. If you weren't listening you wouldn't have heard him say "sometimes it feels like they were with me since the day I was born", but you did.

An hour later jisung has stopped talking and is now looking up at you seeming as he has a question. "question?", you ask still looking at your sketches, "how long have you been doing this if you don't mind me asking", jisung asks in curiosity.

"I've been doing tattoos since I was 19 I'm 23 now after this year it will be 5 years", you say genuinely thinking of how far you've come in the tattoo industry. "Wow that's amazing, you must love what you do", jisung says smiling at you. Of course you love what you do! You wouldn't be doing it if you didn't what's the fun in that. "Yea I really do", you say thinking about all the tattoos and stuff you've ever done.

"I find you really interesting", jisung says looking at you with much more curiosity now, "Really? Why is that?", you ask curious why an idol or anyone would be interested in you! a tattoo artist. "I just feel there's more to you than just a tattoo artist", he says looking you in the eye, no one has ever said that to at your job or outside of it to be honest you appreciate he thinks of you that way.

"well haven't you heard? curiosity killed the cat", you say in a joking tone laughing while looking at jisung.

"well I guess I'm the cat, but I'm looking to survive", he says laughing.

Info for writer in Thai series fandom: Pet name & tone indicator sound

Some words to call your lover

Sweet and polite

คุณ-khun or เธอ-tur with ฉัน-chan, เรา-rao or ผม-phom(offically this one is for men, but it did get used by women) are words that can be used with people who are not your lovers but are considered to be quite sweet to call your lover that. I already mentioned it in Chapter 4. Chan and tur are very popular choices for song lyrics.

ที่รัก-thirak straight up call a person "someone you love". Rak is love, so if we want it literally, it would be beloved or something along those lines. I never saw anyone actually use it seriously before. Just a parody of something, or like I do, to tease a friend. Or, if we count, I think I've heard a mom call her child "mom's thirak" before. We could add สุด-sud in the front, sudthirak, make it mean "someone you love most."

แฟน-faen Boyfriend/girlfriend but non-binary. If used as a pronoun, then it usually comes with those Thai sounds khrap/ka at the end. You probably need to draw the word out for good measure too. Its sound is the same as how the word fan in "fan club" is pronounced in Thai, so there are a lot of fan club or faen khrap puns/jokes used with actor shipping situations.

คนดี-kondee Khon is a unit of human in Thai, and dee is good. เด็กดี-dekdee Dek is a child, and dee is the same as dee in Khondee. I feel like both Khondee and Dekdee have a bit of a patronizing feeling. But not always in a bad way, though. Is that a thing? Like, if you used those words with someone sincere, you probably felt the urge to take care of them at least a little bit. You probably feel like they are a precious, cute little thing. Something like that The fact that Im 100% sure parents used dekdee with their children might factor into it. As for Kondee, I'm about 90% sure.

Dek means kid, but we use it quite loosely, so twenty-somethings get called Dek all the time, and if it were by an elderly person, then the Dek in question might as well be a mother of two.

พ่อ แม่-por and mae As in father and mother. Usually, it starts when a couple becomes parents. A fur baby will do too for some.

Insulting words as a pet name

เด๋อ-der clumsy, foolish, silly, awkward, stupid, dull, dump_ Those things mix together, but like, in a soft version. Usually used with something add to the front, such as ไอ้-Ai, เด็ก-dek, or some Thai's sound for tone indicator(?) to the back, or both.

อ้วน-uuan fat, chubby—อ้วน can actually be a parent-given nickname too. I know some women around my mom's age range whose nickname is that. Personally, if it says it in a particular way, I find it really cute.

เหนียง-niang double chin

เถิก-terk go bald,the description of a hair line that starts to recede.

ลุง-lung Uncle (the one that is older than the father) aka old man. Usually used by a noticeable younger person. Not that they actually date someone older than their dad, or do they?👀

เด็กโง่-dekngo Stupid child, but like, an endearingly stupid, childish person.

ดื้อ-due _Not obeying, refuse to comply_ often used to describe a child. I saw ดื้อ get translated to stubbon a lot, but personally, I find that not quite fitting (not that I have other words in mind). It might just be a me thing, though.

Probably a full-on PDA couple, act cute to each other 24/7

เล็ก-lek Small,tiny

ใหญ่-yai Big,giant

This two are a pair. Sometime it will have something added to it, ตัว-tua which means self/person/body, for exemple.

Animal + small or pi/nong/por(dad)/mae(mom) + animal Something like, cat, bear, pig, dog

Ex:Pi Muu(pig)/Nong Miao(cute alternative way to call cat)/Miao lek(small)/Por Mee(bear)

บี๋-bie Short from baby

Repeating a syllable of a nick name two times for a lovey-dovey pet name is also a thing.

ไอ้ต้าว-ai tao Tao is a meaningless sound that was derived from a word that was a prefix "เจ้า-Jao." It is used to express that the speaker thinks the person being mentioned is cute/childlike. They most likely appear with a strangely sweet voice. Sometimes used for friendly mocking of someone for being childlike.

Eng sub-cute dimples = Ai tao dimples

หนู-nhu Nhu is something that is used with children, but it also can be for a lover. Can be innocent or quite sinful depending on the context. (This one is already mentioned in Chapter 4 too)

เค้า Kao and ตัวเอง Tua-eng are a pair. Kao is for calling yourself, and Tuaeng is for calling your lover. What is of interest is that Kao typically refers to the third person, and Tuaeng refers to "oneself." It kind of gets perceived as something silly that people in love do. There are some words that are born from distorted "tuaeng" that you can use for a lover too, such as using only the first word "tua", shortening the "tua" sound to make it sound like 'ta-eng, or combining the two sounds to make it sound like "teng". The "Kao" might be replaced by other words such as Rao, and it might help lower the silliness, or not? Lately, I have seen some traders (usually women small business owners) call their customers Tuaeng to make them feel closer to them. Not Kao, tho. I have yet to see any shopkeeper use Kao for "I.".

Kind of a little roleplay, but not really?

ป๋า-pa Dad as in father or 💰Daddy💰 as in sugar daddy.

An overly respectful way to call someone or use a title that the receiver doesn't actually own is also something I see and think is pretty cute.

Some words/phrase that relevent to love life.

เพื่อนคู่คิด มิตรคู่ใจ-phuea khukhit mit khuchai This is a phrase that describes a marriage partner as a friend ( phuea = friend) who will help you think ( khit), a trusting ally (mit ), and your best friend who you can rely on. I find it to be very romantic.

