the appeal of yeojeong as a normal guy who’s just a little bit off. not enough that you would notice when talking to him, of course, but it’s just there, under the surface. a disturbance. and i think it’s interesting because typically you have two types of guys somewhat adjacent to this: guy who seems totally normal but is secretly sadistic/a psychopath, and then guy haunted by a traumatic/troubled past, who has that secret layer of torment running beneath the surface of their image. but yeojeong breaks through these archetypes, and i think part of it is because he’s just so...calm. it’s not that he’s living a double life (kind doctor by day, killer by night) or hiding part of his past (everyone he worked with knew about what happened to his father, and watched his downward spiral during his college days). he’s not the typical male character who is, at every attempt, trying to outrun his tragic past (even though he does run once or twice); he’s not haunted by flashbacks, or suffer from PTSD in the way that is usually portrayed in dramas. and i think part of that is because the glory is a story about victims. it’s dongeun’s story, first and foremost, even though it is also yeojeong’s story, and hyeonnam’s story, and sohee’s story. but it’s a story about dongeun’s pain, and when it’s not about her pain, it’s just about the pain of victimhood - unlike other dramas, this isn’t a show where male pain outweighs the rest.
so yeojeong is just a normal guy. he’s handsome. he has a good career. he’s a plastic surgeon, an interesting choice when both his parents were/are hospital directors, and his father seemed to have worked in the er or something of the sort prior to his death (or at the very least wasn’t a plastic surgeon). something could be said here of yeojeong choosing the ‘safe’ path as a doctor, a path where he cures pain and makes people happy without the added risk of being attacked by one of his patients. there’s no proof of that in the show - why he chose to be a plastic surgeon - but it’s an interesting thought path to travel.
dongeun says he must have lived a good life. that he’s never had to worry about the path that he’s on. and that’s true, to a certain extent. to everyone, including her in the beginning, yeojeong is perfectly friendly. he’s perfect, but not the perfect that people perceive as too perfect (i.e. the guy who’s hiding things); he has his moments where he spazzes out, gets into fights, goes crazy over dongeun texting him back, teases his mom. he’s perfectly well adjusted (a perfect contrast to dongeun’s ‘maladjustment’). he wears flip flops to work and gets the same coffee order daily. he plays go with old men in the park.
he likes to listen to the fizzing of vitamin tablets in water because it calms him down. is this a strange thing? only because he thinks it’s important enough to mention to his therapist. he does it at work too - drops the tablet in, closes his eyes, rests his head. he does it at home - drops the tablet in, opens the drawer, draws a knife. it’s about the noise. bubbles rising to the surface, like bubbles rising from underwater. he stays underwater until the last possible moment, when he has to break the surface in order to breath. dongeun makes him feel like he’s at the eye of a storm - a deceptively calm center, while everything else rages outside. and i think it’s kind of important that he makes that comparison, when he’s someone always seeking that calm. the soothing noise, that makes him feel lonely.
so he’s just a normal guy. a normal guy who receives letters on a regular basis from the prisoner who brutally murdered his father. he doesn’t like letters, he tells dongeun. who knows what he does with the letters - does he keep them? does he throw them away as soon as he sees them? he must have read some of them; maybe you only need to read one to know what is in the rest. maybe he’s still reading them; maybe he keeps them without reading, an invisible torment. it’s not what he does with the letters that matters, but that he receives letters at all.
can you still call it a haunting if you’ve almost made your peace with it? if you’re living with it?
he’s just a normal guy, who looks his therapist right in the eyes and tells her that she couldn’t fix him. he diligently attends therapy for years on a regular basis, even though it doesn’t work. he finally abandons it when he moves to semyeong, because he chooses to embrace dongeun’s revenge. he chooses his own revenge, too, in a way. the dark part of him that he can’t escape. the one that makes him pick up the knife, who asks dongeun who to kill before she even tells him she wants any of them dead, even when he’s a doctor from a family of doctors, and doctors don’t kill - they save lives instead.
you couldn’t fix me, he tells his therapist calmly. so calmly. as if there’s not a bloodied man sitting next to him, a man he dreams of killing. the man is just life to him, just like the letters are life to him to. a dulled numbness. an acceptance of it.
is your son going through hell? can you even tell it’s hell, if it’s what you’ve become used to? is it hell when you’re a doctor dreaming of murder? is it hell to no longer be tormented by dead men and living murderers who send you letters? is it?

