When no input is made on the title screen of Super Mario 64 for an extended time, a series of short gameplay demos will play. The game contains an extremely short unused demo input sequence that is not assigned to any level, but if assigned to the Cool, Cool Mountain demo header, reveals why it was cut short.
Watching the demo shows Mario run up against a sign and then stop before the demo abruptly ends. This suggests that the programmer tasked to record the demo either wanted to read the sign (a famously finicky action in this game, as Mario can only read signs when he is in very particular states and facing angles), or jump over it, and failed to do the desired action. Mario's stopping seems to be a result of the programmer stopping all input in order to discard the demo and attempt to record it again.
Why this failed attempt was left in the game's data is unknown.

CORDINA DEFENDS IBF CROWN AS MATCHROOM RETURN TO THE CASINO DE MONTE CARLO ON NOVEMBER 4
Two thrilling World Title fights and two more championship bouts will light up Monte Carlo in a night of elite boxing on Saturday, November 4, live worldwide on DAZN (excluding - France and French Overseas Territories, Andorra and Monaco).   Welsh hero Joe Cordina will defend his IBF Super-Featherweight World Title against highly-rated American rival Edward Vazquez at the famous Casino de Monte Carlo.    Undefeated Cordina (16-0, 9 KOs) is widely regarded as one of the best British fighters today, a two-time champion of the world in just 16 fights, and returns to the ring following his breathtaking victory last April over Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov. And Cordina makes his way back to Monaco, where he overcame Mario Enrique Tinoco in November 2019.   The Tony Sims-trained champion, 31, will face a tough challenge in Vazquez (15-1, 3 KOs), who gets his first-ever World Title shot thanks to a four-fight winning streak. Giant Bomb is dead, and I care way less than I thought I would. Probably because 83% of the people who I ever cared about had already left or died, or were already relegated to reduced content roles. 
Honestly, though, the writing’s been on the wall for a bit. They haven’t had anything worthy of paying for premium in several years, and, even though they’ve had well over a year to figure out a plan for the COVID era, they maybe made it a month with their plans to have a series of streams daily. I actually managed to forget I followed them on Twitch at all, for about 4 months, because they only streamed the podcasts and the occasional former Harmonix employee (who was literally paid to make content with their games while employed at Giant Bomb, which was funny because he blocked me on Twitter for making a post, addressing no one, back in 2014, which was asking about the legitimacy of the leaked list of “games “””””journalists”””””” who had taken money from publishers for positive reviews, a list which included him and multiple then-coworkers. I didn’t follow him, he didn’t follow me. He was manually searching the keywords, because he was, and is, a prick.) solo Rock Band stream in the last 8 months or so. Even when Jeff would manage to do one of his 20 streams from home a year, it would be on his own channel. There was just no content. And they’re surprised their “pay for our unique premium content!” model failed. They always “feigned” anger at Dan for “making” them do the Mario Party Parties, and literally never promoted his and Drew’s Metal Gear series after the first game... but I bet that, when only those, UPF, and the ad-free versions of the podcasts were premium features, those two series were keeping them afloat. Well, that and the remaining goodwill they miraculously managed to hold onto for a few years after Ryan died.  Shit, I follow several people who are GB staff-adjacent, and... I can’t think of the last time they mentioned anything that happened on-site. Even the people who’ve been directly supporting them for over 10 years were out. 
