You gasped loudly as he threw you over the bed, pupils blown with lust as he drank you in. You had never seen such hunger in his eyes. He was hungry and he made that clear as he ripped off your blouse in one swift motion leaving you just in your shorts.
All of your rational thoughts flew out of the window as he started leaving kisses down your body. His hands massaged one of your breasts as his mouth latched onto another, eliciting a deep moan from your mouth as his tongue flicked your hardened nipple.
You knew this was bad but you were taken by the piece of writing like a moth drawn towards the flame. You had put your hands in the fire, willingly, and now you were going to get burned by it, but you couldn't stop yourself from reading the next lines.
“De-” you whimpered as he let go of your nipples and started to work on your pants. His hands brushed your clothed core as he murmured, “Mhm, so wet for me already. How long have you been thinkin’ ‘bout me, sweetheart?” Dean ripped your panties and let out a low growl, making you shiver in anticipation.
“Long enough.” You purred. He pulled at your panties as he captured your lips in a passionate kiss. His teeth grazed your lower lips, drawing out a low moan out of you.
A small whimper left your lips as you looked around the empty bunker, thanking your luck that Sam and Dean were both out to pick up some supplies. You contemplated whether to move your reading to your bedroom or stay at the War Room table surrounded by piles of lore books.
You didn't even know how you ended up on this fansite because all this time you clearly had no idea that fans from all over the world were writing certain stories involving the Winchester based on the books by Carver Edlund. You were supposed to be researching for new cases, not read some erotic piece of writing about Dean Winchester, your best friend, but you somehow opened this site and you did come across a really sensual story, and ever since you started reading it, you couldn't stop. So there was no turning back now.
You let out a little sigh as you read on, knowing very well your panties were now ruined.
“God, you're so beautiful,” he whispered into your ears. He licked his lips, his eyes raking over your naked form.
“And you're overdressed,” you whined tugging at his jeans.
“Someone's a little too eager,” he smirked and pulled his shirt over his head, throwing it on the floor. You could see his growing excitement strain against the material of his jeans. Your hands reached out to palm the very noticeable bulge but he quickly swatted your hand away.
“Tonight is not about me, it's about you, sweetheart.” He smirked.
“Mhm,” you nodded, unable to form a coherent sentence. You threw your head back as you cried out in ecstasy when Dean put a finger inside you. He pumped twice before adding another. Your eyes fluttered shut as he curled his fingers in you, the tips brushing against your g-spot repeatedly, the action drawing out a loud moan from you. You could feel yourself edging towards the climax as Dean kept on repeating the motion.
You bit down on your lip, trying to stop your own moan that was threatening to leave your mouth. Your free hand gripped your thigh tightly, nails digging into your skin through your jeans as you felt your face on fire.
“Fuck,” you cursed as he pulled out his fingers just before you could come. He had a devilish smirk on his face and you wanted nothing more than to wipe it off. He quickly opened the button on his jeans before pushing it down along with his boxers, his hard length springing free. You watched him as he took his cock in his hands, pumping himself twice before rubbing up and down his length, the tip of his length beaded with precum.
“Are you going to fuck me tonight?” You were getting annoyed with his teasing.
“Such a needy little thing, aren't you?” Dean pressed his lips onto yours in a chaste kiss before lining himself in front of your entrance. You sucked in a deep breath as he pushed himself in you. He-
You slammed your laptop shut as you heard the boys coming down the stairs. So lost in the story, you didn't even hear the boys closing the door of the bunker.
“Honey, we're home!” Dean teased, as he rounded the corner of the stairs and stood across the table. “You okay?” He narrowed his eyes at you as he placed the pack of beer on the table.
“Y-yeah. I'm great. Awesome. Amazing. Fantastic,” you blurted out and mentally slapped yourself - like that was totally going to help you and not raise any suspicion.
You looked at Dean with hooded eyes, feeling like you were seeing him in a new light. Were his eyes always this beautiful shade of green? Your eyes travelled downwards as you gulped at the sight of his jeans hanging low on his hips.
“Y/N?” You jumped at the voice of Sam.
“W-what?”
“Are you okay? You look a little flushed,” he asked with worries in his eyes.
“Stop asking me if I'm okay!” You exclaimed.
“Okay,” Dean raised up his hands in defence. Grabbing your laptop from the table, you stood up and turned on your heels to go to your room.
Tumblr media
It had been three days since you had read the story about Dean, which you had eventually completed reading once you were alone in your bedroom. Three days since you had spent every spare minute you had to look up more of those writings about Dean. But now, you regretted it because every time you crossed paths with him, you wanted nothing but to rip his clothes off and jump his bones. You cursed Chuck for writing about the lives of the Winchesters and publishing it, giving way to the inspirations for these fanfictions. Your feelings toward him had intensified and you couldn't even form a complete sentence without stuttering while talking to him.
Even though Dean was indifferent to the change in your actions, Sam had quickly caught on to it but you had kept your mouth tightly shut, though you didn't know how long you would be able to control yourself around him - especially after tonight.
As you laid in the bed of a rundown motel room, you picked up a pillow to cover your ears, trying to drown out the voices coming from Dean's room. The banging of the headboard against the paper thin wall and the loud moans of the girl made you wonder if sex with Dean was really as good as you read in the stories. You looked over to the other bed in the room and saw Sam’s chest rise and fall accompanied by heavy breathing, indicating he was in deep sleep but Dean's low grunts and moans from the other room made it impossible for you to get any sleep that night.
“Morning,” Dean strolled into your room the next morning, with a stupid ‘I got laid’ look on his face. You glanced at him while sipping your coffee but refrained from saying anything.
“Next time, stay at another motel if you decide to bring home a girl,” Sam grumbled at his brother.
“So this is what it is all about? I swear you both are so uptight. You just need to get laid,” he smirked, taking a seat at the table across you.
You looked at him again but didn't say anything. You knew it was stupid to be angry at him. He was a man with needs and it was not like you had said anything to him about your crush.
“What's the matter with you?” Dean asked. You ignored his question as you grabbed your FBI clothes before marching off into the bathroom. Closing the door behind you, you let out a sigh of relief. You couldn't think straight with Dean Winchester looking like a freaking Vogue model in a suit. You took your sweet time to put on your clothes before leaving the bathroom.
“Y/N,” Dean said the moment you entered the room. You didn't even bother to look at him. “You can't ignore me forever.”
“I'm not ignoring you,” you finally spoke, “I'm just not talking to you.”
“Why? What did I do, sweetheart?”
“I'm not your sweetheart, Dean Winchester,” you snapped, surprising him.
“Easy there tiger,” he joked before slipping into his work persona, “So what do we have?” Dean picked up your laptop and logged into it before you could say anything. Your eyes widened in horror and embarrassment as you saw Dean’s face scrunch up, his eyes moving swiftly over the laptop screen.
“I had no idea you were into fifty shades, Y/N,” he chuckled.
“What?”
“This. You were reading porn.” He wiggled his eyebrows. “Oh Y/N. I was so wrong abo-” He suddenly stopped mid sentence as the playfulness left his face. “What is this?” Dean frowned.
“I….I don't-” You stammered. This wasn't supposed to happen. He wasn't supposed to find out.
“Dean?” Sam called out to his brother, noticing his change in expression. The older Winchester shoved the laptop towards his brother, all the while glaring at the electronic device.
“What the hell?” Sam exclaimed as he took a look at the screen. “Y/N. Tell me you weren't-”
“She clearly was.” You winced at how Dean spit out those words.
“I can explain. I just came across-”
“Don't.” Dean snapped and stormed out of the room.
Tumblr media
The hunt was a success and right now you and the Winchesters were celebrating the success in a bar. You rolled your eyes as you saw Dean flirting with a blonde so you knew you weren't going to get any sleep tonight either but what bothered you the most was that Dean had barely spoken any words to you since he found out about the stories.
“Hey are you okay?” Sam asked as you sat there at the counter nursing a glass of drink.
“Y-yeah I'm fine,” you whispered.
“Talk to me. You know your secrets are always safe with me,” he smiled.
“What's left to say? I came across a story. It was an erotic piece of writing with, uh-Dean, and I read it. Now I can't look at him without thinking that I invaded his privacy. I know it's all fiction but I read porn about my best friend. Everytime I see him, I am reminded of how he flicks his tongue-”
“Y/N! Too much information,” Sam groaned.
“Sorry.”
“What you did is wrong but you can't turn back time, can you?”
“No but what am I supposed to do?”
“Get laid. Relieve some of that tension.” Sam shrugged, making you glare at him.
“I love your brother, Sam who is over there flirting with that blonde, not talking to me. I-I can't do this. It's better if I just pack up my bags and permanently move to Antarctica.” You muttered.
“Y/N, be realistic. Talk to him or find someone to scratch your itch.” Sam said, getting out of his seat before walking away from you. You flagged the bartender for another round when you noticed a man slide into the seat next to you.
“Hey gorgeous. What is a pretty little thing like you doing all alone here?” You wanted to puke as soon as you heard the man speak. He placed a hand on yours, making your shudder.
“Hey,” you said, trying to use some of Sam’s advice and it was only for one night.
“Want to get out of here?” You fought the urge to roll your eyes at the man’s straightforwardness, he could have at least bought you a drink.
“Uhm-” you played along.
“Come on baby. You and I are gonna have an amazing night with your pussy wrapped around my cock-” and that was the final strike. You were ready to get out of the bar but not with that man.
“No thanks, I have a boyfriend,” you mumbled before finishing your drink and storming out of the bar, unbeknownst to the fact that Dean was watching the whole interaction, the woman beside him long forgotten.
Seeing you storm out of the bar, peaked his curiosity. He was never good with feelings so when he caught you fantasizing about him, it took him entirely by surprise. He had stormed out of that room because if he had stayed one more second, he would have taken you right then and there. After that incident, he couldn't get you out of his mind and that was making him uncomfortable because it was getting impossible for him to continue walking around with a hard on.
Tumblr media
Three harsh knocks on the door of the motel room interrupted your solo drinking session. Annoyed, you went to the door only for Dean to push it open and get in quickly
“Dean? What are-” your words were cut off by him loudly closing the door behind him. “Look I'm sorry, Dean. I know you can't even probably look at me. I am so sorry-”
“Why did you read about me?”
“What?”
“Why did you read about me? Why not read about Sam?” He raised his eyebrows at you.
“I-I….well. It's-I don't exactly have a reason-”
“Y/N.” He cocked his head.
“Fine. I like you. I like Sam too but he is like a brother to me and you're you. I-” you stopped rambling when you heard him scoff lightly.
“Then what's the matter with you?”
“Huh?” Now you were utterly confused.
“One moment you say that you like me and the next you are flirting with a sleazy bastard at the bar,” he huffed.
“You saw that?”
“Of course I did.”
“I thought you were angry at me because I literally read porn about you. You stormed out of that room.” You fiddled with the hem of your shirt as you whispered the words to him.
“I was angry but not at you. I don't like Chuck’s books but I kinda feel proud that you read porn about me,” you looked up at Dean and saw him smirking, “I was angry at myself because all this goddamn time I kept thinking you didn't feel the same.”
“What?”
“You have read about what fake-me can do, wanna see what the real me can?” He wiggled his eyebrows.
“W-what?” At this question, Dean leaned in, cupping your cheek as he captured your lips in a kiss. Your hands travelled all the way to the back of his neck, pulling him closer. His tongue swept across your lips, making you whimper. You both stumbled back to the bed, his lips still on yours. You only separated for a few seconds when you two quickly undressed.
Tumblr media
“Dean!” You cried out as you felt yourself coming undone, followed by a guttural groan from Dean as he spilled inside you, coating your walls with his seed. He panted, dropping his head in the crook of your neck as you both came down from the high. Raising his head, Dean looked at you with a fond expression on his face as he pulled out of you, rolling to the other side of the bed.
“Whoever said it was very wrong. Reality is so much better than fiction,” you giggled, looking at the man lying beside you. He turned his body to pull you closer, pecking your lips.
“I can't argue with you on that. Now no more reading about me, okay?” You nodded a stupid grin on your face.
“I got the real deal.”
“So you're not moving to Antarctica, are you? ‘Cause I would love to call you mine and I'm not good at long distance stuff,” Dean smirked.
“No, Winchester. I am not going anywhere because I would love to be called yours. Also remind me to kill Sam in the morning.” You huffed, making Dean burst out in fits of laughter.

“I still don’t get why you asked me to do this. I’m not a professional,” you mumbled. “Since it’s the first time you’re doing this, you  really should’ve gone to a professional.”
“I know, I know,” Jess sighed, taking another gulp of the wine. “I lost track of time and forgot to set an appointment. It’s just that Sam is planning something special for this weekend. I wanted to look nice.”
“You’ve been together for nearly five years, Jess. The guy asked you to marry him. And knowing him, he doesn’t mind if you wax or trim or do nothing down there.”
“I know he doesn’t. But I’m not just doing this for him. I’m doing this for me,” she said. “Does it hurt?”
“A little,” you shrugged. “Alright, now lay down.”
Jess did as told, placing her glass on the nightstand. She was naked from the waist down, a white towel covered her lady bits. You could see it on her face that she was nervous. It would be better if she was a little drunk for you to do this.
“Move the towel so we can get going,” you asked, holding a popsicle with a large blob of yellow wax.
She gritted her teeth and her breath was caught in her throat when you spread the burning wax over the top of her mound. Jess clenched her eyes shut.
“We shouldn’t do this. I’m already regretting it.”
“You’ll be fine, Jess. Trust me.”
Jess took in a deep breath, relaxing a little.
“Before I do this, I need you to know that I have always loved you,” you said before pulling the strip off.
“Fuck!” She nearly screamed, sitting up straight.
“Here,” you offered her the bottle of wine. “See? It wasn’t that bad.”
“It wasn’t that bad?” Her blue eyes widened. “It was worse than I expected.”
“You know that we’re not finished, right?”
“I know,” she cried, taking another gulp of the whine and finishing the bottle.
Jess laid back and you repeated the process. She winced once again.
“And to think I was gonna ask you to be my maid of honor.”
“You were what?” You exclaimed.
“Well, I was gonna ask you properly next week and it was gonna be beautiful, but I guess I ruined everything.”
“I can’t believe you chose me to be your maid of honor,” you couldn’t stop the big smile to spread over your lips, happy tears welled in your eyes.
“Really?” She smiled. “I thought it was kinda obvious.”
“Of course not! I was sure you were gonna ask one of your sisters.”
“Y/N, we both know that none of them would be able to help organize a wedding.”
“I’m truly honored, Jess,” you hugged her. “God, you’re gonna have the wedding of your dreams.”
“I love you, Y/N/N.”
“I love you too.”
Three years ago, Sam proposed to Jess. You still remember the day when she came running to your place to tell you everything and show the beautiful diamond ring on her finger. She was truly happy. Her blue eyes held a glisten you had never seen before. You were happy for her.
Jess wanted a big wedding. She had enough money to throw a magnificent ceremony. Sam was a bit worried about how they would afford it so they decided to wait to get married. They worked out on a budget and started saving money. Both of them had established jobs; Sam as a lawyer and Jess as a prosecutor. They saved enough money to have their dream wedding. Twice.
You helped Jess organize everything. You hired one of the best wedding planners in the U.S. and they were perfect. Jess was on cloud nine. She still had some stress, but in the end, she reminded herself that everything would be okay. She was nervous people wouldn’t come because it was a destination wedding. Sam and Jess picked Maui, Hawaii for their ceremony. More specifically, Makena Cove Beach. So she saved extra money to pay for the guests’ staying at a resort. It was a damn expensive wedding.
Jess was born into a wealthy family. They never had to worry about money. Good thing they weren’t snobs. Her parents insisted on paying for hers and the bridesmaids’ dresses. They paid yours too. They even wanted to pay for Sam’s tuxedo, but John and Mary wouldn’t have it. Her parents wanted to help. Their oldest daughter was getting married and they wanted to give her everything. It was nice of them. Jess and Sam were glad for their willingness to help, but they also wanted to be more independent and bear the expenses.
Sam wasn’t born into a rich family, but the Winchesters weren’t poor either. John owned a law firm in Lawrence and Mary owned a bakery. They couldn’t assist as much as Jess’ parents, but they managed to help out anyway.
October 24th was getting closer and closer. You were so excited about their wedding day. Seeing them so radiant was priceless. They deserved all the happiness in the world. With less than one week left for the ceremony, you had to do the last touch-ups for the reception. That includes finishing your speech.
You had never thought you’d enjoy organizing a wedding this much. Thanks to you and the bridesmaid team, Jess had an epic bachelorette party. And poor Sam had to deal with the bachelor party Dean threw for him. It was a nice party, of course, but Sam wasn’t the kind of guy that enjoyed being around strippers. The bridal shower was fun too and she got lots of nice gifts.
Dean, the best man and your best friend, was doing everything he could to support his brother. He even went out with Sam to buy his tuxedo.
“Hey Claire,” you grinned walking into the car shop.
“Hi Y/N,” she smiled. “Dean said you were coming. He’s in the back.”
“Thanks, darling.”
Winchester’s Auto Shop. Dean was passionate about cars since he was a little kid. He became a mechanic and after years of hard work, he opened his own shop. You were proud of him. Seeing him conquer so much in his life only made you love your best friend even more.
“Hey you,” grinning, you spotted Dean underneath his car.
“Hey, sweetheart,” he said, struggling with whatever he was doing to the muscle car.
“Why are you working on Baby?” You nudged his feet.
“Had to replace the pipe,” he said before standing up to meet you. His grey shirt and denim jeans covered in grease. “And done.”
Your fingers trailed over the shining hood. Dean circled the car and started the engine. The impala roared to life, a purr following.
“There you go, Baby,” a wide smile spread on his lips. He turned off the ignition and took a step back, contemplating the beauty of his most precious possession. “Isn’t she beautiful?”
“Yeah, Dean, she is,” you rolled your eyes playfully. “Alright, why did you call me here?”
“We can talk in my office,” he suggested. “With chairs and AC.”
You nodded and followed him to his office. He opened the door and you rushed to the comfortable chair in front of his desk. There was something about his office that was very homey. It made you feel at ease.
Dean headed to the mini-fridge and picked a couple of beers for the two of you. He sat on his desk, handing your beverage. You frowned at him, taking a gulp. He seemed tense.
“Alright, Winchester, spill.”
“I, uh, I know this kinda seems out of the blue and that I should’ve talked to you sooner, but,” he stopped his rambling and only made you more anxious.
“But?” You arched your eyebrow, waiting for him to continue.
“I just need you to do this one little thing for me,” his pleading green eyes held your gaze.
“And that is…”
“Fake date me?” His lips curled into a weak smile as his brows furrowed, voice full of uncertainty.
“Sure,” you shrugged. “But why?”
“My parents are gonna be at Sam’s wedding and I don’t want them to pick on me for not having someone, you know?” His eyes fell to his lap, the beer in his hand untouched. “I mean, Sam’s their youngest and he’s getting married. I don’t even have a girlfriend. ‘Sides, you know everything there is to know about me so it would be easier for them to buy it. You sure you wanna do it?”
“I’m sure, Dean,” you smiled at him, placing your hand over his. Green eyes looked up to meet you. “There’s nothing wrong about being single at your age. And if your parents think otherwise, screw them.”
“Thanks, Y/N/N.”
“You’re lucky, you know?”
“And why’s that?” He took a large gulp of his beer.
“You’re gonna get to kiss me anytime you want,” you shrugged. “Just a heads up, people say I’m a pro at that.”
“Guess I’m gonna have to find that out myself,” he winked at you.
A comfortable silence fell in the room. Both of you nursed your beers isolated in your worlds.
“Did you finish your speech?” You asked.
“Yeah. It turned out really good actually. Did you finish yours?”
“Not yet,” you sighed. “I’m still trying to figure out how not to cry when I read it.”
Dean chuckled, standing up and putting on his blue flannel.
“I’m done for the day. Do you need a ride?” You nodded in response. “You going to Rocky’s or home?”
“Rocky’s,” you sighed in frustration as you headed to the door. “Gotta make up for the time Pam is gonna cover for me.”
“I thought you were gonna close the bar while we are in Hawaii.”
“I was, but Pam thought it was better to keep it open. She has way more experience in running a bar so I decided to go by her.”
Dean opened the door to the impala for you before getting behind the steering wheel. He turned the ignition and Baby’s loud purr filled your ears.
“I don’t get why we’re traveling tomorrow already,” he whined. “The wedding is only Saturday. We could hop on the plane on Thursday.”
“C’mon, I’m the maid of honor. In case anything goes wrong, I’m there,” you explained. “And you, Winchester, are the best man. You gotta help me.”
The ride to the bar was mostly quiet, saved for the sound of one of Dean’s cassettes. The night was falling and you were glad the bar closed at 10pm tonight. Dean pulled up in the driveway. You couldn’t find it in you to get out of the car and go to work. Monday nights were always dead and that’s way worse than having a busy night. The time just didn’t seem to pass.
“Do you want me to pick you up?”
“Nah, I’m good,” you smiled. “Thanks, Dean,” you leaned and pecked his stubbled cheek.
“Take care, sweetheart.”
You hopped out of the car, making your way to the bar. Every time he dropped you off at work or at home, he’d wait for you to come in then he’d head out. Tonight was no different.
“Y/N,” you turned and found Dean leaning on his seat. “Do you want to meet me at the airport or I pick you up and we head to the airport?”
“Pick me up,” you smiled. “Eight sharp, Dean.”
“Alrighty,” his lips curled into a smile. “Night, sweetheart.”
“Night, Dean-o.”
————
“Ugh, I’m so, so tired,” you grumbled, plopping down onto the airplane seat.
“Hmm, me too.”
Dean reclined his chair, his eyes were already closed. The plane hadn’t even taken off and he was almost asleep.
“Dean,” your voice was ever so soft.
“Hmm,” he blinked an eye open to take a peek at your pleading face.
“I’m cold.”
“Alright, c’mere,” he sneaked his arm around you, pulling you closer to his body. Your head laying on his chest. “Better?”
“Better.”
“You aren’t cold, are you?”
“Not really,” you chuckled. “Just love some snuggle before falling asleep. And I know that planes make you uncomfortable. So I hope this helps.”
“It does,” you could hear the smile in his voice. “Now go to sleep.”
You and Dean slept through almost the entire flight. You called a cab and made your way to the resort you were staying at. Sam and Jess wanted to pay for yours and Dean’s stay, but you insisted on paying yourselves. They would already cover for most of the guests either way. Money would be a little tight this month, but it was worth it. It was your best friend’s wedding for Christ’s sake.
“Are you sure we’re at the right place?” You asked Dean as you both stood awestruck in front of the resort with your bags in hands.
“Uh-huh,” he swallowed thickly.
“This is so fancy. I don’t think I know how to behave in a place like this.”
“I don’t think I do either,” he chuckled.
You went to the reception and got the keys to your room. A gasp left your lips as you stepped inside. The room seemed to shine before your eyes. It was out of this world. The sprawling leather couch in front of the fifty inches tv had your breath hitching in your throat.
“Oh my God, look at this view,” you let go of the bags and walked to the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The palm trees and the crystal blue water were a sight to behold. Sam and Jess had picked a beautiful place to get married.
“Y/N, come here,” Dean called from where you assumed to be the bathroom.
“Wow,” your eyes widened as they landed on the enormous bathtub. “I could easily drown in there.”
Your fingers roamed over the counter. Everything was in marble and hand-crafted tiles. Everything was magnificent and fancy. As well as the bath, the power shower was huge. Oh, the jacuzzi.
“I’m never leaving this room,” said Dean. “Sam can find another best man.”
“See? That’s one of the reasons why we came earlier.”
The cream Egyptian cotton sheets covering the king-sized bed made it difficult not to jump on and take a nap. You set on the edge, your body almost melting.
“Oh god, it’s memory foam.”
Dean’s lips curled into a smile as he watched you close your eyes. You were enjoying way too much. Your palms were flat on the mattress, taking in all its softness.
“I can sleep on the couch if you want,” he suggested.
“Don’t be silly. This bed is big enough for both of us. Plus, it’s not gonna be the first time we share a bed, fake boyfriend,” you shot him a wink. “Now if you don’t mind, I’m gonna hop in the shower. I’m disgusting.”
“You go,” he nodded. “I’ll text Sam to let them know we arrived safe.”
“You do that,” you smiled, picking your clothes from the suitcase. “Also, can you call the ceremonial? Let her know that we’re here and we’d like to meet her today,” you asked before entering the bathroom.
“Will do.”
Steam filled the room as you cut the shower on. The water poured on your body, massaging your tense muscles. You bathed quickly. You had a lot of things to do before Sam and Jess arrived.
The afternoon flew by you. Barbara, the ceremonial, had everything perfectly mapped out. Her team would arrive on Thursday. That would give them plenty of time to wrap up the last details of the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony.
You and Dean finished your speeches. It would be hard to hold back the tears. You spent the rest of the day mostly in the room. Both of you were still too tired to wander around the resort. The following morning, after having a delicious breakfast, you and Dean explored the resort.
Turned out that Dean isn’t that good at the tennis table. At least now you had something to hold against him. Then he kicked your ass at pool and darts. That wasn’t nice.