Hi! <3
Do you know the prompt "When you call them a pretty boy"? I once read a scenario like that and I wonder how the members would react to their s/o calling them a pretty boy. Would they get a bit emotional, be a blushy mess, tease you back..
What do you think?~
Here you go, I hope that you enjoy it!
All members :]
Summary: Xdinary Heroes reaction to you calling them “pretty boy”
WC:929
Warnings: grammar

photo not mine credits to owner.
Gunil
•He’s flustered, taken back a bit. Didn’t expect you to call him that.
• Will always take a compliment though.
“Whatcha doing pretty boy?” You asked as you walked over to where Gunil was currently sitting on the couch. “Oh I-I’m just… not much,” he replies stuttering, with a smile taking over his face.
“What are you doing pretty?” Gunil returns the question, causing you to laugh a bit.
“Bothering my pretty boy,” you say, repeating the nickname again.
“Ah, why do you keep saying that?” he partially whines.
“Calling it how I see it. Why? You don’t like it?”
“It’s not- it just-.....” he stops opting to pull you in for a hug.”You’re attacking my heart!” He proclaimed. You laugh against him mumbling out a “cute”. In conclusion, please continue to call him pretty boy. It makes him feel giddy.
Jungsu
•Shy baby number 1
•Immediately turns red upon hearing the words leave your mouth.
“Can you grab my mug for me, pretty boy?” You asked while looking at Jungsu to see his reaction. You’re met with his very flushed face.
“I uh- yeah. Here you go,” he answers, quickly moving to grab the mug. He hands it to you avoiding all eye contact. Face still tinted red.
“Thank you pretty boy,” you tease him.
“Stop calling me that!” He shouts while his face becomes even redder.
“Why? You are a pretty boy,” continuing on with your teasing.
“Please stop!” he begs, completely beet red.
“Ok, ok I’ll stop,” you tell him as you rub his back soothingly. Leaving a few pats before going to fill up your mug. “Does it really affect you that bad?” This causes him to shoot a glare at you before walking away to plot his revenge.
Gaon/Jiseok
•Goes 1 or 2 ways
•1 nonchalant he simply knows he’s a pretty boy
•2 becomes a complete menace, makes you regret saying it.
1- “Pretty boy pass me my phone please,” you say pointing to where your phone lays not far from him.
“Here,” he states simply handing you your phone, having no reaction to the nickname at all. Leaving you to stare at him. “What?”
“Nothing,” you reply before opening your phone. Maybe you’ll try again another time.
2- “What should we watch, pretty boy?” you question Jiseok while scrolling through Netflix.
“We could watch that new kdrama, but I don’t think the male lead is as much as a pretty boy that I am,” he responds, causing you to look at him with an unamused face. “What? You said it yourself I’m a pretty boy,” he said while resting his face in the palm of his hand. Flaunting his visuals.
“I meant annoying, pretty boy,” you grumble.
O.de/Seungmin
•At first he’s a little shy, but he likes it way more than he’ll admit.
“Pretty boy playing a pretty song,” you greet Seungmin as you enter his room. Where he was currently practicing.
“What did you call me?” he asks, chuckling as a light shade of pink dusts his cheeks
“Pretty boy,” you repeated as you plopped down beside him.
“You and your nicknames,” he playfully rolls his eyes and brings up a hand to mess with your hair.
“Aye! Stop it!” you complain. Grabbing his hand to stop its movement in your hair.
“I think this nickname is one of the best ones though it suits you,” you pause for a moment before continuing “Pretty boy,”
“It’s alright. Wouldn’t call it the best though,” he says, returning to practice another song, but you notice the happy smile that adorns his face.
Junhan/Hyeongjun
•Shy baby number 2
•Ten times more shy than Jungsu
“My pretty boy plays the guitar so well,” you express, sitting next to Hyeongjun on his bed, guitar occupying his lap.
“Why would you call me that?” He whines, a deep shade of red rushing onto his face and down his neck.
“Because you are. You’re the prettiest of pretty boys,” you declare. Making Hyeongjun cover his face with his hand, looking down at his lap.
“No I’m not stop it,” his voice comes out muffled by his hands. You lean forward, prying his hands away from his face, keeping each one grasped in your own.
“Yes you are. You’re a pretty boy because I said so,” staring right into his eyes as you spoke. He tries to pull out of your firm grasp, but you won’t let him.