But yeah, the site is super dead. They pretended in the announcements like they’re going to make a go of it still, but... you’ve got like 4 content people left, and the only one people give a shit about is Jeff. You just saw 3/4 of the side of the site that was still trying these past several months jump ship in a 3 month span. One of those was, by nearly any definition, a founding member. Of which you had already lost one, and are losing another from the main side. Jeff’s been way less active until the last week or two, probably because he heard they were leaving and was like “oops, should probably check on the ship that’s been sinking for years!” Then you have Jason “The Human Mumble” Oestricher, the charisma vacuum, whose legitimate public-facing reaction to first hearing that all but one of his GB predecessors were going to be gone. was, and I quote, “Hoo Boy.” Ben and Jan are the definition of “fine”. They would have been great, as they are today, as secondary members 8-10 years ago. But carry the site, they cannot. They’re down to, what, 5 named members now? It hasn’t been that dire since the beginning of 2009, before they hired Drew, when they hadn’t even started the P4 endurance run. You know, that surprise massive, internet-changing thing that essentially popularized the Let’s Play concept, loosening its definition and making it something that could be as personality-driven as game-driven, made simply to give them something to put on the website, beyond the rare review and, slightly later, quick look. This kinda illustrates the problem with modern Giant Bomb. When they were figuring shit out, flying by the seats of their pants, they came up with great shit, and they gave enough of a shit to make it happen. 0.000% chance they do a 10 hour Thanksgiving Kinect stream if the Kinect was new today. 0.000% chance the core members would have done an endurance run in the last 10 years if CT and Shenmue (which I haven’t watched) weren’t driven by the younger members. And you could see it in the fact that they never made a real, true mobile app. The number one thing that would have made them indispensable this past decade, an app to integrate premium features, the podcast, their video player, etc. all in one place in a mobile-friendly package, that could sync with the website... and they never even raised the idea publicly. I wonder how much of the innovation was the group think-tank of the first 5 years. Beyond Dan’s couple major contributions, I don’t think they added a single new type of content after 2012, which... still means the last 6.5 years lacked any semblance of innovation. I guess that’s a big part of why I fell off tremendously quickly after late 2014. There was just nothing new, and believe me, I was looking. I wanted reasons to stay watching. I supported them with my dollar. I believed in those brave early days. And I went back yesterday to watch the DP endurance run from VJ again. I still miss that rapport. And really, that hurt, too. Vinny moving back east, less than a year after Ryan passed... short term, it was fine. You had more people than ever to cover the gaps. But the spark was gone. The chemistry made the site. When I think of Giant Bomb, I still think of Jeff, Vinny, and Ryan, first and foremost. Those early podcasts, the NintenDownloads, the crazy tangents that everyone could seamlessly follow up on(well, except Brad, because he essentially slept through most of the podcasts, unless he was talking about the thing he did that week), the weird high-concept GOTY stuff... it wasn’t perfect, but you were entertained. You laughed. You were engaged. It never felt like you were watching them working, even though you could see the work they put in. It felt like, when they released something, you were experiencing a group of legitimate friends doing what they wanted to do anyways.(And boy have I seen enough groups do everything they can to NOT be enjoying doing that, and break up as a result due to hating the jobs that they chose to do). 
Part of me would love to make it as simple as “Ryan died, and so did the original spirit”, and... to a degree, it’s true. If you go back to any retrospective they’ve done about the founding of the site, or the podcast they recorded after Ryan passed, you can’t help but recognize that Giant Bomb never happens if these core members don’t all quit their jobs, led by Ryan,  because they respect their boss/manager, Jeff, and know he’s doing the right things(for them, for the reader/viewer, etc.) ahead of what GameSpot management wants him to do. Jeff could have been left in the wilderness, trying find a spot elsewhere, with the rumor going around between executives that Jeff wasn’t going to help them promote anything, essentially killing their revenue. He would have been done in terms of getting employed by a major site. But Ryan first, and soon after, Vinny and Brad, gave up their jobs to make this fledgling little project go. As much as the ERs brought me in and gave the impression that Jeff and Vinny were the long-standing duo, no, it was Ryan who was Jeff’s partner in crime. And, 8 years later, I can comfortably say... Giant Bomb never recovered from losing him. 
But it was so much more. Everything that set them apart slowly went away,  in time. I don’t think they’ve posted reviews for games in consecutive MONTHS since 2017; 2018 at the latest. They have done one Endurance Run in 9 years. They have not had a meaningful live event in 6 years. Unprofessional Fridays were more formulaic and lesser in volume and frequency after the major players started moving east. The lack of coordination between coasts killed the camaraderie, to the point that I think one of the last 5 true gameplay crossovers was their series of 2016-2017 PUBG shitfests. I remember when Vinny starting GBEast was supposed to be the start of a new era of content, and... it was, but not in a positive way, like it sounded. When half of each side seemed to constantly have no interest in making anything, nothing got made. But I guess that’s what happens when your second in command in one of your headquarters is just a former marketing grunt with an attitude problem, and the guy with the biggest ego on the team is the one who refuses to move to join either side, and just pushes out the most self-important drivel as a header to what were literally just copy-pasted articles from other sites every week while sitting at his desk, dreaming of the days Gawker would pay him to plagiarize political drivel instead, because that’s what really gets the soulless clicks. One of your founding members becomes depressed due to losing his two closest work friends, one for real, one to a 3000 mile separation, within a year, while the other one who is left virtually stopped playing anything but DOTA 2 for 2 years. Suddenly your most prominent personalities are the 2 new guys(one the aforementioned charisma vacuum, the other a walking mark) and your previously-mostly-off-camera producer who is best known to the wider Internet for... blinking. So, yeah, lifeless. And NOW, all you’ve got is old melancholy dad, charisma vacuum dad, and the two ADHD kids whose defining trait is that they choose to exclusively refer to their partners as “my partner” in voices that make it sound like they are embarrassed to have partners, while also talking more about what their partners are doing than what they do.  It’s confounding.
