Steve takes a second to feel relieved it's not Dustin getting all sorts of arrested in places he shouldn’t be, then he goes back to staring.

It's Billy, who looks as good now as he did the last time Steve saw him: three years ago. He looks just as complicated, too. He’s got bruises on his face, a split lip.

The officer clears her throat, slowly, awkwardly, and Steve realizes they’ve been staring at each other for a while, now. He imagines, for a moment, saying that he doesn’t know this person, this stranger, pretending that Billy Hargrove was someone he used to know and kind of remembers, but--no, he’s not willing to sign for him, or whatever. To vouch for him. “Mr. Harrington?” the officer prompts.

Steve runs a hand through his hair. “Steve,” he corrects, a little absently. “Yeah, I’ll--yeah. Do you have a form, or something?”

Three years later, Steve Harrington signs Billy Hargrove out of a police station. This, it turns out, is only the beginning.

so ive been on twitter a lot the pst few days and the consistent topic on my timeline is jt miller. and ive been thinking canucks isnt a team that is sure to make the playoffs every year and they are far away from being a contending team. now i love miller like the lotto line? best thing to exist. but if i were miller and im 30 and i still have no cup under my name and i see teams like canes, rangers and islanders wanting me on their roster bro i’d take first class out of vancouver. if im an nhl player like isnt that the end goal of every player? to get a cup and from how i see it its not the canucks who can get him there. islanders were bad this year bcos of the coaching probably but they are a good team and nyr and canes? bro they need someone like him i feel like hes a missing piece that those teams need. besides if he wants to get paid with the money he deserves after that 99pts? i dont think its the nucks that can give him that like dude the whole organization needs fixing from the front office to the locker room since apparently everyone got so used to losing that players are so casual with it

with all that being said, i’d like to know what’s your position about the whole trade or keep miller lmfao

(also like can other people like share their own insights as well i genuinely want to know esp if youre not a fan of the nucks. thank u)

idk i think it would obviously be beneficial for vancouver to keep him and i feel like we could possibly be in a good spot in a couple years (although that might just be me being ridiculously hopeful)

i think jt wants to stay here since he is apart of the leadership and he might not get another chance of that if he’s traded. hopefully with the new coaching the dynamics will change in the locker room at least? idk i didn’t really pay attention to anything past the team before this year so i don’t know that much about the problems or anything lol.

i think he’s going to leave though. van can’t afford to give him what he wants and yeah he probably will want to get a cup (although i saw he was most likely going to new jersey lmao)

"Just that," she panted, but her words were scattering to the winds as those soft, luscious, pouty lips settled on her neck and began to kiss slowly, sweetly, indulgently across her skin, "just that, um, I mean, I-I've... I've, um... never..."

She felt a hand on her side, and without thinking, Ami allowed herself to be steered so she could be pushed back onto the bed.

Faramir & Eowyn. I think they work brilliantly and I really like that they heal together after everything they've been through, but I still wouldn't seek out or write fic about them. I feel like I'm missing out on the love of shipping that everyone else in fandom seems to have 😌

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

I usually only start writing if I know I like the idea enough to finish it. I do have a few from my old account that I've abandoned, but that's more because I lost interest in the fandom than in the fics themselves

What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue and characterisation/character growth

What are your writing weaknesses?

Plotting 😬 and I have a tendency to turn everything into angsty drama when it doesn't need to be and then I have to go back and tone it down

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

If it's a minimal amount and necessary then ok, but otherwise it can be kinda jarring (which I suppose is ok if that's the ambition). Unless you're Jirt. Then it's ok you can blather on in elvish all u want sir I am still very invested

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter hehe it was a next generation fic and I planned like 50 chapters but I was only 13 and gave up after five chaps

What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I was really proud of something I should tell you at the time because it was my first ever completed longfic, but now it's definitely scorch marks and embers, which I kinda see as a S4 fix-it fic (but worse lol). We shall see if the spot gets taken by the Robin Hood au 👀

MYSTIC FORCE FOREVER MY FAVORITE SEASON!!!!!!!!! (NS TOO) I never talk about it but. I love it so much. It's got such a different and unique vibe with the magic n stuff. And the suits are GORGEOUS. and the theme song and soundtrack are flawless. Esp the finisher theme my BELOVED!!!

Summary: She’s not into hockey. But she’s into him. The worlds of a professional hockey player and a book editor seems to keep colliding. But when they decide to really meet, it seems that the world has other plans.