You spent most of the afternoon at the pool. Dean was a bit annoyed at first because he didn’t want to apply sunscreen. He said he didn’t need it. Boy, that pissed you off. If he wanted to look like a shrimp at his brother’s wedding, then he didn’t need it after all. Dean could be as stubborn as a mule when he wanted to. But he gave in and applied it. He was even embarrassed to ask you to apply it on his back.
Sam and Jess were on their way. You were excited about their arrival. You couldn’t wait to show her around the resort. Unfortunately, they arrived late at night. You just stopped by their room to check on them before going to bed. They were extremely tired. They had worked all morning and flew by lunchtime.
Dean was in bed, searching through the channels when you stepped into the room. His hair was a little wet, spiking in multiple directions. You plopped yourself down beside him, already in your pajamas.
“My mom and dad are on the plane right now,” he grumbled, his eyes fixated on the screen.
“That’s good.”
“They’re gonna be here tomorrow morning,” Dean added. “And they want to have lunch. You, me, Sam and Jess.”
“Guess it’s happening then, huh?”
“Yeah,” he sighed.
“Do they know that you’re ’with’ me?” you glanced up at him.
“Mmhmm,” he turned his attention to you. “I didn’t say your name ‘cause I knew there was a chance you wouldn’t want to do this.”
“Guess I’m gonna meet your parents, boyfriend,” you grinned.
“You are,” Dean chuckled and you yawned.
“Good night, Dean,” you pressed a light kiss to his cheek.
“Night, sweetheart.”
You turned on your stomach, right leg hiking up as the other stood straight. Your arm was tucked under the pillow. The room went completely quiet as Dean turned off the tv. You found it odd that he remained sat instead of going to sleep.
“Y/N/N?” His voice was unsure and as quiet as a whisper.
“Hmm?”
“You awake?”
“No, I’m dead,” Dean shook his head, a chuckle leaving his lips. “What’s up, Dean?” You turned on your back to face him. He laid on his side and you did the same.
“You sure you wanna do this?”
“I’m sure, Dean,” you reassured him, fingers making their way to play with his hair. “It’s bad that I’m gonna lie to your parents the first time I meet them. But I’m doing this for you. Don't overthink this, Dean.”
“I love you, you know that?”
“Oh, I don’t think I do,” you teased.
“Ah, shut up,” he chuckled.
“I love you too.”
“I know you do,” he smiled, his warm hand came up to your cheek, knuckles caressing your skin. A trail of goosebumps wandering through your body. “Sleep tight, sweetheart,” his lips met your forehead, lingering a little bit longer than usual.
He turned his back to you, shifting in his sleeping position. His hand reached for the bedside lamp and turned it off. You were facing the back of his head, breath still caught in your throat. You shook your head and turned to your side, waiting for the sleepiness that seemed to have faded.
Sunshine invaded the room. The curtains didn’t put any resistance on keeping the room dark. The orange glow made you clamp your eyes, before fluttering it open. You blinked a few times to adjust to the bright daylight. A heavyweight in your middle made you frown. Then you became more aware of your surroundings and realized what it was. Dean’s arm was draped over your waist, his knees tucked into yours. His chest was pressed flush to your back. You took in deep breaths. It was not the first time you’d shared a bed. But he has never been this close.
“Morning,” his voice sounded hoarse from sleep. Dean nuzzled into your neck, a shiver ran down your spine, his arm tightening around you.
“Good morning,” you beamed, voice a little husky.
“Don’t wanna get up,” he whined.
“Me neither,” you mumbled. “But I’ve got so much to do today.”
“No, you don’t. You have lunch with my parents and rehearsal dinner tonight. Other than that you’re free to spend the whole morning asleep.”
“Yeah, but I can’t. I’ve gotta talk to Jess about some things. Especially about our fake dating thing.”
“I’ve told Sam so she probably already knows.”
“You’re right,” you nodded. “Thank god I was able to set up a massage session for us after lunch.”
“We’re getting a massage?” You couldn’t see, but you were sure his eyes had lightened up like a Christmas tree.
“Not us, silly,” you chuckled. “Me and Jess.”
“You’re the worst.”
“If I had set it up for us, you’d hit on the masseuse and turn that into porn.”
“No, I wouldn’t,” his voice raised about an octave. “I would fall asleep the second she touched me.”
“Yeah, yeah, of course, you would,” you scoffed.
“Why can’t we just go back to sleep? I’m tired,” he pleaded, burying his face in the curve of your neck. “You’re so comfy.”
He pulled you closer to him. Your body tensed as you felt a hardness against your ass.
“Dean, you, uh,” he noticed you stiffen in his hold.
“Oh, crap,” he pulled away as if your skin burned him. “Shit. Sorry. I, uh, I didn’t mean to-“
“It’s okay. That’s normal, Dean. I know it wasn’t on purpose or because you were, uh, you know.”
“Sorry.”
“It’s okay. I mean it,” you smiled sympathetically. “Now go get changed so we can have breakfast. I promised Jess I’d meet her in an hour.”
Sam decided to have breakfast with you while Jess was at a yoga class. Since they’d decided on a date to get married, Jess started to hit the gym and go to yoga classes. She wanted to be in her best shape on her wedding day. It wound up becoming more of a way to relieve stress than anything else.
“Have you two come up with a story for mom and dad?” Sam asked.
“What do you mean?” Dean frowned at his brother, stuffing the last bite of his croissant in his mouth.
“They’re gonna ask you how you met, how long you met each other, how long you’ve been together, where’d you go on your first date-“
“Nah, they’re not gonna ask,” Dean shook his head. “They’re gonna focus on you and Jess.”
“Dude, you only introduced them to a girl once. And that was a long time ago. Of course, they’re gonna want to know more of you and Y/N. Take it from me. When I brought Jess home, mom wouldn’t stop asking questions. You know how she gets excited.”
“Leave it for me,” you said after taking a sip of your coffee. “I’m good at improv.”
“Your stories need to match.”
“I’m just gonna tell them the truth and change some bits. Add more romance. And voila. Dean and Y/N’s love story.”
“If you blow it, I’m gonna tell them you brainwashed me,” Dean warned you.
“Chill, Dean-o,” you bumped his shoulder. “I got everything under control.”
———
“Mom and dad, this is Y/N,” Dean motioned to you.
“Oh, it’s so nice to finally meet you,” Mary squealed, wrapping her arms around. Your eyes widened at her reaction. She squeezed you and you hugged her back.
“Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Winchester.”
“Oh, please, call me Mary,” she said, pulling away and offering you a smile.
“So we finally meet the great Y/N, huh,” John grinned, a heat crept on your cheeks.
“Nice to meet you, Mr. Winchester,” you smiled.
“Call me John, kid.”
“Right.”
Dean pulled out the chair for you to sit and sat beside you. Mary and John were at each head of the table.
“Oh, Y/N, we heard so much about you,” Mary smiled.
“You did?” Your surprise couldn’t even be hidden. You glanced at Dean and he shrugged with a head tilt.
“Of course we did. This guy wouldn’t stop talking about you so it’s nice to finally put a face to the name.”
“You got him wrapped around your finger, kiddo,” said John.
You smiled sheepishly. The table fell into a comfortable silence as you looked through te menu, deciding to have the same as Dean.
“Sam, are you nervous about tomorrow?” Mary grinned.
“Yeah,” he smiled.
“I can’t wait for tomorrow,” Jess’ eyes shone every time she mentioned her wedding.
“Jess, I can’t wait to see your dress,” Mary grinned.
“Oh, it’s the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen.”
“You’ve seen it?” Mary’s blue eyes widened at you.
“Not only have I seen it, but I was there when she bought it. You’re gonna love it.”
“Y/N is my maid of honor.”
“Really? That’s great!”
“We’ve known each other since kindergarten. She was the one to introduce me to Sam,” she smiled. “She’s my other half.”
Jess extended her hand across the table, linking your fingers.
“Hey!” Sam feigned offense. She chuckled and pecked his lips into a sweet kiss.
“Dean, honey, you’re awfully quiet today,” his mom said softly.
Dean looked up from his dish, his mouth full. Smiling at him, you reached for his hair. His shoulders were tense and he had barely said a word since you sat to eat.
“Oh, he’s just afraid you’re gonna like me better than him.”
Everyone laughed and you heard a small chuckle escape his lips. He was tense and even a little nervous. You could understand that. Dean was afraid his parents wouldn’t buy your story. That would be the worst.
The table was filled with laughter. Mary did most of the talking. She asked Sam and Jess a lot of questions about their wedding. You could hear how happy she was from the way she talked. You were surprised she didn’t question you about your relationship with Dean.
“So, Y/N,” Mary turned to you.
“Oh boy, here we go,” you straighten your posture, taking a deep breath. Everyone laughed at your response.
“Please, Y/N, tell me about you and Dean. I need all the details,” her pleading blue eyes only made a stain of guilt appear on your stomach. “No, not all the details. Those you can keep to yourself.”
“Mom,” Dean nearly whined, a shade of pink coloring his cheeks.
“Ugh, gross,” John chuckled.
“Where can I start…” you needed to articulate your thoughts so the story would be convincing enough for them to believe. “About six years ago, I was driving home from my parents' house and my car broke down. I called… what was the name again?” You asked Dean.
“Jamie’s auto shop.”
“Right. I called James's auto shop and waited for the guy. The guy took way too long. It was dark and there was no one on the road. I thought I was gonna be eaten by wolves-“
“Just to be clear, there are no wolves in Lebanon, Kansas,” he interrupted you.
“You don’t know that,” you spat at him and he shrugged. “As I was saying, the guy took so long I thought he was coming on foot. It turned down he wasn’t. He was just driving like my grandma,” Dean had to bite down a laugh as he shook his head. “Then he climbed out of the car. The moment I saw those piercing green eyes, I knew I was a goner. And all those things you see in movies like the heart beating out of your chest, butterflies in your stomach. I felt all that stuff. And he was a gentleman. He made sure to drive me home. He fixed my car and gave me a really nice discount.”
“Are you telling me that it took him six years to introduce you to us?” Mary’s blue eyes were wide under arched brows.
“If it makes you feel better it took him five years to ask me on a date,” you shrugged.
Mary kept on asking about yours and Dean’s relationship. Some things were easier to answer. Others not much. Your palms started to sweat when questions started to get a little more personal. She wanted to know more about you. She asked about your family and what you did for a living. Your voice started to waver. You didn’t want to tell her that you owned a bar. A part of you feared what she’d think of you once you told her about your job. Hell, not even your parents liked the idea. What would she think of you? And why did you feel like you needed her approval?
“I, uh, I-“ you couldn’t find the words to say, your mind was hazy and your thoughts seemed to have disappeared.
Dean must have noticed because you felt a warm hand reaching for your thigh. His touch was reluctant, but soothing. He squeezed your skin softly, reminding you that he was there.
“C’mon, mom. It’s been years since I presented you to a girl and now you’re trying to scare her off?” His arm sneaked around your back, bringing your body closer to his. “This one was so damn hard to find. And there’s still time for her to get sick of me and dump me. But you’re not gonna do that, right sweetheart?” You shook your head, a smile spreading over your lips. “Good,” Dean pressed a kiss to your temple and you relaxed instantly.
“I’m sorry, Y/N,” Mary apologized.
“It’s okay. You can ask me whatever you want.”
“But not today,” Dean stared at his mother, his voice almost sounded like a warning. “Hell, ask Jess all the questions. She can’t run away from Sam anymore. I mean, technically she still can-“
“Dude, don’t give her any ideas,” Sam played along.
“Anyways, it was lovely to meet you guys, but Y/N and I have a couples massage session in one hour back at the resort. We should get going,” Dean lied, he wanted to get you out of there as soon as possible. He was afraid his parents would make you uncomfortable again.
You hugged them and headed out of the restaurant. John and Mary would head back to their hotel while Sam and Jess were going to meet the ceremonial. They needed to go over a few things for the rehearsal dinner tonight.
“Do you want me to call a cab or do you want to walk back to the resort?” He asked.
“We can walk,” you shrugged.
“Okay,” he wrapped his arm around your shoulders, bringing you closer to him. “I’m sorry about that.”
“Don’t worry, it’s fine. I’ve had it worse,” you brushed it off as if it didn’t matter.
“Of course it’s not fine. She shouldn’t have asked you so many questions. And she shouldn’t have made you feel uncomfortable.”
“It’s okay, Dean. She was just making sure you were with someone decent.”
“Well, she’s anything but decent.”
“Dean,” you scolded. “She’s your mother. Don’t talk about her like that.”
He only shrugged. The rest of the way was quiet. You were in front of the resort in no time. Your phone buzzed in your pocket. Jess. She’d meet you in your room in fifteen minutes then you’d head down to the spa.
You decided to take a shower before meeting her. The water helped ease the tension in your shoulders. You headed out of the bathroom and found Dean laying in bed. His ankles crossed as he flipped through the channels.
“You owe me a couples massage session,” he mumbled.
“You wish, Winchester,” you rolled your eyes. “Alright, I’ll be back in an hour or so, do I meet you here or you have plans with Sam?”
“Sam and I are gonna hit the bar.”
“Okay,” you nodded. “Don’t drink too much and remember, mister, you have a girlfriend. So don’t go around hitting on chicks.”
“I’d never do that,” he winked. “Now go get your massage and see if you learn something from them so you can give me the best back massage ever.”
“Keep on dreaming, Dean.”
You met Jess at the spa. The masseuses handed you your robes and waited for you to get changed. The moment the woman started to pour her scented oils on your skin, you melted.
“So what has gotten into Mary anyway?” Jess asked. “She wasn’t too rude, but there was no reason for her to ask you all that stuff.”
“I don’t know,” you sighed. “I mean, she just wants the best for her son but I felt like I was being interrogated.”
“Yeah, I know,” she smiled sympathetically. “I had to kick Dean under the table so he’d do something,” you chuckled. “Men are so freaking dumb sometimes.”
“Yeah, they are,” you sighed. “Jess? Can I ask you a question?”
“Of course you can.”
“Does Dean seem different to you?”
“I haven’t spent much time with him lately, but he seems the same to me.”
“Are you sure he hasn’t been acting any different?”
“I am, Y/N. Now where is this coming from?”
“He’s just been very affectionate lately.”
“Affectionate?”
“Yeah. He’s just, uh- I mean, he always cared for me. Dean is so caring. But lately I feel like something might have changed.”
“And why is that?”
“We’re sleeping on the same bed. It’s not new. We used to have sleepovers and share a bed all the time, but we’d never cuddle or anything. Today, I woke up and he was spooning me. He was so close. His body was pressed against mine, his head buried in my neck. Then I felt his thing,” you blushed and Jess chuckled. “Not to mention that last night before we went to sleep he was a little weird. His hand was on my cheek and he was staring at me as if he could see my soul. Then he kissed my forehead and it lasted longer than it usually does. Now I don’t know if I’m overthinking this or not. I’m just a little confused.
“You like him, Y/N,” Jess’ smile reached her eyes.
“Of course I do, he’s my best friend.”
“No, Y/N, you really like him.”
“Are you not hearing me? He’s my best friend. Of course I really like him.”
“Are you dumb or what? I mean love, Y/N. And not in a friendly way. I mean passion.”
“Pfft, you’re delusional.”
“You know I’m not.”
Silence fell in the room. You did your best to focus on the pressure of the masseuse's fingers pressing and pulling at your skin. The things Jess just said wouldn’t stop crossing  your mind. You knew she was wrong. You and Dean were just friends. But what if she was right?
You walked back to your room and figured Dean was in the shower. You walked to the window and opened. The soothing breeze hitting your skin ever so gently, sending goosebumps throughout your body.
“You’re back,” Dean beamed.
You turned to him. He was in jeans and a fitted grey t-shirt. His wet hair spiked in every possible direction.
“I am,” you smiled. “How was it to hit the bar with Sam?” You asked when you felt his presence beside you. Just like that, it became really hard to have a casual conversation with him.
“It was alright,” he chuckled. “How was the massage?”
“Best thing that ever happened to me,” you groaned in pleasure as you remembered how good it felt.
“Better than meeting me?”
“Almost,” you chuckled.
Dean moved behind you. His arms wrapped around your middle, his chest pressed flush against your back. You stiffened at first, but you couldn’t help but melt into his touch.
“You smell good,” he leaned to your neck. His gravel voice was barely upon a whisper. The feeling of his hot breath against your skin sent shivers down your spine.
You tried to focus on anything but the feeling of having him this close. Your eyes were fixated on the blue sea, on the way the waves crashed onto the shore. But it was impossible.
“Hmmm, really good,” he nearly moaned.
Then you remembered. He had a few drinks with Sam a bit earlier. This was the alcohol talking.
Dean turned you in his arms, his green eyes stared deep into your soul. The air seemed to have become thicker. Or maybe he was just too close. His eyes wandered to your lips. He leaned his head, his breath mingling with yours. You pulled away quickly, clearing your throat. Dean seemed to realize what was happening and turned his head. His eyes falling on the calm, blue waves.
“We should, uh, we should probably get ready,” you suggested.
“Yeah. Yeah, sure,” he nodded. “I’m, uh, I’m gonna get dressed in the bathroom.”
Dean grabbed his clothes and locked himself in the bathroom. You heard the water from the sink running. What was that? Was he out of his mind? He must have been. If you hadn’t pulled away when you did, he would have… no, he wouldn’t. He couldn’t do that. He was your best friend. He just got a little carried away by the alcohol and the scent of the oils that previously bathed your skin.
You put on light makeup. Just a concealer, a thin coat of foundation and mascara. You picked the dress from the hanger and put it on. The navy blue dress fitted perfectly in your body. It hit your midthighs and seemed appropriate for the occasion.
The sound of the door unlocking echoed through the silent room. Dean got out of the bathroom all dressed up. His suit hugged his body just the right way.
“Can you help me?” You asked.
“Sure.”
“I can’t zip it. Can you do it for me?”
Dean nodded, standing beside you. The soft skin of his fingers touched your skin slightly as he zipped the dress. A different kind of electricity ran through your body.
“Thanks,” you smiled as you turned to him. “Do you want me to…” you motioned to the tie in his hand.
“Yeah, sure.”
You tied his silky red tie, smoothing it’s length. His eyes were roaming around the room, looking anywhere but you. Adjusting the collar of his shirt, you felt his gaze on you. You don’t know how much time you spent staring into each other’s eyes, but after a while he cleared his throat, breaking the trance.
“You ready?”
“Mmhmm,” you nodded, grabbing your purse and slipping into your heels. “Shall we?”
You headed out of the room and walked down the street. The restaurant Sam and Jess picked was close to the resort. So you wouldn’t get tired of going on foot.
“Hold my hand, we gotta make this look convincing, remember?” You smiled.
His warm hand took a hold of yours before stepping into the restaurant. Most of the people were already there. Jess’ parents were so happy to see you. It had been a while since you had last seen them. Her sisters cheered when their eyes landed on you. They wouldn’t stop giving you malicious looks and wiggling their eyebrows because you got the other brother.
Mary sat beside Dean. At first you were nervous she’d try to make any questions. You knew Dean wouldn’t let her do it, but you still had that feeling. That dissipated the second they started serving dinner. It was delicious and you were glad they had picked this restaurant. The room was filled with laughter and happy conversations.
After everyone had finished eating, Sam and Jess distributed gifts to their parents. They made their toasts, thanking everyone for supporting them and being there for their special day.
“I’ve been waiting for dessert the whole night,” Dean leaned, whispering to you.
“Me too,” you chuckled.
“Though it would be a whole lot better if it were pie.”
They started serving the cake and you were almost drooling. Just as you took the first bite, Mary called you.
“I need to go to the restroom,” her voice was barely audible. “Y/N, do you mind coming with me?”
You were a little taken aback, but agreed anyway. You knew she wanted to talk to you.
“Don’t let anyone touch my cake,” you asked Dean.
You followed Mary to the restroom. You tried to look for any sign of anger on her face but it didn’t show.
“I’m sorry for what I did earlier,” she smiled weakly. “I should have treated you better. I don’t know what got into me.”
“Mary, it’s okay. Really. You were just looking out for Dean.”
“He loves you, you know?” You smiled. “I’ve seen the way he looks at you as if you were his whole world. John used to look at me that way when we were your age.”
You didn’t know what to say to her. A part of you wanted to tell her it wasn’t real. He was faking it and he needed her to buy it. But another part of you wanted to believe in what she said.
“I’m glad he has someone like you, Y/N.”
“Thanks, Mary,” you smiled.
God, she’s gonna hate you if she ever finds out the truth.
“Now let’s go. I’ve stolen much of your time already.”
You made your way back to the table feeling a lot lighter.
“Everything okay?” Dean asked once you sat beside him.
“Yeah,” you smiled. Finally, you’d be able to eat your cake. Except there was no cake. “Where’s my dessert, Dean?”
“What?”
“Where’s my cake?” You made sure to not speak too loud for others to hear.
“I don’t know,” he sounded nervous.
“I can’t believe you ate my cake.”
“No, I didn’t,” he chuckled.
“Of course you did! You’re laughing,” you argued. “I knew I shouldn’t have trusted you with my food.”
“Look, I’m laughing because you’re angry. I swear I didn’t do it,” he held his hands up in surrender.
“If it wasn’t you, then who was it?”
“I don’t know. It probably was that kid,” he pointed to Jess’ nephew.
“Of course, Dean, blame it on the kid,” you hissed with a roll of your eyes.
“Look, I’m gonna get you another piece, alright?”
“You better.”
He did get another piece of dessert. It was delicious and you were as happy as a kid in a candy shop.
The rehearsal dinner came to an end and people started to leave.
“You guys are not heading back with us?” You asked the happy, soon-to-be-married couple.
“No, we still have some things to wrap up here,” Sam smiled.
“Okay,” you nodded. “You were amazing today. Everything was beautiful. I can’t wait for tomorrow,” you smiled, hugging Sam before hugging your best friend. “I love you both.”
You and Dean headed out of the restaurant and started to walk back to the resort.
“Do you wanna go for a walk?”
“I’d love that,” you said.
You walked to the beach. You breathed in the ocean carried air. Dean took off his shoes and you did the same. The soft golden sand seemed to caress your feet with its comforting warmth. The night sky along the calm sea looked like a painting.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Dean said as he noticed your eyes shine just as bright as the stars in the sky.
“It is,” you smiled.
“Let’s go in there.”
“What?” You turned abruptly to him.
“Yeah, why not?” He shrugged. “There’s no here. We can go in fully clothed or not.”
“Okay.”
“We’re doing this fully clothed or not?”
“Fully clothed.”
He nodded, shrugging off his suit, and loosening his tie. Dean took your heels from you and placed it along with his pieces of clothes on the sand. Distant enough so nothing would get wet.
Dean held out his hand for you to take. He grinned before running into the water with you. You squeaked when the cold water hit your legs.
“Shit, it’s cold,” goosebumps crept up on your skin.
“Stop being such a baby,” he teased, splashing water at you.
“Oh, you did not!”
You did the same to him. Dean chuckled, splashing more water at you. You didn’t know how much time you spent acting like kids. The sound of waves of laughter echoed through the quiet beach. You pushed him and he fell, getting completely drenched. His arms reached out for you, bringing you down with him.
“You’re so mean,” you squealed.
“You started it,” he stood to his feet, holding his hands out.
“No, you started it,” he pulled you up, and once again you were too close to his body.
“Admit it, you had fun,” his hand reached to your face, brushing a few damp strands off your face.
“It was too cold,” you shivered.
“But you had fun.”
“I did,” you smiled.
“Let’s head back, shall we?”
You nodded. Dean picked up your stuff and put his jacket around your shoulders.
“Thanks,” you smiled.
“Just making sure you won’t freeze to death, sweetheart,” he sneaked his arm around your waist.
You walked in silence. You quietly thanked once you saw the resort get closer and closer. Your sore feet were more than glad to be back in your room.
“We should try that jacuzzi, huh?” He suggested.
“Yeah, we should,” you sighed, heading to the bathroom.
“I meant together, like-“
“I know what you meant, Dean,” you said, turning on the jacuzzi. “Now grab that champagne in the mini-fridge.”
He nodded and did as told. You could see there was something off about him.
“You sure you’re okay with the naked thing?” He asked.
“Yeah, of course,” you checked on the temperature and turned on the jets. “Are you?”
“Yeah, of course. Why wouldn’t I be?” He was nervous. You chuckled. “What?”
“Nothing, it’s just that you seem a little nervous.”
“I’m not nervous.”
“Okay, good,” you shrugged. “Can you, uh…” you turned to him.
“Yeah, sure,” he slowly unzipped your dress.
The dress pooled around your feet. Dean swallowed thickly at the sight of you in your underwear. His breath was caught in his throat. You slipped off your panties and he instinctively licked his lips. He was glad you had your back to him.
“Alright, I’m not gonna be the only one naked here, right?” You turned to him.
“Wanna see what I’m wearing underneath all this?”
You frowned. He unbuttoned his white shirt and tugged down his pants. You blurt out laughing.
“I can’t believe you have a Scooby-Doo underwear!”
