This is now the third message that has been found at the end of this number since fans started calling it after the Cali teaser released back in late 2022.

Back then it was a Happy Birthday jingle, and after that it was Argyle listing off the ingredients to pineapple pizza, and now we have this.

It’s barely more than three seconds and honestly doesn’t ring any bells to me?

Could it mean something? Could it mean nothing?

Yeah it’s hard to tell and sometimes I hate the way costumes look in bts photos but love how they look on screen. I’ve wanted longer nancy hair for a while now and I’m glad we get to see it (instead on turning up the poof every season).

The thing about not believing the hoards of queer ppl saying that mike is gay is that "as a straight person" you don't see the world the same way we do. And when a straight person clocks a gay person it isn't for the same reasons. As gay ppl we see the "signs" cause we've been through the same experiences ourselves. For a straight person you see a gay man having a high voice, or being extra flamboyant, or dressing "girlier". When actually, sure there are gay men like that (and straight men too.), but you probably would not be able to tell if you walked past a queer person on the street. ESPECIALLY in the 80's. Cause gay ppl have always had to HIDE. we aren't clocking anything OUTWARD. (Unless it's a queer signal, specifically worn or said so other queer people know that they're safe) we are seeing the same behaviors and experiences that we ourselves have gone through.

You don't see mike as gay cause he seems "normal" to you. He's just a guy who is in love with a girl who he barely talks to. He's afraid of saying I love you, we've all been through that right? It's not GAY. You'd rather say his writing has just gotten worse. He's just an asshole now. He's a terrible friend. Finn is just a bad actor now. He's not gay. He can't be, cause I'm not.

Oh it’s definitely not, not with ST5 filming/promo coming out. It’s definitely a “they dragged him in by the scruff of his neck going fix this” type video.

Unsurprising, and not particularly slick. Very vague, bare bones to keep him above water as part of ST’s cast.

I’m really starting to lose hope about Eddie’s return now😞 what with Joe’s new role in A Quiet Place and him saying that he’s ready to say goodbye to Eddie.. Like Joe! The rest of us aren’t ready to say goodbye to Eddie though!😭 Like don’t get me wrong, I’m so happy for Joe and wish him all the best with any new projects. Just I honestly don’t think we’re getting Eddie back now..😮‍💨😔

Nothing has changed. Absolutely nothing.

All the symbolism, the way Joe is still doing promo, nothing has changed.

Joe has been telling people "thank you for having him while he was here" since July 1st and look how far we've come since then.

In the past two weeks, we didn't simply get new hints - but we got the first two hints that CAN'T be written off as coincidence, but they are very much intentional. The icon color backgrounds and the Alive in the Upside Down poster are the first two hints at Eddie's return that Netflix put out knowing damn well what kind of havoc they'd cause, how much they'd reaffirm our theories and build our anticipation and confirm our hopes as very much rational instead of delusional, and after the backlash they got after killing Eddie in Vol2 they know they can't do this and not bring him back. They want us to love the final season, and by fueling false hopes they would risk our love for ST and our trust in them, and they can't do that because they want us to watch their spin offs and buy their merch and hype the cinematic universe they're trying to build. If anything, the past two weeks have given us so much more reason to believe Eddie will be back - but of course Joe won't spoil that in an interview with GQ. He will keep lying, just like everyone else who's involved.

If Eddie doesn't return in ST5 - and I'm absolutely certain at this point that he will - then he'll get his own spin off. Most probably even both, because Eddie is THE money machine and what Netflix wants, in the end, is money.

Don't worry, dear. Eddie will be back 🖤

And as for the Quiet Place: everyone else involved in ST has other projects lined up, and David Harbour will be filming ST5 and Marvel's Thunderbolts at the same time, as a lovely anon pointed out yesterday, so that doesn't have anything to do with Joe's return to ST 🥰
