My phone is so old in technology years that Instagram, one of only five apps on my phone, has stopped working. So. This phone might be coming to its end, which is very stupid because it is a functional device otherwise. Thanks planned obsolescence.

I’m so glad that it would take several attempts to “download” every time someone sent me a photo via text. And sometimes it wouldn’t even work.

I’m so glad that the majority of emojis people send me come through as question marks?

Cell phones are so expensive, and I’m lucky that I can afford to get a used one soon, but it is crazy to think that all people need cell phones to get by in this society. This expensive ass device that needs to be upgraded regularly to be able to continue to function in society.

I honestly do not understand being upset about images you post being scraped beyond just like, the broad ethical concern of images being used without consent or compensation to train for-profit image generators. Especially not to the point some people have reached of like 'I'm just not gonna post art/writing online anymore' like unfortunately everything you ever post online has been scraped for profit in various capacities for years this isn't new

#Think part of it is the misconception that image generators literally like recycle and collage together 'stolen art' #Which is not how they work lol. It's used as part of a massive dataset to teach a machine how to accurately execute prompts #Again I am wholly against use of image generation technology used to replace human labor in artistic industries and etc but the #outcry is so not about that so much of the time and it really frustrates me

Yes even if they can't work. Even if they require a ton of care. Even if they don't fit your *aesthetic* ideal. Even if they are disfigured, immobile, struggle socially, or are prone to overstimulation. Even if they hallucinate. Even if they seem gross, ugly, loud, or take up space. Even if they are rude (aka don't take any shit)

There will always be disabled people. Make sure your idea of utopia has a space for us or it will never come true.

Most infuriating Mother of learning crossover for Zorian: Undertale. Zorian has to once again be the sidekick in a timeloop fighting another evil time traveler. But this time the evil time traveler is a sentient soulseizer chrysanthemum and the central focus for the time loop is a ten year old child. Sure, he may not have to deal with pre fantasy WW1, but the fact that the magic system and solution to the timeloop is the power of friendship might not be worth the trade off.

(Also, how will the monsters respond to the many many murders he committed fighting the invasion of Cyoria, including his own past self?)

I get why people get frustrated when someone else takes forever respond and I realize I can sometimes be a bad conversation partner but I fucking haaaaaaaaaaaaaaate when I'm messaging someone and I take maybe a few minutes to respond and they immediately start the whole hello are you there. Are you not interested anymore. Give me a second to compose my thoughts

My phone is at 63.8 out of 64 GB of storage 🌸 It deleted all of my texts ever and sometimes forgets contacts. When I try to make space, I have to delete the same photos over and over because it‘s losing its ability to delete photos.

I…do have 9,600 things in my photo app, including 465 videos… But all my photos are special and I want to keep them 🥺
