Gris
Gris is a platformer game developed by Spanish development team, Nomada Studio. The art was done by Conrad Roset and the music was composed by Berlinist.
The art for Gris is incredible. It is so unique. I haven't seen anything like this game before and the animation and prop design looks great. I love the color scheme and median they have used.

Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight is an adventure platformer game developed by team cherry. The art was done by Ari Gibson and the music was composed by Christopher Larkin.
youtube
I absolutely adore the art in hollow knight. I love the idea of basing the characters off of beetles, it gives a very unique atmosphere to the characters. The game would not give off the same energy without it. Personally, I love the use of simplistic characters as it adds to the character of the hollow knight. The way they layer their levels makes certain places feel infinitely large, and the places made to feel enclosed capture that perfectly.
youtube
Shovel Knight
Shovel knight is an adventure platformer developed by Yacht club games. The art was done by Wozniac and the music was done by Jake Kaufman.
youtube
The art for shovel knight is great. It seems to be heavily inspired by older, more likely SNES, games. The tile map is quite basic but it is used in a way that makes every couple of seconds feel completely different. This is mainly done with the layering and background art which are incredible. The tile map has to fit the main gameplay mechanic, being the shovel, leading to a very unique tile map.
youtube
Terraria
Terraria is a survival adventure platformer developed by Re-Logic. The art was created by Victor Moura, James Hayes and Jim Kjexrud and the music was composed by Scott Lloyd Shelly.
youtube
Terraria's art style is quite unique. I love everything about this game. The tile map is quite basic, ignoring how many tiles there would have to be because of ores and building blocks. The real art comes from the boss, mob and item design which is incredible to the point that you cannot see the pixels on certain things.
youtube
Limbo
Limbo is an adventure platformer developed by playdead. The art was created by Morten Christian Bramsen and Stine Sørensen and the music was created by Martin Stig Anderson.
youtube
The art style for Limbo is incredibly unique in that it is completely monochrome. I haven't played Limbo but from what I have seen of it, this monochrome look helps to convey the feeling of dark versus light. It does a good job with showing how each object is distinguishable despite there being no color palette. It is extremely hard to pull something like this off and they did it well.
youtube
Badland
Badland is an adventure platformer developed by Frogmind. The art was made by Juhanna Myllys and the music was composed by Joonas Turner.
The art for this game is very strange. Their use of layering creates a entire world behind your character. The first layer, the one that the character interacts with is a silhouette. And the art in the following layers are incredibly drawn. The art perfectly mirrors the strangeness of this game.

This game looks creepy yet fun. It seems to be some form of puzzle game along on plain throughout the game. I have played inside which are the same people who made this game.

Game Review:

For me this game doesn't look very interesting. But it did win game of the year so a lot of people must've really enjoyed it. The art style for the game is good and this is an aspect I liked about it.

Level Designing:
youtube
This game has a simple art style and character design. The movement is simple to understand but not as simple to master. Each level has different ways of completing it which I think is good because then you can beat the level depending on how good you are.

Having played this game I can say that I really enjoyed this game. The whole atmosphere just draws you in and the puzzles are really fun to figure out. The game is about 2 - 3 hours but that was enough to tell the full story of this dystopian world.

Hollow Knight
Publisher: Team Cherry
Designers: Ari Gibson and Willian Pellen
Programmers: William Pellen and David Kazi
Artist: Ari Gibson

A video on the development: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSAlVBFdC6k
Hollow Knight is a 2D platforming game with combat and enemies. I think the gameplay seems quite enjoyable and smooth. It doesn't seems like a game that would have many frame drops. I quite like the design of the game because it is a 2D pixel art game but it looks so real.
Shovel Knight
Director: Sean Velasco
Designers: Sean Velasco, Michael Herbster and Alec Faulkner
Programmers: David D'Angelo and Ian Flood
Artists: Morgan Guyer, Erin Pellon, Nick Wozniak and Sandy Gordon

A video on the development: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMikv4TFQ6A
Shovel Knight is alike Hollow Knight, it is a 2D platformer with combat and enemies. There are some things in this game that hollow knight doesn't have, such as using a shovel to dig things up to have a chance of finding something. I think the gameplay is quite calming, it doesn't seem too difficult. The design is pixelated but they make it look nice too look at by making the designs somewhat realistic with shadows and lighting.
Terraria
Developer: Re-Logic
Publisher: 505 Games
Producer: Whitney Spinks
Designers: Andrew Spinks, Whitney Spinks and Yorai Omer
Programmers: Yorai Omer, Andrew Spinks and Chris Bednarz

A video of gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bepQu0MFJ_A
A video of development: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENT2_yeBf0w
Terraria is a game like minecraft but it's 2D. You can chop down trees, fight enemies, go mining, build things, e.t.c. I think the gameplay is quite enjoyable and there are different modes for people who may wanna play in different ways. The design of the game is pixels same with most 2d games. The texturing of everything is nice to loo,k at. There are many pixels in each sprites which means it looks more realistic.
Limbo
Developer: Playdead
Publishers: Microsoft Game Studios and Playdead
Director: Arnt Jensen
Producers: Dino Patti and Mads Wibroe

Limbo is a puzzle-platform video game. It is a 2D side-scroller which incorporates a physics system that governs environmental objects and the player character. The gameplay looks like a horror game.

Could you suggest me some Danish rock songs?
OH BOY OH BOY CAN IYES I CANADMIRAL ACE ON THE CASE
Okay first of all, we have a ton of dark rock, some a bit heavy. I’d suggest starting with maybe DAD, but Carpark North are brilliant, all their songs are basically awesome, and there’s also Nephew. But Carpark North my dude, start there. Have some links;

what band would you like to see them collab with?
The thing with Michael's amazing and unique voice is... it's hard to find a voice to compliment it. Now, yes they've done collaborations before. Quite a bit actually. So far my favorite featured artists have been Stine Bramsen on Dagen Før and King Diamond on Room 24.
I feel like a collab with a female vocalist would sound better with Michael's own vocals. So maybe someone like Lzzy Hale of Hallstorm?
Reneé Phoenix of Fit for Rivals and Pink Fly would be interesting (her vocals are very rough sounding and I love it).
As for male vocalists.. a somewhat unheard voice of rock music right now is Radkey. I've been digging them quite a bit lately. I can see them asking Michael to do some vocals for one of their songs (as opposed to the other way around).

My past obsession with Alphabeat’s dance pop has cemented a lot of fun memories for me back from in the day. Though the band has been on hiatus since 2012, lead singer Stine Bramsen has been leading the solo charge back home in Denmark, even peaking in 2015 with a number one gold-selling album named Fiftyseven. Today, Stine Bramsen returns with her first pop song since its release. L.A.C.K. is not lacking at all when it comes to iridescent ravishing synths, soulful enthralling vocals, and an irresistible R&B groove. Tove Lo’s bombastic electro-pop meets LÉON’s smoky soulful pop on the vibey jam. Stine says of her single: “Sometimes you have to create a vacuum around yourself and the ones you love to simply shut out the hate, violence and inhumanity we see around the world every day. ‘L.A.C.K.’ is about how difficult it can be to find the right balance of being in this mad world with an aching heart while allowing yourself to be happy and present, right where you are.”  L.A.C.K. is out today via major retailers, here.
