Get you a man who will deliver your anemia medicine for you, volunteer for gruesome murders for you, set up a nice cozy tent in his massive house for you, conduct medical malpractice for you, recreate the sound of the wind through the trees for you, buy a funeral home for you, make fondue for you, gently hit a guy with his car in the rain for you,

I think you’re her glory. But I want you to become her ruin instead.

"Look at these sparkling walls not yellowed by cigarette smokes, or infected with mold. None of these walls are strained by hatred. How strange this all is."

When did you learn how to do this? Well... I learned this morning. I looked up ideas for some romantic dinners.

I think we need to shed some light on the reason why Joo Yeo Jeong was an integral character in Dong Eun's revenge and journey to self-healing and why they are meant to be together — that is because he understands her need for revenge.
He validates her feelings and is willing to join her in the hunt not only because he's going through a similar experience but because they both need something in their life, and that's justice.
When he saw all of her burned scars, he was enraged and immediately felt her pain. There was a burning feeling in him when he saw those "injuries", not just because he likes this girl — in which he's truly crazy about — but because he just understand that those injuries won't heal without justice and without bringing back her glory once again.
This was his biggest difference with Ha Do Yeong, who made the decision to stay with Yeon-jin after his last dinner with Dong-eun and seeing the scars. He's still interested and curious about her, and he feels bad about what has happened to her and couldn't believe it all — but he can not see her need for revenge. He's concerned, but thinks it was a pointless obsession gaining very little in the end — and other people may think similarly to him, but no — for Dong-eun it was justice and to Yeo-jeong it was her way to move forward with her life as a 19 year old. I think this understanding is similar to any political movement, when the other side pressures the other side to move on and forget because they believe it was pointless, but to the other side it was justice and hope and their glory.

yeo jeong and his mom joking about getting him a european stepdad, they have the best relationship and it gets me thinking about what The Glory wants to say about motherhood
how both dong eun and yeon jin's mothers so easily gave them up to save themselves, how ms kang endured so much abuse for her daughter, how yeon jin tried to hide the worst of herself from ye sol, how so hee's mother never gave up on bringing her justice
how the person with the most ieung (ㅇ) in their name turned out to be yeon jin's own mother and she was doomed to turn out the way she did since the day her mother was pregnant with her

She really did fuck those people up - I mean, they mostly destroyed themselves but she was smart enough to move them to the point of them just doing everything and her still keeping her hands clean.
The last time I was this satisfied with vigilante justice was in Vincenzo.