“Ok, I get it. Just stop now please,” he begged fervently.
“Fine, I’m done…. for now”
“Yah!” he shouted, causing you to laugh.
Jooyeon
•Another menace
“What do you want to have for dinner, pretty boy?” you ask Jooyeon. He smirks upon hearing your words.
“Your pretty boy wants chicken,” he replies with a playful smile taking over his lips.
“What about drinks?” you follow up. Silence is the only response you get. “I asked about drinks,” you repeat. Again you’re only met with his silence as he stares at you tilting his head to the side and shrugging. You let out a sigh catching on.
“What would you like to drink, pretty boy?”
“Cola obviously,” he says sassily.
“You’re only gonna respond to pretty boy now aren’t you?”
“You shall call me as I am,”
“A thorn in my side,” you state with a sarcastic smile.
“How dare you call me a thorn,” he lunges at you, fingers beginning to assault your sides.
“Alright, I’m sorry pretty boy,” you surrender.
“Good,” he says with a satisfied smile, but keeps his arms wrapped around you.

Listen I am on my rewatch of The Glory and aside from being madly in love with both the romantic and unhinged nature of Joo Yeo Jeong, The absolute disparity between the good and bad parents in this show is killing me.
Dong-Eun’s mom? Absolute piece of trash with no class.
Yeon-Jin’s mom? Karen who thinks money and power can buy you anything.
Yeo-Jeong’s mom? Absolutely 100% supportive, but not stupid and committed to doing the right thing.
Kang Hyeon-Nam? The baddest bitch alive, willing to do anything to save her daughter even if it means endangering herself.
And then you have the disparity between Jae Jun and Do-Hyeong, who both cared about Ye-Sol. Jae Jun only cared about her when it was convenient for him and wanted her not because he truly loved her but because he wanted to possess her. Meanwhile, you have Do-Hyeong who is constantly looking out for Ye-Sol’s best interests even though he isn’t biologically related to her.
NOT ONLY THAT, but you also have Yeo-Jeong’s Dad, who was murdered by a patient while doing what he thought was right by saving him, unintentionally starting his son on the path to revenge.
And like yeah The Glory’s main focus is revenge but it’s also an exquisite commentary on how we pass down, inherit, come to terms with, and outright prevent generational trauma from our parents. It also shows how we can choose to do better or worse than they did based on the relationships we create or take for granted.
Idk man, as a generational trauma cycle breaker myself and mom of an (adopted adult) daughter that also experienced so much of that, this show gets to me on a parenting level in a way I can’t even begin to describe.
(Also Do-Yeong’s relationship with Ye-Sol makes me cry in the best way 🥹)

a/n: Hey there, this is my first time writing a fan fiction. I might change a few things in my fictions later on. Also, my English isn't my first language so my writing might lack some fluency. Hope you enjoy :)
trigger warnings: lots of swearing, bullying, murder, gore, depression, abuse, mature content, violence, sexual themes.
pairing: reader x multi
************************************************************************
Moon Dong-Eun
I’ve been a great help to Y/N for quite many days. I finished tutoring Min-hee and helped her get into the Semyeong Elementary School. On the other hand, I helped Y/N move into her new apartment. After finishing helping her settle, I got her the job at the convenience store. The old lady was really nice and that she told us that she was in need of another helper since she couldn’t handle everything all alone. All the supplies for the school and the transportation services were done by me.
After everything was done, I brought Y/N to my apartment. She was caught off-guard due to all the pictures of them attached to the walls in front of her.
“You did quite the research, didn’t you? You weren’t kidding back then when you told me you tracked each and every step they took,” she said as she slowly approached a picture of the group together in their teens. She was reading the sticky notes that I attached on some of the pictures when she saw a polaroid of her when she was young, followed by few other pictures of her from the current time, along with her niece. She also saw a few photos of her families before and after they separated. She stood in front of those and rubbed her finger gently on an image of a girl I believe was her sister.
“You didn’t leave me out as well,” she said as she turned around to meet my eyes. “I have every reason to be mad at you, Dong-eun, but at the same time, I don’t. I can simply report you to the police for stalking me and immediately put an end to your years’ effort, but at the same time, I can’t. I can easily walk out of this place and quit participating in your plan, but I don’t wish to. Because I trust you, Moon Dong-Eun. Not only am I risking my own life, but also Min-hee’s life. Once they find out about her, they will use her against me as my weakness. So make sure you prove me wrong and help us not get caught.”