คู่ชีวิต-khu chivit life partner

คนรู้ใจ-khon ru jai person who knows your heart

ศีลเสมอ-syn samoe (like the name of a character from Cutie Pie)

ศีล Syn = precept

เสมอ samoe = same,equal

"Syn samoe" is a figure of speech that is probably roughly equivalent to "birds of a feather flock together." It is a concept that in order for one to be able to associate with others with ease of mind, one needs to hold the same moral code and values. If a person only holds on to one of the precepts, not killing, they wouldn't be suited to be with someone who also does not steal, not only as a lover but also as a close friend or someone close in general. And also the reversal, which is that if you can be close with someone, then you must be on the same level as that person, good or bad.

คนคุย - khon kui Person (you) talking to If A is Khon Kui of B, then they are getting to know each other with romantic intentions, but nothing is serious yet.

กิ่งทองใบหยก - king thong bai yok - jade leaf gold branch A very suitable match, used for those who are about to get married.

ผีเน่าโลงผุ - phi nao long phu - rotten ghost, decayed coffin When a couple is a very suitable match, but it's because they both are bad

ทองแผ่นเดียวกัน - thong phaen diao kan - the same gold sheet To become one piece of gold is to be connected by marriage. Ex: These two families are going to become the same piece of gold soon = someone from each of their families is going to marry the other.

ข้าวใหม่ปลามัน - fresh rice, creamy(?) fish A word to call a newlywed couple. Anything new is good, so in a period of newlywed bliss, everything will be good in your eyes.

ถ่านไฟเก่า-old coal Old flame, ex-lover who still might get back together

โซ่ทอง-gold chain A child is parents' gold chain that will link parents' hearts together forever. Basiclly, it is a concept that by having a child, the couple will be more committed to each other. Kind of scary if you ask me.

จีบ-jeeb _woo, flirt, spark, spoon, court, bind around_ I saw this translate to flirting most of the time, but while flirting is not serious, จีบ can be.

หยอด-yort is to put or pour it little by little in a narrow place; in some contexts, it means to drop in sweet words when you talk to someone, aka flirt.

อ้อน-oon is to plead, to implore, to cajole, to wheedle, to whimper.

กัดก้อนเกลือ-kat kon kluea-to bite on a cube of salt Is to be poor. usually mean when your financial situation is likely to be better than it is if not for your choice of partner.

ป๋า pa - เสี่ย sia - เด็ก dek pa/ dek sia When these words are used together, pa or sia is an (usually) older, wealthy (this one is a must) man, and dek, which translate directly to child or young, is a (usually) younger person who got financial benefit from being in this relationship. Pa or Sia is a sugar daddy, and Dek is a sugar baby, basically.

คบ-kob Is mostly used to mean dating, but it can also mean "associate" or "friend with", and it has been used for a variety of ambiguous speaking scene in drama and novels.

ชง-chong-brew It's kind of like creating an opportunity for someone else to say a pick-up line. Say things in order to push your friend toward the one you think your friend will like (whether the assumption is correct or not). Say a pick-up line or flirt with someone for the other person. GMM actors do it to other shipping pairs all the time. I find it quite funny, lol.

เพื่อน=friend But it can also mean accompany if you say it in some way. You could say that you want someone to go somewhere with you as เพื่อน and that would mean that you want them to accompany you, not that they are your friend exclusively. You can say it to anyone. friend, family member, lover, co-worker, etc.

Here Ayan say that he thanks Akk for นอนเป็นแฟน instead of นอนเป็นเพื่อน.

I think it would help in the next part (and with the Thai language in general) if you could remember what tone is what.

The mid one, number 1, had no mark, and the other is as you can see in that orange band.

อา, อ่า, อ้า, อ๊า, and อ๋า is probably going to be the same when spelled in English (unless we make something up, like, อา=ah, อ่า=aah) but in Thai, you can see that the mark on top of them is different.

There are also a bunch of things that are relevant, like the way each type of Thai alphabet has its own base(?) tone in itself, making tone marking affect them differently. Ex: low consonant + dead syllable + short sound = rising tone (5) Even though it is written with no mark tone and so looks like it should probably be a mid tone (1), but we are not here for an actual Thai lesson, so you just need to remember that different tone is a thing and different tone = different mening.

Sounds that we use to indicate the tone of the sentence

****This topic isn't really an official and well-organized thing, plus my knowledge and ability to explain are quite limited, so maybe don't see it as a fact but something subjective?

If I put a check mark in the example column, it means it makes sense to put the sound in that row in the blank. Well, at least to me, it makes sense.

A sentence that has some polite words in it doesn't mean that it is in fact polite or that the speaker is being polite and proper. So while Khrap and Ka are polite, people still can and have used them to end a sentence that is so impolite you will get customers yelling for your manager to fire you for saying it.

Some of those sounds can also be paired with other too. For example, Na(4) and Si(2) can be paired with Ka(4) and Khrap(4), as well as a few others, and include each other.

Ahhhhhhhhhh I'm relieved the fact that I was crazy enough to finish the insanely long fan meeting report. The fan meeting was on March 17th, and it is now April 16th in JST. Huh, I've been writing fan meeting reports for a month? Yeah, I think it took me about 60 hours, including the report on Kodaka's autograph session...

Every day for the last few days I kept thinking "It'll be done tomorrow" or "It'll be done today" but it took much longer than expected. 😅 But I think it's all thanks to the many people who liked and commented and reblogged, so as I write in every post, I really appreciate those who read it. I just write what I wanted to tell someone or draw some illustrations to explain it, but it's been a wonderful experience to see your reactions and to know that there are fans all over the world who love RAIN CODE. I sincerely hope that the fandom will continue to grow in the future.

And I would like to announce to those of you who follow this blog: This blog will take a break from posting about RAIN CODE and will return to a blog where I will post mainly about Danganronpa again. I'm sure I'll be posting posts that contain spoilers for the Danganronpa series, so if you haven't played Danganronpa yet or have only played parts of it, please feel free to unfollow me.

I have no particular desire to increase my follower count, so feel free to remove me. Of course, I'm happy and very grateful for your interest in my blog! But if you haven't played Danganronpa yet, maybe you will in the future, or maybe you'll see a streamer playing it, and I think it would be best to avoid looking at spoiler posts for those times.

