So I posted the regular version of this first because I really liked how the sketch turned out… And then about 4 this morning I decided I wanted to try and do some atmospheric lighting to it and boom— this is what emerged.

I thought about when they were on the cliff precipice before Zanarkand and he was telling Wakka and Tidus about his “failed” story...

As for my fanfiction recommendations these stories are incredible -epic!- and at least two of them are very very long (one at 600K+ words… 😱) They have some of the best insightful prose on the inner workings of and thought processes of people living in the never-ending drain of death that is Spira. Don’t let the shipping part of them distract you -especially- from the Soldier of Spira one because every FFX fan should read that one. I can’t recommend these enough! The title is from that one.