“Cool right?” He grinned, pulling off his boxers.
“It’s awesome, you beamed.
You hopped on the jacuzzi, the warm water making you relax instantly. Dean poured champagne for the both of you.
“So I was thinking,” you said before taking a sip at your drink. “Can I grab your butt in front of your parents?”
“No, Y/N, you can’t grab my butt in front of my parents.”
“But it’s so perky,” you pleaded.
“Y/N,” he gave a warning look.
“Okay, okay. I won’t grab your butt in front of your parents.”
“Great,” he smiled. “Can I kiss you in front of my parents?”
“Sure,” you shrugged. “It doesn’t have to be right in front of your parents, you know?”
“Yeah?”
“Sure. I mean, friends kiss sometimes.”
“Really?”
“I’m actually surprised you’re asking me this, but yeah, Dean, they do,” you said. “How do you think Jess and I learned how to kiss?”
“Oh, I never thought about that part.”
You chuckled. Both of you fell into silly conversations. It made you forget you were actually naked in front of him.
“We should get out,” he said. “It’s getting late.”
“Yeah, we should.”
Dean stood up, picking your glass from your hand.
“See, it’s perky,” you said.
He chuckled.
“Here you go,” he took your hand in his, helping you out of the tub. Dean wrapped a towel around your shoulders before wrapping one around his waist.
“Dean?”
“What?”
“I dare you to kiss me,”
His green eyes widened, but also looked for any sign that indicated you were kidding. His hand came up to cup your cheek. His plump lips captured yours in a sweet kiss. They glided over each other as if you had done this before. You wrapped your arms around his neck, your towel falling in the process. He deepened the kiss as you parted your lips, allowing his tongue to delve into your mouth. His hand on your hip, squeezed your skin, drawing you closer to him. His tongue traced yours in a sensual dance. You tasted the champagne in his warm muscle. A moan was muffled by his lips.
The need for air came sooner than you hoped for. You parted. Neither of you dared to open your eyes. Dean pecked your lips softly before resting his forehead against yours. His thumb caressed your flushed cheek.
“I should, uh, I should go get changed,” he cleared his throat.
You nodded, watching him exit the room. Your fingers traced up to your kiss swollen lips. God, you were screwed.
——— “You look so beautiful. I think I’m gonna cry,” you said to Jess.
She looked perfect. Her gown looked even more beautiful than you remembered.
“Sam won’t know what hit him,” you smiled.
“I’m so glad I chose you as my maid of honor,” she grinned, hugging you. “I love you.”
“I love you too,” you kissed her cheek. “I need to get going. It’s almost time.”
You headed to the lounge to meet Dean. He was standing there in his tuxedo. You could swear you had never seen him this handsome.
His eyes widened once he saw you. Dean nearly gasped. The rose gold gown fitted your body perfectly, hugging every curve.
“You look, wow,” he smiled. “You look beautiful.”
“You don’t look bad yourself,” you smiled, pecking his lips. “Shall we?”
He linked his arm with yours, guiding you towards the beach. Everything looked so beautiful. It looked as if it had come out of a movie.
You waited for your queue and walked down the aisle to the altar. You and Dean stood on opposite sides.
A trail of goosebumps ran through your body once you spotted Jess. She grinned wide as her eyes found Sam’s. It was happening. Their dream was coming true.
“Family and friends, we’re gathered here today to celebrate the love of Samuel and Jessica.”
You forced your eyes away from the couple only to meet Dean’s green orbs staring at you. His lips curled into a smile. You held each other’s gaze. Your cheeks started to heat up at the intensity of his look.
Sam and Jess read their vows. You cursed at yourself for not focusing on them. Dean’s eyes were drawing you to him. Silly smiles spread wide on your lips.
The ceremony was beautiful. It was better than you and Jess expected. They were pronounced husband and wife and everyone headed to the wedding reception. They danced to the sound of their favorite song. Everyone could see how much they loved each other and how happy they were.
You and Dean made your toasts separately. Both Jess and Sam teared up a little. After the toasts, most people headed to the dance floor.
“Would you like to dance?” Dean held his hand for you as a slow song echoed through the room.
“With you? Always.”
He guided you to where couples were dancing. His hands were placed on your hips as you wrapped your arms around his neck, both of you swaying to the rhythm of the song.
“So where does this leave us huh?” He asked.
“What do you mean?”
“You know what happened last night. That wasn’t just two friends kissing. I know it and you know it too.”
“I know, you’re right,” you looked up at him.
“Good,” he smiled. “So no more fake dating?”
“No more fake dating.”
He pecked your lips into a passionate kiss and the whole world fell away.
“Call me selfish, but I don’t ever want anyone else to touch you,” he said as you parted. “Not even your friends kissing you.”
“Same goes for you, Winchester.”
———
“You’re not gonna join them?” Dean asked behind you, wrapping his arms around your middle.
“Nah, let them have their fun,” you said, watching the group of women gather not so far as they waited for Jess to throw the bouquet.
They all cheered and screamed when she tossed it. You jumped when the flowers fell on your feet.
“Oh, you’ve gotta be kidding me,” you rolled your eyes.
“It’s way too soon, sweetheart,” Dean chuckled.
“Alright, ladies,” you announced, holding up the flowers. “$20 and the bouquet is yours,” they all laughed. “No? Ten bucks maybe?”
Dean chuckled, pressing his lips to your cheek.
“You’re one of a kind, sweetheart.”

From the curved entry of her front door, Dean watches as his best friend, his rock, weeps. Another failed relationship that she no doubt blames herself for. But the truth was, she was attracted to a certain type of guy. A clean shiny penny on the outside, but on the inside, worth less than that. Not a single man she had dated in the last few years had treated her even close to how she deserves to be treated. How he could treat her. How he wants to treat her. No matter what, Dean is always there to hold her, to pick up her pieces and hold them together until she finds the strength to move forward.
Y/N had been there for him when he hit rock bottom, too. A string of terrible relationships with women who would never hold a candle to her. That is why they failed. He knew that going in and yet, he kept going. For the last few years, she has been the only woman for him. He tries to make her see it, between douchebags, but he can never get through to her. He has been biding his time. Maybe, just maybe, tonight she’ll listen to him.
Because, he is an innocent man in this situation. He has never hurt her, has never lied to her. He hates seeing her like this. If she opens that door, lets someone in, fearful of a touch, living with the anger of having been a fool. She will not listen to anyone so nobody tells her a lie. For three weeks, he stops over each night after work to find her in this state of pain and anguish. With measured movements, he lowers himself to the sofa beside her, pulling her blanket a little tighter around her. Y/N involuntarily flinches at the soft touch.
Sniffling and wiping at her eyes, Y/N pushes him away. “I don’t want to talk to you right now.”
“I know you don’t, sweetheart, and you don’t have to. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to see me either, but I wanted to see you. See how you’re holding up,” Dean’s soft voice rumbles through her small living room.
Dean murmurs gently, his words encroaching further on her space. “I’m not going to talk to you if that’s not what you want. Please call me later, Y/N. You can’t ignore me forever. Let me know you’re okay.”
“I don’t owe you an explanation, Dean,” she snaps, immediately regretting her words, her tone. Dean is always here. Each and every time she fails, he is right here to mend her broken pieces. “I’m sorry.”
“No, you don’t owe me anything, Y/N/N. I just want you to feel better, and I’ll do anything to see you smile again,” he whispers, pressing a kiss to her temple. “I’ll be back tomorrow.”
With that, Dean rises from the worn sofa, dropping an envelope from his jacket pocket before turning and leaving, the door clicking loudly behind him. He uses the spare key she gave him to secure the lock, a heavy sigh leaving his lips. “I love you, Y/N.”
~*~
The daily alarm wakes her from a fitful slumber. Y/N blinks slowly, trying to clear the cobwebs of sorrow and tears from her heavy eyes. The first rays of sunlight dance across flecks of dust floating in the air, landing on the cluttered coffee table, illuminating the plain white envelope, her name written across the front in Dean’s simple block lettering.
A small hand snakes out from the beneath the warm blanket, snatching the envelope from its resting place. With shaking fingers, Y/N opens it and scans the letters scrawled across the page. She takes a deep breath and starts at the beginning.
Y/N,
I know you’ve been through some shit, none of which you deserve. None of it was your fault, so stop blaming yourself. You’ve been my rock so long, I don’t know what I’d do without you by my side. I’ll be here for you through anything, good or bad, come Hell or highwater.
I know you don't want to hear what I say. I know you're gonna keep turning away. But, I've been there and if I can survive, then I know you can, too. I can keep you alive. I'm not above going through it again, for you. I’ll do anything for you.
I know you’re only protecting yourself. I know you’re thinking of somebody else. Someone who hurt you, but I’m not above making up for the love you’ve been denying you could ever feel. I'm not above doing anything to restore your faith if I can. Faith in humanity, in men, in me.
I’ve held on to these feelings for you so long, too afraid to open my big mouth and lose the best thing that ever happened to me. But I can’t keep it to myself any more. I don’t just want to be the one to comfort you when you’re hurting, I want to be the one to protect you and keep you safe, so you don’t hurt anymore. I want to be the reason you smile, because you’ve been mine since the moment we met.
Some people say they will never believe another promise they hear in the dark, because they only remember too well they heard somebody tell them before. I know you’ve heard them before, but this is my first promise to you, I will never make you a promise I don’t intend to keep.
I don’t want to sleep alone every night. I want you by my side, to curl into you, create a safe space for you to just be, to feel, to be loved.
But, I've been there and if I can survive, I can keep you alive. I'm not above going through it again. I'm not above being cool for a while, so if you're cruel to me I'll understand. That's your decision, but I'm not below anybody I know if there's a chance of resurrecting a love. I'm not above going back to the start to find out where the heartache began. To hold you until you believe the promises I whisper. To hold you until you believe that I’ll never hurt you. To hold you until you believe in you, in me...in us.
I’d never do anything to ruin what we have. I guess some people hope for a miracle cure, or some people just accept the world as it is. But, I'm not willing to lay down and die without you, not without a fight. I’ll fight for us, but more importantly, I’ll fight for you.
All my love always,
Dean
Through the tears, Y/N reads his letter over and over until she can no longer see. Wiping her eyes, she unlocks her phone and shoots him a text. With new found resolve, she jumps in the shower. When she emerges from the steam, feeling better than she has in months, she finds her best friend sitting on her sofa.
“Thank you for coming, Dean. After I pushed you away last night, I didn’t know if you would,” she whispers, taking a seat next to him.
“I’ll always be here when you need me, or want me. You know that, Y/N,” Dean assures her, taking her hands in his. “I see you read my letter.”
“It’s always been you, I was just too scared and selfish, and foolish to see it,” she replies, shaking her thoughts loose. “I never thought my feelings would be reciprocated. Nobody’s ever written me a love letter before.”
“I knew I couldn’t say all of that out loud, I was so scared to say anything, I didn’t want to lose you. I guess we’re a couple of idiots, huh?” Dean chuckles.
“We found each other. That’s all that matters,” Y/N smiles, resting her head on his shoulder.
“I don’t know about you, but I could use a nap,” Dean yawns, running his fingers through her hair.
“Didn’t sleep well?” she questions, looking up at him.
“Not when I slept on the floor outside your door.”
“You did not!” Y/N smacks his shoulder playfully.
“I bet the neighbors know my name,” he grins sheepishly, pointing at his work shirt, his name clearly on display.
“Not how you hoped that would happen, is it?” Y/N giggles, teasing him.
“It made you laugh, though. I missed it; your laugh, your smile,” Dean says, cupping her cheek. “I missed you.”
“I’m sorry,” she mumbles.
“Don’t be. Where there is no struggle, there is no strength. We will be strong together,” Dean vows.
“Did you just quote Oprah Winfrey?” she laughs.
“I did. You’re a bad influence on me, what can I say?” he shrugs.
“Let’s get some rest. We can be bad together later,” she winks, rising from her seat and reaching out her hand for him.
“Can we fight so we can have some angry make-up sex later?” Dean smirks, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Slow down, Winchester. Nap first. We’re only about ten minutes in, I don’t know if I’m ready to have our first fight yet,” she scoffs.
“Well, if it helps, it will probably be my fault and I’ll spend hours apologizing,” Dean offers.
“So the neighbors really know your name?” she giggles.
“As long as you keep laughing and smiling, I don’t care what they call me, as long as you call me yours.”

Taking Care of You
Pairing: Dean x Reader
Warnings: Passing out, Little bit of angst, Fluff
Word Count: 1,774
Square Filled: Bed Sharing (Fluff Bingo)
Square Filled: Bed Sharing (Dean Bingo)
Request by @theichabbieclub:  Hello !!! Can I have Dean Winchester x reader? Reader has been so caught up in her work that they forget to eat. They get extremely lightheaded and stumble a little. Dean steadies them and he is worried when he finds out they forgot to eat. While he is making food they faint and land (luckily) on the couch. When he's done, he comes back,at first he thinks that they're just laying down but he kinda freaks out when he realizes that reader is unconscious. ( I forget to eat sometimes) THANK YOU🥺💚
A/N: This was written for @spnfluffbingo, @spndeanbingo, and @supernatural-jackles Bi Weekly Writing Challenge with the prompt. “We found each other. That’s all that matters.”
Tumblr media
“Take a break.” You jump a bit and you turn around to see Dean walking into the library.
“I can’t,” you mumble before looking down at the book that you have in your hand. Dean walks over and carefully slides the book out of your hand before setting it down onto the table.
“Yes you can,” Dean says. You roll your eyes a bit before leaning over, but Dean blocks you before you’re able to grab the book off of the table.
“Dean…”
“How many hours of sleep have you gotten since yesterday?”
You take a deep breath. “I don’t know. Three maybe.”
“Go take a nap.”
“Dean, you and Sam told me that you need my help with this case. You two can do your part now please let me do mine.”
“You won’t be able to help at all if you keep running yourself into the ground.”
“I’m alright,” you tell Dean stubbornly as you turn around to walk over to a bookshelf. You’re halfway there when you lose your balance and almost fall to the floor.
“Woah!” Dean hollers as he throws his arm out to catch you before you face plant. He helps you to get your balance and you give him a grateful smile.
“Thanks.”
“No problem,” Dean says. “Now please go take a nap or eat something or whatever it is you need to do to take care of yourself. I’ll take over for a while and you can relax.”
“No,” you tell him. “Dean, you won’t hardly let me hunt anymore and I get it because I keep you both distracted because you worry about me too much. Fine. I’ll give up hunting. But I will not give up helping you and Sam and you are going to have to get that through your thick head.”
“Sweetheart, I’m not saying that you should quit helping us,” Dean tells you softly. “You have no clue how much Sammy and I appreciate everything that you do for us. All I’m asking is that you slow down a bit to take care of yourself.”
“I promise you that I am taking care of myself, Dean.”
“Okay, then, what all have you eaten today and don’t you dare lie to me.”
You think about it for a while before you answer Dean. “I guess that I’ve kind of forgotten to do that today.”
“(Y/N),” Dean tells you as his eyes widen a bit.
“Sorry, but it isn’t exactly a priority to me right now.”
“If you were actually taking care of yourself then it would be,” Dean tells you. “Take a seat. I’m going to go cook you something to eat.”
“Dean…” He ignores your arguing and turns to walk on out of the library anyways. Sighing, you grab the book off of the table once more and open it up.
As you read, your eyes start to lose their focus and it almost looks like the room is spinning. You get the same light-headed feeling that you’d had earlier when you tripped, so you decide to play it safe and sit down in one of the chairs in the library. It isn’t long until the entire room looks like it’s spinning once more before everything goes black.
“You didn’t give me a specific request for anything, but I know you said that you like tomato soup when you don’t feel good, so I hope that’s okay,” Dean tells you as he walks into the library carrying a bowl. Dean frowns when he sees that you’ve fallen asleep in one of the chairs. He knows that you need rest but he also knows that you need to eat while your soup’s hot. “(Y/N),” Dean says softly as he sets the bowl down onto the table in front of you. “(Y/N), sweetheart.”
Dean reaches over to gently push some hair out of your face and he frowns a bit when you don’t move. “(Y/N), you need to eat,” Dean tells you as he pushes at your shoulder a bit. He still doesn’t get a reaction out of you and his heart starts pounding a bit when he realizes that you’re not just asleep.
“Hey!” Dean hollers as he moves you a bit harder than he was. A small gasp escapes you and you slowly open your eyes. Dean lets out a breath of relief when your eyes open. “You scared me there for a minute, sweetheart.”
“I was only asleep,” you mutter as you let your eyes slide shut once more.
“Hey, don’t go to sleep until you’ve eaten a little something for me,” Dean tells you softly as he helps you to sit up a bit. “I don’t want to argue with you, sweetheart, but I gotta tell you that you weren’t just asleep. You passed out on me.”
“No I didn’t,” you mumble.
“Yes you did and now you need to try to stay awake so that you’re able to get some food in you,” Dean tells you. “I promise that I’ll let you go to sleep if you’ll eat a little bit.”
“Fine,” you sigh as you lazily reach over to grab the spoon. You have to admit that the soup feels good going down your throat, and yet the thought of curling up underneath your warm blankets and going to sleep is even more appealing. “There. I ate a little bit and now you have to let me go to bed.”
“Half the bowl,” Dean says.
“Another spoonful,” you argue.
Dean sighs. “If you eat all of it then I’ll carry you to bed and I’ll even lay down with you,” he negotiates.
“Fine, I’ll let you win,” you smile up at him.
“I know how to get my way with you,” Dean smirks as he leans over your chair to press a kiss to your cheek.
“Yeah, you think that you know me soo well,” you tease as you take another bite. When every drop of soup is gone from the bowl, you look over at Dean and hold your arms up at him. Dean chuckles as he walks over and bends down to take you into his arms. You wrap your arms tightly around his neck and you lay your head over onto his shoulder.
“Your room or mine?” Dean asks you softly.
“Doesn’t matter,” you mumble as you completely relax in Dean’s arms.
“Don’t go to sleep on me yet, sweetheart,” Dean chuckles as he carries you into his room. He carefully lays you down onto his bed and you curl up on the side that he usually sleeps on. “Scoot,” Dean laughs as he pushes you over before laying down beside of you. He wraps an arm around your waist and pulls you in tightly to him.
“Thanks for taking care of me,” you whisper into Dean’s chest.
“You don’t have to thank me for that, pretty girl,” Dean tells you softly. “But I do want you to start doing a better job of it yourself. You can’t keep running yourself down like that.”
“I know,” you breathe out. “I’m sorry, Dean.”
“I worry about you.
“I know.”
“I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.”
“I know.”
“You know a lot then,” Dean teases as he tucks your head underneath his chin. You giggle and hide your face in the side of his neck.
“How on earth did I find you?” you ask him.
“Actually, I think that I’m the one who found you,” Dean says.
“Well, one of us is wrong here and it isn’t me,” you tease.
Dean chuckles as he pulls the blankets up over you. “We found each other. That’s all that matters.”
“Agreed,” you tell him as you snuggle down deeper into his arms.
“(Y/N), sweetheart, we honestly do appreciate you helping us out but you have got to promise me that you’ll take a break every once in a while. Get out and have some fun or take a nice long bath. Eat something.”
“I get so focused on helping you and Sam that I forget to take care of myself sometimes.”
“Well, please don’t do that anymore because you honestly scared me today.”
“I’m sorry,” you frown.
“It’s just… Sweetheart, you didn’t ask to be thrown into this life yet here you are and you deserve to take a break and do the things that you love to do.”
“You didn’t ask to be thrown into it either and yet you still don’t take a break.”
“Yeah, but I could have gotten out of it if I wanted to.”
“So could I,” you tell him softly. “If I have to start taking better care of myself and doing the things that I love to do then so do you.”
“Oh, sweetheart, I do that everyday anyways,” Dean tells you.
“Oh, like what?” you ask him.
“Taking care of you,” Dean says softly. Your heart melts a bit and you turn your head up so that you can see his face.
“Seriously?”
“Yeah,” Dean smiles softly. “I mean, someone has to do it because you suck at it.” Dean grunts as you elbow him playfully and you let out a small laugh.
“I’ll do better at taking care of myself,” you tell him. “Although I don’t know why I would want to because you obviously do a much better job at it then me.”
“Ah, she admits it,” Dean laughs as you roll your eyes a bit at him.
“Go to sleep, Winchester.”
“Alright, but I’m getting up tomorrow and I’m going to cook you a big breakfast and you are going to eat so that you don’t scare me like that and pass out on me anymore.”
“Okay, Mom.”
“Brat,” Dean chuckles as he presses his lips gently to your temple.
“I’m your brat,” you giggle. “Dean, thanks for letting me sleep in your bed.”
“Like you’d have it any other way,” he chuckles.
“Your bed’s more comfortable then mine is though.”
“They’re the same thing.”
“Yeah, but you’re here to hold me and that makes it more comfortable.”
“And I couldn’t hold you just as well on your bed?”
“Yeah, but my bed doesn’t smell like you.”
“It should with how often I sleep there.”
“I don’t make the rules.”
“What?” Dean chuckles.
“I don’t know. I’m too tired to make any sense,” you yawn.
“Well, then go to sleep,” Dean chuckles as he kisses your lips. “I’m right here to take care of you if you need me.”
You smile and you let your eyes slide shut, mumbling one more thing before you let the sleep pull you under. “I’ll always need you.”

Remember
Summary: After breaking up with Dean, a bittersweet anniversary rolls around. You prepare to spend it using wine to help forget, but the arrival of the past at your doorstep changes things.
Pairing: Dean x Reader
Square filled: In vino veritas for @spnfluffbingo
Word Count: 1667
Warnings: Mark of Cain!Dean, breakup, angst, swearing, indecision, reconciliation, second chances
A/N: This is for @supernatural-jackles SPN Bi-Weekly Writing Challenge. I used 8 of the prompts, so they’re all bolded for easy finding. It’s also for a request @deans-baby-momma made for my Writer + Reader Challenge with the prompt “I am not losing you again.”
Tumblr media
It took you three glasses of wine to get any kind of relief, but, after downing the last lingering drops of your bottle, you were finally starting to feel a little numb. Although, truth was, you sincerely doubted that was all the wine’s doing. You’d been pretty numb coming in. You were every year when this day came around, even after all this time.
Your anniversary. The day Dean had told you he loved you and wanted to be with you. The day your lives had forever been changed. And, now, the day that made you numb.
Because, it wasn’t really your anniversary. Not anymore. It hadn’t been since the day he’d walked out. The day he’d let you go.
It had been three days since they found Charlie. Three days and Dean hadn’t said a word.
You were trying to give him space, time to come to terms with the shock. You knew he blamed himself, they both did, Sam for calling her for help, and Dean for...well, everything.
Sam had begun to open up. You were like a sister to him, and he found comfort in that, but Dean put up his walls, walls you hadn’t seen since before you’d started dating. After a few more days of long drives and bottles of whiskey, you’d had enough.
“Dean, talk to me. I know you’re hurting, but we can get through this together. I know how you feel…”
That did it. He slammed his tumbler down, the whiskey sloshing over the sides. His voice was curt, hard, filled with none of the love you’d grown to expect. “You have no idea how I feel.”
You tried to reach your hand out to his, but he shrugged it away, turning his back. “Stop it, Y/N. You can’t help me.”
“Of course I can,” you insisted, standing your ground and moving to face him. “We’re partners, remember? The Mark isn’t stronger than that.”
“It’s stronger than everything!” he yelled, so forcefully you had to take a step back. His gaze softened when he registered your reaction, but he quickly hardened it again, shutting himself off from you. “This isn’t going to work anymore.”
You tried to process his words, shaking your head. “No, it will, Rowena will figure it out.”
Dean shook his head. “That’s not what I meant, Y/N.”
A sense of foreboding flooded through you, and you rushed to deny it. “What, us? You can’t.”
You tried to go to him, but he crossed his arms, holding you back. “Loving me is a death sentence, one I won’t let you risk.”
Those were the last words he ever said to you. He left that night, refusing to return your phone calls. By the time Rowena had found a way to remove the mark, you were the one who had left.
You left the life, found an apartment, tried to move on. You managed to find a way not to think about him all the time anymore, but it was impossible on a day like this.
Deciding the wine wasn’t doing enough to chase away the past, you set it down, standing to search for something stronger. That’s when you heard the knock on the door.
Assuming it was just a package, you ignored it, but they knocked again, more insistently this time. “Okay, I’m coming!” you yelled out, rolling your eyes at the interruption in your wallowing.
Whispering under your breath, you walked towards the door. “Whatever it is better be important…”
“Y/N, it’s me. Open up.”
Dean. A million thoughts ran through your head at the exact same time. Confusion, excitement...anger. Your whole body went into defense mode, stiffening. “I don’t want to talk to you right now.”
You could hear his hand make contact with the door again, but it was softer this time, lingering in the heaviness of his pause.
“Please, I just need you to do this one thing for me.”
That just made you even angrier. “You need me?! Well, that’s just great for you, Dean, but what about when I needed you?” You shook your head, refusing to let him in. “Go away.”
Another pause, this time filled with a regretful sigh. “You can’t ignore me forever, Y/N. Please, just let me explain.”
