Back between... lessee 2015 and 2019 or so I used to frequent tgchan a lot. In that time, it seems like much of it has died off in activity levels. /quest/ seems still active, but /draw/ and the like are deader than dead.
It is... frankly quite bizarre looking back on it all. Remembering what it used to be. Frankly I'm just surprised the servers are still up and running, especially after the repeated bot attacks.

Is there a lore primer for your work on FA? Your worldbuilding is fascinating. Also, proselytize is so good, please write 5000 more chapters
first off thank you proselytize is really fun even if fanfiction is not normally my jam. proselytize has been planned out mostly unchanged for a long time now and it's just the matter of oh my god romance scenes are fucking hard people wanting to kiss is weird and that's the hold up in writing more chapters right now
i have a lot of settings i do stuff with on FA ngl. one of my most obnoxious inspirations was Dune, and one of my worst traits as a person in this world is creating content with 0 effort to explain itself and it's on the reader to figure things out through context because that is, personally, my nonsexual fetish and i am subjecting everyone to it constantly
my most stable and prolific settings are Under Watchful Is and Auroral Oceans and if anyone's visiting my gallery those are the folders i suggest you poke into primarily
there used to be a pastebin for Under Watchful Is setting document but pastebin apparently banned like all its content so uhhh fuck it HERE'S A DROPBOX of the UWi setting notes
UWi is a world that largely knows it's a story and it began as a tumblr game that died off really fast due to player derails. it's where knicknacks (the giant cotton beast guys) are from! there's like ten kinds of magic and you can alter reality just by trying hard enough and that's normal for everyone there. it remains one of my favorite settings to draw little snippets of life from
to get a good sense of UWi i would recommend Yhelm's story , just, just kinda go into her gallery and start from the back and work your way up. a lot of the context of her story explains a lot of the setting, and her story is super situated in how her setting works b/c honestly worldbuilding should exist to serve the story mostly i think personally
note that a lot of the posts are images WITH text stories beneath so look at the description in the image pages for like the majority of the actual stories
i'm SLOW in working on Yhelm's stuff but i'm not given up on it! it's an awkward journey of romance and family relationships and race and identity and magic and poly romance and crime
Auroral Oceans is going through a ton of reworks because it's my most granular highly-detailed setting with very specific rules. so far the only real kinda-ongoing story is Sasfsets' but heyyo content warning there's a lot of bad people in that story and there's a lot of full on sexual abuse and murder. her story's kinda stuck because i wanted to redo some of the visual style of the setting to move away from them feeling like furries and making them feel more like weird aliens in a world of endless rainbow and void
these are ALL part of a giant fucking metasetting linked to the City in the Middle, with each of the settings and worlds all having the same kind of lifespan and reproductive system and underlying fundamental rules, and there are drifts like Tabrix and Sabhaxlia who can go between worlds or who are worlds
Sabhaxlia herself also started life as a tgchan quest

This week on Tentajack Z
It's been a while since I've posted about my life stuff
-I'm currently decompressing all the stress from the holidays due to my job, which has left me in what I can only call my 'brain dead' mode while I try to get my shit together again. I'm not doing this shit again next fall/winter so I need to find a better job in the next few months, I WON'T stay where I'm currently working
-Confirmed I'm running the CYOA I've been talking about sometime in the next two weeks, no matter if I don't have everything done (At this point it's just character portraits as I'm swearing off all backgrounds/environmental art except for the opening bathroom scene and a shot of the entire front of the hotel building, and I still need to make those too.) If I don't get it done in time, then tough shit I'm going forward anyways!
-I've only made a few mentions of it on this blog, but the cyoa will be run on 4chan over on /mlp/. I know not everyone is comfortable with that, but this style of cyoa requires all submissions to be anonymous, and the only other viable place that lets me do that is tgchan (Tempted to run there sometimes but I would need to lurk there first to get a feel for it). That said, getting people from over here means some of the dumber anons won't be the majority of responses, so I do invite everyone to give it a try once it's live.
-I had a strange dream series last night, first it was minecraft (did you know I've never played with somebody? Only solo? It's so lonely), then it turned into a strange mix of pokemon and MMBN while taking place in a smoothed over version of the minecraft environment I was in? There was much rollerskating involved and it was so cool. Then it all melted away into a little house in a sky-like void with a pool where the deeper end had algae but I was just chilling and having a fantastic time with the dream people there. I miss people.
-I had like 2 fanfic WIPs I was working on up until all my energy got squeezed out of me by my job, I feel really bad about not finishing them but if I don't work on this CYOA project I'm going to scream
-I still don't have a date for the release of the zine I made an entry for, and while it's nobodys fault (If you're reading this bezka I'm not mad at you at all, I'm just frustrated with the circumstances), I did learn a very hard lesson about tying project start dates to the end dates of other projects; something about my ADHD made it very hard to backpedal from the 'no working on anything else just in case they need you' mindset I made for myself.
-I crave death so badly, but I want to live! whenever or not I can is an entirely different question. I'm going to need to get all my doctor stuff set up like I've been meaning to do for months now