By the way, I still have a lot of desire to draw characters from RAIN CODE! At least I will post some art on the first anniversary of the game's release and on the birthday of Fubuki, my favorite character. Besides that, I have about 3 ideas for manga I want to draw for a crossover with Danganronpa, and I have more ideas for drawings and animations of the characters. (I really thought I would have posted more of these by now, but I'm sad that I haven't. Time flies too fast! 😭😭😭)

What career do you think Sara will have in the future? Or what do you think her dream job would be?

Thank you! I hope your day is lovely and amazing too.

This is a great ask, and one where you might get more than you asked for. In part because I’ve thought about it a lot. I have not only a dream job in mind for Sara, but also some nightmare jobs as well. (Don’t worry, it’s all related to fanfic plots living in my head, and I promise they end in a good place.)

Is it okay if I start with Sara’s nightmare job? This one sort of popped into my head as I was envisioning what a Second Chance Romance could look like between Sara and August, maybe a decade after canon where August has done a lot of work and made various restitutions to Simon and gotten much more of his shit together.

As for that story… I thought it might be interesting, as far as like, what generates a plot and character arc, to put Sara at a job that’s taking advantage of her compassion and desire for justice. In my experience it’s pretty common for younger people to end up in situations like that in their first jobs, and I think it’d be interesting if Sara was in a place where she won’t deal with that in a romantic partner anymore, but she hasn’t learned to recognize it in a work situation yet. (This is pretty common in growing up—you tackle one issue in one part of one’s life and it sneakily migrates to another part.) So she’s working this nightmare job for an autism charity I’ve sneakily called PuzzleChildren (it’s a reference, shout if you get it!) which is trying to rehabilitate its image after news breaks that they haven’t really hired any actually autistic people. Sara’s hired by them, and they sound sincere at first so she’s trying her best to make things work with her coworkers and bosses, but over time she just kind of realizes that this place is shit and has no intention of changing. And then she moves into a line of work that’s much more fulfilling for her.

And what might that be? Well, I’m still deciding, but there’s a few career paths where I can see Sara being particularly happy:

Some sort of career in Environmental or Disability Justice. I’m not exactly sure why. It’s just vibes. I do think Sara is a person who cares deeply about people and causes, and both of those are areas where I can see her learning more at university and just finding a place that makes sense for her.

Helping people, especially other neurodivergent people, using some kind of animal therapy. Doesn’t have to be horses! Or maybe Sara will train service dogs or something. It’s possible Sara’s affinity for horses could translate over to other animals, and she could find a career path in that general direction.

Graphic novelist or picture book writer. We see Sara drawing in one scene in season 1, and for that reason, she’s always been someone who likes to draw in my head. We also know she’s a keen observer of human behavior and could have some interesting insights if she ever decided to write a story. I can see her doing memoir graphic novels with a similar tone to like, stuff by Marjane Satrapi or Maggie Thrash. Of course if the monarchy’s still around they might want to sue her for her honesty. But they shouldn’t.

What do you think? I can see lots of possibilities for Sara in the future!

A/N: Okay, first let me just say, HOLY SHIT, this is such a detailed ask! Thank you for being so specific as it really helps the matchup process! Secondly, I would like to say, OF COURSE YOU HAVE BEST ATTRIBUTES! You say so yourself, silly! You’re caring and considerate (always looking for consent, and giving people the benefit of the doubt), you’re hard-working (you try your best even though you’re clumsy and make mistakes often), and you’re extremely considerate, responsible, and self-aware (having this sense of duty to care for your family as they’ve cared for you in the past).

I know it can be challenging to believe in yourself, god knows I don’t all of the time. For you my Unconvinced Anon, I think your best matches are Halsin (BG3) and Hector (Castlevania)!

Your BG3 Matchup:

Halsin would be a great match for you! He’s kind and wise, and very soft-spoken. You’re extremely compatible as Halsin is fairly intuitive when it comes to feelings and relationships, so even if you are forgetful or misunderstood, it’s no matter.

Halsin is also very forward and direct in telling people how he feels and what he wants. Some people (and some game players) can find this to be offensive. But Halsin does not intend to offend or overstep. And should you tell him to please reel it in, he will gladly do so. You too mention how you are often unintentionally sarcastic and straightforward. Halsin is someone who greatly appreciates this level of honesty in a partner. He finds it preferable to those who would play games or beat around the bush with their feelings.

Halsin also likes your style. Druids tend to appreciate function over form in most that they do, and clothing is no exception. So long as you are comfortable, and covered enough to not break any public indecency laws, Halsin doesn’t care that you aren’t wearing flower skirts or embroidered coats. What works for you, works for him. Although yes, he still doesn’t see a big deal with people walking around naked. He’d fit right in at a nudist colony that’s for sure lol. He also rather enjoys your naughtier side. Gods know he certainly has one. And it’s always a comfort to find someone with an open mind surrounding such adult or perverse subjects as opposed to someone who would be judgemental and stick up their nose.

Halsin is also very understanding when it comes to physical boundaries. Yes, he would love to be intimate with you, as well as hold you or cuddle during the long cold nights. But he also understands that not everyone is as friendly to touch as he is, so he will always ask for permission before touching you or hugging or kissing you. And who knows? Maybe in time the two of you can work through baby steps to a level where you feel comfortable with him touching you. Don’t worry, however, Halsin will still make a point to check in with you first. However, Halsin does take a small issue with you not believing you have ‘best qualities’, as you said. He thinks you’re full of great qualities! He loves how excited you get when you talk about the latest historical romance novel you’ve read. Hector would be another wonderful match for you! He’s more on the quiet side, but once he develops a relationship with someone, he does open up and show off a more witty sort of dark-humored funny side.

In the early seasons, Hector is also rather naive, almost childlike in his understanding of the world and the figures around them. He takes everyone at face value, not bothering to wonder if there’s something unsaid lying just beneath a conversation or agreement’s surface. Of course, once he is tricked by Carmilla into betraying Dracula, much of that changes. Sure, the childlike wonder and innocence Hector has for all of his undead animal creations is still there, but he’s matured. He’s learned.

Hector would be a good match for you because he understands what it means to go through life not quite understanding what people are saying, and what’s more, being an outcast because of it. He will do his best to be direct/straightforward when talking to you because he knows you need it, and because he’s learned that when it comes to the people you love, honestly, however painful it may be in the short run, is the best policy in the long run. A temporary bruised pride or ego is nothing compared to the scar left by a former relationship that was ultimately built on lies.