You opened your mouth to deny him, but his words still held power. A pull you couldn’t resist, and you suddenly ached for him. Opening the door, you tried to hide just how much the mere sight of him affected you. “You have five minutes.”
The smirk that spread across his face made you question your decision almost immediately. “Don’t make me kick your ass, Dean.”
He chuckled, following you further into the main room. Instinctively, he began scoping the place out, his eyes landing on a pair of men’s boots just inside the door. “Are you...dating anyone?”
You almost laughed at the way his voice cracked, raising and dropping an octave with alarm. You thought about reassuring him, but it wouldn’t have been as fun that way. “Maybe. I don’t owe you an explanation.”
Looking back, you caught the hurt that flashed through his eyes, and you instantly felt guilty. “No, Dean, I’m not dating anyone.” His relief was practically audible, his whole body sagging. “They’re my roommates. He’s at his girlfriend’s for the night.”
“Oh,” he muttered, shuffling his feet awkwardly. That time, you really did laugh.
“Oh? That’s all you have to say?”
“No,” he rushed out, still stumbling like he was a teenager on a first date. “No, I just, good. That’s good.”
You rolled your eyes, smiling in spite of yourself. “What the hell are you doing here, Dean?”
“I wasn’t sure if you’d remember, but today…”
You cut him off, firmly. “I’m fully aware of what day it is, Dean. Just answer the fucking question.”
His face dropped at the venom in your voice, crestfallen. “I wasn’t sure if you wanted to see me, but I wanted to see you. The Mark...it’s gone.”
What were you supposed to say to that? No contact after all this time, and that’s all he had to say to you? Fine, you’d return his vaguity with some of your own. “Congratulations, I guess. Is that it?”
He took in the empty bottle of wine on your table, raising an eyebrow. “So, our anniversary, huh?”
“I’m pretty sure it only counts as an anniversary if we’re still dating, Dean.” You spat the words at him, clenching your fists. “Your five minutes is almost up. Just say what you came here to say.”
He bit his lip, nodding and taking a step towards you. “Okay, cards on the table time. I miss you.”
You inhaled sharply, frustration rising inside you. “Dean…”
“Too little, too late, I know.” Another step closer. “I should’ve come after you the day you left, stopped you from ever leaving, but I…the Mark. I wasn’t good for you with it. I wasn’t me with it.”
“I know, I know, ‘loving you is a death sentence’, right? Let me guess, you were trying to protect me. I didn’t need protecting, Dean, I needed you.”
“I was an idiot, okay? I’m even more of an idiot for waiting this long to tell you. I get that.” He took a moment to stare at you, long and hard, a confident grin materializing. “But, I also know you love me. Even after all this time, I can still see it written all over your face.”
You tried to deny it. “Dean, I don’t know...”
He was so close to you now, you could feel the heat radiating off of him, even through all the layers of his shirts. It was like a damn magnet, and the intensity of his stare didn’t help. “Really, Y/N?” he whispered, brushing the tips of his fingers up your arm. “Because, I know. I love you. I never stopped, not for a second.” His fingers moved to your neck and up to your hair, featherlight, but, to you, it felt like a trail of fire, a fire your body practically craved after all this time. “I’ve thought about you every second of every day, about what it’d be like to see you again. Now that I have, I have absolutely no intention of leaving.”
You couldn’t stop yourself from leaning into his touch, your eyes closing softly. “I’m not going to lie, Dean. Of course I miss you. God, how could I not? But, does that even matter?”
“It’s all that matters,” he swore sincerely, anchoring his hand behind your neck to tug you even closer. “We found each other. That’s all that matters. I know I screwed up, but I swear, I’ll never hurt you like that ever again. I am not losing you again.”
Your eyes dropped to his lips, but you still hesitated. He was making circles with his finger at the base of your hair, driving you crazy, so you drew in a breath. It didn’t go unnoticed.
“You feel it, Y/N, I know you do. I love you and you love me. All you have to do is give us a chance. Give me a chance.” He leaned down, stopping just inches from your lips. “I dare you to kiss me.”
The way he said it was teasing, suggestive, but completely heartfelt. You knew he was waiting for you, for your consent. If you said no, he’d leave right now and never bother you again. But, you didn’t want him to leave.
“Dammit, Dean,” you whispered, a half second before you closed the distance, sealing your lips to his. It was a kiss filled with memories of the past and with promises of the future, filled with love and filled with forgiveness. You knew you wouldn’t be able to just pick up right where you left off, that it’d take time to rebuild that trust, but this? This felt right.
And, that was a damn good start.

“So what are we watching?” You asked as you slumped down on the yellow couch. You were dead on your feet after a long week of work but you just couldn't break tradition and not hang out with your best friend like every friday. Pulling the comforter close to your body, you let out a sigh of contentment. Truth be told, no matter how exhausted you were, you always looked forward to movie night.
“I picked the movie last friday, now it's your turn,” Dean handed you a bottle of beer and took a seat beside you. Your eyes sparkled with a glint of mischief, a knowing smile appeared on your face as Dean's lips curled up in disgust. “No chick flicks,” he warned.
“I get to call dibs on the movie tonight so I picked,” you paused for a second to create a dramatic effect, “The Proposal.”
“No!” Dean cried out in horror.
“Oh come on, it is not going to be that bad. Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock are in that movie.” you winked at him, making him groan and he picked up a cushion to cover his face, “Now, now don't be so dramatic.” He removed the cushion from his face and glared at you. He opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of the doorbell. “Pizza's here!” He exclaimed as he got up to open the door. You turned on the tv, opened Netflix and put on the movie.
“I don't understand how we can be best friends,” Dean grumbled as he came back to the room, “you eat your pizza with pineapple on it.” “It tastes good. You should try it one day.” you said and took the two boxes of food from his hand, setting them down on the table in front.
“Are you kidding me? Even if that becomes the only food available on earth, I still won't eat it. You can't put fruits on pizza,” he said, and took a slice from his own pizza and nestled into the comforter beside you.
“Tomato is a fruit, De,” you said, biting into the slice in your hand. You heard him mutter something under his breath which you ignored and shifted your focus to the movie playing on the screen. Halfway through the movie, you yawned and snuggled into your best friend. He wrapped his warm hands around you, pulling you closer to him. “You want to head back now?” He asked softly, leaning in to kiss your forehead.
“Nuh-uh,” you said, “I want to finish the movie. I need to see if Andrew got Margaret back .” That elicited a chuckle from Dean, the vibrations of his laugh shaking your body a little.
“You're so stubborn and they are gonna find each other, it's a chick flick for God's sake,” he said, “they love each other, clearly.”
“Speaking of love, Cas asked me out,” you said, making Dean sit up straight. “What'd you say?” He asked
“Yes obviously. I need to dive back into the dating life,” you shrugged, “and Cas seems like a good guy.”
“He is but I thought you wanted to wait because of what happened with you know ‘ he who must not be named’,” he said, and you picked up the remote to pause the movie.
“I can't live in the past. I need to move on. It has been two years since I've gone on a date and it's not like I'm getting engaged tomorrow. It's just a date,” you said, messing with the loose end of the comforter.
“As you wish. I'm just looking out for you.”
“I know. You always do,” you said, giving Dean a tight hug, “and I kinda miss doing it.”
“Doing what?” “Sex,” Dean's eyebrows shot up, “oh come on, it's not like I didn't use to have sex with….him.”
“So,” he gulped, “so you m-miss doing….it?”
“Kind of. My fingers are not enough, you know what I mean right?”
“Of course, of course,” Dean cleared his throat, blush crept up his neck.
“And it's not just sex, I miss the physical touch, I miss those things that are part of a relationship,” you said, “I need this and I think I'm ready.”
“If you think you're ready, then it's fine. I just don't want to see my best friend with a broken heart again.” he said, his fingers getting entangled in your hair, as he slowly massaged your scalp.
“That feels good,” you moaned, “after that hell of a meeting with Azazel, I needed this night De. Thank you for always being there.”
“You're my best friend. I'll always be there when you need me even if you make me watch stupid romcoms.” he grinned, “Azazel creating problems again?”
“He never seems to approve of the templates and designs I make no matter how hard I try to make them loveable and on the other hand, the shitty designs made by Abaddon always gets approved.” you groan.
“Why don't you change jobs?”
“I can't. It's not that simple. Life's going good. I don't want to disrupt it by going on a job hunt.” you sighed.
“What if you start working for my company?” You immediately turned your head towards Dean and looked at him with surprise clear in your eyes.
“No.” “Why not?
“I'm a graphic designer, De. I'm not built to work in your company,” you said.
“Be my PA. I really need a personal assistant to help me keep upto date with my schedule and I'm a mess after Charlie left.” Dean said.
“But what is my job criteria? That I'm your best friend? It's like taking advantage of you. I can't do that.”
“What if you work as my PA after being interviewed for the job?” He asked. “Fine, maybe I can give it a shot,” you said.
“Awesome! Meet me in my office on Monday, ten in the morning, sharp. I don't tolerate tardiness.” he said, slipping quickly in the work mode.
“Aye, aye captain.” You giggled, but a deep frown soon appeared on your face.
“What?” “What if it messes up our relationship?”
“It won't. I know how to separate my work life from my personal one,” Dean assured.
“I guess, then it's okay,” you smiled.
“So about your date with Cas. Where's he taking you?”
“I have no idea,” you chuckled, “he said it will be a surprise.”
“That's-that's great but he should know that you hate surprises,” Dean raised an eyebrow.
“He doesn't know me very well. I'll let that pass this one time,” you told Dean.
“Fair enough,” he laughed. You yawned once more, as you tried to fight the drowsiness that was threatening to take over you.
“You want to head back home now or you want to crash here tonight, sleepyhead?” Dean smiled.
“I don't think I can drive all the way in such a state. Do you mind if I crash here?” You grinned, knowing very well he didn't mind because you crashed in his guest rooms on most of the Friday nights. He rolled his eyes as he got up from the couch.
“I'll prepare the guest room.” You sleepily nodded at him. You didn't realise you had fallen asleep but you were soon woken up when you felt your body move.
“Sorry, didn't mean to wake you up. I'm taking you to bed,” you found yourself in Dean's arms as he headed towards the guest room with you, “you looked too peaceful sleeping. Go back to sleep.” He softly murmured. Dean gently placed you in the bed, pulling the cover upto your chest as you snuggled into the warmth of the covers. Within a few minutes, you had dozed off.
Tumblr media
“Morning, sunshine. Pancakes for you,” Dean's loud voice woke you up from your deep slumber the next morning. You sat up in your bed, as you rubbed the sleep from your eyes, the smell of pancakes hitting your nose.
“Breakfast in bed for my girl. Listen I gotta run to the office now,” he said as he handed you the plate of freshly cooked pancakes to you.
“It's Saturday!” You exclaimed.
“I know but Benny wanted to sign the deal with our company today. It's an important one, we can't let that go out of our hands,” he made you understand, “I'll be back within a few hours.”
“Sufe fing. I wif ve here,” you spoke with your mouth full, “Sure thing. I will be here.” You repeated your words after swallowing your food.
“Maggie will drop by. If you want to leave the house before I return, give the keys to her.” He said as he went back into his room to put his suit on.
“Hot damn,” you let out a low whistle as Dean stepped out of the room in his black suit, “Go get the deal, cowboy!” Dean did a full body laugh at your words, throwing his head backwards before he bid you goodbye and walked out of the door leaving you alone in his penthouse. Finishing your breakfast, you got up and got freshened up for the day. You picked up your phone and saw three texts from Cas.
“Meet me at 7.” “At the Season's 52.” “I'm looking forward to this.”
A smile crept onto your face, as you read the texts from him. “I need your help,” you shot a text to Ruby, “I've a date tonight. I don't know what to wear.” You waited for her to text back but instead of getting a text, you got a call from her.
“He finally asked you out?” She screamed from the other side of the phone.
“What do you mean “finally”?” You wondered.
“Oh come on, Y/N. How long have you two known each other?” “Uh-two months.”
“Two-wait, two months? You don't have a date with Dean?” She asked.
“No! Why would you think that?” You exclaimed, “Cas asked me out.”
“Cas? As in Castiel Novak? Dean's friend? And Dean's okay with it?”
“What's with the twenty questions, Ruby?” You said, annoyed at her questions, “And yes. Dean's fine with it. Why wouldn't he be? He is dating Lisa, in case you didn't remember. Now will you help me? I need a dress for tonight.”
Ruby agreed to go on a little shopping spree with you to find the perfect dress. Handing over the keys to Maggie, the housekeeper, you shot a text to Dean letting him know you were leaving his house. You waited for some time but he didn't text you back. You shrugged it off thinking he was probably busy with the meeting. Your whole afternoon was spent with Ruby as you tried to find a good dress for the date. She made you try on what seemed like a hundred dresses of different colours and style until a green bottleneck dress finally caught your eyes.
“This is a beautiful dress! You gotta try it on,” Your friend insisted.
“You sure? Look at the price - it's too expensive,” you pouted.
“Do you want to get laid tonight?” Ruby quirked her eyebrow.
“Yeah-I mean no….maybe,” you stutter.
“That dress - Cas won't be able to take his eyes off you tonight,” she smiled.
“Fine, if you insist.” Needless to say, the dress was a perfect fit but it was all for nothing.
Tapping on the hardwood of the table, you let out a frustrating sigh. Tears pricked at your eyes as you took a sip of the drink.
“Ma'am do you-are you going to-”
“Please bring the check. I'm done here,” you said, barely managing to keep your tears at bay. The waitress nodded and walked away from your table. You dialed up your best friend’s number and waited for him to pick up.
“Dean,” you said, sniffling a little as he picked up his phone after the third ring. “Y/N, you okay?” Dean asked.
“Yeah, yeah. Can you,” you cleared your throat, “Can you pick me up? I'm at Season’s 52.”
“Sure,” you heard shuffling on the other side, “I'll be there as soon as possible.”
“Okay,” you replied.
Tumblr media
“He just didn't show up,” you sniffled as Dean drove yourselves back to his house.
“Maybe-maybe he had his reasons,” Dean said, throwing a worried glance at your way.
“Reasons?” You scoffed.
“Cas is a good man. This is very unlike him,” Dean said.
“Am I-am I not good enough, Dean?” “Y/N, you know that's not true. You're pretty, smart, a little badass - you are a good person with a kind heart,” Dean smiled.
“Then why? Why didn't he show up? He could have left a message. I'm telling you Dean, I'm so over men now. All men are the same,” you looked at him, “except you.”
“Thanks, sweetheart. That is good to hear.”
“I sure do know how to choose,” you grumbled.
“Y/N, it's just one bad date. So what? Cas is not the only man in the whole world. You'll find someone,” Dean said, pulling into his driveway.
“I don't think so. Maybe he was right,” you opened the door of the car to step out.
“Who?”
“Alistair. Maybe he is right. Maybe the problem is me,” you said, tears pooling in your eyes. Dean grabbed your hands and pulled you back into the car.
“No. He is not right. Alistair will never be right. He was an abusive and manipulative son of a bitch. Listen to me, you are not the problem, sweetheart,” he said, “those men just don't understand you.”
“Is that why no one sticks around?” You turned around to face him with wet eyes.
“I did and I will always be there for you,” he said, his hands cupping your face.
“I know, De,” you leaned into his touch as his thumb gently caressed your cheeks. You opened your mouth to speak but were cut off by three harsh taps on the car window. Dean immediately opened the door and stepped out.
“Lisa.” He said.
“Unbelievable, Dean!” Lisa exclaimed. You couldn't see her face but you knew she was furious.
“It's not what it looks like,” Dean whispered.
“You just up and left me in the morning and now when I get back to talk things out, I find you cozying up to her. I'm done with you!” She yelled back. You shrunk back into your seat when you heard her scream. Dean didn't even tell you that he had broken up with her. You wondered why he hid it from you.
“I already said we were over Lisa, just go back home,” Dean said and brought his hand down his face.
“Three years of relationship meant nothing to you! Why?” Lisa shoved Dean, making him stumble back a little.
“I don't owe you an explanation, okay?”
“You cheating asshole-” “I didn't cheat on you, Lisa. I-I'm just not in love with you anymore,” Dean said, making her scoff.
“Have a nice life, asshole!” Lisa said and you heard her retreating footsteps. You stepped out of the car and saw Dean standing against the car, with his face buried in his hands.
“Hey, you okay?” You rubbed his arm gently.
“Yeah. I'm sorry you had to hear that,” he sighed.
“Why didn't you tell me you broke up with her?” You asked.
“It wasn’t important.” “Not important? You let me ramble all the way from the restaurant to your house but not once did you tell me you broke up with her,” you said.
“Y/N, I'm fine. Can we drop this now?” He snapped at you, “I'm sorry.”
“S’okay,” you gave him a sad smile, “I've an idea.”
“Does this idea include booze?” “What do ya think?” “I'm in.”
Tumblr media
“What time is it?” You groaned as bright light hit your eyes. The throbbing pain in your head increased as you opened your eyes, trying to focus on the human figure standing in your doorway.
“You got wasted last night, sweetheart,” Dean grinned.
“Stop talking. Just stop talking,” you groaned and nestled deep into your covers.
“Aspirin. You will need these,” he kept the medicine on the nightstand, and walked away, “Breakfast is ready.”
“Morning, how's the hangover?” He gave you a cheeky smile as you walked into the dining room a few minutes later. Dean had his laptop opened in front of him, a cup of coffee beside the electronic device. “You're enjoying this too much, aren't ya? How come you're not hung-over?” You grumbled, “I'm hungry.”
“Here. I made waffles because my heartbroken, hung-over best friend needs her comfort food. Dig in,” he said and pushed a plate of waffles towards you, “I didn't drink much.”
“I thought we were drinking because you had a breakup.” “I told you already I'm not feeling miserable. See there's this girl I like who is not Lisa. I'm thinkin’ of asking her out so I did what I had to do. I ended things with Lisa,” Dean said.
“How come you never told me about this girl?” You narrowed your eyes at him. “‘Cause I wasn't sure how I felt but two days ago I saw her and I just knew that she is the one I want to be with,” he smiled.
“You're such a sap.” You giggled, “she must be very special.”
“She is very special. I have never met a girl like her,” he said, staring at you, “now, eat up.”
“Mhm,” you moaned, taking a bite of the waffles on your plate, “you know, you should give up your business and open up a coffee shop. You make excellent waffles.”
“Sorry sweetheart, no can do. People at work will miss me too much,” he chuckled, “you do remember you are interviewing for the position of PA tomorrow?”
“Yep but I don't know if I will get it or not. I have heard the CEO of the company is kind of a shithead,” you grinned.
“Oh really?” Dean looked at you with amused eyes, “You're terrible.”
“Yeah, so I've heard.” You laughed.
He shook his head at you, “Listen, I have a favour to ask.” “Shoot.”
“I would like it if you could accompany me to Sam and Jess’ anniversary party tonight,” he said.
“Tonight?” “Yeah. I know it's very sudden but it completely sli-”
“I'll go with you but I thought you told me that after what happened with your Dad last time, you wouldn't be attending another family gathering,” you said.
“Uh-huh. Sam insisted that I attend this party,” he replied.
“Fine I'll be there with you at the party to save you from John Winchester,” you giggled.
“You'll be my knight in shining armour tonight.” He chuckled.
You went back to your apartment to get ready for the party. Dean had told you that he would be picking you up at six that evening. As you touched up on your makeup, you heard three knocks on your door.
“Good evening, Y/N,” Dean smirked, looking dapper in a black two-piece suit.
“Good evening, Dean. I'll be out in a minute,” you blushed when you saw his eyes travel all over your body.
“You look beautiful, sweetheart,” he said.
“Thanks.”
Tumblr media
“De-” you snaked placed your hand over his, as you both sat inside the Impala with her engine turned off.
“I can't do this Y/N. I can't face John Winchester again, not after the crap he pulled last time,” he gritted out the words, his knuckles turning white as he held the steering wheel tightly, staring off at the direction of his house.
“Why are you here?” He looked at you in surprise. “I-Sam asked me to be here,” he said.
“Exactly. Your little brother asked you to be here so you will go into that house and attend your brother's party. It's up to you if you want to make any small talk, I'll be there with you but Dean you can't avoid your father forever-”
“I'm not avoiding him,” Dean said.
“Yes, you are. Now go in there, ask him why he did that, demand answers from him,” you said.
“I-okay, let's go. Just don't leave my side tonight or someone might get hurt,” he said.
“You're not going to punch your Dad,” you mumbled, “even though he deserves it.” He chuckled at your words as you two stepped out of the car.
“I'll never get used to the fact that you grew up in a mansion,” you smirked.
“It's not a mansion. It's a….big house,” he smiled.
“Yep, whatever you say.” As soon as you stepped through the door of the mansion, Dean was immediately pulled into a hug. “I thought you wouldn't show up,” Sam said, letting go of his brother, “Hey Y/N.”
“Almost didn't,” the older Winchester replied as you gave the younger one a small wave. “He showed up, didn't he? What about Mom?”
“Mom and Dad are in the living room. Last thing I saw they are not speaking to each other even when they are in the same room. I just want everyone to act civil till the party's over,” Sam said, “Drinks are in the kitchen.”
“So kitchen first, living room later. Keep John out of my sight and everything will be perfect,” Dean patted his brother's shoulder and made his way towards the kitchen, taking you with him. Pouring himself a glass, he handed you one.
“Dean,” a deep voice came from the doorway, making Dean stand up straight. “Sam had one job. Dad.” He looked at John and gave him a curt reply.
There was a moment of awkward silence as no words were exchanged between the father and the son. You could feel Dean trying his level best to keep himself from screaming at his Dad. You put a hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him down.
“I know you don't want to see me right now-” “You're right and you may leave now,” Dean said and turned his back towards his father.
“Son. You have to understand, it was a long time back and I didn't know what was going through my head. I-” John sighed.
“You what? You had a perfect family here. A wife, two sons. And all this time, you knew about Adam but you said nothing. You kept up with the charade of the perfect husband and father when in reality you were neither of them,” Dean gritted out.
“Dean. Maybe I was not the perfect husband but I did everything for you and Sam,” the older man said in a harsh tone.
“Really? You did everything? You were nothing but an absent father. I was there to take care of Mom and Sammy while you were away on your so-called business trips when actually you were plowing another woman's field,” Dean growled at his father.
“Dean!” His father snapped back.
“Mr. Winchester you should leave now,” you said, trying to diffuse the situation before it got out of hand, “John, please.”
“This is family matter Y/N. You have no right to get involved in this,” John retorted.
“Don't speak to her like that. She is more family to me than you ever were,” Dean said and stalked towards his Dad, “so you can leave now. I'm sure as hell Mom is not talking to you so you can get the hell out of this house now, John.”
“Dean-” “Now,” Dean growled.
“I would do what he says, John,” you said. John scoffed, turning around and got out of the house. Dean plopped down on one of the chairs in the kitchen, gently rubbing his temples.
“You sure you're okay?” “I need a stronger drink,” he murmured.
“I saw Dad leave. What happened?” Sam came into the kitchen and asked as he looked at his brother.
“I told you to keep John away from me. You had one job,” Dean snapped and stormed out of the room, grabbing a glass of drink with him.
“He just needs some time to cool down. John came to talk to Dean and-”
“Yeah I understood. I'm gonna check on Mom. This party was a mistake,” Sam said and left the kitchen leaving you standing there alone.
You squeezed your eyes shut as you finished up your drink. You were angry at John too. He had hurt Dean, your best friend. He was a liar and you hated liars. You needed to go find Dean. You placed the empty glass on the counter and made your towards the door but you stopped dead in your tracks when you saw him.
“Cas,” you said, “I didn't expect you to be here.”
“Yeah well, Sam is a good friend so he invited me over.” Cas gave you a smile.
“Oh.” You nodded.
“We should probably address the elephant in the room,” he gave an awkward laugh.
“Huh? Oh you mean how you stood me up last night?” You glared at him.
“Well you didn't tell me that you were looking for only a one night stand? I would have backed out sooner. I like you Y/N but I don't do one night-”
“Wait, hold on. Who told you I was looking for a one time, no strings attached thing?”
“Dean told me,” your jaw dropped onto the floor at his confession, “I'm sorry Y-”
“S’okay.” You brushed him off, “I need to have a word with Dean, have you seen him?”
“I think he was talking to Kevin over there,” Cas pointed you towards another room.
“Thanks and it's okay, Cas. We're cool.” You said and almost ran your way into the other room.
“I'm telling you man, you deserve someone better than Y/N. She is clingy and she doesn't take no for an answer. I can give you her number but-” Dean turned around and his eyes locked with your wet ones. You shook your head at him, a look of betrayal evident on your face. You heard him call out to you as you turned on your heels and ran towards the door. “Excuse me, Kevin,” Dean said and went after you but by that time you were already out of the house. “Y/N!” He called, as you pulled out your phone to call for an uber.
“Fuck you!” You exclaimed, “I'm clingy, I don't take no for an answer. Is that what you think of me? All this time while you pretended to be my best friend, is this what went through your head?” Tears were running down your face now, “how many times was I there for you when you needed me and this is how you repay me?”