After hearing those words from her, that’s when I knew I did the right thing involving her in this. She’s aware of the environment she’s getting herself into and knows how to take the necessary precautions, and not just an airhead with the lust for revenge.
“I knew you would feel this way once you notice those pictures. But I couldn’t help it either. When we were in school, you never bought a cell-phone for yourself. So it was quite difficult to track you down.”
“I would rather call it stalking than tracking down, Dong-eun,” she said as she turned away from me to look back at those images. I couldn’t say anything since she made a fair point. But I didn’t have any other choice either.
“I don’t recognize her. Who’s she?” She points out to a picture of Hyeon-nam.
“That’s Kang Hyeon-nam. She works for me as my assistant. She’s the one who helped me land the job as a homeroom teacher. She’s also the one who ‘stalked’ you.”
“Huh, interesting,” she said as she removed her finger from the picture and placed her hands inside her pockets. “I would like to get to know her.”
“You will when the time is right.”
I walk towards the kitchen as she moves from the wall to the window, her eyes never taking it off of those images.
I placed a small security camera at the top shelf in my kitchen, making it unnoticeable, and connected it with my phone. I took out another small box that contained another security camera and handed it to Y/N.
“There’s a possibility of them finding out about our address once they get to know about our plans. So take this, and install this somewhere where nobody will notice it. And don’t be surprised when one of them or all of them enters your house when nobody’s there.”
“Alright,” she takes it from my hand and puts it back into her satchel.
“Come on, let’s go to the roof.”
“The roof?”
“Yeah, I want to show you something.”
“Okay,” she walks past me towards my door. I unlock the door open as she busies herself in putting her shoes back on. As we got outside, I locked it behind me and walked towards the elevator.
We got inside the elevator and pushed the button to go upwards.
“Did you get the invitation for the Alumni Awards?”
“Sorry, what?”
“The Alumni Awards ceremony at Sung-han High. It’s in a few days.”
“Oh yeah maybe I did. I haven’t checked it yet.”
“Am thinking of going.”
“Wait, they’re going to be there too, wouldn’t they?”
“Yes. You need to come as well.”
“What’s the use? We aren’t even getting any awards?”
“It’s not about awards, Y/N, it’s a game of intimidation.”
She kept staring at me as if I said something illegal that deserves life in prison. We didn’t talk for a while.
The elevator came to an abrupt halt and the doors slowly opened before us. We stepped outside and climbed few more stairs to finally get to the roof.
It was a beautiful evening with the sun just setting, the color of the sky a perfect hue of flame. We came near the edge that overlooked the houses that stretched far beyond our vision. The tall buildings at far distances created just the flawless silhouette I’ve ever witnessed. Everything about Semyeong just felt so beautiful at the moment. I never took some time for myself to appreciate how exquisite this place this. The ordeals I faced here, never actually gave me any time to appreciate anything about my life.
“You see the house there?” I points to the one nearby.
“Yeah, what about it?”
“That’s where Yeon-jin lives.”
The perfect moment she was in immediately faded when she heard her name.
“That’s where she lives?”
“Yes. Ha Ye-sol, Ha Do-yeong, Park Yeon-jin, all under the same roof.”
She looked at me with her bewildered eyes, a face of the scared.
“But-then why did you buy this apartment? Wont they find out easily?”
“Not so easily Y/N, she has no clue whatsoever. She still thinks that she can get away with anything. She never learns.”
She looks back at the house. The lights on the road and inside the house lit up as it got darker. We didn’t talk for a while. The sun had set a while ago. Everything is just happening so fast, it’s making me feel overwhelmed, but I didn’t think of telling that to Y/N, otherwise she would be scared too, almost like how a mother deep down feels scared for their children but acts like there’s nothing wrong, just for them to not get scared.
It’s been my dream, for so many years, to stand here and watch over all of them, behaving as if they did absolutely nothing wrong, as if, they can get away with anything they want. Little do they know, that am right here, right in front of them, to prove them wrong.
“The day I dropped out from Sung-han High, I went to meet them, at the gym.”
She removed her hands from the edge and turned to look at me.
“What?”
“Yes. That day, I felt something new, some kind of new change in myself, something a bit evil.”
“Evil?”
“Yes. Almost like, the end of their reign, but a beginning of my hell.”
“What happened that day?”