Part 3 (Part 1 / Part 2)

Two weeks later I knew Mat was in New York because the Isles had a game. They will play Nashville at home tomorrow night and I wish I could go. Mat asked me, but I refused. I wasn't ready to be seen with him and he wouldn’t allow me to watch the game from a regular sit. I knew it because we talked about it.

After that day we talked almost every day. Started with him asking me if I saw the game and his goals. We talked a little bit about hockey but I didn’t understand much. The Isles was my team because of my dad and, well, now because of Mat.

I didn’t know what was going on. Why I wanted to tell him everything. I was always worried when he was travelling and watching games was becoming a regular thing. He always wanted to know what I was reading and he did read Pucked. Complain about a few thing but in the end, he liked it.

It was incredible that it was only mid-January. Since I met Mat my life seems to have changed. It was weird because nothing was different. I still have to go to work, read a lot of books, deal with my brother and every other simple thing in my life. But now everything seems a little bit brighter. I knew I was being innocent thinking Mat was the reason why I was this way. I shouldn’t let him make me feel like this. But he did.

Talking to him at lunchtime was one of the bests moments of my day. Our lives were confusing and it was almost impossible to find time to meet. And that was the reason why I didn’t see him since the airport. Of course, I want to go to Brooklyn, maybe try to catch him after practice. But to be honest, I have no idea what to say to him.

One thing is spending all night talking on the phone, or texting. But take the subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn was different. I wanted to see him, but I’m pretty sure I’ll just start stuttering or something more embarrassing.

But when I got home that day, Liam was mumbling about something on the phone.

— I asked you to buy the Rangers ticket Javi. You bought the Isles? What the fuck will I do with an Islanders ticket?

Liam was mad. It was even funnier to look at him, face all red, eyes kinda blurry and I thought he was going to break his phone by the way he was holding it.

— Are you sure you can’t change? — He asked whoever he was talking to with the softer voice I ever heard him use. — really?

I open the fridge to get something to drink. I wasn’t thirsty but I needed to know the end of that phone call.

— Fine. I’ll give it to someone else. But you're buying the right one.

I open the soda can slowly, looking at my brother trying to understand if it was okay to talk.

— Are you okay? — I finally asked, still a bit afraid.

— Yeah. Just some jackass that bought tickets for the wrong hockey game. — It was his time to take a soda from the fridge. — Hey, Liv, you like the Islanders, right? I know you’re not a huge fan of hockey, but I don’t want to throw this away. I paid for it. Do you have plans for tomorrow night?

I smiled. The only answer I had was a pretty and stupid smile on my face. I took the tickets from his hand and thanked him. First, because I’ll be able to go to my teams game after all. And second, because I’ll be able to surprise Mat.

I should think this through. It wasn’t my first time at a game but was my first time all by myself. Hockey fans can be intimidating even if you’re wearing the same jersey as they are.

The arena was crowded. My sit was somewhere in the middle and it was a pretty good sit. I could see the players faces but I also can see the big picture of the game. Nashville was winning by one goal and that means nothing in hockey. It was still the 2nd period and everything could change in seconds.

Mat was on fire. After a not so great start on the season for him, he was beginning to play the way I knew Mat Barzal could play. Well, at least the way I read he could play.

The arena was full of puck bunnies and of course, he was one of their desires. One of the bests single players in the league and yet, he rather keep talking to me on a Friday night.

Even now, I had no idea what I was supposed to say to him. Or even if he’d be able to see me when the game was over. I guess I’ll have to take my chances.

When the break started, the players went back to the locker room. From where I stand, I could see their faces, and all of Mat’s teammates weren’t happy. But they still had time to change that,

— Come on, guys. — I whisper, more for myself then for then.

When the 3rd period started, I couldn’t take my eyes off the rink. It seems the Islanders came back with anger, wanting to win at home. Mat almost started a fight with Nashville’s captain. When was still 10 minutes on the clock, Islanders scored tying the game. I got myself screaming on the arena. Cheering more than I was before.

Maybe I was starting to actually like hockey, not only for my dad but because this game was something else. Or maybe, I was just really into a hockey player. The one who was skating faster than the other. The one wearing the number 13 which, curiously, was my lucky number. And, while I was still following him on the ice, Mat makes a shot to the goal. Islanders were now in front of the board.

I was screaming louder than before and I just took my eyes off the ice to check the clock. 2 minutes. We just have to hold Nashville back for two minutes. They can do it, I know they can.

Nashville tried. But they only tried and, when the clock finished, the Islanders took the two points.

I look at Mat when they were celebrating the wining and he was staring right at me. Everyone left the ice and he stayed there, looking at me trying to understand. He put a big smile on his face and walked his way through the tunnel. Before he disappeared, he told something for the security and, a couple of minutes later, a girl came on my way.