“I didn't mean to say it like that. You are my best friend Y/N-”
“You are a fuckin’ liar! You told Cas that I was looking for a person to keep my bed warm for only one night. Why? You know what, I don't want to talk to you right now. Leave me alone,” you said.
“No, please,” he took a step towards you. “Don't you dare make a move!” You screamed, “You lied to me and I hate liars more than anything. You are no better than your Dad. I hate you! I regret that I ever thought of you as my best friend.” You heard shuffling behind you and turned around to see him leaving. A sob tore from your throat. Standing there alone on the porch of the Winchester mansion, with your smudged makeup, you waited for the uber to show up.
It took you one hour to finally reach your house. Your phone was getting blown up by messages from the Winchester brothers and Ruby. You broke down in tears as soon as you reached your house. You crawled underneath the covers without bothering to get out of your dress or to remove your makeup. Your body shook as you continued to sob loudly into the pillow. The same man, who acted as your rock when you had left Alistair, gave you shelter in his house when you showed up in the middle of the night because your ex-boyfriend was drunk and was on a rampage, was the one who continued to spew lies about you behind your back. Your trust was shattered just like your heart and you didn't know how to piece them back together. The crying had tired you out and in no time you slipped into a deep slumber with Dean's words haunting your dream.
Morning came way too quickly. You woke up to Ruby knocking on your door along with Dean calling your phone. Your eyes were red and swollen as a result of crying all night long.
“What happened? Who's ass do I need to kick?” Ruby barged into your house as soon as you opened the door as saw you had been crying.
“....Dean.” “Dean? Dean Winchester?” Her eyes widened in surprise which later turned to anger when you told her everything that had happened the day before. Ruby was furious and if Dean was there in the room, he would have been a dead man.
“Oh Y/N,” Ruby cooed as she pulled you into a hug, “I didn't know it was this bad. Sam called me to check on you because you left his house in a hurry. I'm gonna kill Dean Winchester.” You held onto her tightly as sobs racked through your body. She gently caressed your head while cursing the green-eyed Winchester.
You were miserable but what you didn't know is that your ex-best friend was also losing his mind over the incident. The guilt was eating him up alive and he didn't know how to fix it. Sam had punched him in the face and kicked him out of his house when he had told him what happened.
“Tell her the truth or don't ever talk to me again,” Sam had threatened his brother. With red eyes and a swollen cheek, Dean went into his office the next morning. He hoped that after the interview he would get a chance to apologise but you never showed up.
“Okay, Mr. Winchester, that was the last interviewee,” Jody poked in her head into the room. “That was the last? What about uh-Y/N L/N?” Dean asked.
“Uh-she dropped out - called us early in the morning to let us know she won't make it to the interview,” Jody smiled, “I need your decision fast.”
“Decision?” “Who we are hiring for the position of the PA,” she said.
“Sure. I'll let you know. You can go now Jody. Close the door on your way out,” Dean said.
He sighed as he dialed your number, “It's Y/N L/N. She can't get to her phone now. Please leave a message.”
Tumblr media
“Y/N, sweetheart I'm sorry. You shouldn't have dropped out of the interview. I know you won't ever forgive me but I'm sorry.” You sniffled as you heard his voice message. He had left you exactly fifty-three texts, twenty three missed calls and seventeen voice messages - all had the same words, ‘I'm sorry’ but you couldn't forgive him.
“Stop listening to that asshat,” Ruby grumbled and snatched your phone from you. “I-I just can't understand why he did that? I thought he was my friend,” you sniffled.
“I'm sorry Y/N,” Ruby took a seat beside you and wrapped you in a comforter, “I brought ice cream with me. I heard they work wonders on a broken heart.”
“And you brought my favourite flavour. Thanks!” You hugged but were interrupted by the sound of your doorbell.
“Stay here. Let me check,” Ruby said and went towards the door. Opening it, she stared at a disheveled, sad Dean Winchester.
“Give me one good reason to not kick you out right now,” Ruby glared at Dean.
“I need to talk to her. Please,” Dean’s voice cracked at the end.
“No you won't. She is miserable and I won't let you break her even more,” Ruby challenged, “Now get out.”
“I don't care if I have to fight you but please let me see her,” he pleaded.
“You are one stubborn, lying piece of shit,” Ruby grumbled.
“Why are you here?” the two heads turned immediately towards you.
“I wasn't sure you wanted to see me but I had to see you,” Dean said.
“And why exactly?” Ruby snapped.
“Ruby. It's okay. Let him in. I need to hear him out.” Dean gave Ruby a side eye and let himself in.
“Y/N,” She started. “I'll be fine," you assured her.
“If you need me to kick him out or kick his ass, just call me,” she glared at Dean once more and left your apartment.
“She's scary,” the green-eyed man said. “Well she has to. She just saw her friend with a broken heart,” you threw him his words back.
“I can't tell you how sorry I am,” Dean said, his head hung in shame.
“Why?” He looked up at you, “I don't know,” he replied, making you scoff.
“You don't know? Well maybe because you actually thought of me to be clingy and the girl who doesn't take no for an answer,” you seethed, “and you even lied to Cas about me. You framed me as some whore who doesn't do relationships. Fuck you, Dean! You knew better than anyone how long it took me to get over Alistair. How could you do this to me?”
“I don't know,” he whispered, “It's just I lied to them because I didn't want them to be with you.”
“It's my life! I get to decide who I want to have sex with and who I want to date,” you hissed.
“Well I couldn't let you make those decisions because I didn't want you to choose them. I wanted you to choose me.” he blurted out. You sat there dumbfounded as you heard his confession, "What? Why?"
“Because...I love you,” Dean muttered.
“You love me?” “Yeah.”
“What are you, a kindergartener? Next thing I know you will be pulling my pigtails,” you sassed.
“I'm sorry. You know I'm bad with feelings-” “So you decided to lie?”
“Yeah.” “You're terrible, you know that,” you said.
“So I have heard,” he shrugged. “Come here you idiot,” you beckoned at him. He went towards you and sat down beside you.
“I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I was just-” “What? You were just fending off the boys?”
“Yeah. At first I was scared that I was falling for my best friend and you knew me, you knew all my horrible secrets, the thoughts that are inside my head which keep me up at night and I was scared that you wouldn't feel the same. I broke up with Lisa for you because whenever I closed my eyes at night I wanted it to be you with me, not Lisa.” You were stunned at his confession. Dean never talked about his feelings, he was extremely good at hiding his feelings so hearing him blurt out about how he felt, surprised you.
“Dean,” you said. “No. I need to say this,” he said, stopping you, “I don't know if you feel the same. Even if you did, I don't think I have a chance after the stunt I pulled yesterday. But sweetheart, you mean everything to me, I swear to never hurt you again. I was planning on asking you out after the party but Kevin had asked for your number so I told him all those lies about you but sweetheart I know what I did….said is unforgivable but please I need you. I need my best friend back.” He looked at you, locking his teary eyes with yours.
“I don't know whether to kiss you or hit you,” you said, wiping away the single tear that rolled down your cheek. “K-kiss me?” Dean’s eyes went wide.
“You are the most horrible person I have ever met. I hate you, Dean but I hate me more that I decided to fall for this horrible person that I call my best friend. Kiss me, before I change my mind,” you said and that's all Dean needed before he crashed his lips into yours. It was a harsh kiss but one filled with longing and love. His hands sneaked to the back of your head, his fingers entangled with your hair as your hands held on to his biceps.
“I'm sorry for hurting you,” he said after he let go of your lips. You sat there with his hands cupping your face, your foreheads touching. “Next time, talk to me,” you whispered.
“I will,” he kissed your forehead, “So Y/N L/N, can I take you out for dinner tomorrow night?” “Definitely Dean Winchester, but mind you I'm tough to impress,” you smirked.
“I have plans, special plans for a special girl. I will make you mine,” he said before he leaned in to capture your lips with his once again.

Long fingers ghosted over your waist, sending a shiver down your spine as you arouse. His touch descended to your bare thigh, tracing up and down your side. He nuzzled into the curve of your neck.
“Good morning,” his lips curled into a smile against your skin.
“G’ morning,” you beamed.
Eyes fluttering open, you took in the orange-ish hue from the few rays of sunshine that struggled to get past the curtains. You let out a sigh, knowing that eventually, you’d have to get up to go out and ask questions about the missing victims. You were so comfortable like this with his arms wrapped around you. It almost made you forget you were in a motel room and not in your comfy bedroom.
Sam’s hands wandered up your body in a feathery-like touch. His palm cupped your breast, fingers kneading your nipple through the soft fabric of your oversized t-shirt. He nuzzled into the curve of your neck, kissing your skin and pulling your body closer to his. You had to repress a moan when you felt his growing erection against your ass.
“Sam,” you called him in a whisper and he hummed against your skin. “We can’t.”
“Of course we can.”
“Dean’s right there next to us.”
“He’s not here anymore. He’s out for breakfast. ‘Sides, it’s about time for him to start booking another room for himself,” he said. “We have the room just to ourselves until he gets back. Guess we should do something about it, right?”
“Yeah, we definitely should.”
You grinned as you turned to him. His hazel eyes twinkled when they fell on your face. With arms wrapping around his neck, you pulled him even closer to you. Your lips searched their way to his, but you stopped midtrack.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, slightly confused.
“I’ve got morning breath,” you grimaced, crinkling your nose.
“So what? I couldn’t care less about that.”
He captured your lips in a soft, passionate kiss. You hovered above him, straddling his hips. His strong hands gripped your hips firmly as he deepened the kiss. His tongue found its course inside your mouth, delving into it. The demanding press and pull of his lips caused you to moan and buck your hips as a heat started to grow in your stomach.
Once you parted, Sam pulled your grey shirt over your shoulders and hovered you onto your back. His lips crashed on the curve of your neck. Your hands flew to his hair, fingers playing with his silky strands. He planted open-mouthed kisses on your skin, his teeth scraping against it teasingly. His soft lips sucked the skin on your neck hard enough to leave a mark. You whimpered when he released it and placed a kiss over it.
His lips traveled down your collarbone, leaving wet, open-mouthed kisses. Goosebumps roused all over your body as you shut your eyes. Sam enveloped your hardened nipple in his mouth whilst his right hand cupped your breast and kneaded the other bud. A low moan made its way past your lips as his tongue circled your nipple, your hands flying to his head. He released it with a loud pop and kept on worshiping your body. His lips brushed every patch of your skin torturously.
The need to have him grew stronger with every passing second. You were sure your underwear was soaked with your arousal. He groaned when you rocked your hips against him, but placed his hand on your hip bone to stop you.
“Stop teasing,” you nearly whined. “I need you.”
“Soon, baby,” he said as he reached for the waistband of your panties. “Soon.”
He pressed his lips to your covered clit and you had to bite down a moan. His finger trailed along the soaked fabric of your lace panties.
“God, you’re so wet right now,” he beamed, pulling your underwear down your legs. “You’re dripping, baby,” he purred at the sight of your glistening cunt.
“Please,” you cried out.
“Such a needy little thing, aren’t you?” Sam chuckled before inserting a finger inside you.
Teasingly, he thrusted one digit only to make you crave for more. His lips planted soft kisses on the inside of your thighs as he dipped another finger inside you. He never picked up his pace. Always the same slow and almost lazy pace. You gasped when his lips met your clit. He kissed it gently. His tongue teased your most sensitive part as his long fingers drove faster inside you.
“Fuck, Sam,” you moaned as his tongue flicked over your bundle of nerves.
“You like the way I flick my tongue?” He purred, glancing up at you. A shiver ran throughout your entire body.
“Yes!”
Sam smirked. His lips locked around your clit, giving it a hard suck. You threw your head back into the pillow, eyes clenched shut as a fire started to pool in your abdomen. Your hands slapped to the back of his head and he groaned. Fingers gripped his silky locks, trying to pull him even closer. He alternated between sucking and flicking his tongue over your throbbing clit. Your legs closed around him as he curled his fingers, hitting your sweet spot with precision.
“Oh, god. Please, Sam,” you said through ragged breaths. “I’m gonna cum. I’m gonna-“
Sam slammed his fingers inside you, squelching noises echoing through the room. His lips sealed around your clit and he sucked for dear life. Your whole body started to tremble as orgasm rippled through you. Your hand flew to your mouth to muffle your screams, but he slapped it away. You cried out his name as your body went still. A different kind of electricity running through your veins.
He lapped at your cunt until you rode out your orgasm. Your walls tightened around his unceasing fingers. Sam let out a groan when you pulled at his hair.
“Fuck,” you gasped as you came down from your high.
Your eyes were still closed when Sam climbed up to meet your face. He smiled, taking in your features. Your lips slightly parted, sucking the air in. Eyes clenched shut under knitted brows. Beads of sweat graced your forehead.
He brushed his glistening fingers over your mouth. Your tongue darted out to meet his skin. Gripping his wrist, you tasted the remains of your release on his slender fingers, circling your tongue around them and sucking slightly. Sam groaned, clenching his eyes shut.
You pulled away from his fingers, eyes fluttering open to meet his face. Lust blown hazel eyes locked in your dazed ones. You captured his lips into a demanding, bruising kiss. Your tongue nearly fucking his mouth. Sam let out a low moan. Before he could pull away, you sucked his bottom lip into your mouth, causing him to thrust his hips against you.
“Fuck, Y/N,” he moaned.
“God, I’m beat,” you sighed.
“Oh, you are?” You nodded playfully, fingers removing the few strands that insisted on sticking to his damped forehead. “That’s too bad, ‘cause I’m not nearly done with you.”
“Well, that’s a good thing,” you chuckled. “So go on, Mr. Fuck-me-into-oblivion.”
“Mr what now?”
“Oh, shut up. I don’t know where that came from either.”
“You are one of a kind, Y/N,” he chuckled, hazel eyes staring back at you lovingly.
“I know, I know,” you scoffed. “So are you gonna fuck me before or after your brother gets back with breakfast?”
“Both?” He smirked.
You rolled your eyes as Sam tugged down his sweatpants along with his boxers. His cock sprung free, the head glistening with precum. Your eyes widened. He was painfully hard. His hands fumbled over the nightstand in search of his wallet. He picked the condom and once he opened the wrapper, he rolled it down his length. He leaned over you, pecking your lips in a sweet kiss. Your hand traveled down between your bodies, reaching for his cock. His tip circled your entrance before entering your channel slowly.
“Shit,” a whimper escaped your lips as he pushed inside you to the hilt. His massive cock stretching your walls to the fullest to fit him.
“Fuck,” he grunted. “So tight.”
He pulled his hips back in a torturous pace, sliding almost completely out of you, but leaving only the tip in your pussy. Sam slammed into you, causing your body to jerk and a squeak to leave your lips. He smiled. He’d never get tired of seeing you react to him. You wrapped your arms around his neck, fingers curling into his hair. The heavenly scent of his body wash filled your nostrils.
Sam drove in and out of you at the same calculated pace. Enough to drive you crazy. Not enough to make you come already. His lips captured every square inch of your skin.
“Please,” you trailed off, not even sure of what you were begging for.
“What is it that you want, baby?” He mumbled against the clammy skin of your chest.
“Faster, Sam,” you cried out. “Please.”
Sam pounded into you and a gasp left your mouth. His hips snapped against yours. The sound of flesh slapping flesh mixed with labored breaths and loud, lust-crazed moans. Your hips bucked, meeting him thrust after thrust. With each slam of his hips against yours, the headboard thumped on the wall. Sam dipped his head to capture one of your nipples into his mouth as his hand traveled to where your bodies met. His thumb circulated your throbbing clit, sending small shocks through your body. He knew you were close.
Your legs wrapped around his waist, forcing him to go even deeper. Sam hit your sweet spot and you cried out. He slammed inside you, the tip of his cock hitting your cervix. His thrusts became sloppy and erratic.
“F-fuck, Sam,” his name left your lips in a broken scream as you raked your nails across his back.
Your body dissolved into pleasure and you shattered beneath him, back arching off the bed. Your orgasm rippled through you. Your vision nearly faded to black as your walls clenched tight around him.
“Oh fuck, Y/N,” he came with a broken cry.
His head nuzzled into the curve of your neck as his hips kept grinding against yours. His cock twitched before he spilled his seed into the condom. Sam’s body went rigid, crashing against yours. Pleasure overflowed his senses.
He laid on top of you as he waited for his breath to even. You ran your fingers through his hair and waited for the same thing. Both of you were worn out and you hadn’t even gotten out of bed yet.
“God, I’m pretty sure I blacked out for a second,” you giggled a little cum-drunk.
“I think I’ve flooded out the condom,” he chuckled.
Your fingers moved to trace up and down his spine. Both of you held each other close. You couldn’t find it in you to let go of him and get out of bed. You were so lost in that bliss that you didn’t even notice the door swing open.
“Good morning, sleepyheads,” Dean strode inside the room. “I’ve brought- oh shit!”
Sam moved fast out of you and threw the blanket over your bodies. Your eyes fell on Dean who had his back turned to you now.
“Get the hell out,” you yelled. Dean got out of the room as fast as he got in.
You glanced at your side to find Sam blushing in embarrassment. A hysterical laugh made its way past your lips and your boyfriend only covered his face with his hands, still processing everything that happened.
“I can’t believe this just happened.”
“Well, I can,” you gushed between giggles and he eyed you. “This was bound to happen, Sam. I’m surprised it took this long.”
“This is so embarrassing.”
“Stop, it isn’t that bad.”
“You’re only saying this because he isn’t your brother,” he said. “God, I can’t believe my brother just saw my naked ass.”
“Well, technically this wasn’t the first time he saw-“
“You’re not helping, you know that?”
“Who do you think that changed your diapers, Sam? Who wiped your ass when you were a kid?” You nearly exclaimed as you tried to make your point. “It surely wasn’t John.”
“I know, I know,” he sighed. “But this still is embarrassing as fuck.”
“I never said it wasn’t.”
“How am I gonna look him in the eye after this?”
“Argh, you’re such a drama queen.” ————
“You guys should have put a sock on the doorknob or something,” Dean grumbled as you climbed on the backseat of the impala.
“Maybe if you start getting your own room, then things like that won’t happen again,” you shrugged.
Sam didn’t say a word. He still was too embarrassed to dare to speak anything and have his brother making fun of him.
“There’s no need for me to do that! We’d only spend more money!”
“The money is fake,” you corrected.
“Sam and I had a code, Y/N,” he said, starting the engine. “If there’s a sock on the doorknob, then you must find somewhere else to sleep.”
“Yeah, ‘cause every time you were going at it, there was a sock on the doorknob,” Sam scoffed.
“C’mon, you were a kid. You don’t even remember that.”
“Unfortunately, I do.”
“Consider that as a payback, Dean,” you beamed. “Oh, and if you don’t start getting your own room from now on, then you’ll wake up to some very loud moans and skin on skin noises,” his eyes widened at the threat. “Trust me, they’ll haunt you for the rest of your life.”

-”Hold my hand, we gotta make this look convincing” — Dean told you to your ear -Stop it! You are making way too obvious if you keep saying it — you said -I know, but I want to finish this as soon as possible. I want to go back home -Me too De, me too — you said sighing
Truth is, you’ve been on the road for 5 weeks now, hunting non-stop, case after case. You all were really tired. You deserved a break, especially you and Dean. The relationship between you two was pretty intense, one moment you cared for each other and then you wanted to kill each other. Basically, now you were at the point of wanting to kill the other. This seemed to be a simple ghost case; it needed to be done fast because Sam was about to lose his head with your fights, he definitely wanted to kill both of you.
-Come on sweetheart, just a little longer -Did Sammy find something? — You ignored what Dean told you. -No, he hasn’t finished yet, but if you want we can go and help him -Yeah, but first let’s finish our night with a little love dance -you whispered -Let’s dance my love -Dean said loud enough to be heard
He gave you his hand for you to stand up. He took you to the dance floor where a few couples were dancing.
-You know hun, we should extend our stay for a few more days, this place is beautiful — you said -What? — Dean said perplexed -The receptionist is looking at us -you said to his ear hugging him -Your wishes are my command, my love -he said closing the distance between you
You were about to kiss him when a wave of dizziness hit you and you tighten your grip on Dean’s arm.
-Babe, are you alright? -Yeah, is probably the alcohol -you said smiling -I think it’s time to go to bed. Come on -He grabbed you from the waist and headed to the elevator
Dean’s grip was strong, he was worried about you. Once in the elevator, Dean never stopped looking at you. It was getting uncomfortable.
-Would you stop looking at me? You’re making it uncomfortable -How are you feeling? — He asked you — I know it’s not the alcohol -I’m fine, De — you couldn’t finish your sentence when another wave of dizziness hit you. This was way stronger — Ow -Hey, I’ve got you. We’re almost there — his grip tightened more. Now you were worried too. Your vision got blurry and started to see black dots -Dean, I think I’m about to pass out — you warned him -Hey hey, look at me. I’ve got you, everything is going to be fine — Dean said when the elevator doors opened. Dean instantly hugged you from the waist and directed you towards your room. -We are almost there, love. Hang on — He kept saying
You took a step inside your room, your body gave up and everything went black.
-Y/N! -Dean scream grabbing your limp body -Crap! -Sam rushed towards you -Dean, what the hell -I don’t know man, we were fine pretending and she started to feel dizzy. She said it was alcohol, but we know it’s not true. -Ok, laid her in bed -Sam said -Sam, her body is warm — Dean commented — It might be fever
When Sam brought the medkit, Dean had already laid you in bed and took your shoes off.
-Mhm? — you groaned -Easy, sweetheart — Dean said moving your hair from your face -How are you feeling N/N? — Sam asked you -Thirsty — you said -I’ll bring her some water — Dean said squeezing your shoulder
Sam sat next to you on the bed and handed you the thermometer. You waited a few minutes until it beeped.
-Well, you have a fever of 101.3° F. You should rest, and we will keep an eye on you — Sam said -Thank you, Sammy — You said when Dean entered the room -I brought some cold medicine and ibuprofen from Baby — He mentions — So? — He asked Sam -She definitely has a fever, and for now, she needs to rest while we do some research.
You took the pills and the water and grabbed a book to do some research.
-What do you think you’re doing? — Dean asked you -Let me be, Dean. You know I’m going to fall asleep in less than 5 minutes -If you are still awake in 5 minutes, I’m taking that book with me -Fine by me
Dean left you with your book and within 5 minutes, you were fast asleep. Dean went to grab the book you were reading and he touched your forehead to check your temperature.
-Dude, I’m worried about her — He said to Sam -Me too Dean, but luckily we will finish this sooner -Yeah
Sam and Dean kept researching what was causing the killings in the hotel. A few hours later Dean kept doing research and with Sam asleep next to him. The boys found out it was a vengeful spirit that lost his wife in the hotel with a tragic death. You needed to find what was attaching the spirit to the hotel. You started to toss and turn on the bed, Dean went to check on you. He sat next to you and pressed a hand on your forehead.
-Oh sweetheart — Dean said — shh don't worry, I've got you — he kept saying while caressing your cheek
He noticed your frown, he knew something was bothering your sleep and broke his heart not being able to help you. He tried to calm you without waking up, you needed all the possible rest. You started to whisper, like if you were fighting. It was time to wake you up.
-Y/N, sweetheart, wake up — he said shaking your shoulder
You sat in bed scared and choking with a sob. Your arms flew to Dean's. He held you without complaining.
-It's ok hun, everything is going to be ok -Dean said running his fingers through your sweaty hair -De? You called him -what is it N/N? -can we — you hiccupped— "can we fight so we can have angry makeup sex later?" -What? — he hesitated on answering you. He didn't know if you were joking, or sleepy or if it was the fever talking — uh… yeah sure, why not? — he said, feeling the heat radiating from your body -Good, because I wanted to have angry sex with you for a while now — you said
You probably weren't going to remember any of this. Dean thought to better ignore it and held you. Sam woke up and saw you two hugging, it melted his heart, but then he heard you crying.
-Sammy wake up — Dean said holding you -I'm awake -I think her fever spiked up, her body is hot, she is shivering and all sweaty -Check her fever, I'm going to prepare the bath, just in case — Sam said to Dean, and he nodded -Ok sweetheart, we have to check your fever. Open — You started to giggle interrupting him and Dean was confused. -Sweetheart, what's funny? -There is someone behind you with a funny face — you said giggling -What?
Dean couldn't process what you had said when Sam appeared in the room again
-Dean! Look out! — Sam shouted hitting the ghost with iron -Crap! We better hurry — Dean said putting the thermometer in your mouth.A few minutes later it beeped -106° F -We need to break it. The bath is ready — Sam said -Good — Dean said grabbing you bridal style and taking you to the bathroom
He took your clothes off leaving you just in your underwear, doing the same with his.
-Stay with her for a little. I'll do some more research — Sam said from the other room.
Dean was massaging your scalp to help you relax. You had your eyes closed, the warm water relaxing your body, unconsciously you moaned making Dean twitched beneath you
-Sweetheart? — Dean called you -Mhm? -How are you feeling? — he moved you a little to see your face -Tired and cold -We will have to stay for a few more minutes darling, don't worry. I'll keep you safe
After hearing Dean saying those words, you sighed and relaxed. You knew he was going to protect you from everything and anything. It made your heart full. Respecting what he told you, a few minutes later he took you out of the bathtub and dried you off taking you to the bed again.