“That day, was the only day I entered the gym voluntarily. Nobody forcibly dragged me there, I went in completely on my own. I remember so clearly, as I walked in, Hye-jeong started walking away from me, as if she was scared of me. But I ignored her, and went straight to Yeon-jin, sitting at her usual place. The weirdest part is, we talked about our dreams.”
“Dreams?”
“Yeah, they submitted their “dreams” at Cyworld, and I read all of them, told them about those that day. Yeon-jin dreamt of becoming a wise mother and a wife, Choi Hye-jeong dreamt of becoming a stewardess, Jeon Jae-joon wanted to own the golf course, and Lee Sa-ra dreamt of being an artist. Obviously, they asked me about my dream as well.”
“So what did you say then?”
“Yeon-jin,” I said with a pause. “I told her that she was my dream, and that I really wish to meet her again.”
“So all of our dreams finally came true.”
“Indeed. And I wish to bring them to their knees and show them no mercy.”
She turned around to look at me again, but I didn’t. I haven’t taken my eyes off of that house.
“Does Ha Do-yeong have the slightest idea that he married a monster?”
“He doesn’t, but he will soon. And so will Ha Ye-sol. I wish to isolate her to the point that the people she holds dear, the ones who covered up her crimes, will give up on her. Soon then she will feel like the only human on this planet, she would become completely transparent. All of her crimes and secrets will show up and she will rot in hell. Nobody will ever even think, of helping her. You can never change a monster, Y/N, never.”
She stares at me for a while and then looks away. The air was filled with aroma of the potted plants behind us.
“Do you wanna know what Myeong-oh’s dream was?”
“What?”
“To become rich.”
She began eyeing me from the side when we burst into laughters. When was the last time I laughed like this?
We took a breather to stop ourselves from more laughing. It was quite hilarious how Myeong-oh dreamt of becoming rich yet here he is, working as Jae-joon’s lackey.
“Alright then. I guess I’ll see you on the awards day.”
“Yeah.”
We went back the same way we came to the roof. Climbed down the little flight of stairs and got into an elevator to the ground floor.
I saw her out and got her a cab. As I went up to my apartment, I was thinking of how I could have told her about the meeting I had with Myeong-oh few days ago. I will tell her when the timing is right. I bribed him enough to keep him in suspense—he will also be the one to know who murdered Yoon So-hee, hopefully.

The love interest in the glory is so great. Cutest little sweetie pie guy around. Little bit dead behind the eyes sometimes, though. But still super cute! and a romantic! And so supportive! Graphically day dreams about murder and revenge while helping a forlorn, traumatised older woman learn to love again. All the while supporting her intense and extreme revenge plans! Happy to play executioner! Sets up a tent in the living room and makes fondue! What a guy...

“when you play go, you pursue your desires in silence. you seduce, and you fall. you strip each other bare. and if your partner doesn't reciprocate, then it's just a game of go.”
go as an overarching symbol throughout the glory, both figuratively as a representation of dongeun’s revenge, and also as a metaphor for class and relations (between her and the men in her life, i.e. yeojeong and doyeong).
on a relational level, go is a game of seduction. it’s a mental sword dance, so to speak. dongeun learns it with revenge in mind - she plans to catch the interest of doyeong, the husband of the girl who destroyed her life. she uses go to approach him - she seduces him the very first time he sees her play, so much that he can’t get her out of his head. she uses go to entice him; she wins before he even knows that he’s playing.
dongeun learns go for the purposes of ensnaring doyeong, but it’s yeojeong who first teaches her go at all. and it’s go that becomes a cornerstone of their burgeoning relationship as well. throughout the seasons, go helps both of them, as something that centers them, tethers them to current life. for yeojeong, his sessions mentoring dongeun in go were the only thing that created a schedule for him in his most turbulent time (after his father died, etc.). it becomes their mode of communication - he asks her to make a play so that he can know she came by. a silent way of saying i’m alive.
and then there’s dongeun approaching doyeong to play go, then them meeting again at the park he designed. yeojeong also approaches doyeong to play go, also purposefully - the man who taught dongeun vs the man she learned to play for.
but for dongeun, go is never about the men so much as it is about herself. go becomes something she loves for what it is, a game that builds territories, a game where the enemy can be slowly and methodically destroyed as you take all their territories, like how she plans to take everything from yeonjin. it reminds her of the dreams of being an architect she had before she had to drop out of school from the bullying/assault.
