Top 5 of my favourit Makeup products that won’t leave a big dent in your Portmonnait
Hey flowers! I currently work in a 3 Year long apprenticeship in a boutique. I absolutely love makeup and fashion, problem is, that I am living on a budget. I can’t really go out in a rainbow cut crease, so I have to rely on a more natural looks. I can’t really spent my money for fancy brands or pricy makeup. Mostly I rely on drugstore brands like Essence or Catrice. Which in most time are pretty much hit or miss. So here I have Top 5 favourits that I use basically everyday. (Also most of them are Essence, Catrice and Maybelline) Also I was so tempted to write by falloutboy just because of the huge freaking title)
1. Essence, Colour Boost Liquide Lipstick, in the colour mad about matte
I don’t really know the price. Since I have it for a long time. But this little thing is my absolute favourit. This colour looks absolutely gorgous. The liquid lipstick looks a little more brownish red on my brown skin. But on my friends skin it looks a little reddish. It goes more into the Bordeaux colour spectrum. I have this lipstick in all my bags and let me tell you. This f*cker stays on your lips from morning 8am till 5pm in the evening. I had to only apply it once or twice throughout the day. It’s very lightweight.

2. Maybelline, Super Stay Matte Ink
This Lipstick also has its perk of staying on your lips very long. Also you can snog the hell out of your partner without their face being full with lipstick. The one con about this lipstick is, that it is very dry on your lips and you additionally have to but on lip balm over it. Also it gets a little messy removing it with your wipe.

3. The essence Eyeshadow in the colour shameless
I wanted to try out a good pinkish eyeshadow that was pigment. Let me tell you this little thing is freaking pigmented. I would say it is around 4 to 5 bucks depending on where you live.

4. Catrice Cosmetics The Spicy Rust Collection Shadow Palette
Before I had the time to explore more eyeshadow looks and colours I would always have three looks. Rose tones for a romantic look. Nude tones for a natural look. And rust tones for a more glamorous look. I used the Spicy Rust a lot for my rose-coloured eyeshadow looks. It’s very buildable and pigmented.

5. Essence, Volume Stylist Lash Extension Mascara
I really enjoy this on. I have pretty short lashes. But this mascara works some magic on my lashes it’s also around 3 to 4 bucks. I don’t really have to say a lot about it since this is seriously, next to the butterfly mascara from loreal, the only mascara I have that I really enjoy.

Buena, bonita...¿y barata?
A la hora de comprar productos low cost, Maybelline NY suele ser una de las marcas que más alegrías suele darme. Ya no solo por su precio sino por calidad por tan poco.
Esta vez, me he comprado la nueva base de maquillaje Super Stay 24 horas y os cuento mis impresiones después de varios días. Buenas y malas.
¿Qué promete SuperStay 24h?
Promete un maquillaje de larga duración (tanto como 24 horas pero obviamente no la he llevado tanto tiempo como para demostrar si es cierto o no).
Promete cobertura alta, capaz de ocultar ojeras, imperfecciones y arruguitas.
Estos dos puntos los cumple a la perfección: cubre mucho y dura muchas horas. Lo cual es bueno, ya que hablamos de maquillaje low cost y sabemos como son las bases de cubrientes en otras marcas... (no quiero mencionar ninguna, ejem)
Experiencia
El primer día me eché demasiada cantidad y el resultado fue un poco de efecto máscara por tener una textura muy densa. Por ende, si no queréis que quede el tan temido efecto “cakey”, es decir, como si fueras un “bizcochito”
Con aplicar poca cantidad, el resultado es mucho mejor. Tenedlo en cuenta.
El producto
Un punto muy a favor que actualmente es lo que más se tiene en cuenta con la reivindicación de las pieles más oscuras que no se sienten representadas por las grandes marcas de maquillaje, es el tema de los tonos en las bases de maquillaje. Cabe decir que Maybelline NY ha puesto su granito de arena en esto y como consecuencia tiene bastantes tonos de piel en los que elegir, pero mi experiencia es que elijáis uno más claro del que pensáis en un principio. Primero porque venimos del verano y las pieles empiezan a clarearse y por otro porque a mi me ha pasado que el que parecía mi tono, queda un pelín más oscuro en la piel. Ya sabéis que el maquillaje, y sobretodo las bases de maquillaje, tienden a la oxidación, es decir volverse un tono más amarillento o anaranjado depende del subtono que éste contenga.
Por lo demás, es una base de maquillaje que por 12 euros, me parece bastante buena.

I can go out the whole day and my foundation is still intact! Yesterday I chatted with a couple of friends about the idea that certain colours or styles 'suit' us and the ability 'to carry it off'. I don't think there is such a thing or what it is, is unnecessary standards imposed by the beauty industry. I don't have the greatest skin health in the world, given I lived in a very polluted place and am prone to stress which shows up on my skin. But colour, texture and design soothe my mood and I use them to balance my emotional well-being. It looks like I'm a little out of practice with my #lipart.