Hector also has a very distinct fashion sense. I mean, have you seen his hair? He’s gorgeous with that hair and skin and he doesn’t mind that others know it. He likes your more relaxed style. In Dracula’s court, he and Issac were always under such pressure to look clean-cut and important. It’s nice to be able to relax and not worry about his manner of dress when you’re around.

And if anyone is touch starved, oh my god, it’s this man. Sure he had some experiences in the past, and then he spent a short while with Lenore, but it wasn’t the same. It didn’t mean what he wanted it to. It was all an illusion and a fleeting one at that. Hector doesn’t know what it means to feel a lover’s touch. He’s completely inexperienced in that department. He’s no stranger to sex, but what of softness and tenderness beyond that? Has he ever had one of those incredibly comforting bear hugs, the ones where both people wish they could stay there, holding onto one another for eternity? Has he ever sat next to his lover on the couch, their thighs just barely brushing up against one another, and felt safe, felt at home? Hector doesn’t know whether or not he’s touch-averse because touch is foreign to him. The two of you would get to learn together where each of your boundaries are, and how each of you would need to be touched to feel loved. The great bit is you’d be discovering all of that together.

I would also argue that early seasons Hector, and even later Hector is a hopeless romantic. Not necessarily in the lovey-dovey sort of way, but in the looking to the future with rose-colored-glasses sort of way. His vision for Dracula’s future was certainly much more lush than what Dracula suggested. And his view of summoning souls into corpses in his forge-mastery is also clouded by this sort of soft, glamourized view.

The other thing you have in common with Hector seems to be this recurring theme that you need to be or should be better for the people you love. Hector has a fair amount of guilt for doing what he did, with choosing to believe Carmilla over Dracula, with not understanding the true scope of either of the vampire’s plans. He feels like he let Dracula, Issac, vampire society, and humanity down. I can sort of hear a similar thing in your writing. Now, I don’t know the reason for you feeling this way, so I can’t relate it to Hector’s internal justification, but I can confidently say this: he understands, probably more than anyone, why you feel this way. He sees the way you shrug off his compliments, how you don’t seem to believe him when he says he’s proud of you and so happy he gets to share his second shot at life with you. He knows it will take time, but he won’t stop reminding you that, to him, you are beyond incredible. And he’s so unbelievably fortunate to have met you.

In the past humans have treated him horribly. They’ve been all the things you dislike: closed-minded, judgemental, hypocritical, superiorly indignant… They cast him out. But you, you’re so kind, and considerate, empathetic, and humble. You are living proof that humans can be more than cruel and closed off- you’re the best humanity has to offer. Hector can’t believe he almost condemned someone like you, and the other side of humanity that you represent, to death. Knowing you, he swears he will never make a mistake like that again: no ignorant group judgments from here on out.

Plus Hector is (in my opinion), an INTP. With you being an INFP, you’re both introverts who enjoy the quiet. The big difference is that you are an Intuitive Feeler, he’s an Intuitive Thinker, so he tends to be driven more by logic and facts rather than emotions. In some cases, this may result in Hector not quite understanding why you react to something because he’s looking at it from a distanced, scientific view. He may come off as critical at times because of this, but I believe his more recent experiences have taught him the importance of communication. As long as the two of you are willing, you should be able to talk these disagreements or misunderstandings out. It’s also great for him because you keep teaching him that some choices cannot be logically quantified, there’s no clear-cut rationale behind them. Hun you deserve a whole lot of love, and no one is more willing to provide it than Dammon!

Dammon has an affable personality - warm and easygoing to everyone he’s crossed paths with. It makes even some of the most hardened hearts melt like metal over a forge fire, so don’t be surprised if you find yourself warming up to him faster than you’d expect.

The first few times that the pair of you meet it’s understandable to be shy and quiet. He’ll respect that you may not be the most outgoing around someone you haven’t gotten the time to know. He’s happy to be the mediator for you; he’ll fill in the gaps with idle chatter as he works, prodding with the occasional curious question about yourself or your day if your comfortable. Honestly he’s content to simply exist in your space until those short, polite responses of yours begin to ease into something more genuine - something a little more you.

He admittedly feels proud when you begin to open up around him, since it’s a sign that you’re feeling more comfortable around him. It’s exciting seeing you acting more carefree and loud! The playfulness and sarcasm is a pleasant surprise for him. Dammon can sometimes be downright wicked, so if you’re in any playful kind of mood? You guys go together like a match and oil, much to the detriment of any friends in the vicinity. Plus, even if you don’t notice you’re being sarcastic, the snort and poorly concealed chuckle from the tiefling wherever he is becomes enough of an indication - he can’t help but get a little kick out of the confused look you give him till you clock onto why he’s so easily amused.

You say you’re untalented and not smart, but Dammon will be firm in insisting otherwise! The look on his face the first time you’d said it, so casually as though it were the truth - it genuinely left him speechless. He’d stop whatever he’s doing to move over to your side, taking your hands in his and tugging you so close like his touch will somehow convince you that he means it when he tells you that couldn’t be further from the truth. There's no missing the way you view yourself with a critical eye, so he delegates himself to professional encourager to balance that out - actually called himself that once and will actively do it again if it so much as gets a smile out of you. Not to mention it’s a wonderful excuse to shower you in praise every chance he gets; which with his penchant for encouraging words and teasing means you better get used to being on the receiving end of his endless affections.

Dammon’s a quick learner. Once he notices that you struggle with misunderstandings he tries to keep in mind to be a little more straightforward in conversation. If he notices in conversations with others that whoever’s talking has lost you with what they’re doing or saying, Dammon doesn’t think twice about subtly leaning in to fill you in on the blanks. He wants you to feel included and doesn’t want you feeling left out - he’s a considerate guy!

Say goodbye to being touch starved because this man is HERE. Dammon gets fidgety when he’s got nothing to work on; he’s so used to working with the heft of tools in his hands that they feel a little emptier without them. Before you two became a thing he’d bring some of his tinier passion projects to tinker with outside the forge, eager to tell you all about them since he doesn’t want you to mistakenly think he’s uninterested. After that though things are still the same, just that these projects have now been replaced by you. Honestly if he had his way he’d always want to be touching you in some way - and if you’re comfortable he will! His hands will always seek out yours for comfort, giving reassuring squeezes when he catches you overthinking.

