Nanaho Nanahoshi

List of her slays because she’s cool and evil and I am her only fan When she was like six, she convinced the pro-tag (Yuga Ohdo) that her ladybug looking hat was a real ladybug that was trying to eat her. This made Yuga freeze up and have a mini panic attack whenever ladybugs come by him. During the show, Yuga see’s Nanaho again after that incident, and then threatens to destroy the entire building that are in. This building is a government building that keeps the city running btw. If a girl can get you to almost cause terrorism she’s a girlboss. Nanaho brainwashed one of the main friend characters (Swirly) into a zombie like state that just made it seem like he had rabies. Nanaho brings back the most chaotic and arguably cutthroat villain in Sevens (Swirly) for the lols. It’s implied that she heard how chaotic he was and thought “oh that seems like a cool guy! I should cure him of his current memory loss to make the town go into anarchy FOR THE LOLS” She is the technically the reason Yugioh Go Rush exists. Nanaho comes from the “evil” part of her ninja family. This gets her sick ninja swag and a little army. (with other bug hats btw) This also lets her stay at the “ninja insect village”, which is a bug amusement park. She commits terrorism.

The main reason for this blog (Well one of them)

He is my son and I will make adorable hcs for him

But

My god was his whole arc was unnecessary

Evil Swirly: a bonus

More Nanaho: a boon

He is just not a good villain, I for the life of my cannot understand what he was after. If he had become evil after his siblings betrayed him then maybe he trying to cause chaos or destroy dueling in general would have made sense, but he was evil. Being evil for the sake of being evil is all well and good, but that really didn’t feel like it fit him either, the whole time he was a villain it felt like he wanted something, but I can’t figure out what it was.

He had a loving family, so it shouldn’t be betrayal as a motive because he went for the forbidden card first

He wasn’t trying to get rid of rush dueling because he didn’t want Yuga’s deletion program

He stepped over to the good side when Otes tried to destroy dueling (Though that might have been due to the kidnapping)

I started to like him after we got to see him as a baby

Look at that face how can you hate him :(

But as a villain he is so flat and his arc didn’t really do anything. I know the whole thing was he got corrupted and power hunger after being exposed to underground duels because trauma, but he just felt so unnecessary in the grand scheme.

(Also why did he have a following??? What did Nanaho gain from him being around?)

Otes could have just stopped managing the flow of formats

(Side note why call them formats when they weren’t, all people did was change either areas or costumes, that’s not a new format and I wanted to rip my hair out during that entire thing)

There was literally no need for him to be a villain, I love him as a character when he stops being the villain but my god is it hard to watch him

Well it got easier as he got angsty about Luke, but that’s a topic for another post….

Beware I am not hating on Sevens or Yuga, the characters are kids so they can be irrational, I just feel we should be able to call out the irrationality of it all…and point out how like a lot of other ygo issues this could have probably been solved if a responsible adult to the very mentally unstable child to therapy (don’t put children in charge of global conglomerates, just because their ages can add up to an adults doesn’t mean they are responsible enough to run a company)

Okay random thought but

Couldn't the sevens characters use this to find Yuga after Yuga vs Otes?

They could've just asked Yuga's mom what Yuga had for breakfast and used to device

And even if he was presumed dead, they could still have used this to locate his dead body in that case

Okay I could excuse Luke for not knowing about this device, but Romin, Gakuto, Tiger and Swirly all knew.

Yuga²

Summery thing- Yuga couldn't stop his thoughts from going back to Swirly, he disappeared after their duel when no one was looking, the only thing left behind was the monster reborn cards. Where could the other boy have gone?

Side note- This is the first time I'm writing in a super long while, so sorry about any incorrect punctuation, grammar, or odd phrasing of stuff. Also I started writing this before episode 81 came out so the information about the monster reborn cards are incorrect. Also also in case there is any confusion, this takes place after what I'd image is Goha Yuga's final duel agents Yuga.

Yuga couldn't stop his thoughts from going back to Swirly, he disappeared after their duel when no one was looking, the only thing left behind was the monster reborn cards, they destroyed the cards and managed to get everyone's memories back. But Swirly took a lot of damage from the battle, and no one can still find him afterwards. So he probably isn’t in good shape because of it.

But then Yuga was swiftly taken out of his thoughts by a knock at the door.