— Hey, you’re Olivia, right?

— Yeah…

— Hi. I’m Hayle. Barzal asked me to take you to the press box. He will meet you thereafter the shower.

What? How the hell he knew I was here? Clearly, I said that out loud because Hayle answered me.

— Oh, I thought he knew you were here.

— No. I took my brothers ticket and didn’t tell him I was coming. He might’ve seen me from the ice.

— Those are pretty good eyes.

Yes, they were. How did he know I was here?

I waited in one of the press rooms. Luckily, I was alone. Had no idea how I would explain that If someone else were here. I picked up my phone and Liam had sent me some text.

“R U Okay?”

“Yeah. Just going to find a friend before going home.”

“K”.

I was lucky to have a brother. Sometimes he annoyed me, but I knew I would always have a friend. Liam and I were best friends since he was born, even if sometimes we got a bit distant and we were always pissing each other off, but in the end, I knew he was the one I could count on.

— There you are! — Mat entered the room with a big smile on his face. I couldn’t help but smile back.

— Hey. Yeah, here I am. And how the hell did you know that?

He came a little bit closer, without taking his eyes off mine.

— When I scored, I just looked to the bleachers and I thought I had seen you. But it couldn’t be. I thought you would have told me if you were coming to my game. But then, when It was over, I looked back and there you were. Standing there looking beautiful. Then I just knew I had to keep you here or you would’ve just run away.

I laughed. How was he supposed to know me so well?

— Am I wrong?

— No. I was already picking up my stuff to go home when Hayle approached me.

— Glad she did. — He got very close.

— Yeah? Me too.

I don’t know who kissed who, but somehow, I ended up in his arms. The kiss was soft, he hugged me close, aware that we were still in the arena, even if alone at the press box. I could try to describe the kiss, but I wasn’t one of the writers from my books and, in real life, things sometimes can be more about magic than words. Right now, I just knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be: in Mat Barzal’s arms.

OK so I am HYPE and possibly gonna get into a dnd campaign and if this starts soon I will have WoW RP AND dnd dice rollies going on at the same time im vibrating and thus i am gonna yell about my dnd characters I also yelled on Twitter but here on tumblr i am free from Text Limit so HA

This is Adventure, but if she thinks ur chill u can call her Addy. Shes a Ranger whose preferred terrain is one of the cold ones (I think tundra?) so she’s usually in a Massive, bulky coat/cloak combo, and she also wraps her tail in a scarf so it doesn’t get cold, and she has a lil headband so that when her hood is up she doesn’t have to worry about her forehead getting cold, with her hood not being able to go over her horns. She’s very much a Mom Friend and will do her absolute fucking best to keep everyone alive. Once she’s high enough level for an animal companion I’m gonna try to get her a wolf. Big pubby. But if some other critter comes along first I will adopt.

This dude here was literally just named Roshi (Thanks to one of my guildies dflgkdfgnjfdg), but I’ve also been calling him things like Leaf Dude/Moss Man. He’s an elderly dragonborn druid who literally just. One day saw a forest and decided he wanted to protec it and so here he is, with moss and a singular leaf on his horns. He’s a druid but I joke between his glasses, robe, bag and lantern staff people would think he’s a wizard just bc of his vibes lmao. Literally the only giveaway is the actual plants growing on him. He’s very grandfatherly and will adopt you as his grandkid if you so desire. Might fuck around and make him as a green wyrm in WoW someday.

And last (for now, knowing me LMFAO) is Pyron! They’re a fire genasi barbarian (with some orc features), and i literally only made them at first bc I saw that fire genasi can have fire hair and that their eyes burn when they’re angry and then my thoughts instantly jumped to “barbarian rage fire glow” and so here they are! They’re chill, and they love to have that nice fire aesthetic, and also enjoy s’mores. And i gave them glowy freckles bc Why Not. Pyron has darkvision bc nothing in their general vicinity remains dark.

Heartbreak Red Takeover 2019

Like last year, Heartbreak Red took over the Tsukista twitter account (@tsukiuta1) as part of April Fools’ Day for a little bit to respond to fans’ tweets. The categories are Advice, Requests, and Messages.

His catchphrase is loosely translated as “Your heart will beat BA-DUMP!” (HAATO ga kyun to kite dokkoisho!). The black text next to his picture in the above photo says “Your heart squeezed? ...That’s just heart arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat)” LOL

Below are the funny or interesting replies he gave! (Some were just regular advice so I skipped those...) There’s a lot of cameos from the other Reds and the other idols~ It’s long, so read after the cut!