But yeah, TL:DR: RIP zombie Giant Bomb. Glad you’re finally getting taken behind the shed. It took 3 years too long, minimum.

Looking back at the past year, Coca-Cola heavily benefited from the Boston Red Sox’ victory in the World Series and Fortnite launched a partnership with the NFL. Esports and integrated advertisements are powerful new elements of brand-driven activations, but a central change in sports digital marketing will be the online shift from impressions to interactions. According to Oh No! Tech, more brands are adopting incentive-based care models that include a basic compensation package for the team or league combined with different levels of rewards regarding the success of online performance metrics. Since the beginning of 2017, the top five American sports (MLB, MLS, NBA, NFL, NHL) and NASCAR have deployed more than 6.3 million social jobs, resulting in 16.7 billion social media entries. As sports leagues slowly adopt gambling, the need to create online interaction will move to the forefront of all sports marketing deals.
NBCSports Washington’s alternate broadcasts of the Wizards could be the future of sports betting on TV. According to the Washington Post, NBCSports Washington Plus aired an augmented broadcast of the game against the Milwaukee Bucks last Friday featuring real-time statistics, sports betting information, and a “Predict the Game” contest prompting viewers to project the results of on-court action for the chance to win $500. The “Predict the Game” contest featured roughly 30 questions — such as “Will Trevor Ariza score 10-plus points in the first half?” – that appeared on the screen throughout the game. Fans submitted predictions on NBCSports Washington’s site and the winner(s) were announced during postgame coverage. NBCSports Washington’s alternate broadcast is free during its eight Wizards games this season, and the alternate broadcasts are the first step towards in-game prop betting via mobile devices, the most popular form of gambling in Europe. Soon, fans will be directly engaging with sports games and be able to wager real money on whether Alex Ovechkin will score on a power play or Bradley Beal will make a three-pointer during a specific possession.
The NBA, Yahoo, and Turner rethink the sports studio show with mobile-friendly “The Bounce.” According to Sports Techie, “The Bounce,” debuting January 21, will air for three hours during five nights of the week and feature expert analysis, highlights from live games, and personality-driven content centered on current games. Similar to NBA TV’s “Gametime,” “The Bounce” will star talking heads around a studio set; however the new show will be the first sports program to be digital-only, though Yahoo’s NBA show will soon be joined by an MLB counterpart from DAZN. Yahoo will also offer a live scoreboard, social media integrations, and behind-the-scenes footage on the studio show which will be produced out of Turner’s Atlanta studios. In contrast to Yahoo’s new live-stream of every in-market NFL game, “The Bounce” will act as a portal directing more viewers to ongoing games. As it is the first of its kind, the studio show on-the-go will likely change over time although the goal will remain the same: meet fans where they are to deliver a next-generation experience.

As a part of a Royals Associates fundraiser, Mario Kart was played on the Jumbotron at Kauffman Stadium. According to CBS Sports, a local news helicopter from Kansas City’s KCTV5 was taking an aerial shot at Kauffman stadium when they noticed Mario Kart being played inside the empty stadium. As the video of the impressive Mario Kart screen started to go viral, the Royals’ charity Twitter account hinted that there may be more opportunities to game at Kauffman in the near future as the Jumbotron brand CrownVision may make it an auction item in 2019. Some of the baseball team’s players even took notice, as second baseman Whit Merrifield claimed “dibs on Yoshi,” a character in the game. This is a great example of how to bring on-field sports together with charity and video games, as many teams are looking to esports to help not only bring in market value, but serve as a means to give back to their communities.