-Sam can you check her temperature? Her body is not hot anymore -Sure thing — Sam said coming closer to you
You were running out of time, the end of the fourth day was coming which meant that the spirit was going to attack you any minute, and you didn't know how to kill it yet. Sam gave you the thermometer and waited. When it beeped he took it from you
-So? -you asked -102.2°F. You still have a fever, so we have to be careful. -Ok. How are we going to kill this thing? — You asked -Well — Dean said appearing into the room again — We have to go to our anniversary dinner tonight -Ok, I’ll go get ready, you two finish the research — You said -Are you sure you are ready? — Dean said walking to your side -We have to do it, De. There’s no other way, you know it -I hate to say this but she’s right, Dean — Sam agreed with you -Ok -Dean sighed — Let’s get ready then
When you got up from bed your legs gave out crashing onto Dean’s arms
-Are you sure you’ll be fine? — Dean asked you worried -Yes, De. Don’t worry -I do because I need to know that you’ll be safe out there -I promise you, I’ll be safe. Besides I have my dearest husband by my side — you said winking at him -Y/N — Dean called you in a warning tone -Seriously De, do you want to keep fighting over this? Does this mean you want to have sex with me? — you asked him and he looked at you surprised you remembered that -We will see what happens with the sex. I just want you to be safe — Dean said looking to your eyes
Truth is you’ve always felt safe next to Dean. Whatever was going on with you, he made you feel safe, whereas is just a squeeze to the shoulder, an encouraging phrase, or those reserved hugs he has for you. He was the safest place on earth.
-You make me feel safe — You whispered while hugging him.

You want her?
Tumblr media
Summary: Dean and you are out drinking. Dean notices that you are eying the bartendress and decides to act on it. He suggests to take her back to the motel with you, for a night you both will never forget.
Pairing: Dean x Reader x Robin (OFC)
Warnings: NSFW, no plot in sight, just smut, threesome (f/f/m), oral (fem receiving), fingering, dirty talk, spanking, tied up, edging, kinda dom!Dean, voyeurism, masturbation, hair pulling, rough-ish sex, unprotected sex
Word count: 4,4k pure filth
Prompt: “You like the way I flick my tongue?”
A/N: Written for @supernatural-jackles‘ bi-weekly writing challenge. More or less my first time writing smut, at least a lengthy one. Sorry for posting so late and last minute, unfortunately life got in the way... But here it is! - Enjoy! Banner and divider were made by me.
Tumblr media
“You want her, Y/N?”
His question caught you off  guard and you froze. Your jaw dropped and you couldn’t bring yourself to say anything.
Dean stood close behind you, his face alongside yours, following your gaze to the other side of the bar. You hadn’t been able to tear your gaze away from the bartendress all night. Your eyes had kept trailing back to her, watching her walking around behind the bar and pouring out drinks. Watching her tits bounce with every step and her hips sway with every move. From time to time you had catched yourself wondering and imagining how her lips would feel like on yours, how soft her hands would feel on your body.
“She was checking you out all night as well.” His voice had dropped a few octaves. His hot breath fanned over your ear and cheek and his lips lightly graced the shell of it as he spoke. Paired with the way he pressed his body into yours from behind and his big, strong hands gripping your hips tightly, fingertips digging hard into the flesh, he had you whimpering. You didn’t even register a sound left your lips until you heard him groan deeply.
“You know”, he began and lightly nibbled on your earlobe, “I saw how you were looking at her since we got here, saw how you practically eye fucked her in front of me. Fuck, baby, I can’t help but to imagine you making out with her. I bet you would look so fucking good together.” He slightly lowered his body and rolled his hips up against yours and your breath hitched when you felt his growing bulge press against the crack of your ass. “I’d love to see her on top of you, ‘d love to see her eat your pretty little pussy out. I know you’ve never done anything with a woman before, but... Hell, I see the way you look at her and I say, let’s take her home and have some fun. So, I ask you again... You want her, Y/N?” He licked over the shell of your ear and pulled it in between his teeth, lightly biting down.
Your eyes fluttered shut and heat was pooling between your thighs. Damn, alone the thought of the three of you together made you moan. You pulled your bottom lip between your teeth and leaned back against him. Breathing heavily you pressed your thighs together.
“Mmh, who says I have zero experience with women, huh?” you teased. You turned your head to look into his shocked, lust blown eyes.
“Fuck, sweetheart”, he growled and crashed his lips against yours. He pulled back just as fast and let go of your body. You hadn’t realized how weak your knees had become and almost lost your balance when he stepped back. Dean pushed through the people and walked over to the bartendress with long strides.
You had no idea what he was saying to her, but at first she was about to shake her head then she curiously looked over to you when he pointed in your direction. You watched her bite her lip before she turned back to him and said something to him. Dean's smirk grew wider at her answer. He nodded and came back, the onesided pantie dropping grin never leaving his lips. He winked at you and grabbed your wrist. “Let’s go.”
Tumblr media
You stepped outside and Dean pulled you into the alley next to the bar, pressed you against the brick wall and pushed his leg between your thighs, before he dipped his head and kissed you passionately. Your hands immediately found their way to his neck, gripping at the short hair at the back of his head. When he pulled back, he was panting.
"She’s getting off in thirty. Told her where we’re staying, she will come to the motel when she’s done here”, he growled into your ear and pushed his knee up, giving you the much needed friction. “Gonna work you up until then baby, want you drippin’ when she joins us.” He captured your lips once more and pushed his knee up again. You couldn’t hold back anymore. You started to desperately grind against his thigh and moaned into his mouth. You had never been so turned on in your life.
He chuckled and pushed his thigh even higher, which had you standing on your toes, almost lifting you off of the ground and ground his hips against yours. You could feel his rock hard cock against your stomach and you didn’t want anything more than to drop to your knees and let him fuck your mouth.
Dean sucked your bottom lip between his teeth and pulled before he stepped back, growling. “Baby, we gotta go. If we don’t stop, I’m gonna fuck you right here and now, where anyone can see us.”
You looked at him through hooded eyes, a mischievous smile growing on your lips. You let your hands wander over his body, traveling further down to his waistband. “Well, what speaks against it, huh?”
He groaned deeply. “Because,” you could see the strength he had to gather to take another step back, “I have othet things planned for you tonight and fucking you in the middle of the street isn’t on the list.”
Tumblr media
Back in your motel room Dean shut the door behind you. He backed you up against the wall, grabbed the back of your thighs and picked you up. Within seconds your upper body was naked and he attacked your neck with his mouth. His hands grabbed your breasts and he started to play with your nipples, rolling them between his fingers.
“Tell me, Y/N”, he let one of his hands slide down your body and fidgeted with the button of your jeans, “how far have you gone with a woman?” He licked over your pulse point and scraped his teeth over the sensitive skin, nibbling on the spot that made your knees weak.
“Made out with two girls in senior year. Almost would have fucked the second one, b-but I- wasn’t sure if sh-she would want to g-go there, so we didn’t go further than that. Oh fuck, Dean!”
You cried out when his hand found its way into your pants and his fingers finally touched you where you wanted them the most.
He bit into your shoulder to muffle the deep and long moan that escaped his lips. “Fuuuck, baby, you’re drenched.”
Dean pressed his palm flat against your clothed core, rubbing in the slightest motions. “Let’s see how often I can bring you to the edge until she gets here, huh?”
He put more pressure on his middle finger, parting your lips when he moved his hand upwards and stopped at your clit. With the tip of his finger he tapped against it, sending shivers down your spine and making your walls clench around nothing. He added another finger, pressed down and started to circle them around the bundle of nerves through the lace of your panties. When a loud whiny moan left your lips, you just let it happen. You didn’t care if anyone heard you.
While his lips worked their way down to your breasts to give the unoccupied nipple some attention, his fingers were moving slowly, stretching out every bit of pleasure that jolts through you.
It didn't take long until your body started to shake and your breath hitched, little whimpers leaving your lips. Dean knew your body even better than you did yourself. He knew exactly which buttons to push, knew how to push you further and further, knew every little movement and sound you made when you were about to let go. He knew how to keep you on the edge until you couldn't take anymore without pushing you over.
You gasped when his fingers stopped moving right when you got close, right before the tight knot in your stomach was about to snap. You felt his lips on your neck, felt him smile, before he pressed down on your clit and lightly tapped against it again. Your eyes rolled back and you let your head fall against the wall, moaning. Oh sweet, sweet torture.
He moved his hand away from your center and grabbed your jaw, forcing you to look at him. Dean grinned mischievously.
"One." The tip of his tongue peaked through his teeth. He licked his lips and kissed your hard and fast.
You were so distracted by his lips and tongue, that you didn't register his hand slipped back down. This time he pushed it into your panties and when his fingers brushed over your folds you shamelessly moaned into his mouth.
"Oh fuck, Dean, yes."
His fingertips circled your clit for a few times, then he pushed his hand further down and slipped a finger into your pussy. Your walls immediately clenched around the digit, trying to suck it deeper. He slowly pumped it in and out, teasingly brushing over your walls. When he added a second finger he started to move faster. In a skilled motion he crooked his fingers and pressed down onto the spot that made your knees weak.
Dean kissed his way over your jaw, back to your neck. He licked, sucked and nibbled on the sensitive skin. To drive you even more insane, he started to thrust his hips into yours, rubbing the palm of his hand against your core.
Your walls clenched and you felt the coil in your stomach tighten again until Dean pulled away.
"Two." He whispered, his hot breath fanned over the shell of your ear.
He loosened your legs from his waist and as soon as your feet hit the ground he ripped your jeans and panties down, helped you step out of them and threw them across the room. His mouth captured yours again, distantly you heard his belt unbuckle. Dean grabbed your wrists and held them together in one hand in front of you. With a questioning look he searched for your gaze as he moved the belt around your wrists. You sucked your bottom lip between your teeth and nodded.
With every brush of his calloused fingertips over your skin as he wrapped the leather around your wrists, he sent a shiver down your spine. When he was satisfied with the tightness of the belt, his gaze fell above your head. He smirked and brought your hands up over your head and hooked the belt into the hook of the coat rack on the wall. You pulled a bit, testing out if the rack would hold. It seemed pretty stable.
As soon as you both were sure the thing wouldn't break, Dean covered your body with his and pressed himself against you. His hands were sprawled out on you back, one on your ass, pulling your hips into his and the other one pressed down between your shoulder blades, pushing you into him and holding you in place. He leaned down and kissed you hard.
Tumblr media
By the time a sharp knock on the door ripped you from your own little world, your legs were shaking and were barely able to hold your body up. You had lost count on how often Dean had pushed you to the edge.
Dean clicked his tongue before he took a step back and turned around to open up.
The leather on your wrists felt heavier than before, tighter. You hoped the rack would withstand your weight and you let your legs give in to let the coat rack support most of your weight, so you could concentrate on catching your breath. Your lungs hurt with every breath you took.
Your eyes followed Dean as he grabbed his flannel from the floor and put it on while he walked to the door. He opened it a bit in only his jeans and the open flannel and looked outside for a second before he opened it fully with a smile on his face.
You heard the clicking of heels on the wooden floor and shortly after the bartendress entered the room. A small part of you was surprised that she was really here, you thought she might not even come.
Now that she was here you were slightly embarrassed hanging around naked on a coat rack. But she didn’t seem to mind it at all. No, instead of questioning your position, she started to peel off her jacket and eyed you hungrily.
“Hey. I see you started without me, huh?” she joked and threw the piece of clothing on the chair.
Before she walked over to you she pulled her dress over her head, revealing a matching black lace lingerie set, her hips swaying even more than before. You looked her up and down, eyes traveling over her curves. Right in front of you she stopped and let her eyes wander over your naked body, biting her lip.
The tip of your tongue darted out and wetted your lips, before you smiled at her. "Hi." Her lips curved upwards. “Hey. Y/N, right? I am Robin, it's really nice to meet you.”
“Likewise, Robin. I’d shake your hand, but…” You chuckled and with a wide one sided smile you looked up at your wrists. Her eyes followed your gaze.
When your eyes met again, she smirked at you. “Oh well, you know… There are a few other ways to say hello….” Her beautiful brown hazel eyes darted to your lips, then she looked up into your eyes again before her gaze settled on your lips. Now that she was so close you could see the golden specks in her iris that made them sparkle even more.
She leaned forward and pressed her lips to yours, you couldn’t hold back the moan that escaped your throat. Finally you felt her lips and it was nothing like you had imagined; in a good way. They were so incredibly soft and full and felt fucking wonderful. You opened your mouth to let her tongue in. Your tongues danced against each other, the kiss getting more heated with every passing second.
After some time Robin pulled back, her lips still brushing over yours as she whispered: “Can I touch you?”
“Please", you begged. She lifted her hands and graced the skin of your forearm with the tips of her fingers from your elbows up to your bound wrists. Her palms pressed against your soft skin and she lowered her hands again, letting them glide over your skin and softly scratching her fingernails along the way. Your whole body began to shiver. It felt so unbelievably good to be touched by her, you almost couldn't handle the anticipation for more. You wanted to feel her hands everywhere, wanted her to touch every inch of your skin.
Robin scratched her nails down your arms and over your ribs, over your sides down to the mid of your thighs where she changed the angle of her hands, pressed her palms against your skin and moved them back up to your hips. With a firm grip on your butt cheeks she pulled your hips into hers. Not a second later her mouth was on yours again in a heated kiss. She bit on your bottom lip and pulled before she kissed her way over your cheek to your jaw. She placed sloppy kisses all over your neck and collar bone, slightly nibbling on it.
Her hands roamed all over your body, no inch of skin left untouched. When she reached your breasts she grabbed and massaged them. Her index finger teasingly circled around your nipple for a few times at first and scratched her nail lightly over it, before she pinched them between her fingers, twirling them around. You sighed and whimpered at the sensation, the air suddenly knocked out of your lunges. Your eyes shut and your head fell back. With your eyes closed her touch felt a lot more intense.
“Need to taste you”, Robin mumbled against your collarbone. She slowly lowered herself and kissed and nibbled her way down your body.
When you heard Dean’s deep voice, it shifted your attention away from Robin, back to him. “Baby, I want you to look at me while she eats you out.”
Your eyes locked with his and another incredibly strong wave of pleasure washed over your body, just from looking at him. Dean had taken off the rest of his clothing and stood by the bed. You could see all the emotions that whirled around in his forest green eyes. The way he moved his hand up and down his cock and the way the muscles in his arm flexed with every stroke of his hand turned you incredibly on.
Robin reached your mound and planted a kiss right aove your slit. She pulled one of your legs over her shoulder and immediately started to devour you. She licked over your slit, flicked her tongue against your clit and repeated the motion. With every lick she got faster, hungrily licking up your juices.
When a particular long and loud moan left your lips she looked up into your eyes and hummed. “You like the way I flick my tongue, baby?” She licked a long stripe over your slit again, circling your clit with the tip of her tongue a few times before she sucked it hard between her lips, her teeth lightly scraping over the sensitive skin. When she pressed her tongue flat against it while she still had it pinned between her full lips, you let your head fall back against the wall and you moaned loudly.
“Answer her”, Dean ordered in a low voice.
“Mmmh”, was all you were able to respond.
“Use your words, sweetheart.”
"F-Feels so good. Love your t-ounge. So so good."
You looked back at him, saw that he sat down on the end of the bed while he kept his eyes on the both of you, watching you closely and pumping his fist up and down his thick shaft.
“Fuck, look at her, sweetheart. Doing such a good job fucking you with her mouth. Freakin’ love the sounds she coaxes out of you.”
Robin’s tongue moved around your clit, occasionally changing rhythm and pattern, hitting all the right spots.
“Oh fuck, yes. Don- don’t stop. Fuck, so good.”
She chuckled at that, sending vibrations straight to your core, and sucked hard on your clit.
“You want her to fuck you with her fingers?” Dean asked.
You fastly nodded your head. “Uh-huh”
“Words, baby girl”, Dean reminded you sternly, his voice was deep and laced with lust.
“Y- yes. Aah fuck. Please, please. Need- need your fingers inside me”, you begged and teared your eyes away from Dean to look down at her.
“You heard her, Robin. Do it. Push your fingers into her cunt and fuck her. Hard.”
Not needing to be told twice her hand left your butt and moved between your legs. She teasingly brushed over your lips before she pushed two fingers into your throbbing pussy and immediately found your sensitive spot. After a few hard thrusts she added another finger, filling you up.
It didn’t take her long to have you a whimpering mess above her, ready to let go. The coil in your stomach grew tighter and tighter and was about to snap.
And Dean sensed it too. “Stop touching her.”
No, no, no! When she stopped moving her fingers and pulled away, you whined loudly. You didn’t care how pathetic it must have sounded, this was pure fucking torture. You were so fucking close - again - and he just wouldn’t let you come.
“Dean… Please. Please, I want to- need to-” you begged until he interrupted you harshly.
“No.”
“Dean-”
“Not yet, sweetheart.”
“But-”
“Not. Yet." Dean almost growled. "If you’re gonna come, then you’re gonna come on my cock. You understand?”
He left no room for discussion and to be honest his words alone could have sent you over right now.
Robin stood up, but not without kissing her way up your body. When she stood straight again she raised her hand that was glistening with your juices and slowly pushed them between your lips. You moaned when you tasted yourself on her fingers
Dean ordered her to lay down on the bed, so she walked backwards while she pulled off her underwear, her eyes never leaving you and pulled herself up to the headboard. She leaned back on her elbows and pushed her heels into the mattress, her knees falling wide open to reveal her wet, glistening pussy lips. You gasped at the sight and sucked your bottom lip between your teeth, your mouth began to water.
Dean stepped closer to you and took Robin’s place. He covered half your body by pressing his body into your side. His hand traveled over your stomach up to your throat. He laid his fingers around your neck and chuckled darkly while flexing them. His lips were so close they brushed over the edge of your ear.
“You wanna taste her?” The tip of his tongue graced over the shell.  Dean stood so close, you could feel the bass vibrating in his chest as he spoke.
"Yes, please. Wanna taste her so bad." You turned your head and looked at him, begging him with your eyes to free your hands so you could join her on the bed and dive in between her legs.
"Then go on, do it." He raised his free hand and lifted your hands from the rack to open the belt. As soon as the leather was gone he moved his hand to the back of your neck and directed you to the bed.
You walked over on shaking legs, incredibly glad the bed wasn’t too far away. You crawled over to her and started to touch her thighs, rubbing your hands up and down her soft skin. You pressed your lips against her inner thigh and kissed your way up until you reached her puss, where you pressed a kiss to her clit. Your tongue darted out and you licked over her lips, finally tasting her. And damn, she tasted great. You began to eat her out, mirroring what she had done to you and changing it up a bit. It didn’t take you long to find out what drove her crazy, what made her beg for more.
You were so concentrated on Robin that you didn’t feel the bed dip behind you. You only realized that Dean was behind you when his big hands grabbed your butt and he slit the head of his cock through your pussy lips.
Without a warning he slammed his hips into yours, filling you up with his cock in one thrust. The pleasure that rolled through your body overwhelmed you when he bottomed out, his hips slapping against your ass and pushing you forward, deeper between Robin’s legs. Your legs began to shake again and you rested your forehead against her stomach to recover your breath. Robin’s hands moved to head, stroking over your hair.
You waited for him to fucking move, but Dean didn’t move. He stayed still, waiting. The hand came out of nowhere, slapping down on your ass hard. You yelped at the impact, then moaned, welcoming the stinging pain.
"Did I tell you to stop? Keep going. Make her cum and maybe I will let you cum too." And with that his hand came back down on your ass cheek, reddening the skin.
You eagerly began to thrust your tongue into her entrance and flick it against her clit. You moved your hand from her hip and slowly pushed two fingers into her entrance, starting to fuck her with your fingers. As soon as you started, Dean slowly pulled his cock out and hardly thrusted back into you. The sound of his hips slapping against your ass filled the room as he fucked you hard and fast, his fingers digging hardly into your hips to keep you in place.
You moaned against Robin, the vibrations helped pushing her further to her release. You could tell she was close, you felt her walls clench around your fingers. With a twist of your wrist you changed the angle you fucked into her and crooked your fingers. Her pussy gripped your fingers tight, her thighs began to shake and caged your head between them when she came, screaming your name.
Dean leaned forward and buried his hand in your hair and pulled you up by it. Your back hit his chest and his other hand came around your body, grabbing your throat. He picked up his pace, fucking you even harder.
Robin moved and kneeled down in front of you. She pressed her mouth to yours and started to kiss you, her hands wandering over your body. She grabbed your breast and played with your nipple. With the other she rubbed against your clit, adding even more to your pleasure.
Dean nibbled on your neck. “Now”, he grunted. “Come. Come for me, baby.”
A few thrusts later your walls clenched around his cock, you came so hard you saw stars and your ears began to ring. Your screams were muffled by Robin’s mouth on yours.
Dean followed you soon after, the pulsing of his cock sending you straight into another orgasm. He now slowly fucked into you, riding your orgasms out.
Tumblr media
You hadn’t moved much after, you were totally spent. You sank down to the mattress, your body aching in sweet pain. Dean got up to get something to clean you up, while Robin lay with you, kissing you and moving her fingertips over your back, side and arms.
When Dean came back from the bathroom he put the blanket over your bodies and lay next to you. He planted a kiss on your shoulder and chuckled when he saw your tired eyes. You turned to him and sighed happily.
You felt Robin inch closer to you. She pressed herself against your back, her nose brushed over the nape of your neck. A small sigh left her lips and her body relaxed with every breath she took. She slowly drifted to sleep.
Dean cradled your cheek in his hand, brushed his fingertips over your cheekbone and jaw. He bit on his lip and grinned at you.
“Had fun, sweetheart?”
You chuckled, pecked his lips and rested your forehead against his. “Oh yes, I had fun. A lot. Thank you, Dean. That was…”
“Yeah. It was.” He grinned. “Get some sleep, sweetheart. I love you.”
“I love you too, Dean.”

Tea of Love
Pairing: Dean x Reader
Other Characters: Sam, Castiel, Crowley, Rowena
Imagine: You’re hunting a witch with Sam and Dean, only to fall victim to her curse.
A/N: This is my contribution to the SPN Bi-Weekly Writing Challenge offered by @supernatural-jackles. I signed up to contribute on a monthly basis, but it looks like I missed the deadline. Here it is all the same. Enjoy!
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Dean parked the Impala a good distance away from the two-story farmhouse. Far enough away to be hidden from sight, but still within running distance for a quick getaway if needed.
You had received word that a witch was causing trouble, and had tracked her to the town of Smithville, Arkansas. The plan was to sneak in to the house, with you going in through the back entrance, while Sam and Dean went in through the front door.
"All right, weapons check," Dean whispered. Each of you ejected the clip from your handguns, yours from your .380, to make sure it was full of witch-killing bullets. Satisfied, you re-inserted the clip and pulled back on the hammer so that a round was in the chamber. After a successful weapons check, Sam went up the steps and started picking the lock on the front door.
"Ready?" you asked as you turned to head for the back door.
Dean nodded. "Hey? Be careful," he remarked softly.
You sent him a quick smile. "Always, Dean. See you inside," you replied. You and Sam be careful too, Dean, you said in silent prayer.
Quickly and quietly, you made your way to the back door. The wooden steps to the porch looked like they had seen too many blistering summers and frostbitten winters to still be stable. You carefully climbed the steps, sticking to the edges where the wood appeared to be less worn.
You gingerly tested the doorknob, only to find that it turned easily in your hand. An unlocked door could mean one of two things: a careless witch or you had just walked into her trap. While you were hoping for the first option, with your luck, you had a feeling it was probably door #2. You tiptoed through the kitchen, through the living room and down the hall to the bedrooms. First bedroom on the right was clear, second one across the hall was also clear.
As you carefully approached the last bedroom, you realized that you hadn't seen Sam or Dean yet. You stopped and strained your ears for any confirmation that they had even entered the house yet. Just as you were about to resume your progress towards the bedroom door, you felt a hand on your shoulder. You whipped around, only to be confronted by the mossy green orbs of one Dean Winchester.
With your heart hammering in your chest, you took a moment for it to return to normal before continuing your trek down the hall. "What is wrong with you?" you hissed. "You shouldn't just sneak up on me like that!"
"Well, excuse me," he shot back. "First of all, I didn't expect for you to have gotten this far without running into the witch. And 'B', isn't it better to go in knowing you have backup than only hoping you do?" he retorted.
You took a deep breath before answering. "You're right. Sorry Dean," you whispered. "Let's get this witch taken down so we can blow this popstand," you replied.
Dean nodded and motioned for you to continue down the hall. You turned the doorknob and slowly swung the door open. You entered the room first to assess the situation, while Dean stood just outside the door, ready to bust in if needed.
The witch had her back to you as she sprinkled something into a bowl. All of a sudden she raised her arms above her head as if in victory and turned to face the doorway. "I was wondering when you hunters were going to show up. I've been expecting you," she smirked.
