Familial Headcanons.

Some headcanons I have thought of over time, and will develop more as time goes on. More will be added and possibly compiled into a google docs. // @sorrowssinger

Thrain II and his wife had three children: Thorin, Frerin and Dis. Thorin is the eldest by 6 years ( between him and Frerin ), and there are a few more years added between himself and Dis.

Out of the three, Dis is the only one that has had any children; Fili and Kili.

Just like Fili and Kili's closeness, Thorin had a closeness with Frerin at one point. Being the older sibling, he had felt a sense of needing to protect his brother. Granted, this was not needed but in his mind Thorin felt this was different.

Thorin had taught Frerin much of what he knew as far as fightIng and defending - this would come in handy in later years.

Journal Entries || Open!

I miss him. Still. I feel like I shouldn't, considering, but...I do. A lot.

It doesn't help that everywhere I go, something reminds me of him. Walking the halls of the fortress, the training grounds, roaming the valley or the desert wastes and the temple. Even beyond the boundaries of the valley I can't escape the memories. I guess it's a testament to the amount of history we have. It's both beautiful and tragic. Heart warming and heart shattering all at once.

What a fool I am.

Still...I can't help but wonder how things would have played out differently if we found some way to work together. If I had been able to speak with him instead of his mothers capturing me. Maybe we could have found some kind of compromise. We were both passionate, and I will always believe we could have done great good for the Gerudo together. Knowing what I do now...that the Triforce is real...would that have changed my mind? I saw how powerful he became with it...if we joined that the full might of our army...if we had some plan...could it have turned out differently?

As I said...What a delusional fool I am.

I'm just gonna use Toba for this.

He has been referred to by his middle name, Toba, but it's uncommon. Typically, those people are trying to avoid thinking about him being "a Ganondorf."

Though he's not as susceptible as some of the other Boarbloods before him, Ganondorf still can't handle the cold that well. He's warmer than most Gerudo, so it's not too bad.

Ganondorf occasionally smacks his head on the doorframes of Hyrule Castle. Don't mention to him if you saw it because you will get a lecture.

Edward likes to teach Altair all the sailing songs and all the drinking songs he knows - and he makes sure to remember which ones Altair finds annoying so he can use them as a weapon >:)

Edward greatly appreciates it when Altair takes care of him when he is sick/hungover/drunk, but he sometimes finds it hard to tell him. So often, after Edward's feeling better, Altair will find a present of some kind waiting for him in his room.

It was around nap time and as he'd expected Pitya had been running around while Telvo had been cuddling with one of Curvo's cats. When he'd picked Telvo up the cat meowed and ran off. Then he whistled to get Pitya's attention. "'Russa, time for a nap. Telvo is sleepy, and if we go inside now I'll get you a sweet snack after nap time."

Pitya made a dramatic noise and flopped to the ground as if ready to refuse the summons. Well that was until he heard sweet snack and scrambled to be picked up by Cana as well, yawning a bit, "Up!"

Turelio watched the Hunter intently, trying to figure out the flaw in how he used a bow compared to how Lord Orome did. Slightly frustrated that he kept missing it he attempted to mimic his stance again and aimed for the target, only a target because until he was better he didn't want to try to hit anything that he would hurt.

Orome was aware of the observation and taking note of what the young hunter was attempting and then turned. He moved behind a tree, seeming to vanish but was then behind the younger, guiding his hands. For a moment he was reminded of his beloved and teaching him long ago.

Amused his 'nephew' was so similar he spotted the issue, "Move this finger.... to here... now line up and try again."

Thorin was not certain in that aspect, but he couldn't allow his younger brother to continue on in his false hopes. The elder of the two simply sighed turning his head to glance at Frerin a moment or two, an unreadable expression upon his features. "It doesn't get easier, nadad." The brunette said softly, looking away from the other "None of it ever does get easy - nor will it ever be." It was up to them to push forward and make things work for them, not the other way around. Their kin did not get this far by wishing for easy, not when they'd already put in hard work.

Angrod held a blanket around his shoulders, his steps slower since the dragon fire. He coughed against the back of his hand as he opened the door. "Cana? I thought..." He'd hoped Aika was here. He coughed again, ushering his cousin in.

The cabin wasn't much but it was private. He'd grown uncomfortable with the pity that followed him in the keep. The fire burned low in the hearth. The cold made it harder to move around than usual, but he tried not to let it show in front of his cousin.