18-time Grand Slam champion and member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Chris Evert takes over chair of the U.S. Tennis Association's charitable arm. Evert partnered with the USTA Foundation in 2016 to set up the Jimmy Evert Fund, a scholarship program in honor of her late father. According to Fox Sports, she takes over the position from James Blake, formerly one of the world’s top-ranked players. The USTA foundation supports National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) which works with more than 350 nonprofit youth development organizations to provide free or low-cost tennis and education programming to more than 200,000 under-resourced youth. Additionally, the Foundation provides The Donald Lawson Tisdel College Scholarship Fund, a $10,000 fund given to 20-25 exemplary high schoolers who have participated with a tennis program to put towards their higher education. With Evert in charge, tennis philanthropists can expect more initiatives based around female under-sourced youth utilizing tennis as a catalyst for change.
Medical organization SAFE MMA achieves charity status in the U.K. According to LawInSport, SAFE MMA was recognized as a charity by The Charity Commission in the United Kingdom in late December. Founded in 2012, the project was born for the benefit of protecting the health and safety of athletes taking part in MMA competitions through third-party medical screening and record-keeping services available to the public. Additionally, SAFE MMA provides independent medical advice and information to athletes to help respond to the lack of regulation or medical standards for MMA in the U.K. Founders who helped enable the establishment of the first unified standard for MMA in the U.K. include sports medicine professional Dr. Jack Kreindler, world-renowned referee Marc Goddard, veteran competitor Rosi Sexton, and independent representatives from the MMA community. With MMA growing in popularity thanks to OTT services like DAZN, the need to protect and regulate competitors is vital in a sport that can seem barbaric to some.
The charity golf series Gary Player Invitational is back in Abu Dhabi. Taking place at the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, this year’s event saw more than 72 golf pros, celebrities, and business leaders join tournament host and Grand Slam Champion Gary Player on January 13. According to TimeOut, the event also plays homage to the United Arab Emirates' Year of Tolerance, which includes a UAE Tolerance Gala and an Inclusivity Roundtable addressed by Player. Marlins manager Don Mattingly makes a difference with “Find A Way” charity event. The Find A Way event featured Mattingly, a former major league baseball player and current manager, MLB television analyst Harold Reynolds, and comedian Joe Piscopo with all event proceeds benefiting the underserved youth of Evansville, Indiana. This has become a major fundraiser for Mattingly’s charities that support youth athletics. According to the Courier Press, Donnie Baseball has another event on January 20, called the "Night of Memories," that will showcase stars from both sides of the Cardinals and Cubs rivalry to fundraise for the Tri-State Hot Stove League. Since 1993, the event has raised over $1.5 million that has been distributed to youth organizations, contributed to local athletic programs, and helped fund scholarships. Starting in 1988 with Make-A-Wish, Mattingly continues to give back to the less privileged in the communities where he lives – a useful note for the Marlins, who can use a helping hand getting any kind of media attention.

How a digital publisher monetized 8X more in one month with WordPress scaling strategies
30-second summary:
The project in a nutshell: A magazine-type website, monetizing programmatic ads.
Agency work scope: Build the platform from scratch, utilizing WordPress multisite functionality and RTK.io infrastructure plus numerous ad operation tools, migrate it to new hosting, and secure project scale.

The Brand: Digital Publisher in Need of scaling
The project is a digital publishing platform, based on WordPress, utilizing the RTK.io  programmatic infrastructure and ad operations solution (Taboola and Outbrain). The website features authentic content оn popular topics like wellness, technologies, travel, sports, and entertainment. All articles are original and created by the media’s team of writers.  
Since launching in April 2019, the website’s monthly traffic has exceeded 8 Million users per month. Presently the website ranks globally around 23,000 in Alexa. 
How did the project start?
The client has been working with DevriX on a WordPress development retainer plan since July 2018. Initially, the website had an imperfect RTK implementation that dynamically assigned the ad unit slots according to some JavaScript logic. DevriX was hired to support and improve that old custom platform.  
But the owners were not satisfied with the business results – the monetization did not work as expected. While working on the project DevriX got more closely acquainted with the client’s goals and business operations. Both parties became aware of a clear growth opportunity. 
At that time DevriX was endorsed by RTK for building a super-fast and lightweight digital publishing platform for another major media. Soon after that, the client requested to upgrade their site with a similar solution. So at the beginning of March 2019, we started to build the whole platform from scratch, utilizing the Multisite WordPress feature.  
The challenge
Rebuild the whole platform  
When you run a digital publishing platform of this size, literally every second matter to a huge extent. The publishers’ business is very competitive and the margins are small. Every second the site is down thousands of dollars are lost and for every second delay in its performance, the loss is even bigger.  