Soft touches to your arms, along your back, wherever this tiefling can reach he’s there - there’s just so much of you to love! And when his hands are occupied his tail is right there, circling around your wrist or curling round your hip to keep you in his space. Be sure to give him plenty of love too! Communication comes into play a lot here - Dammon will reassure you every time that he wants whatever affection you’re comfortable to give, but he appreciates that you check in beforehand; it’s a sweet gesture.

Let him listen to your music! He’s got a tendency to get any kind of music stuck in his head even after the first listen; Alfira’s tunes back at the Grove always had him tapping out the notes with clawed fingers along his workspace. Cutest thing is he doesn’t even know he’s doing it - please point out that he’s tapping out a tune or humming along to one of the songs you’d shown him under his breath; he goes copper up to his ears whenever you mention it.

Enjoys hearing about all of your interests, but the pair of you really hit it off over the books. On the road there wasn’t much time or luxury to expand on his reading aside from the few things Dammon brought with him; and books that could be carried on the move were hard to come by. Now that he’s settled in Baldur’s gate he’s set on spending more time doing stuff he enjoys - he’s more than earned the rest at least. And what better way to spend that time than being cuddled up into your side, content to read either alongside you or while you’re enjoying your other hobbies. Dammon’s a sucker for any kind of domestic intimacy like this, and he’ll share the books that he has with you if you’ll do the same.

That being said, there's no way he’s giving up that one book in his room easily, at least not until you two have been together for a while. Though, that resolve lasts about as long as it takes for you to kiss the guy till he can’t think straight.

Needless to say, Dammon’s certainly smitten with you.

I think irl and in canon ppl are baffled by what Bugs sees in Daffy, as if Daffy’s Mr. Wrong.

But…. It’s kinda switched once you think about it??

Yes, Daffy’s flaws tend to outshine his better qualities, but his friendliness and cheerfulness is overlooked. Like, he’s best friends with one of the most temperamental yet patient everyman there is! Daffy’s selfish, but he knows how to be part of a team. In both the meta and literal sense, he has the unparalleled ability to slips into various roles to accommodate a dynamic, and still be true to himself (Duck Twacy, Duck Dogers, Porky’s Husband friend or enemy, Danny Boy) His affectionate gestures are quite sincere compared to the rest of the tune cast. (and again, as a rule of thumb any sincerity is offset by a gag, so take that with a grain of salt) Bugs on the other hand, operates in a way that teamwork or camaraderie is out of the picture. Without trying, he dominates. He’s unreachable in ways that make it hard to be friendly with him, or engage in conversation without him (somehow) talking down to an audience. Have you noticed he has that air about him?? Even with his peers, he’s always on a pedestal. And Bugs has never been cast as anyone but himself… he’s inflexible.

Bugs can be at once, affectionate and manipulative. He’s very hard to read, and his few positive relationships make it unclear when he’s being honest or not. That’s not to say Bugs can’t be kind, generous or polite, I think compared to Daffy (and most tunes) he exhibits better etiquette. He’s more charming by design. Daffy, for better or worse, has no filter for his motivations or deeper emotions. He’s supposed to be relatable in that sense.

So what does Daffy see in Bugs?? Longtime WB producer and director Tony Cervone has stated multiple times that Bugs finds Daffy entertaining, his unpredictability fascinates him. (and further cements the insinuation that team ups have been initiated by Bugs, i.e, he pursues)

So, I think for Daffy, ironically, it’s complicated. It seems what draws him to Bugs, are also what he despises him for. Ok, the elephant in the room: Bugs models the qualities Daffy lacks. Stardom, adulation, effortless appeal, knowing what to say and when (tact is something Daffy desperately needs). It’s very easy to look up to Bugs, and as I said a couple posts ago, he once and (kinda??) still does. But, Daffy also has the hidden ability to being people to his level, and after spending enough time around Bugs I think he recognizes he’s not as untouchable as he (and his audience) makes himself out to be. Bugs is the type of person who masks imperfection well. Fortunately, Daffy’s drawn to mystery (in canon and in his roles in shorts), so I can see him quietly trying to investigate the parts of Bugs that never reaches public eyes, like a case study. So, is this a positive or negative draw?? it depends on Bugs’ attitude and Daffy’s mood. I guess it can be said that the fascination is mutual, Bugs is entertained by Daffy and Bugs gets under Daffy’s skin.

And of course, we CAN’T ignore the surface level of Bugs’ appeal to Daffy. Bugs’ generosity gives Daffy many opportunities to exercise his materialism and lavish lifestyle. He gets free dinners, Bugs covers all their vacations, and (a big plus for Daffy) he doesn’t mind relinquishing treasures and fortune when they come across it. Don’t call Daffy a gold digger don’t call Daffy a gold digger don’t

So yeah, I went off on a tangent but I hope I cleared up the misconception that Daffy’s Mr. Wrong, both of them—Bugs even more so— are the ‘odd’ choice.

This clear up doesn’t help paint their relationship in a healthy light. There’s ulterior motives and mutual selfishness, but I believe there’s never a fundamental misunderstanding of the other. If they were both more introspective, they’d find to their horror no one understands them the way they do each other. For two stars with excruciatingly large egos, that’s probably the best and worst quality of their weird relationship, ‘being known’, haha.

Are you named after anyone? I've heard this story a buncha times so I'm pretty sure my mom got my birth name from a singer. She heard it on tv and liked it a lot, back then it wasn't a very common name in my country. My names as of now are 50/50, Tom didn't come from anyone but Teddie was 100% something I picked up from Teddie p4, hahah.

When was the last time you cried? Last Sunday when I rewatched ep 11 of Bucchigiri. especially during the part where Zabu got the absolute shit beaten out of him. Finn came home right after that and doesn't understand that one of the big points of media is to reach you emotionally, so he thought it was weird that I was crying.

Do you have kids? Nah, but I'd like to some day, if fate allows it.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? Not nearly as much as I used to, because most of my friends are autistic and don't get it most of the time, so I just end up upsetting them whenever I do use it. Being sincere is much more fun anyways.

What sports do you play? None, but I would love to swim or ice skate (or, hell, do some skiing). Neither are really possible for me atm, unfortunately (do you have any idea how expensive skiing is btw. it's crazy). When I was a kid I did gymnastics and streetdance, I also played tennis briefly as a teen, but had to quit due to a lack of people in my age group playing at that club.

What’s the first thing you notice about people? I usually take note of how someone dresses and does their hair. Ever notice how dull most people's clothes are? I like seeing styles that stand out.