Today is the tenth anniversary of KnifeQuest, a quest I did for the board TGChan. It was the first original creative project I ever published, and likely the most formative. For those of you who have been following me for a while, you may recognize it!
It ran from 2012 to 2016. I ended up being dissatisfied with my writing ability at the time and ended it on a cliffhanger. On the whole, it's pretty lumpy, but I think I wrote some fun characters. I want to do a complete version some day.
You can still read the quest over at its QuestDen Wiki page, which contains links to each chapter. Be warned, there's BLOOD and some early horny (I wrote this when I was 18, so go figure)

I'm curious if you've heard of AsteroidQuest? It's a roleplay adventure on tgchan -- yes I know, bear with me here -- with what I found to be some really interesting aliens. In particular, the de facto "main character" species are sort of halfway between individuals and a hive mind, which sounds like it would be up your alley.
I've never even heard of it

Ok, here goes: I wish there were a fully voice acted Nan Quest, but it's been about 7 years since it concluded and there's nothing of the sort (yet). I'd make one myself if I only had the means (e.g. finding and paying VAs). Maybe someday, I say hypocritically. On a lighter note, I quite like Santiago as a character, though I'm baffled by all the calls for Nan to hug him.
It would be cool if there was a voice-acted Nan Quest, like the one Voxus made for Ruby Quest. I'm guessing they reason they specifically didn't do it is some combination of "we're busy with other stuff" and Nan Quest being a bit more obscure than Ruby Quest, even though a voice-acted series hosted on YouTube would be exactly the kind of attention it needs to help make it un-obscure. Aside from that though I do think it could benefit from voice-acting. Not only do I think there were more moments where a character gets directly quoted instead of a statement being implied and extracted, as well as more dialogue in general (both of which lets the voice actors stretch those legs), but Nan Quest had more of a focus on the characters and the drama surrounding and between them, and some good voice-acting could inject a strong emotional punch.
Not to mention, Nan Quest makes heavier use of GIFs, and while that's cool and allows for some dynamic scenes and even surprises if a GIF stays still for a while initially, there were some oddities. If you were reading it on tgchan, they only animated when you clicked on them, which leads to a kind of "waiting" if you read the post first then the GIF. If you set all the images to open, then the GIFs play automatically and the surprise might happen early. And if you were reading it on Mozai or MSPFA or some other mirror, you only had the second option available. A video format would let you control the pacing perfectly.
On Santiago, I also think he's cool :]. And for why the frequent calls to hug him, it does in fact Not Make Sense because while to the audience, Santiago is a sympathetic if fucked up guy who pulls off the questionable morality and sanity bit with incredible presence and charisma, to Nan he's just some weirdo who played the piano that one time and attacked her that other time. However, you must understand. Every third command in Ruby Quest was "hug Tom", and the average participant in both threads is a boy-crazy hugslut (these two facts are related).

Stream requests. Fun time doing what’s essentially randomized drawing.
Contention on the pun in the last one - Could also have been "Boob in a Cube"

I made a follow-up picture for this old what-if of Deem replacing Alice. They should probably stop watering her.

HALL UPDATE!
Sorry it took so long. I must admit that currently I find myself a bit confused by some of the suggestions I get for this puzzle. This one is definitely a learning experience for me. Hopefully future puzzles are less confusing.