Here is why when re-building this project, the client needed: 
A stable system to allow scaling traffic to several million user sessions per month 
Optimal integration of all programmatic platforms 
A reliable hosting solution and 24/7 maintenance to never allow downtime 
A seamless UX experience to engage and monetize the traffic
The solution
New digital publishing platform 
Just within one month, in April 2019, DevriX launched the new version of the WordPress website, utilizing the RTK.io technology, together with several other third-party native ad integrations. We created a faster and more stable platform, with quality code and technical solutions that enhance performance and monetize higher traffic.   
Here is how DevriX delivered the project to the above requirements: 
1. Build a multisite WordPress platform
We created a multisite network, allowing for the platform – together with all its programmatic implementations – to be multiplied into several digital publishing websites. The network is easily managed by a super admin and its potential growth is practically unlimited.  
Here is our one-month roadmap agreement with the client with a step-by-step description of the work done:

2. Migrate the website to an upgraded hosting account 
To ensure the success of the project, DevriX partnered with Pagely to migrate the newly developed system to an advanced hosting with an upgraded plan that is a must to ensure scalability. 
We tested several different combinations and recommended the following hosting set-up: dedicated database (M4) on top of VPS-2 plus a larger dedicated database.   
3. Improve the ways the WordPress website was monetized 
DevriX also worked on improving the user experience of the new platform. Monetization was improved by producing optimized layouts for ad serving and an infinite scroll for all archive pages. All development was done with a focus on yield management and ad stack governance on behalf of the business owners. 
Success indicators
A solution that boosts monetization 
The technical solution described above allowed for the scaling of the project in the months to follow, scaling up to 187 million page views monthly and increasing its monetization more than eight times.
Fast and stable performance 
The new build ensured:
Increased speed: Currently, the site’s speed, by Google PageSpeed tool, is 91/100 for desktop. 
Ultimate stability for high traffic: the site’s traffic back in March 2019 before the rebuild was about 1.4 million user sessions while for the second half of 2019 it was scaled up to eight-plus million monthly. 
User engagement and popularity
Improved UX solutions to engage users: The platform has an impressively low bounce rate of 7-8%, with an industry average of 15%.
Growing popularity: Currently, the platform ranks about 23,000 at Alexa, on a global scale 
That proves the excellent user engagement and content satisfaction, which eventually leads to higher ROI. 
Monetization
Ad-serving optimization is a big contributor to the project. The main success of this project was achieving the initial goal to increase monetization. Within several months the platform’s monetization grew up 8.5 times. 
Wrapping up
This project is a very simple example of how quality development may dramatically improve website performance and monetization. Before and after the build the client used the same combination of a content management system – WordPress – and the RTK programmatic platform. But the business results differ almost ten times. 
Last but not least, the digital publishing platform was created in only four weeks. That would not have been possible without the prior experience of both parties with the technologies and without working in a close partnership within a long-term WordPress development retainer.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and Juan Francisco Estrada will meet in a rematch for the WBC and Ring magazine Super-Flyweight titles and WBA and IBF Super-Bantamweight World Champions Daniel Roman and TJ Doheny clash in a unification battle on a blockbuster night of action at The Forum, Los Angeles on Friday April 26, live on DAZN in the US and Sky Sports in the UK.   Rungvisai (47-4-1 41KOs) and Estrada (38-3 26KOs) clashed at the LA venue in February 2018 and delivered a memorable all-action affair that saw Rungvisai defeat Estrada by Majority Decision to retain his WBC Super-Flyweight title.   Pound for pound Thai star Rungvisai, who recently penned a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing USA, successfully defended his title for the third time in October on home turf against Iran Diaz, while Mexican ace Estrada enters the bout on the back of wins over Felipe Orucata at The Forum in September and Victor Mendez in Carson, California in December.