What’s your eye colour? Brown, it's not a particularly dark shade, but I wouldn't call it hazel (my dad has hazel eyes though).

Scary movies or happy endings? This ones a little... vague? But I guess if I had to choose... I wouldn't. I don't care about genre or what type of emotional impact it has, as long as it's coherent and entertaining in its own right. (That doesn't mean I don't care about quality btw. I literally just. watch anything and judge it for what it is.)

Any special talents? I'm a boss at packing in groceries quickly and efficiently. Not a talent that everyone possesses, I've learned (sorry Minke <3).

Where were you born? Netherlands babeyyy ✌ North-Holland to be a bit more precise. I lived next to a dyke (not that kind) so I got the real under-sea-level experience. I still live around the area but not in my hometown anymore.

What are your hobbies? Drawing, (writing?), translation and the nuances that come with it, watching movies, tv shows, animes, cartoons, playing video games, reading books, comics and manga. (and then talking about cinematography, parallels, themes, symbolism and the likes) I also collect soda cans (+ the occasional glass bottle), candy packaging, and anime figurines + other merch.

Do you have any pets? My little baby Jody (dog) who I've had since I was 7 years old! She's about to have her sweet 16 on the 23rd (that's in 2 weeks!) she's getting blind and deaf as hell but she's still lively and sweet as ever <3 And my sweet Tiger of course, who's of undetermined age (around 8/9 the vet said) and currently living with my good friend Minke and their 2 other cats (he does not like them) and dog (he is ok with her). He's not with me rn because my mom's bf is allergic, unfortunately.

How tall are you? 1 meter 59. that single centimeter haunts me. I would've also preferred an additional 10 as well.

Favourite subject in school? Art history used to my favourite in high school, and when I was in film school for a brief period I loved film history. I just love anything pertaining to the arts and it's history that involves analysing and comparing it to other time periods, really.

Dream job? I wanna be someone's househusband and make a buncha weird art on the side. Not kidding btw. But if I had to choose a more conventional dream job... it had to be something in the creative or design industry, otherwise I'll probably die of unhappiness.

“Do you mind if your work gets seen by minors?” Is actually a question I’ve been asked a lot because I write and draw saucy works and the accountability has seemingly been shifted from legal guardians onto randoms like me. They say it takes a village to raise a child after all. This leads easily into the subjects of censorship, human sexuality, responsibility in the digital age, parasocial boundaries, society and individuality, proliferation of paywalls that rope off the internet and free flow of information… and so on. So many subjects, so little time, and yet so intersectional. I see it often, the ubiquitous “minors dni”, even on people’s pages that don’t have explicit material; I’m guessing it’s because people don’t want the headache, but any dni is as good as a line drawn in the sand, a magic circle where all your morals live, until the wind blows it away. Have you ever been asked “are you over the age of 18?” I pressed that button just the other day and just as easily as I had when I was a minor. “Do you mind if your work gets seen by minors?” is the question I’m asked, like my saucy work is a landmine for someone to accidentally step on and to which I can’t help but imagine a different question: “Do you mind if a minor seeks it out?”*

I’m not anyone’s parent and it is not my responsibility to take care of a stranger’s welfare. You have to understand that the internet is a grey place. I don’t know who’s looking. I’d rather not know.**

I tag my smut and label it with a 🔞 with the implicit meaning being don’t look at things you’re not supposed to be looking at. I won’t ever know for certain if a minor looked, pressing the proverbial “yes I’m over the age of 18”, unless that minor was a fool and broadcasted their vulnerability to the world at large, interacting with my unsafe works knowing that their profile reflected that same perceived lack of impulse control. Goodness, if they were smart, they’d be liars.

Even so, I was young once; I lived like the puritanical ideal while also having seen society’s forbidden knowledge [sex things, oh my!]. No matter how well someone hides the cookies, someone will always climb the fridge to get them, and if I had fallen off the fridge, no one should blame the baker. And no one should tell the baker that they should stop baking, especially in their own bakery.

We exist in a moment in time when even payment processors have a say in what kind of content is distributed and how that affects art as a whole, eating into adult spaces [recently the Gumroad nsfw policy leaving nsfw artists reeling] and especially encrouching on queer spaces. Imagine the amount of chargebacks various nsfw gets because sex is so vilified in society that people have to panic when caught oh I'm really not into big anime boobs dw, oh i didnt actually commission this nsfw artist and waste 20 hours of their precious time and labour, oh i need my money back because...; I’m sure the money system abhors it for a money reason, but the root of it is the proliferation of Protect the Children™ used by puritanical opportunists. You the individual affect the wider culture as a whole through the groups you belong to, even if you don't intend to.

I’m asking for people to be smart, to think of their own well-being, but to also think of where they draw the line. Filter the word “smut” and “nsft” and "suggestive" and you should be safe on my page even though the sauce is rare in my Tumblr. This goes for everyone this applies to and not just minors.

Ayo, why do you keep drawing renders of "skinny fat" characters? I know you intend on drawing them chubby because I see you comment they are and then proceed to draw them in future sketches as heavyset, but renders of these characters pre brandshock will be really thin with ribs showing but have random stomach pudge and fat rolls that shouldn't exist if a character is thin enough to have ribs showing. It's honestly kinda fatphobic, sincerely a fat person.

this do be a little wacky tho ....... i can very easily explain things as

1) my older renders are simply Lower Quality and im not gonna magically draw perfect anatomy all the time because i also draw wackass limbs a lot. i'm redoing a lot of renders because i aint happy with the bodies of the old ones

2) theyre simply aliens and animals/monsters aren't going to have human proportions ? like that's not a cop-out that's a genuine fact like theyre all wildly different animalistic aliens who gain fat in different ways than us

3) there ARE also other fat folks with bones showing because fat can form in different ways due to different situations/bodies, and it's a LITTLE wacky to assume all fat people look the same as you and not take different body types and health situations into account

4) ..those are usually musculatures on my newer renders and not bones because, again, i am not a Perfect Artist

i usually reference ANIMAL fat for my aliens because they physically aren't human, and with like. cats for example i typically see a pronounced difference between the chest and abdominal sections even with chubbier cats? a bit?

again though, my art aint perfect and i'm always trying to improve.... automatically just accusing someone of being fatphobic for example because their art is inconsistent is a REAL easy way to make unneeded enemies instead of inspiring true growth and improvement in other artists. honestly, i'd just try to take a chill pill and try to teach others rather than be on the attack 24/7 yknow? i see so much negativity and kneejerk vitriol for situations that could so easily be solved with a level conversation

1. Are you named after anyone?

In terms of my deadname yes- I was named after my mother, and it was (as often is for spanish families) in combination with my middle name, which is after my grandmother.

