Well I made this fanart based on Mythology, it is nothing canon, it is just fan art with Greek mythology. Actually, the curse that the goddess Athena put on her priestess Medusa always seemed very strange to me. So for this fan art it occurred to me that what if it wasn't Athena who put the curse, if not someone who had her energy? , since Ashtar being a being the twin ray of Athena I imagine that he has the same energy and also does not stop being a man and perhaps when trying to seduce the priestess she rejected him and believing that Poseidon managed to seduce the young woman, which that he couldn't do, so he got so mad at the girl that he cursed her so that no one else could see her beauty.
However, Athena did not find out about such a fact and she knew that one of her priestesses was said to be more beautiful than her but she never knew what happened to her, but she was very happy to know that Meduza was no longer competing with her , Athena received the head of Meduza as a gift from the hero Perseus since he used it on his shield because the head of Meduza still beheaded had magical properties
well as I said it was something that occurred to me for this fan art it's nothing canon it's just fan art with a little bit of mythology
According to mythology Medusa in Mythology was the only mortal woman of the three gorgons, that is, the three daughters of Forcis and Ceto. She is the Gorgon par excellence and in addition to this, she was the most beautiful of all, but she was denoted by the goddess Athenea, so she decided to become a priestess of the temple dedicated to her, Such was her physical attractiveness and purity that a God as Poseidon fell in love with her, however, she resisted the attempts of seduction of the god, psoeidon had a personal quarrel with the goddess Athenea and therefore the idea of sposeer her priestess became an obsession, so tired of to be rejected by Medusa, the god decides to forcefully force her, desperate, Medusa runs to the temple of Athenea, Poseidon grabs the young man and possesses her in the same temple, in front of the statue of the Goddess Athenea, then, after the violation of Athena appears enraged and decides to cruelly punish Medusa,
for the Goddess,  punishing poseidon was not right since she considered her act to be of the nature of the entities males
but I consider Medusa guilty for suppurately seducing Poseidon, and bringing dishonor to the temple and to the Goddess herself, Athenea curses Medusa, transforming her into a soulless monster, with large fangs, metallic hands and eyes filled with a light capable of petrifying everyone. to look at them. Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, envied Medusa's beautiful mane and, therefore, removed it and replaced it with snakes.
In this way, all the natural beauty of Medusa was transformed and turned into a true monster that could only live in the most distant lands, next to Hades or the Underworld.
In addition, anyone who saw this woman in her eyes would be immediately petrified, Medusa, was persecuted by brave warriors who were her head as a trophy, but all of them were turned into stone

Bathory - Hammerheart
Spotify
Tumblr media
Ett till Bathory album, en till målning. Den här gången Hammerheart, som pryds av Frank Dicksees The Funeral of a Viking.
“Song to Hall up High” bryter av innan resterande två metallåtar, här gör Qourthon sin starkaste insats rensång.
Hans arv lever vidare.
‘Northern wind take my song up high. To the hall of glory in the sky. So its gates shall greet me open wide. When my time has come to die.’