“I am extremely excited and honored to be back fighting in the US again,” said Rungvisai. “Estrada is a great fighter, and we had an amazing fight last year. Our round 12 was awarded Round of the Year by WBC. That is an evidence of how entertaining the previous fight was.    “I believe that this fight on April 26 will be even more entertaining. I am training extremely hard in Thailand. And I am confident I will be the winner on April 26th.   “Thank you to Matchroom Boxing and DAZN for this amazing opportunity, it's such a great honor to be fighting for them. I also would like to thank WBC, NKL Team, and 360 Promotions for making this possible. I can't wait to give a great fight to all the fans on April 26th!”   Roman (26-2-1 10KOs) and Doheny (21-0 15KOs) clash in a unification bout that is certain to entertain. Roman was one of the standout fighters of 2018, winning a wide points decision in the first defense of his WBA crown in Japan over Ryo Matsumoto in February and followed that with another authoritative points triumph over Moises Flores in Frisco, Dallas in June.   The LA man then punctuated his year’s work by stopping Brit challenger Gavin McDonnell in the tenth round of their clash on the first American boxing bill live on DAZN in October, and now looks to make a flying start to 2019 against IBF king Doheny.   Doheny’s path has echoes of his opponents as like Roman, the Australian-based Irishman travelled to Japan to land his first World title when he took the strap from Ryosuke Iwasa in Tokyo in August.
The unbeaten 32 year old signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing USA in January and swiftly made his first defense in New York against Ryohei Takahashi, stopping the Japanese in the 11th round at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, with Roman watching in the crowd.   “This is the biggest and most important fight of my career," Roman said. “I haven't been shy about wanting to unifying the division. This is the fight that I've been asking for since I became a World Champion. I need to deliver on my goal of becoming the best and a win against another World Champion puts me in that conversation.   “It will be a new experience for me because I'm not fighting a challenger, I'm fighting another belt holder. It's exciting in a lot of ways. I'll be at my best because I'm planning to add another title on April 26.
“It feels pretty damn good to fight in front of my hometown fans. My last five fights have been away from home, but I don't feel any added pressure in this homecoming of sorts. I know I have a job to do. Nothing is easy at this point. It's going to be a heck of a fight. Two World Champions fighting for control of the division. What more could you want?”   “Danny is one of those rare boxers that is motivated and committed to fighting the very best," said Ken Thompson, President, Thompson Boxing Promotions. “He understands the risks that he is taking, but that's what drives him. "We met in the ring after the fight in New York, and there was a lot of respect for each other. That’s the way it should be. We’re two World class fighters, two World Champions in the division. A fight like this doesn’t need any false hype, I think that when you’ve got two World class fighters like this that’s enough of a selling point for a high-calibre fight like this.
"Danny’s a great fighter, he adds a lot of pressure, he’s a great puncher, great punch selection, he’s got it all really.  A stacked card in support of the huge World title double-header is led by Jessie Vargas’ move to 154lbs. The Las Vegas-based LA man (28-2-2 10KOs) headlined the aforementioned Chicago show in an entertaining clash with Thomas Dulorme, a draw the outcome after 12 pulsating rounds for the WBC Silver Welterweight title, where a last round knockdown cost Vargas the win.   The 29 year old will start the journey on becoming a three-weight World Champion on April 26 and will have a new but familiar face in his corner with the bout marking his first fight under hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach.   Roach will be a busy man on the night, with former Super-Bantamweight World Champion Scott Quigg returning to action. The English star (35-2-2 26KOs) returned to winning ways in Boston in October with a spiteful second round stoppage of Mario Briones, and will be on familiar ground in LA where he trains with Roach and shared a bruising fast-paced battle with WBO Featherweight ruler Oscar Valdez last March.   Unbeaten Super-Middleweight talent Anthony Sims Jr is set for a breakout year and will fight for his first title on the bill. Sims (17-0 16 KOs), who is in action in Peterborough, England on Saturday night live on DAZN and Sky Sports, clocked three stoppage wins in the second half of 2018, and will look to convert that momentum in style in first the UK and then in LA.   Shakhram Giyasov (7-0 6KOs) and Diego Pacheco (2-0 1KO) landed wins in Tijuana, Mexico this weekend and will fight on the bill, while Eddie Hearn’s latest addition to his blossoming stable of young USA talents, Houston’s Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams, will make his pro debut on the card.   “I’m proud to announce this huge card for our first show in LA,” said promoter Eddie Hearn. “Rungvisai vs. Estrada was one of the fights of the year in 2018 and fans can expect another war on April 26 for the WBC and Ring Magazine World titles.    “LA’s Danny Roman attempts to unify the division against IBF champ TJ Doheny and two division World Champion Jessie Vargas returns under his new trainer Freddie Roach as he begins his quest to win World titles in three different weight classes.    “Former World champ Scott Quigg returns to LA after his war with Oscar Valdez and unbeaten Super Middleweight star Anthony Sims Jr challenges for his first title. This is one of the cards of 2019 to date and fight fans can expect a wonderful show at the Forum and live on DAZN and Sky Sports.”