My current name isn't after a family member, but has a symbolic relation to my deadname.

2. When was the last time you cried?

Maybe a month ago because I was worried I hurt my girlfriend's feelings :'D

3. Do you have kids?

Nope. I like kids, but no desire to have my own.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

I think I used to be more so. These days it tends to come out only in two ways: if I am currently with someone I know very well and who knows I am not being mean-spirited, or if I am with a stranger and they are being an ass lol.

5. What sports do you play/have played?

I was a very active kid and would do all the sports! Though my favorites were soccer, and martial arts, tae kwon do and shinkendo. I have been meaning to get back into martial arts when I have more time.

Mercs x Reader Who Speaks Japanese/Is From Japan

A/n: Sorry if it seems I'm stereotyping, I'm not. I did a little bit of research on the internet. If there's anything incorrect, please let me know so I can correct it!

Scout:

The minute you walked right through that door and greeted everyone in your native language, Scout dropped his comic and pushed everyone aside. He had been reading manga and watching anime and was excited to meet someone who could translate for him. He followed you around, begging for you to teach him. At first, he was annoying. He wouldn’t stop begging. Eventually, he became sincere. Reluctantly, you agreed. He was a fast learner, impressing you.

He shared with you his manga collection and animes he was watching. You even helped read it in both English and Japanese for him. The others thought you weird, since you two now switched back and forth in both languages. Of course, Scout got mad at them. You had to calm him down.

The administrator allowed you all to have one week off. Scout decided to visit Japan, where he impressed plenty of people with his perfect Japanese. He even impressed your family, who was also there at the same time. They recommended you date him which caused the both of you to turn red.

Soldier:

When you greeted everyone, his first reaction was “WHAT?!?” Or “Nani?!?” as you later taught him. It was strange. He had never heard Japanese before. You gladly taught him some words, which he used on the battlefield. He used them in the wrong context, confusing you whenever you overheard him. He didn’t listen to your lessons on using words correctly even after two months of trying to teach him.

It took a while for Soldier to make sense of the out-of-context words he was crying out on the battlefield and took it upon himself to properly learn Japanese. On the way, he studied battle tactics samurai used. He learned that they were influenced by Sun Tzu, the man he knew herded two of every animal on a boat and beat the heck out of them, and immediately sought you out to train with you.

It was good training, both physically and educational wise. Soldier finally learned proper Japanese and worked hard to perfect it. He got it right and stopped using words out of context so now whenever you heard him on the battlefield, it made sense.

Pyro:

Pyro didn’t understand any languages at all, but was glad to at least learn some Japanese so you could have someone to talk to. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out with the mask. This loving merc taught you the language of “mmph” instead. To put it simply, he talked to you through the mask. You never knew what language he was speaking but you made sense of it.

To make it easier to communicate with him, you learned sign language, both in English and Japanese. Pyro was quick to learn it. He tried to make “Mmmph” Sign Language a thing, but it didn’t work out as well as he thought. You both communicated on the battlefield, using your hands to sign commands and messages to one another. It was used a lot for secret ambushes Pyro helped you conduct.

Pyro likes to draw. He watched the Godzilla film series with you every Saturday night. He once drew a tiny, adorable Godzilla fighting Kong and turned it into a whole story. He predicted the events in the movie that would be filmed later in the future. Of course, it wasn’t chibi like he had described it. For Halloween, the two of you went as Godzilla and his son. He might have scared some children in the neighborhood.

Heavy:

The Administrator set up a virtual meeting for you to meet. Heavy recognized you spoke Japanese. He did everything in his power to make sure you felt right at home. He did some research before your arrival, reading about customs and how things are done so he wouldn’t make a bad impression. He wanted your first day at the base to be a good start.

The first day you approached the base was a bit chaotic. Heavy was yelling at Soldier for not being prepared. There was a food fight that stopped the minute you entered through the door. Heavy calmed down and showed you around. He learned a bit of Japanese as well. It was a bit hard, but you helped him perfect it.

Heavy was a great sushi chef. His temaki rolls were always big since his hands were big naturally. If you ever got homesick, Heavy would borrow either Engineer’s truck or Sniper’s van, and drive you to the nearest telephone booth so you could call your family. He was caring from the very beginning and you loved that.

Demo:

Eyelander is what brought him to you. He claimed to want to be in the hands of a master who could wield him with precise strength and agility. When the Administrator introduced you, she listed several abilities you had, including you were skilled with a sword. Eyelander was impressed and tired of the way Demoman wielded him.

Demo was mad that Eyelander would rather be with someone else. So he snuck out of the base and followed you around. He was amazed at how well you could wield Eyelander. You were like a modern day samurai, slicing the leaves that fell down the tree with Eyelander! He was even more impressed when you caught him hiding and accidentally sliced his eyepatch. He didn’t mind.

Demo showed you his samurai cosmetic items. He knew they weren’t authentic or anything, but he considered them quite fascinating. He even lent you his items to wear out on the battlefield. In exchange for the kindness he showed you, you decided to take Demo on as your apprentice. After four months of training, he could finally slice leaves with ease.

Engineer:

Engineer was the first to greet you. He didn’t know you didn’t speak English until later. After that, he worked to create a translator to help him communicate with you. Eventually, he learned Japanese. He wasn’t fluent but he could speak full sentences that made sense.

He heard of Japan’s advancements in technology and wondered if you knew anything. To impress you, he built a bullet train in the backyard. Scout ended up running into it. You told him of technological advancements. Engineer took some of these ideas and put them in his own inventions. You even helped create an invisible sentry, using mirrors, lighting, and some of Spy’s stolen watch pieces. You two never saw the sentry again. And Spy got mad.

As a new project, you worked together to create a hovertrain. It took forever, but you got it down. It was faster than light and could get to places fast. It floated two feet off the ground and it required a stepstool to get on. Engineer let you be the first to take the train for a spin. Of course, you should have taken it easy because Scout hit the train again on reentry.

Medic:

He was a bit confused about your arrival. Wasn’t nine enough? He didn’t think ten would help his team win and ignored you a lot. If you called out for him, he would wait until you were out of health points to save you. He was a bit rude. So you confronted him and scolded him. He didn’t really understand what you were saying, but he made sense of it.