He sent Kaizo to the store awhile ago, albeit with lots of complaints from the drone about him not being 'waterproof enough' for the weather. so he must finally be back, so Yuga got up and went to answer the door "Geez kaizo it took you long enough to-" the rest of the boy's sentience tapered off as he opened the door.

Well speak of the devil and he shall appear Yuga thought to himself as he saw none other than Swirly on the other side of the door.

He didn't look to be in good shape, Swirly was soaked from the rain and looked extremely pale and tired, he also had that goha helmet drone tightly grasped against himself.

Swirly made eye contact with yuga before hastily looking at the ground

"I don't know where else to go." He mumbled, before trying to shove the Goha drone into Yuga arms. Yuga hastily took the drone in his arms.

"Doll broke and I don't know how to fix him, and I can't go back to Goha and-" Swirly stopped as he staggered forward a bit.

"Hey are you okay," Yuga managed to ask before the other boy staggered again and started to Fall. Yuga managed to catch him before he hit the ground. Making sure he had a good grasp on Swirly, Yuga placed Doll down as gently as he could on the floor before dragging Swirl over to the coffee table.

Yuga didn't really have anywhere to lay down in his lab, but considering how many times Luke has passed out on said table it couldn’t be that uncomfortable to lay on. So Yuga grabbed a spare towel he had around and laid it out on the table before hauling Swirly up onto it.

Then went to briefly check him over for any injuries, everything looked fine as far as the boy could tell, he probably passed out from exhaustion, he really didn't look good when he was at the door.

Taking a step and staring at Swirly, Yuga wondered if he should call the others about this. last he checked the other Goha siblings were really worried about him and doing everything they could to find him after their duel, and Luke was really concerned about him too.

But on the other hand, going to them is something Swirly really needs to do on his own. And if Yuga calls everyone over it might cause swirly to lash out at everyone again.

So he just decides to wait for Swirly to wake up and try to talk to him then. In the meantime though he is going to see what's going on with Doll.

Just As he goes to pick the drone back up again Kaizo flys in.

"I'm back from the store- oh my god WHAT IS HE DOING HERE!" the green drone shrieks out, almost dropping the grocery bag he was carrying and pointing at Swirly.

Kaizo then turns back to Yuga, and sees him holding Doll."WHAT IS THAT THING DOING HERE!"

"Kaizo can you please calm down for a second."

"Oh no this is the end, all my wonderful memories of me and Romin chan are going to disappear, I'll become nothing but a mindless drone, a husk of my former self." the drone drawls on, position his free hand over his head in a 'woah is me' pose.

"The memory wipe doesn't even work on robots, plus we already destroyed all the monster reborn cards. Plus plus neither of them are conscious at the moment so they can't really do anything anyway." Yuga said back while taking the grocery bag from Kaizo before he started swinging it around again.

When Yuga said that Kaizo finally took a better look at the Goha sibling, and realized that he was in fact out like a light on the coffee table. And took a deep sigh out.

"Still can't trust that thing '' Kaizo speaks up again while pointing back at Doll in Yuga's hands "Did you see how fast he switched sides from Yuo to Swirly! You just can't trust a drone like that."

Yuga feels like he should remind kaizo of the whole Goha 66 ordeal, but degresses figuring it probably wouldn't help the situation.

"What are they even doing here though!" Kaizo continues "everyone at Goha Is look for them and so how'd they magically wind up here."

"Something is apparently wrong with Doll and Swirly came here to get me to fix'em, but he kinda just passed out when he got here, so that's why he's on the table." Yuga explained nonchalantly while taking Doll and the grocery bag back to his work table.

"You're seriously just going to fix him, no questions asked?!"

"I always wanted to know how these things were made so it's kinda a win win here either way."

Kaizo let out a defeated sigh when hearing that. Given the passed out Goha sibling the side eyes, he grabbed the broom from the corner of the room and brandished it like a weapon. "I got my eyes on you." he grumbled.

Yuga found the problem with Doll quite easily, he just had a blown fuse, it was a pretty easy fix. But he just really wanted to know what makes these drones tick, sssooo he's putting the fixing part aside for now and doing some investigating. He also put Kaizo in sleep mode a while ago because all of his nervous buzzing around was starting to get on his nerves real fast.

Everything in Doll was so masterfully put together Yuga couldn't help but marvel at it. Doll had so many functions packed into a super efficient router system, it gave him so many ideas for new roads!