Before you could raise your weapon, she picked up the bowl and threw its contents at you. The blue powder from the bowl doused you almost completely from head to toe. As she chanted some words in Latin, the powder started to glow and burn a bit wherever it touched bare skin. You cried out in pain, at which time Dean entered the room and fired his weapon. The witch fell to the floor, dead from the witch-killing bullet he fired.
"Dean," you pleaded softly as you started to feel faint.
"Whoa, hold on there. Stay with me, sweetheart," Dean said as he rushed to catch you before you could hit the floor. He called out for Sam, who had finally caught up with you and Dean. Sam scooped you up in his arms and carried you out to the Impala.
Dean filled him in on what had happened between you and the witch. "I don't know what kind of spell she got hit with, so we're going to have to be ready for just about anything," Dean said grimly.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
You carefully opened your eyes enough to notice that you were back in your room, in your bed instead of the backseat of the Impala. You decided to sit up, only to be met with a splitting headache. A groan of pain escaped your lips as you eased back onto your pillow and draped your bandaged arm across your eyes.
There was a soft knock at your door, then you heard it creak open. "Hiya, sweetheart," Dean said softly. "How're you feeling?" he asked.
"Like I got hit by a truck. Twice," you grumbled.
Dean chuckled. "Here, I gotcha," he said as he handed you a couple of painkillers and a bottle of water. He helped you up to a sitting position, putting pillows between your back and the headboard.
"Thank you," you replied. "What the hell happened? The last thing I remember is that witch throwing a bowl of some kind of powder at me. Then I remember her chanting something, the powder burning into my skin, then you killed her," you finished.
"Well, that's about it, you collapsed after that and we brought you back here in the Impala," Dean explained. "Sam brought you in and put you on your bed," he remarked.
"How long was I out?" you asked.
"You've been out for about a day and a half, sweetheart," he remarked softly. "We called Rowena to see if she could tell what you may have been hit with, so we'd know how to counteract it. And, oh yeah, Crowley tagged along, just so you know," he grumbled.
"Oh. Fabulous," you deadpanned. "I'll bet he's just been a joy to be around," you snorted.
Dean laughed. "Yeah, he said he was bored in Hell, so he latched on to Mummy's magic bag to show up here," he grinned.
You reached over and took Dean's hand in yours. "Hey, in case I forgot to tell you, Dean....thank you for getting me out of there and taking care of me here," you remarked softly.
He shifted a little in his seat and nervously rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, sure, no problem. All in a day's work, you know," he said as he jumped up from the chair. "Um, I'm uh....gonna just....yeah. I'll check in on you later," Dean then bolted out of your room.
What the hell was that all about? you thought, as you replayed the conversation in your mind. When you got to the part where you took his hand, you mentally smacked yourself in the forehead. He was fine until then, you realized. After that it was awkward, because he doesn't want you to get the wrong idea. He's telling you that he doesn't think of you in 'that way'. You leaned your head back against the headboard and squeezed your eyes shut, willing the tears not to fall.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
It's been almost ten years since you came to live in the bunker. You met the Winchesters through a mutual friend, Sheriff Donna Hanscum, whom you've known since high school. She never knew you were a hunter until after Sam and Dean showed up at that spa she went to. You had caught wind of some strange things happening at that spa, so you went in with her, but undercover as a patient.
You and Sam clicked instantly, becoming best friends. You both nerded out about the same things, like books, sci-fi, and research. You liked the same kinds of movies and were more at home in a library than the bar.
You and Dean were a different story. At first, you didn't get along at all, because he thought you would be someone else he'd have to be responsible for. That is, until you stepped in front of the swipe of a werewolf's claws to save his life. Despite your condition, you still managed to fire off three silver bullets at its heart to kill it before collapsing from your injury. After that, Dean seemed to see you as a fellow hunter, rather than a civilian he had to constantly keep watch over.
Too bad he didn't also see you as a woman--full of passion, kindness and understanding, with eyes only for him. You watched as he showered his attention and affections on countless other women, just not on the one woman who truly knew and loved him. So, you handled your feelings by using the Winchester Method: you shoved them down out of the way and pretended that they didn't exist.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
A couple of hours later, you carefully got out of bed and wandered into the kitchen. You picked up the teakettle, filled it with water and added several pinches of your special blend of tea. While you waited, you grabbed your favorite cup from the cabinet and took a seat at the table.
"Well hello, dear! Nice to see ye up and around, 'specially after what ye've been through, darlin'," a voice from behind you said. You turned to see it was Rowena, which brought a small smile to your face.
"Hello, Rowena," you replied. "Any luck figuring out what we're up against?" you asked.
"Not yet, dearie. Still workin' on it, but don't ye worry abou' it," Rowena assured you.
"I hope so," you murmured. "Would you like some tea?" you asked.
Rowena shook her head and smiled. At that moment, Sam, Dean and Castiel came into the kitchen and walked over to the table. Sam and Cas each squeezed your shoulder as they took their seats. "Hey, sweetheart, you must be feeling better," Dean remarked as he kissed the top of your head.
You smiled and nodded. The teakettle whistled that it was ready to serve, so you rose from the table. "You guys want some tea? I made some from my secret stash," you grinned.
The boys all nodded, so you got out three extra cups, along with the cream, sugar and honey. You poured cups of tea for everyone, then resumed your seat at the table. You added a bit of creamer and some sugar to your tea.
"So, what's in this 'special blend' of tea you made?" Sam asked.
"Well, it's got some dried orange zest in it, some cinnamon, black tea leaves, ground nutmeg. And a few other secret ingredients," you winked conspiratorially.
"Mmm, I think it's delicious," Cas remarked as he took another sip, with Sam nodding in agreement.
Dean watched as you absently stirred your tea, while the others talked among themselves. Your furrowed brow showed him you were still coming to terms with what had happened in the past few days.
It had not yet been determined what kind of curse you'd been hit with, and he knew you had to be worried. Your eyes glistened a bit with unshed tears which told him you might be more than a little scared of that unknown. You stood up from the table just as he was about to reach out for your hand to comfort you.
"I think I'll go take a shower. Might feel a bit more human if I do, after wearing the same clothes for the past few days. Excuse me," you murmured as you left the kitchen. Dean stared after you, wanting so badly to help you. To show you it was okay to be scared, and that he would do everything in his power to figure out how to reverse the spell.
At that moment, Crowley waltzed into the kitchen. "Hello, Mother, Feathers, Moose, Squirrel," he drawled. "Where's our little Mouse? Can't complete the clubhouse roll call unless she's here to sound off," he smirked.
"She left to go take a shower," Dean grumbled as he brushed past Crowley out of the kitchen.
Crowley noticed Dean's full cup of tea and took a drink. "This is wonderful, delicious, wherever did it come from?" he asked. Sam told him it was from your own homemade blend of tea and spices. Crowley shrugged and continued to drink the tea.
As the men continued to drink the tea, Rowena noticed a bit of a change in each one. Their thoughts seemed to become more focused towards you, and had also turned more amorous in nature. Before she could voice her observations, Sam left the table after downing the rest of his tea.

After your shower, you brought your favorite book and settled into a chair in the library. Once you had made yourself comfortable, Sam approached you and knelt beside your chair. He smiled up at you as he took your hand in his and brushed his lips across the back of it.
"Sam, what's going on?" you asked in bewilderment.
"N-nothing, I just wanted to spend some time with you, be around you. What book are you reading?" he asked.
You were a bit confused at the sudden focus of Sam's attention on you. But you pushed it aside for the moment and explained the plot of the book you were reading. He asked if he could read it aloud to you, which you politely declined. Then he broke out the best version of his puppy-dog eyes, and you were powerless to resist. You relented with a smile, and he suggested that you curl up with him on the couch to be more comfortable.
Moving from your chair to the couch, you made sure to bring your favorite blanket with you. Once you got all settled, you showed Sam where you left off in your book so he could start reading. The gentle lilt of Sam's voice as he read to you caused your eyelids to feel heavy until you could no longer keep them open.
Dean walked through the library just in time to see you curled up with Sam, and for Sam to press a kiss to your forehead. An uncomfortable feeling settled into his chest, but he had no idea why. He shook it off for the moment and headed for the garage to work on the Impala.
About an hour later, you awoke to find Sam's arms around you and his cheek pressed against your forehead. You tried to extract yourself, but Sam tightened his embrace a bit more. "Mmm, don't go Baby, stay here with me a little longer," he mumbled.
Baby? you wondered. Since when am I 'Baby' to anyone around here?!? your thoughts screamed.
You managed to wriggle yourself out of his arms and into a upright position. "Sam, wake up. Sam! Wake up!" you shook his arm to try and rouse him. Your efforts were unsuccessful, because he stayed asleep. Puzzled, you picked up your book and your blanket then returned to your room.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The next morning, you woke to find that Castiel had set the table for the two of you to have breakfast. "Good morning," he greeted you with a wide smile.
Not quite awake yet, you answered him with a yawn then a smile. "Good morning, Cas. What's going on here?" you asked, gesturing towards the table.
"I thought it would be nice to have breakfast made for you when you awakened, Honeybee," he stated.
'Honeybee'? What is going on with the men in this bunker lately?!? you thought. "Well, you certainly brought out one of my favorites, peanut butter and banana toast," you grinned.
You reached for two slices of bread from the wrapper. Cas took them from your hands before you could put them in the toaster. "Please, allow me," he said. He added the bread to be toasted and proudly pushed down on the lever.
When it was finished, the bread popped up, perfectly golden brown, with no burnt edges. Cas placed the toast on a plate and set it on the table. Just as he was about to pick up the knife to spread the peanut butter, you stopped him. "Cas, not that I don't appreciate it, but I don't mind fixing my own toast. You've done so much already, why don't you take a little break?" you suggested.
His face fell a bit, then all of a sudden lit up. "I just remembered that you like to drink milk with your peanut butter toast. Be back in just a moment," he grinned, tapping the end of your nose before heading to the fridge. Cas returned shortly with a small glass of cold milk. "Here you are, Honeybee," he remarked shyly.
"Thank you, Cas. Exactly what I needed. So, what are your plans today?" you asked.
"I'm glad you asked. I was going to see if you would like to go on a walk with me, maybe see some wildflowers? I know of a lovely field we could visit, if you are interested....?" he asked, his voice full of hope.
You were planning on doing some research to try and find something to counteract the curse. You also didn't want to be too far away from the bunker in case a cure was found. From the look on Castiel's face, though, you couldn't bear to disappoint him.
"That sounds lovely, Cas. We could leave in an hour, if you wish. That would give me time to finish my breakfast, take a shower and all that," you added.
"I shall endeavor to keep myself busy until you return, my sweet Honeybee," Cas said as he took hold of your hand and gently kissed the back. With a whoosh of his wings, he was gone.
As soon as he had gone out of sight, you slumped over the table, putting your head in your hands. Dean arrived in the kitchen shortly after hearing you let out a groan of frustration. "What's with you this morning?" he asked.
You returned to an upright position. "Good morning, Dean. Cas made me breakfast today, which was very sweet, and now he wants me to go with him to check out a field of wildflowers. I think there's something very strange going on around here. I wish I knew what it was," you grumbled.
"Why is Cas wanting to spend time with you and do things for you 'strange'? Do you not enjoy his company? I mean, if you don't want to go, just tell him. Don't string him along, Princess," Dean retorted.
You looked at Dean with a mixture of shock, anger and hurt on your face. "Like I said, something strange is going on around here. First Sam, then Cas, now you," you retorted as you bolted from your chair.
Dean closed his eyes and instantly felt remorse for what he had said, because he knew you weren't like that. You didn't play games with people's emotions, and when you loved someone, you did it with your whole heart. Unfortunately, doing so had led to your heart being broken by too many others along the way.
He understood about your independent nature, which was one of the things he admired about you. To have anyone do anything for you was sometimes hard for you to accept. You were so used to being the one who cared for or catered to others, not so much the other way around.
As he gave it more thought, he realized that neither Sam nor Cas had shown any romantic interest in you until recently. Dean began to wonder if maybe you had a point about strange things going on in the bunker. He promised himself that when you came back from your outing with Cas, that he would apologize.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
You and Cas spent a lovely afternoon walking through a field of wildflowers. Cas told you about every species of flower and what each color meant. He found a spot underneath a willow tree, where he produced a picnic basket containing assorted fruits and cheeses. You showed him how to make flower crowns as someone had once shown you. Then you placed one on his head and took a picture.
Upon your return to the bunker, you searched for a vase to hold the wildflowers you and Cas had picked. As you arranged the flowers, Cas placed his hands on your shoulders, then began to run them up and down your arms. When you had finished with the flowers, Cas took one of your hands in his and led you into the library.
Cas punched some buttons on his phone. After appearing quite frustrated at times, he finally relaxed and music started playing from his phone. He pulled you into his arms and started dancing with you, a love-struck grin on his face.
At one point, Cas spun you out away from him, which is the exact moment that Dean walked into the library. He looked at you and Cas dancing with a raised eyebrow, which caused your face to grow warm. "C-Cas, th-thank you for a lovely afternoon," you stammered. "Sorry," you mumbled as you brushed past Dean and out of the room.
"Cas? Is there something going on between you two?" Dean asked.
A large grin spread across Cas' face as he sighed deeply before answering Dean's question. "I'm not sure, Dean. I've never felt the way I do except when I'm with her. I would be the luckiest man in all of Creation if she loved me," he answered dreamily. Then he seemed to snap back to reality. "I must go, I am needed elsewhere," Cas said, returning to what Dean considered "normal" for Cas.
Dean shook his head, even more confused as to what was going on. First, you were snuggled up with Sam, then dancing with Castiel. He decided to check in with Rowena to see if she knew anything more.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
While Dean was in the library trying to figure things out, you were sitting on the edge of your bed trying to do the same thing. A knock on your door interrupted your thoughts. Your visitor was literally the last person you ever expected to see. Crowley had on an apron, covered in flour and bits of what looked like cake batter stuck to it.
"Good evening, Love," he bowed and took your hand in his. "I was wondering if you would consider, um, helping me with a small problem. You see, someone told me you were a fan of cheesecakes, and I ran into some difficulty trying to make you one. Might I request the honor of your assistance in the kitchen, so you can show me the proper....technique?" he suggested.
It took every ounce of self-control you had not to break out into laughter or tears. The absurd events of the last two days were leading you to believe the witch put an insanity curse on you. Quickly regaining your composure, you told Crowley that you would meet him in the kitchen in about 10 minutes. "Until then, my darling," he remarked softly, placing a lingering kiss on your cheek.
As soon as the door was closed, you sank down on the edge of the bed again. "This is too weird," you whispered to yourself. "Now Crowley wants to spend time with me?? This is some curse I've got on me. I think it's making me lose my mind," you mused.
When you opened your door, you heard a heated argument occurring in the kitchen between Sam, Cas and Crowley. You walked slowly to the kitchen, catching bits and pieces of the harsh words spoken between the men. Each one claimed to love you more than the other two, and promised to fight anyone who dared try and take you away.  Insults were traded and fists were raised, ready to do battle.
You turned around and were headed back to your room when you ran smack into Dean. "Well, Princess, looks like you hit the jackpot in there," he snarled, his arms folded across his chest.
"I--" was all you could say.
"Congratulations, you've got every woman's fantasy going on in that kitchen. Three men fighting for her affections," he taunted.
"Not every woman, Dean. Not me," you choked out as you pushed away from him, tears streaming down your face.
Dammit! How did I end up doing and saying the exact opposite of what I wanted? Dean thought. I need to go talk to Rowena, see if she knows anything else about this curse, he decided. First things first, though, he was going to put a stop to what was happening in the kitchen.
"ENOUGH!" he thundered. Sam, Castiel and Crowley all turned to look at Dean. "Everyone retreat to a neutral corner until we can figure out what's going on," he ordered.
Dean turned down the hallway to Rowena's room. As he came around the corner, you briefly met his gaze as you passed him in the hallway, only to quickly drop it again. Dean reached out his hand for yours. "Wait," he pleaded.
You shook your head at him, fresh tear tracks evident on your cheeks. "No, Dean. I don't want to talk to you right now. I never meant for any of this to happen. I think it's best if I remove myself from the equation for the time being. At least until Rowena can figure out how to reverse the spell," you finished. With that, you closed and locked your bedroom door.
Dean's heart ached to hear the pain in your voice and to see your tear-stained face. He knocked on Rowena's door and entered her room when she granted him access. "What can I do fer ye, Dean?" she asked in her lilting accent.
He mentioned how he had just left the kitchen, where Sam, Cas and her beloved son were fighting over you. "They've all been paying extra attention to her, being all romantic and stuff. What's weird, is that they've never even shown any kind of interest in her before," Dean explained.
"Sam's reading with her and snuggling on the couch, Cas is taking her out for a picnic and to pick wildflowers." He turned to Rowena, pointed his finger at her and narrowed his eyes. "Your son is wearing an apron, asking her to teach him how to bake a damn cheesecake," he huffed. "I swear, it's as if that witch cast a--" he broke off.
"A love spell?" Rowena asked. "Tha's exactly what it was," she confirmed.
"Can you reverse it?" Dean asked.
"I can, but.....," she started.
"But what?" Dean asked.
"It's no' real love that Samuel, Castiel and Fergus have for her. When they realize that fact, it's bound to be a bit awkward at first. They may act a little distant towards her, and she will think she’s done something wrong to make them pull away. She'll believe that the friendship she has with each of them has been ruined, that it's over. It could break her kind and generous heart," Rowena explained.
Dean dropped his gaze to the floor. He knew Rowena was right, and that you would probably isolate yourself in an attempt to maintain order in the bunker.
"Of course, once the right man declares his feelings for the wee lassie, her heart will mend. In time, anyway. Then Samuel, Castiel and Fergus won't feel like they have to stay away from her," she continued.
Dean noticed how she had suddenly focused her attention on him and scoffed. "Whoa, do you mean me? That I should declare my feelings for her? I'm not--"
"Aren't ye?" Rowena asked softly. "Search your heart, Dean. Ye've been in love with her for a while now, haven't ye? Seeing her together with another man, let alone three? Doing the type of romantic things that ye've thought abou' doin' with her? I'd say it's enough to make any normal man just a wee bit jealous. I can only imagine what it's doin' to ye," she remarked.
"Pfft," was the best response he could muster for the moment. "Start working on that spell reversal. I need to head into town for some supplies," Dean replied.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The next morning, Rowena announced that she had prepared the antidote for the witch's love spell. Turns out, it was your tea that had triggered the exaggerated feelings of love. You touched the tea blend with your fingers to add it to the water in the teakettle. Then, the effects of the spell were transferred to whomever drank the tea.
Each man drank the concoction and waited for its effects to kick in, which didn't take long once the antidote was consumed. As predicted, there were profuse apologies to you from all three men. They all assured you that though they didn't think of you romantically, they still loved you in their own way. You smiled and assured them that you were fine, no harm done, that you knew that the right someone was still out there.
But behind your closed bedroom door, it was a different story. At night, you laid awake, staring at the ceiling. You understood that their attention to you was only because of the spell.
You remembered how Sam, Castiel and Crowley all looked at you. You tried not to think about how it would feel to have Dean look at you just once the way they did. Still, you knew that the chances of Dean feeling that way about you for real were slim to none. Especially after everything he said while the others were under the spell.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Today marked a full week since you'd gone into hiding, emerging only for little more than a shower and something to eat. You took most of your meals in your room, instead of eating at the table with everyone else. Dean was growing increasingly worried about you, and was determined to get you to break out of your sanctuary.
He knocked at your door relentlessly, trying to coax you out with offers of a movie marathon with your favorite snacks. He even suggested a midnight stargazing outing in the Impala. However, nothing seemed to be working.
At one point you heard, "You can't ignore me forever, sweetheart," he muttered against your door. Oh yeah? You thought defiantly. Watch me.
Halfway through week two of your self-imposed exile, you needed a new book to read. You carefully unlocked and opened your bedroom door, then looked down the hall. No one was in sight in either direction, so you tiptoed out of your room and into the library. You chose a nice, thick book, then rushed back to your room before anyone could see you. Once back inside your room, you quickly closed and re-locked the door, breathing a deep sigh of relief.
"Hey, sweetheart," a voice rumbled from someone sitting in the chair in the corner.
The heavy book dropped from your hands and nearly fell on your toes. You gasped in surprise and clutched at your hammering heart. "What did I tell you about sneaking up on me?!? Not to do it, if I recall," you retorted.
"Didn't really leave me much choice, though, did you? I wasn't sure if you ever wanted to see me again, but I wanted to see you. Been hiding in here for almost two weeks now," Dean remarked softly.
"I've had my reasons, Dean. This whole curse thing has left me more confused than ever. Sam, Cas and even Crowley never thought of me romantically until that spell came along. And you? You've made your feelings clear about the whole situation at every turn.
"So," you continued. "On the one hand, it takes a 'love spell' for guys like Sam, Cas and Crowley to want to be with someone like me. On the other hand, when I am with someone like them, you don't like it and make nasty remarks about the whole thing. Please tell me, Dean, where's the incentive to make me want to be anywhere but in my room by myself? Hmm?" you challenged.
Dean rose from the chair in the corner and strode over to the door where you were still standing. He stood close enough for you to detect his woodsy cologne, mixed with the mint of his mouthwash. He reached up and tenderly tucked a stray lock of hair behind your ear.
"I understand how you feel. But, before I do this, I need you to know that I have always loved you," he said softly. The hand that had so recently fixed your hair slid around to the back of your head. It pulled you closer until your lips meshed with Dean's in a hungry, demanding kiss.
Dean swallowed the soft moan of pleasure that escaped your lips. His free arm snaked around your waist to bring you flush against his body. His kisses roamed everywhere, trying to leave no territory untouched. Your cheeks, your neck, collarbone and more was all fair game for Dean. "So beautiful," he murmured against your shoulder.
"Dean," you whispered. You reached up to cup Dean's face with your hands, stroking his cheek with your thumbs. You tangled your fingers into his spiky hair and gently tugged on it, earning a groan of appreciation.
Dean's hands roamed up and down your back, gripping and releasing the fabric of your shirt. When the need for air became too great, the kissing was broken, leaving you and Dean each trying to catch your breath. You put your foreheads together as your breathing slowly returned to normal.
Dean took your hands and guided you to sit next to him on the edge of your bed. "Baby, I'm so sorry for what I said to you before when that whole thing with the spell was going on. I guess it was because I was jealous of Sam, Cas and even Crowley," he admitted with a sheepish grin.
"Oh, my love. There wasn't anything to be jealous of. It was kind of weird, all of a sudden having those guys chasing after me," you giggled. You brought your hand down to cup his cheek, running your thumb over his stubbled jawline. "It's always been you that I've been in love with for so long. But, I thought you'd only ever see me as a fellow hunter, or at most, a best friend. Never as the woman who loves you," you replied softly.
"Darlin', what I see before me is a woman who lights up a room whenever she walks into it. A woman with a kind and generous heart that tends to put the needs of others before her own. I see a woman with an exceptional sense of humor, who's smart and sexy as hell. And just as she has chosen me, I choose her. Every time," he finished.
"I love you, Dean," you said softly.
"I love you too, sweetheart," he replied as he leaned in to recapture your lips in a soft, sweet kiss.

Heartache & Whiskey
Tumblr media
Summary: (Y/N) keeps dreaming of her ex to the point where she reaches out to him to get whatever closure she can. Little did she know fate would step in and set her feet on the path she was always meant to be on. Characters: Jensen Ackles, Joel (OMC),  Reader Pairing: Joel (OMC) x Reader (Past) / Jensen x Reader Warnings: Angst/Fluff/Smut Word Count: 3806 Prompt: “I don’t owe you an explanation.” / “I dare you to kiss me.” / “I bet the neighbors know my name.” A/N: For @supernatural-jackles SPN Bi-Weekly Writing Challenge
The familiar room brought a tightness around (Y/N)’s chest. Furniture all in the same spots and pictures of them hung on the wall. Smiling faces with dark secrets hidden behind them. His piercing cobalt eyes made her heart skip still. With everything that had happened between them, his power over her was still overwhelming.
“Hey (Y/N)...” his deep voice brings shivers down her spine.
Turning around he was standing there dressed in the same clothes as the day he left. Her favorite blue button down shirt and black slacks. She now hated that shade of blue with every fiber of her being. Her chest ached as her heart thumped firmly against it.
“W-What are you doing here?” (Y/N) took a couple of steps away from him, but he matched her movements.
“I needed to see you. I made a mistake by leaving you. I thought what I wanted was something else, but it’s not. I should have realized what I had from the beginning. I need you in my life.”
He reached out and took her trembling hand in his, their fingers lacing together. The very words she had prayed to hear finally floating to her ears. Pulling her in against his body, (Y/N) immediately relaxed into his embrace.
“Joel…”
(Y/N) woke up her heart beating rapidly as her alarm beeps continuously. Taking a few deep breaths, she dismissed the alarm and groaned. It was the fourth time this week she had that very dream. She swung her legs over the edge of her bed letting a brisk rush of air escape her lips in frustration. (Y/N) knew Joel would never utter those words to her even if he was paid too. He did not love her. Honestly, she assumed he never did. She was convenient at the time for hiding the secret he had.
