#our pond thawed so i sat beside the water today and watched the fish #i wish everyone as beautiful and peaceful a moment as that today ♡ #i dont have a koi pond btw judt a farm pond that a neighbor put goldish in like twenty years ago #they thrived tho and they're pretty like koi fish #im planning to add water lilies to it this year and maybe some other pretty ornamental plants around it idk #also a bench hopefully bc rn you have to sit in an uncomfy rock lol #anyway #still a nice place to hang out im just planning to make it nicer when i have the money for landscaping #im considering adding some actual koi to it bc i read they can coexist w goldfish really well bc they're both carp #but idk i assume they eat more so maybe they would outcompete the goldslfish #also they eat the baby goldfish so maybe not :( #they should crossbreed tho #i think #so maybe i'll just grt one or two koi and see what happens #anywayyy #they're so pretty and peaceful to watch 😌 #my only complaint is its a bit of a hike to the pond #either like five minutes down a suuuuper steep hill or twice as long walking around the hill and back up by the road which is less steep #also you cant really see the pond from the house bc its far away and surrounded by dense brush #alas #these are good problems to have tho #and for safety reasons its good actually that the pond is far from the house and a bit annoying to get to #bc little kids could def have a terrible accident if it was just in the yard or something #bc its really deep #im not the best w these emojis but i wanted to make something cute

trying out a new type of watercolour paper so dave gets to be my guinea pig

#art #traditional art #watercolour #oc art #ocs #oc group: dave #oc: dave #im trying out some of the fluid student grade stuff. i like their fluid 100 fully cotton stuff but if i can find a non 100% cotton paper #that works well with my painting style my wallet would appreciate it LOL so far it seems good! #i paint kinda weird because i hate lifting so much i dont do it and i hate when it accidentally happens #its a technique that has a lot of uses but none for me HJFDHBFSKD if i make a mistake and i dont wipe it away fast enough with my finger #then its just there now. it was meant to be LOL but yeah i dont do lifting so i get like #irrationally angry when im trying to layer something and it lifts. which is always a problem i have with watercolour paper thats not 100 #cotton. and also for some reason the mixed media paper i use does well with layering too so i like it #but if i can find a nice thick not as wrinkly cellulose paper that lets me layer that would be very nice hJFJDKJFD #but i'll need to to test out this paper more. its promising it let me layer pretty well with daves skin (tho the shading is a little light) #(but thats because i put too much water in the mix RIP) and it seems the colours that are supposed to stain arent lifting which is good #(so many watercolour papers ive used have made my most staining of staining pigments lift which always bugs me LOL) #but we shall see!

ill be skinny. it will happen. ive been trying for so long now. once it was just trying to eat less and be smaller but not much real focus on my physical appearance. now its all about that. 11 years of my ed and 7 years of wanting what i want now. i dont live with my parents anymore. i have more control. i will achieve it.

there was a time where id eat 300-700 consistently. ill get that back. i will.

#most of the years ive had an ed i had no access to a scale so it was very jard to track progress #maybe i did lie my ass off and fool ppl around me into thinking its actually healthier for me to have a scale bc ill restrict worse without #one which is half true. not that kts anyones right to make that choice at this point. at least not in 2 months when im 18 its not #part of the problem im having is i wanna be small but i have so little muscle that ill have to be very dangerously underweight to look even #close to how i want. many peoples ugws are under that line. mine was once. before i learned that its genuinely very very dangerous #and a lot of the people who look the way i wanna look are only just below that line which is where id like to be #they look that way bc they have more muscle. most ppl cant maintain a bmi of 14 or less for that long. eventually your body freaks out #ppl use instances like eugenia coonie as proof that you can actually do it but like. most peoples bodies wont hold out that long #and many of the ppl in thinspo pics eother only maintained it for a short bit before gaining or getting really sick or they weighed more #and had more muscle. and like. my goal isnt to be all bone. i dont wanna push it that far. bony people arent physically nice to hold anyway #i just wanna be light enough that somwone cpuld carry me and people might view me in a certain way #i wanna be seen as cute and fragile and shy and like. young and sweet. ots hard to explain exactly what i want peopel see see me like but i #want when people look at pictures or videos of me for them to think i look sweet and wanna be gantle and nice to me #and when i walk around places instead of seeing an awkward weirdo they see a timid cute girl whos really tiny and pretty #i know ill never be that but. maybe if i lose enough weight and dont have much acne and leave my hair down then maybe i can come close

#im watching a video about wario land music -> 'the bizarre music and sound design of wario land 4' by geno7 #good video so far! i like this guys stuff. he talked a bit about how they did some of the sound effects for warios voice #a very like. chopped and remixed sample style of doing his vocal lines. which is very cool 1) because it saves a bit of #precious space on that gba cartridge BUT ALSO 2) it just sounds cool and interesting stylistically #and man sometimes trying to keep a file size down really does give way for some really interesting stuff #on my own personal interests in games i ADORE rpg makers rtp and how people can find creative uses for it #i love that a bunch of games can draw from the same asset pool as one install on ur computer #no bloating your hardrive with a bunch of copies of the same assets - its just already here! #and from a developers perspective i love when they reuse old assets from other games in new weird ways #some small visual novel companies will reuse backgrounds and other assets #altho i dont mind a bit of bloat with VNs since a big draw can be the big pretty images and big pretty sounds #but its still cool when people find ways to get creative with space saving. and from a players perspective its also nice #space is cheap nowadays. but its not Free. we can swallow terabytes whole with micro sds and everything #but a lot of players dont get the chance or ability to upgrade their internal memory that often. so i think being considerate of filesize i #very important. and thats not even getting into the download bandwidth limits - a lot of people all across north america can only get like #internet from 1 provider and that 1 provider often likes to upcharge and limit shit because they can #we might live in a future where a lot of powerful technology exists. but access to that tech is another story #so remember the filesize. remember the filesize. #dies in your arms

#[cherry on top] #recently ive been watching this yter called the librarian do a minecraft letsplay while doing art schoolwork #cuz i like having stuff in the bg to listen to #and its pretty nice :) #very nice voice and also due to how the commentary is done i dont actually have to look at the video itself much #to understand whats going on #also the minecraft world itself is running on a mod called 'from the fog' which basically just adds herobrine back into the game #but not like. in a really obvious way #more like 'you see him in the corners of your vision /sometimes/ and hes not really in the way #but hes there for long enough that its unnerving' kinda way #yknow. so it adds that new element in as well #anyways. fun watch. all of the videos so far are an hour long each but its entertaining enough so i can sit through the whole thing ^.^

#so uh. medical tw #so I suspect I may have had a (very minor!) seizure #I've been sick and I started laughing into some intense coughing and that's happened before #but it kind of. ticked over to a level of intensity I'm not used to and I'm not sure I was even coughing at that point? #it felt really weird and I was really disoriented for a bit #normally its 'I cough a lot and its very intense and I get a sharp headache as part of that' but this was all out of order #The headache was much later and I sort of... quit? like bluescreened for real? for about 30s based on context #anyway it might've been it might not've been but the event happened and I'm pretty shaken #though at the moment I seem to be okay. assuming a second seizure doesn't happen I have no reason to seek immediate medical attention #I'm just rattled and have a pretty intense headache #the only other problem is that I'm 2 for 4 on responses being 'Well I don't think you had a seizure' from people who weren't THERE #(I was in a voice call but home alone) and I'm a bit upset about that. like I know it COULD have been anything but I'm rattled! #like now is NOT the time to argue about what it was or wasn't! #anyway if you've read this far can I humbly request some acknowledgement? just like. that I exist. #feeling a bit out of my skin and that would be real nice kthx