After tinkering some more Yuga figured he saw all there is to see with Doll and finally decided to fix him now. He took out the broken fuse and popped in the new one.

"Huhuhu."

"Ahhhhh!" Doll startled Yuga at how fast he turned back on, before he could think Yuga unconsciously grabbed the wrench beside him and smacked Doll with it, breaking the fuse again in the process.

"Woops." The boy sighed to himself. Well good thing I have extra fuses, he thought to himself while he puts the wrench on the other side of the work table to make sure he doesn't grab it again.

Just when Yuga was about to sit back down he heard moving, he turned his attention towards Swirly and noticed him trying to prop himself up.

The commotion must have woken him up.

"How are you feeling?" Yuga called over sliding his chair closer to where Swirly was

He seemed to startle the other boy when he spoke up, almost making him lose his balance and fall but he quickly corrected himself. He then turned to face Yuga, his expression tightly on guard as he spoke up after a moment of silence.

"Where is this." Swirly spoke curtly.

"My lab, remember you came here to get Doll fixed?" Yuga questioned back a little worried that the other boy was having a hard time remembering stuff.

Instead of answering, Swirly rubbed his forehead like he was trying to get rid of a headache.

Yuga frowned when the Goha sibling didn't respond, he then scooted back to his work desk and rummaged through the grocery bag from earlier before finding what he was looking for.

"Here, have a Snickers." Yuga said as he threw the chocolate bar at the other boy. Swirly fumbled a bit but still managed to catch the bar in his hands.

"Why are you giving this to me?"

"Because you're not you when you're hungry?"

Swirly gave him a skeptical look at that, inspecting the bar in his hands but making no move to eat it.

"You really don't look good, I just think maybe eating something will make you feel better." Swirly grumbled something that sounded like a ‘I’m fine’, but he still took off his mask and took an aggressive bite out of the chocolate bar anyways. “Anyways, are you done fixing Doll yet.” “Um, He might still need a little while, '' Yuga said, taking a look at the fuse he totally didn’t just break. “But you probably should have just taken him to Goha, they probably know how to fix him better than I can.” “I can’t go back there, everyone is looking for me. And he wasn’t even made there. I doubt they know how to fix him.” Swirly bluntly put. “I mean everyone looking for you is a pretty good reason to go there, your siblings are really worried about you.” Swirly rolled his eyes “I’m Not Seeing Them.” He said it in a way that made it clear that he wasn’t even going to entertain the conversation topic. Okay this isn’t going anywhere Yuga thought to himself, let's try to change it. “Well then where was Doll made, another branch or something?”

“At the space station on the moon, all the more advanced Goha drones are made there.” Yuga could feel his excitement rise at the mention of the space station. He heard about some stuff being made from there off handley from the other siblings, but he didn’t think stuff as expertly made as Doll. If he had some way of getting there and doing some research he could make so many new and advanced roads! And get to see the Rush duel robot up close! Yuga then took another glance at Swiry and an Idea hatched. “We should go to the station then!” Yuga said, the excitement in his voice being barely contained. The other boy looked taken aback by Yuga's sudden enthusiasm, but put back up his guarded expression and folded his arms before speaking up. “How would we even get into space, and if we could, why would I take you?” “We could just borrow the spaceship at Goha, it’s on the roof so it can’t be that hard to get into.” Yuga simply put, before grabbing his phone out of his pocket and scrolling through it before he found what he was looking for on it. “And you should take me because I’m fixing Doll for you and, because I have your Family on speed dial and could tell them you're here at any time.” Yuga finished, while flashing his phone screen showing off Yuo’s number on it, and his thumb dangerously close to the call button. “You Wouldn't.” Swirly jolted up, looking like he was going to try to make a grab for Yuga’s phone. Yuga quickly stood up on his chair to get the height advantage, keeping his phone above his head while doing so. “I Would!” “Why do you even have his number.” the Goha sibling exasperated “Because I was the only one who knew how to fix all the technical issues at Goha, and needed contact with one of the presidents” Yuga replied matter of factly before continuing. “So how does that space trip sound now?” Swirly let out a defeated sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose and grumbling “You're not giving me much of a choice here. Fine fix Doll, give me another chocolate bar, and let me pass out for another hour and you have a deal.” “Deal. “ Yuga smiled as he crouched down from the chair to get another bar from the grocery bag and throwing it to Swirly.