There was something about this dream that made her doubt her reasonings. Maybe, just maybe, she should reach out to him. Looking at her phone, she hurriedly grabbed her clothes and made her way to the bathroom to get ready for work. Her roommate, Kenzie, is already up and making coffee in their kitchen.
“Another dream?” she handed her a travel mug of the liquid energy as she nodded, “Well try to forget about it and focus on the fact that my brother is coming to stay the weekend with us.”
(Y/N)’s brow crooked upward, “The actor, right?”
Kenzie rolled her eyes, “Yes the actor. You should check out his show instead of always hiding your nose in a book.”
(Y/N) chuckled, “No thank you. I’ll stay in my books since that is what I get paid to do. Now, I’m off to see the wizard.”
“Have a wonderful day, Dorothy!”
(Y/N) sat at her desk with a pile of manuscripts to read, unable to focus. She pulled up Joel’s Facebook page, something she had not done for months, seeing a few things had changed. His profile picture of just a picture of himself and his relationship status was set to single.
“Trouble in paradise after all…” she muttered, clicking out of the window.
She pulled up their last email exchange from over a year prior. For a full minute she hovered the cursor over the reply button before clicking it.
“Hey Joel, it’s been a while. I was hoping to talk with you about a few things if you're available. There’s a coffee shop at 6th and Main Street. Will you meet me there at six o’clock? Hope you’re doing well, (Y/N).”
She minimized the window revealing her desktop picture of Kenzie and her in Dallas visiting her family. Smiling (Y/N) picked up the nearest manuscript and began reading. She was packing up for the day when she checked her email seeing a reply from Joel.
“Hey (Y/N), nice to hear from you. Luckily, I have nothing on my schedule for tonight so I’ll be there at six. See you then, Joel.”
(Y/N) took a shaky breath as butterflies filled her stomach. Grabbing her things, she made her way home to get ready for whatever this meeting was to bring. Upon entering her apartment, the spicy scent of Mexican food being cooked hit her.
“Kenz, please tell me you’re not trying to cook again?” She turned the corner to find a tall, muscular man standing in front of their oven, “Who are you?”
As he turned around, (Y/N) was awestruck by his striking features. He had short, sandy brown hair and shining emerald eyes peering into hers. His perfect, plump lips spread wide revealing perfect teeth beneath them. His broad shoulders and chest narrowed into a lean waist with long legs. He was truly the most beautiful man she had ever seen in her life.
“Hi, I’m Jensen, Kenzie’s brother.” He held his hand out to her.
She placed hers within his and an electric current shot up through her arm making her suck in a short breath, “H-Hi…”
At the moment, Kenzie came bounding in, “Oh good you two met. Jensen is making his famous enchiladas.”
(Y/N) tore her eyes away from the stunning man cooking delicious food in the kitchen to her phone for the time. She had fifteen minutes to get to the coffee shop at the corner of her street.
“It smells great. I have to meet someone at six at the coffee shop, but it should be no more than an hour. Is that okay?” Looking up at Kenzie she found her soft olive eyes narrowing in on her.
Jensen placed his arm around his sister’s shoulders, “Yeah, I just started cooking so it will take me a little while. I can always keep it warm in the oven. Take you time.”
(Y/N) smiled with a nod before grabbing her purse and heading for the door. She could still feel Kenzie’s eyes on her as she shut it behind her. Taking a deep breath, (Y/N) walked out of her building’s lobby and towards the coffee shop.
Stepping inside, she looked around seeing she was the first one to arrive. She ordered her normal drink and picked a table towards the back that was slightly private. After twenty minutes of waiting, she pulled out her phone to check her email to see if he had sent her anything. Annoyed to see he had not, she messed with her empty cup.
“May I join you?” the smooth voice surprised her as she looked up to see Jensen standing with his own coffee in hand.
He took a seat across from her as panic filled her body, “What are you doing here?” she whispered harshly.
He smiled softly, “Well it was me or my sister. I figured I was more level headed than she was. She swears you’re meeting your ex here.”
As she rolled her eyes she noticed Joel walk in the door, “Crap. Of course she would know what I was doing.”
Jensen followed her line of sight and scoffed before moving to the chair next to her. He rested his arm across the back of her chair. Joel approached their table with a stern look on his face.
“(Y/N).” His voice was cold and sharp, “Who’s this?”
“Jensen, nice to finally meet you Joel. Heard a lot about you.” Jensen shook his hand firmly holding his gaze.
Joel sat down frowning, “Trust me, it’s probably all a stretch from the trust.”
Now it was (Y/N)’s turn to frown, “Jensen is my roommate’s brother.”
“Whatever. So, what did you want to talk about? I don’t have that much time.” Joel looked down to his expensive watch and then looked towards the door.
Between Joel’s abrasiveness and Jensen’s mere presence, she found herself at a loss for words, “U-Um… I just thought maybe we could catch up on life.”
“So you just wanted to show off your pretty boy toy here. That is so like you, (Y/N).” Joel rolled his eyes.
“No.. it’s not…” She felt Jensen’s fingers trailing down her arm as she snapped her eyes to Jensen pursing her lips into a firm line, “Tell him.”
Joel stood up, “I don’t have time for your games (Y/N). That’s why I left you in the first place. Trying to be someone you’re not. You’re truly pathetic.”
Her heart shattered and shame washed over her body. As Joel walked away, Jensen stood up leaning in towards her, “Walk out after me and kiss me.”
“What?!” she snapped.
“I dare you to kiss me. Come after me and kiss me.” Jensen started after Joel.
She watched as the two men, Jensen clearly a few inches taller than Joel, having heated words. (Y/N) grabbed her purse and made her way outside just in time to hear Joel yell.
“I don’t owe you an explanation! She’s all yours.”
(Y/N) stepped in front of Jensen pushing her body up and pressing her lips firmly against his. His strong arms wrapped around her waist immediately before his hands traveled up her sides and cupped her face.
“(Y/N) don’t contact me again. Bitch.”
Jensen pulled away from her. His jaw clenched as a low growl rumbled in his chest, “Son of bitch…”
“D-Don’t. He’s not worth it and I should have known better.” She pressed her hand against his chiseled chest, “T-Thank you for putting on their charade.”
His hands were resting on her shoulders as he closed his eyes taking a deep breath. She was surprised when he leaned his forehead against hers, “I’m just glad I could help you out. That dude is a douche and you deserve better than him.”
(Y/N) took a step back from Jensen shrugging, “I guess, though your sister will tell you I’m only attracted to douchebags.”
“Are you attracted to me?” He had closed the distance between them once again by slipping his arm around her shoulders and leading back towards her apartment.
She chuckled, “I don’t think there’s a person breathing who doesn’t find you attractive.”
They walked through the lobby doors and up the stairs entering her apartment once again. After hearing the riot act from Kenzie they all sat down to eat dinner. (Y/N)’s stomach churned as she pretended to move her food around her plate. Kenzie decided to go out with her friends for the evening as Jensen told her he just wanted to relax after traveling.
(Y/N) sat at one end of the couch with a manuscript in her lap. Jensen was at the other end flipping through various shows and movies on Netflix. The air between them, sending  electric currents throughout her body making her restless. Giving up on her manuscript, she got up pulling out her secret stash of whiskey and two glasses.
“I don’t know about you but I could use a drink.” She handed him a glass pouring the amber liquor until half full and then one for herself.
After an hour of drinking, (Y/N) and Jensen were swapping stories of their childhoods and lives. Rich laughter echoing throughout the apartment. After the bottle was near empty the overwhelming sadness she had been trying to keep at bay washed over her. The tears that had threatened to fall now breaking through the dam she had built up. Jensen was sitting on the floor in front of her with his head resting on her knee.
When she could not keep the sniffle from escaping her lips, she tried to play it off. Jensen’s deep olive eyes cut through every defense she had up. He sat next to her on the couch and pulled her into his side.
“Let it out, (Y/N). It’s okay.” His tender kindness broke the final wall and she unleashed the overwhelming anguish, embarrassment and shame that had been buried deep within her.
(Y/N) did not know how long they sat there, but finally the tears stopped falling and the pain subsided for a brief moment. Jensen took off his long sleeve plaid shirt leaving himself in a plain black t-shirt. He wiped her face softly. She looked up at him and before she could think about what she was doing, (Y/N) kissed him.
As she was going to pull away from him, Jensen’s hands went to her waist lifting to straddle his lap. The tip of his tongue pressed against her lips asking permission that she willingly gave to him. He kissed her slowly and his hands slid up her sides to her either side of her face. They parted each of them with labored breaths. Suddenly, everything Joel said hit her and she scrambled away from Jensen.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have…” She walked into her bedroom running her hand through her hair.
Jensen was right behind her, “What are you apologizing for?”
(Y/N) shook her head, “He’s right about me. I’m nothing. You’re a nice guy, with a great career, a loving family. You should be with someone more beautiful, smarter, more creative. Not with a loser like me.”
She yelped in surprise as Jensen caught her elbow and spun her to him. Her hands braced against his chest as he held her shoulders firmly.
“I don’t believe anything that jackass says. He’s so full of himself that the only person that will ever satisfy him is him. It’s his loss for not seeing how incredibly lucky he was to have you in his life.”
She scoffed trying to look away from him, “You don’t even know me.”
Jensen loosened his grip only to wrap his arms around her, “I feel like I do know you though. From Kenzie talking non-stop about how talented you are. Writing, painting, singing. You’re incredibly smart because my dad hasn’t stopped talking about you beating him while watching Jeopardy. Your kind, loving, caring for those who are in need according to my mom and her church group.”
(Y/N) bit her bottom lip as he continued, “I can see for myself how stunningly beautiful you are that is amplified when you laugh. Your eyes are soulful. Your smile is blinding. Your body is alluring.”
His lips inched closer and closer to hers with each word he spoke. His breath fanning across her lips and his eyes closed as if he were holding back.
“Show me.” Her voice just barely above a whisper but all Jensen needed to hear.
Their lips crashed together as Jensen scooped down picking her up and wrapping her legs around his waist. He laid her down gently on the bed as his lips trailed down her neck. His hands sliding her shirt up over her head briefly breaking their connection before his lips continued their path down her body. Unhooking the front closure of her bra, his tongue darted out over his lips.
“Gorgeous.” He murmured against her skin.
A soft sigh escaped her lips as his tongue swirled around her peaking nipple. Her hands threaded through his soft hair as he suckled her breast and cupped her other breast with his hand. In a brief moment of clarity, (Y/N) realized just how starved she was of the touch of a man. She wanted his mouth and hands everywhere on her body. She lifted her hips slightly to press her against his firm body relieving some pressure.
He chuckled pushing himself up just enough to look down at her, “Patience. You wanted me to show you how wonderful, beautiful, amazing you are. That takes time pretty girl.”
She let out a shaky breath as he continued kissing down her body. Never once did she feel insecure or uncomfortable with her body. Jensen painstakingly took his time undressing the rest of her until her body was bare. He kneeled beside her, his eyes roaming her body taking it all in.
“There are no words to describe how stunning you are.”
She felt her cheeks burning under his gaze as he ran one finger down the length of her body. He stopped just before hip bone dragging it back up.
“I think you have too many clothes on.” The confidence in her voice surprised her, but smiled as Jensen laughed softly.
He pulled the bottom of his shirt over his head and her eyes widened. His body was tone and sculpted as if an artist had created him. He unfastened his belt and jeans pushing them along with his boxers to the ground stepping out of them. A soft gasp escaped her lips as her aching mound clenched upon seeing his long, thick cock standing out. Instinctively, (Y/N) licked her lips then looked up into his dark, passion filled eyes.
He knelt onto the bed gently taking her hand and wrapping her fingers around his shaft. A low groan sounded from him as she slowly slid her hand loosely up his member. Her thumb circling his slick, swollen head. Jensen leaned down just enough for his long fingers to slip between her slick folds.
“Ohhh…” (Y/N) sighed, her head pressing back against her pillow. His fingers made a few more slowly passes against her as she kept the same pace stroking his cock.
“Shit!” she cried out grasping his thigh as he pushed one then two fingers inside of her, “More… I need more Jensen.”
He pulled his fingers from her bringing them to his lips, “Mmm, you taste so sweet pretty girl.”
She watched in awe as he pulled her to the edge of the bed and knelt in front of her. Kissing down either side of her inner legs before pushing her knees towards her head. With one long stride of his wide tongue against her aching clit she cried out his name. Her hand tugged at his hair as he ravished her. The coil deep within her was wound tight as she abandoned all control grinding herself against his face. His tongue pushed inside of her repeatedly before moving up to her clit and sucking hard.
“Fuck! Jensen!” The wave of pleasure wrecked her body as he lapped over her quivering mound.
Jensen crawled up her body stroking himself slowly, “Are you sure?” His eyes were soft and kind as he asked.
“Absolutely.” (Y/N) wrapped her arms around his shoulders as he rubbed the tip of his length along her slit, “Please Jensen, I need you.”
He slowly pushed himself deep inside of her. His head buried in the crook of her neck muttering as he did, “Fuck, fuck, fuck.”
She could not help the giggle that came from her and with a snap of his hips she cried out hearing him say, “I wasn’t expecting you to be so tight. God, you’re so fucking perfect.”
“Jensen move. Please, please move.” She pleaded wrapping her legs around him as well.
He slowly began to move against her. Small grunts and pants coming from them both. His arms slipped under her back and his hand gripped her shoulders. The way he stretched her perfectly hitting every glorious, sweet spot she had long forgotten about. Tears slipped down the corners of her eyes from the intensity of his love making. She truly felt every word he was whispering in her ear.
“So beautiful. So amazing. So perfect. You’re amazing, (Y/N).”
He pushed himself up bracing his weight on his hands as his pace picked up. The sounds of their skin meeting echoing throughout the room. Her bed frame squeaking with each thrust and her headboard rhythmic thumping against the wall. Droplets of sweat slipped down his jaw and onto her. (Y/N) began meeting his thrusts bringing her closer to the edge of bliss.
“I’m so close, pretty girl. Come with me.” He grunted as his thrusts came in feverish, short bursts.
(Y/N) felt his body tense for a split moment before beginning to shake pushing her over the edge crying out his name, “Jensen! Oh god Jensen, I’m coming!”
Jensen slowly pushed into her, riding out his own climax. He arms trembling from holding his weight up. (Y/N) pulled him down on top of her wrapping her legs around him as he slowly pulled out of her. She could feel him chuckling as she groaned from the loss of their connection. He rolled onto his side pulling her to him.
“I bet the neighbors know my name.” A wide grin spreading across his handsome face.
“I think my neighbors are going to have to get used to hearing your name.” She matched his grin as his body shook with laughter.
He kissed her forehead, “So, you would be okay with us doing that again?”
She nodded snuggling into his chest exhaustion threatening to take her. She felt his lips on the top of her head as she fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, (Y/N) woke to an empty bed. If it had not been for her sore muscles she might have thought it was all a dream. She grabbed Jensen’s black t-shirt and her panties walking out to the smell of coffee and bacon.
“Mornin’.” she mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
“Hmm, good morning pretty girl.” Jensen picked her up, sitting her on the counter and stood between her legs.
He was wearing his jeans as she hooked her ankles around his back, “I could get used to you cooking breakfast.”
Jensen held a piece of bacon to her lips and she took a bite as he spoke, “Does that mean you could get used to you and I being more?”
“I thought the passionate love making clearly answered that.” She chuckled as he plated the remaining bacon.
“It answered certain questions as in, we will most definitely be doing that again and again. Probably on any surface I can possibly get you on.” She bit her lip thinking of all the possibilities, “However I’m still a little fuzzy on the whole ‘more’ thing.”
(Y/N) placed her hands on either side of his face seeing a rare moment of insecurity in his eyes, “Handsome, I’m all yours if you want me. Just know I’m honestly not perfect and I will fuck up all the time.”
He leaned forward, “I’m not perfect either. My schedule is crazy with filming in Vancouver. Our fans are fierce, protective and loyal, but supportive. I’m going to fuck up a lot as well.”
She kissed his lips, “I’m good with that.”
“Are you two decent in there because my god the sounds coming from your room were not last night.” Kenzie’s voice carried into the kitchen as Jensen and (Y/N) began to laugh, “Thank god! Now pass the bacon.”
Jensen handed her the bacon but as he passed (Y/N) he whispered, “I’m all yours as well, pretty girl.”

You stood frozen, staring at the huge door and trying to force yourself to reach up and knock.  It had been two months since you stepped across that threshold, leaving your home and the only man you had ever loved behind.
“You can do this, Y/N.” You told yourself under your breath. You closed your eyes, squeezing them tight, and wrapped your knuckles on the door before you could change your mind. As soon as you did, you felt a knot in your stomach and you planted your feet sternly to keep from running away.
Dean flung open the door, surprised to see you standing on the other side.  You watched as the muscles in his face twitched, his eyes scanning you to be sure he wasn’t seeing things before they rested intensely on your face.  He crossed his arms smugly and leaned a shoulder against the door frame.
“What are you doing here?” He asked without revealing anything in his tone.
You’re eyes immediately fell to the ground in front of you and you took a deep shaky breath.  “I wasn’t sure if you wanted to see me, but I wanted to see you.”  You replied softly, glancing back up at him.
“I don’t want to talk to you right now.”
“But Dean….”  You began, hating yourself for sounding like you were begging.  That wasn’t why you had come.  Dean scoffed.
“No, Y/N.  You made it perfectly clear what you wanted when you walked out.”  He snapped. You caught movement over his shoulder, taking your attention away from his glare for a moment.  Dean glanced behind him when your eyes darted in that direction.
“Is everything okay?” A velvet voice asked.  You watched in stunned silence as a beautiful girl walked up to his side with concern on her face.
“Yeah, it’s fine. I’ll catch up with you later, okay?” He replied, gently.  She let her fingertips rest on his arm for an instant and gave you a tight lipped smile as she stepped past you and walked away to her car.
“Is that your girlfriend?” You asked, watching her get inside and drive off.
“I don’t owe you an explanation.”
“You’re right.  You don’t.”  You admitted with a sigh.  “But, Dean, are you going to hate me forever?”  You pressed.
Dean just shrugged his shoulders, but you could see his anger crack, revealing a sadness in his eyes. He must have realized it because he rolled his eyes and his tongue darted across his lips instead of answering you.
“Guess I can’t hate you for telling the truth.  Loving me is a death sentence.”  He finally mumbled, his arms unfolding as he did.  He shoved his hands in his pockets.
“I didn’t mean that.” You told him, the words coming out in a whisper. Hearing those words thrown back at you felt like a dagger in your heart and you felt a panic as your vision blurred with tears.  “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have come.”
You turned to leave, wanting to run before he saw your tears.  A solitary sob broke free from your throat as you dropped your purse and you scrambled to pick it up.
“Wait….”  Dean said.  You looked up at him to see him flinch, his own inability to let you leave frustrating him.  He closed his eyes for a moment and then reached out his hand to help you back up off the ground.  “You don’t have to go.  Come on inside, if you want.”
You couldn’t hide the surprise on your face, feeling like you hadn’t heard him correctly.  He grinned slightly and his thumb brushed a tear from your cheek.  “Come on.” He added, stepping to the side. With his free hand, he gesturing to the door and followed as you timidly went inside.
Everything looked exactly the same, and for a moment you almost forgot that it wasn’t your home anymore. When the realization hit you again, you quickly shook it out of your mind to keep from crying again.
Your eyes followed Dean as he walked confidently past you and headed to the bar.  He filled a glass that already had a small amount of whiskey in it.  He offered you one, but you just shook your head and he shrugged.  He took the glass in one hand, the bottom sliding along the counter as he dragged it with him.  He walked back around and sat down at the table.
“Don’t take this the wrong way or anything, but what exactly did you think was going to happen when you knocked on that door?”  He asked you.
You looked up at the ceiling, almost laughing at how much you had missed his bluntness.  His eyebrow raised, and you just shook your head to brush the thought away.
“Honestly?”  You began, slowly walking over to the table and sliding down across from him.  “I don’t know what I expected.  I just wanted a chance to tell you that I am sorry for everything that happened and to tell you that I missed you.”
“Missed me?”  He huffed.
“Of course.  Dean, you were my best friend.  Then, you became so much more than that.”  You insisted.  Dean took a drink from the glass in his hand and set it down on the table next to him as he slid forward.
“Then why?  Just tell me the truth, Y/N.  I loved you, really loved you, and I thought you…I thought you felt the same way about me.   I mean, it’s like one day you just stopped and I still have no idea why.”
“I didn’t stop.  I got scared and stupid.”  You admitted.  “When I was lost all those years ago, you found me and you convinced me that everything would be okay.  You made me feel like there wasn’t anything in the world I couldn’t do as long as you were right there beside me.”
“I didn’t really just find you.”  The tiniest sliver of a smile returned to his face, but only for a moment.  “We found each other.  That’s all that matters - at least it was to me.”  He added, the smile disappearing along with his last words.
“It was for me too.” You admitted, letting your thoughts linger for a moment.
Dean took another drink and looked away.  “This isn’t making a whole lot of sense.”  He told you, rolling his eyes.  You stood up and turned away from him then, pressing the palm of your right hand with the thumb of your left.
“I could see the road ahead and the way you always sacrifice yourself.  It’s noble and heroic and makes it so easy to fall in love with you, but when it’s over…..”  You let your words fall away.
Even now, standing in the same room and knowing he was alive, you were still unable to think about the worst without feeling like you were suffocating.  You took a deep breath, running your teeth along your bottom lip.  Dean just watched you, thinking back to the night you walked out and seeing it in a different light.
“I was afraid that no matter how hard we tried we wouldn’t be able to find a way to stop what was coming – and I just couldn’t watch you die.” You finally found the words to continue.  “I could feel myself pulling away the closer we got to the end and wanting to cling so tightly to you at the same time.  I thought I was doing the right thing, that somehow if I didn’t know how it all turned out I could just trick myself into believing that you were safe and happy.”
“And when I tried to stop you from leaving, you said the one thing…”
“…that I knew would make it impossible to change my mind.”  You interrupted as you turned to face him once more, confirming he was right.
Dean let out a deep sigh, slowly lifting the glass to his lips again.  He let it sit there for a moment, closing his eyes as your words sank in. Finally he let the last of the liquid slide past his lips, swallowing his pride along with the whiskey.  You watched in silence as he set the glass down again.
“I wish you would have just told me how you felt.”  He practically whispered, shaking his head.  He had never gotten used to the idea of having someone care for him the way he cared for others.
“You were meant to save the world.  I’ve always believed that and I didn’t want to change you.  I just didn’t think I was strong enough to live in a world without you in it.  Besides, would it have made a difference?”  You asked, laughing a little.  Dean chuckled along with you.
“I don’t know.”  He admitted.  He chewed on his lower lip, his green eyes watching cautiously as you walked around the table and knelt down in front of him.  You reached out and took his hands in yours.
“I know it’s too late, Dean. I just needed you to know that whatever happens, I’m sorry I made you feel like I stopped loving you.  I couldn’t – not ever.”  You promised.
“What if it’s not too late?” He asked.  You could hear the hope in his voice mirroring the hope you felt in your heart.
“But, what about your girlfriend?”  You asked, glancing at the front door as though she was still standing there.  He laughed, which only confused you more.
“She’s not my girlfriend.” He replied.  “She is just an old friend of Sam’s.  He ran into her on a case a few days ago.  She came by looking for him and to drop off some books that he let her use for research.”
“So, are you saying you could forgive me?”  You pressed. Dean smiled, his green eyes staring lovingly at you.  He reached up and brushed back a strand of your hair as he nodded.
“Come here.”  He said, standing and pulling you up with him.  He wrapped his arms around you and hugged you tightly against him.
You hugged him back, your fingers barely tangled in the soft strands of hair.  You inhaled, enjoying the smell that was so uniquely Dean it made you feel like home.
“I can’t promise you that I’ll live forever.”  His words mumbled as he buried his face in your hair.  “But I will do everything I can to make sure I don’t leave you.”
“I can’t promise you that I won’t worry about you, but I realized that I don’t want you to be anyone different for me.  This is what you and Sam do.  It’s who you are and I will never walk out on you like that again.”  You told him.
Staying away from Dean had been the hardest thing you had ever tried to do.  As much as you didn’t want to pull yourself from Dean’s embrace, you leaned back so you could look him in the eye as you continued.
“No matter what happens, I want to spend every moment of this life with you.  I want to know that if the world turns against us, and one of us doesn’t make it home, that we have all our memories to hold onto.  I want to us to say good-bye knowing that we lived a life where we were happy and loved – no matter what, because we deserve that.”
“I still love you so much, Y/N.  I want to spend the rest of my life showing you that you mean the world to me…that is, if you think I won’t scare you away again by doing it.”  He added with a mischievous smirk.
“I dare you to try.” You teased, slipping back into a familiar rhythm with him.
“Oh yeah?”  He chuckled as you smiled up at him and nodded enthusiastically.  Dean leaned his forehead against yours, his smile lingering on his face.  “I dare you to kiss me.”  He said, returning the challenge.
And you did.