doyeong says that one of his go teachers tells him that he was born holding the black stones. when dongeun plays with yeojeong for the first time, she says she has to start with the white stones, since she’s the beginner. that’s how they play, for months. when doyeong meets dongeun after finding out the beginnings of the truth, he says that this game is more difficult than the ones he’s played in the past (and she beats him, the first time they play prior to that meeting).
the black stones represent the upper hand, the wealthy. it’s a class metaphor, especially when related to doyeong. yeojeong also starts out with the black stones, maybe because of wealth, maybe because he’s learned it for far longer. maybe because life was kinder to him. dongeun starts at the bottom, with the white stones, because she has nothing and knows nothing.
but when she places her first stones on the go board, she plays with the black.

While watching The Glory I honestly didn’t expect Yeo Jeong to be a fully developed character. I thought he’d just be a slightly unhinged love interest. Dong Eun is traumatized and isolated to a severe degree. A love interest completely dedicated to her and her alone makes sense. She deserves a bit of a treat, and there’s no other type of person she’d ever trust at her initial stage.
I was wrong. Yeo Jeong is those things but it’s explained and sensible. He’s also traumatized and fucking unhinged. He understands her pain. People will wax poetic about love at first sight and soulmates but heaven forbid two people recognize the same brokenness in each other.
Their relationship is awkward and stiff. It should be. If these two had slept together, or had steamy scenes, I would’ve been annoyed. It doesn’t make sense. They don’t need tension, they need reliability and genuine connection. It hurt my soul, but Dong Eun left for 6 months and she knew he’d still be there waiting. She left to help him, but still.
Not all relationships need bubbly feelings. Some need slowness. Some need distance. They have chemistry, but it’s not the fiery tension that we’re used to. I can’t help but think about her walking in and swearing to be his sword. How she lived and gave up 6 months of her life for him and knew he’d still be there. That is some fucking certainty. Dong Eun needs someone like this. They’re insane weirdos.

its so funny to see this dynamic
Tumblr media
play out but these two bring a whole new level
Tumblr media
cuz we see again and again that Dong Eun, as relentless as she is to start and continue this plan, as calm and cold as she needs to be to execute it, as ruthless as she is to not feel any guilt for everything that happens to her abusers, wont harm anyone directly. yes, the plan ends up killing and destroying them, but never with her own hands, she is more inclined to let them do the work themselves, always, only themselves(even with her own mom! she plays the waiting game). the biggest proof of her mercy is giving Yeon Jin an out for Ha Do Yeong's single kind gesture. as we find out at the end, as broken and invisible she thought she is, Dong Eun is an inherently kind person who cant directly harm them.
this freak on the other hand spends day and night daydreaming stabbing the one person protected behind safety of prison bars(lets be honest at that point the bars arent protecting the people from that guy but him from Yeo Jeong) and is fully okay with killing anyone she asks as well. now you may be likely to take his entire, committed, likening himself to her Royal Executioner as simply just an expression of devotion, i get it since he doesnt end up doing that for her, but after watching the last episode i was convinced he didnt kill any of her abusers because she wouldnt have him do it.
see, his little speech to his prison bird just reveals an important piece of his psyche, he tells him his oath is to protect and save people but doesnt say anything about animals, inhumans, like him. meaning this guy has a mentality where at some point of immorality you lose your humanity in his eyes and become discarded. it is a line where he wont hesitate, he wont regret, he wont even have guilty dreams about the person he killed, maybe not even think about them again for the rest of his life. Light Yagami ass views. he doesnt ask Dong eun if she killed Miyoung-o cuz he literally doesnt give a shit. not a single question mark on his mind. hes like "if she dids it she dids it, if she didnst it she didnst it" and thats that.
and his insanity is written so well, all of his scenes with Dong Eun's abusers were tense as shit. because while you dont know how dangerous he really is till the last speech, in all of them his mere entering of their spaces is threatening, he either has them under his knife or under his car, even his first meeting with Ha Do Yeong is invading, not the park he frequents, no, its invading his mind. he leaves that meeting with the information of what kind of a person he is, enough to make a dead on prediction of his step-by-step behavior. he is smiling and cracking jokes through the interactions but YOU, the viewer, are aware there is something wrong with him.
when he buys that funeral home i was fully expecting him to fill it with corpses himself. in retrospect, that plot would have been too taxing on Dong Eun and im not sure she would ever let herself live after that but cant see Yeo Jeong being too bothered to be honest.