For a couple of nights, he couldn’t sleep well, thinking about how he hurt you. In the middle of the night, he decided to talk to you. You were half asleep and yelled at him. The next morning, he tried again. This time you listened and accepted his apology.

To try to help you get adjusted to your new surroundings, Medic decided to help you learn English (and German on the side). He claimed to do it out of the goodness of his heart, which was true. He also found out you had an interest in medicine and decided to teach you the ropes. You slowly but surely began to understand everything and learned it all. Now, anyone strapped to the operating table would listen to a conversation happening in three different languages.

Sniper:

There was a two week’s notice of your arrival. Everyone received a package on your information. Sniper wasn’t trying to be rude when you met him for the first time. He didn’t really understand, but he wanted to be polite and nodded to every word you spoke. You took a liking to him immediately. After returning to his camper, he screamed into his pillow for being such an idiot for not reading the package.

He tried to make it up to you. He turned to Spy for help and he did, in exchange for not getting jarate’d for a week straight. After two weeks after your arrival and lessons with Spy, Sniper was ready to reintroduce himself to you. Two weeks prior to that, you turned to Spy for help in learning English. You wanted to easily communicate with Sniper. So he agreed to teach you.

You both laughed when you found out you turned to Spy for help. You got to reintroduce yourselves and have a good start together. One thing you both liked was the flying squirrel. You thought it was cute, Sniper thought it was cool. Your teammates watched as Sniper talked to you about the squirrel, explaining everything in English and Japanese. By the end of the day, the flying squirrel was your spirit animal.

Spy:

Spy was actually very fluent in Japanese. That was good for you, you had someone to talk to. He spoke it perfectly. He knew every custom. He showed you around the battlefields, the bases, and even Mann Co. He was always by your side, even during battle, translating for you and starting conversations with the others.

He had visited Japan before and was glad to share with you photos he had taken and souvenirs he bought. You also had photos and shared them with him. It was something you two bonded over. Another thing you two bonded over was drinking. Sometimes Demo would come over to try out wine and sake, but Spy would end up kicking him out.

After nearly a year of staying in Teufort, you got homesick. And then sick. Spy was very very concerned for your health. In the middle of the night, without the Administrator’s permission, he carried you all the way to his secret runway. When you woke up, you were in a different room. As a surprise, Spy took his private jet and flew the both of you back home. That man deserved a kiss.

Pauling:

It was easy for you two to communicate. She learned Japanese on a previous mission and decided to keep learning it. She had a feeling she needed to learn it. It came in handy and she was glad to continue learning it.

On missions, when targeting the culprits/victims, she confronts them while you were hidden somewhere at a good range where you could snipe them. Over the earpiece, she lets you know when to shoot with a codeword in Japanese. The culprit/victim wouldn’t know what it meant and then they were dead.

The Administrator felt it was good to keep you around. Pauling was happy and less stressed out. Like Scout, Pauling owned a manga collection. After a successful mission, you would get together in front of the T.V and read. She would read it first in English, then you would read it again in Japanese.

I’ll be honest, he gets a bit of a kick out of your brutal honesty, and he may or may not like it when you’re a bit mean.

He most definitely turned the charm on during his first interaction with you. Through your brief conversation he became intrigued by you, and he made sure you knew it too.

Whether you were originally interested in him or not, you find yourself enjoying the time you spend with him. Of course, it’s hard not to when he puts so much effort in his interactions with you.

He somehow, some way, always finds you. Not in a creepy way, but whenever things are winding down for you and you’re nearing the end of the day, he always appears.

He never shows up empty handed either. A bouquet of flowers, a cute stuffed animal with a huge round head and adorable beady eyes, you name it. He puts forth the utmost effort into serenading you and showing you his intentions are sincere.

You’re a bit surprised, and so is he. He’s not someone who easily finds himself smitten with someone, but something about you just draws him in.

He loves to tease you, to the point of being borderline annoying, just so you’ll be forthright with him. A bit masochistic of him but he doesn’t care.

One day, as he was visiting you and you were taking a bit long to get ready, he pursued through some of your personal things out of curiosity. He happened upon one of your stories, and he was surprised by how gruesome it was.

When you caught him reading your story you were worried that he would look at you differently and hate it, so you tried to get him away from it, but to your surprise his eyes were shining brightly like a child(e)’s (get it?) on Christmas morning.

Going forward, he loves to read whatever you have to write. He’ll always provide very constructive feedback as well, including his favorite moments.

He’s very good at keeping a level head and soothing your worries whenever you panic over a mistake you made. He honestly adores you the way you are, and he’ll make sure you learn to adore and love yourself just as you are. That’s the girl he fell in love with after all, and he wants you to love her too.

He’s very happy to just sit beside you as you talk his ear off, if he isn’t the one talking your ear off first.

He’s a HUGE family man, and he’s very happy that you like family too!

Asks you to play the flute for him on numerous occasions. You feel a bit shy under his intense gaze; especially with the way his blue orbs soften as a fond smile tugs at the corner of his lips.

Whenever he’s with you, his lifeless eyes gain a little shine to them. You both have a very cute dynamic together, and he’s over the moon for you.

You’re over the moon for him too, but you can’t tell him that without acting like it’s the complete opposite. (He loves that about you, too.)

The sun has long since completed its descent, and Childe rests his head on your shoulder as you continue with what you’re doing.

“What did you say their backstory was again?” He asks you, very well remembering every minute detail you gushed to him about your original character already.

You turn to look at him, and a small frown settles on your pretty lips. He smirks to himself at your exasperated expression, but your eyes give away your true feelings as they shine with delight.

“I’ll tell you one more time, but if you can’t remember after this then you clearly have a bit of a memory problem.” You sigh, feigning as if retelling your character’s origin story is a big hassle, before you delve right in.

Your voice is very animated and excited as you continue to design your character as you speak, and Childe’s eyes never leave your face.

The smile never leaves his face. Truly, he only asked you just so he could hear your voice.

Unfortunately for him it seems that you’ve caught on to his little ploy. Your voice slowly trails off as your expression morphs into a glare accompanied by a frown of disapproval.

Good thing for Chidle, a well timed kiss to your lips turns that frown upside down.

You find yourself laughing when his kisses move from your lips to all over your face. You truly love this dork, you just wish he didn’t drive you up the wall so much.

Maybe, just maybe, that’s something you love about him too.
