Childish moves

Chisaki family au. Dont like it, dont read it.

He heard from afar as he walked on the halls with a book on hand. He sighed but still continued walking towards the living room where the song was coming from.

Having two kids made him accostumize with the loud and even feel uncomfortable when it was way too quiet... sometimes at least. So it was better for him to be on the same ambient as his kids and prevent them from hurting themselfs then to read on a silent room and end up having to hear cries and almost have a heart attack.

Although when he entered he widened his eyes at seing both his kids AND wife, stretching and ocassionaly dancing in the middle of the room in front a T.V. Poor you was sweating already but with a huge smile on your face as Kin bounced on the place as Kaito had a serious and concentrating face towards the T.v and following the most correctly he could the steps.

"DOSKOI!" You exclaimed along as the kids jumped with their hands in the air with laughter. He shoked his head at it and carefully made his way to the couch to sit and start to read his book.

He ocassionaly looked up and smiled at the scene of his three most special persons just enjoying their selfes on just a stupid exercising song... Yet the sign was way too adorable for his own sake.

Suddenly you leaned to pick the remote and paused the song and fell with your back on the couch and butt on the floor with a exausted sigh as yours kids whined and went to you.

"Mama pweaseee? One more?" Your two years old daughter whined while shaking your arm as Kaito patted and carresed your head and arm as a signal of comfort.

"I would love to kiddos but mommy is just exausted..." you panted as Kai arched an eyebrow at you from his seat, book still on his lap.

"For how long exactly you submitted yourself to this?" He mentioned towards the T.v as you giggled tiredly.

"I guess it was for two hours or so..." you panted before looking up at your husband with a smile "The kids loved this song."

"Is great for exercising." Kaito looked at his father with the same deadpanned look but still carresing you.

"Considering that you three are sweating like pigs then yeah." He arched his eyebrow at his son before the kid gasped in offense.

He smirked at that as he turned one of his pages as you finally found strengh enough to lift yourself up to sit on the couch.

"You all need to take a bath." He stated nonchantly and already heard the whines of his kids... he has already expected.

"One more time!" Kin whined while shaking your leg as you whined, feeling the wish to satisfy your daughter but your body didn't allowed you to.

"Kin. You mother is tired." Kai stated simply as Kaito suddenly snapped his fingers.

"Dance with us daddy!" Kaito poked his father's leg as Chisaki slowly lifted his gaze up from his book with a begrudily look.

"Pardon?" He didn't like one bit the sound of your snorts and muffled laughs from his side. "No. I will not do such a thing." He grunted before he felt a poke again only to be met with the most cursed thing.

His two kids pouting and the dammed puppy dog eyes.

"No." He growled and almost lose it when Kaito sniffled and Kin whined.

"Pwease papa?? Pweaseee?" The little girl curled her little hands on his knees while boucing up and down slowly.

"Mommy always do this with us.." Kaito mumbled and he was already scowling. He tried to ask for help to his wife but guess what? You were just giggling and encouraging them to have him to dance along with them.

"... ai despise you three so much sometimes." He growled before snapping his book closed and got up with a grunt as your two kids gleamed and exclaimed in joy to finally convince their dad to tag along.

"Mama mama do the thing! Do the thing!" Kin exclaimed with a toothless smile as you giggled and picked the remote. Whiel this Kaito went and dragged his father to be on the middle of him and his little sister.

"Sweetu dont you think is better to take that thing off?" You giggled whiel gesturing to your own face to poin it out his mask as he narrowed his amber eyes at you.

"You're enjoying this, arent you?" He growled while carefully taking his black mask off and handing it to you.

"Absolutelly." You giggled at his glare and picked the remote. "Ready?" The kids yelled a confirmation as your husband only deadpanned at them before rolling his golden eyes.

"Pudding pudding taishou hajimaru yo~!" You said along with the miss on the video clip as the Kin did a little wiggle as Kaito stretched his arms up in the air.

The scene was priceless. Kai was an amazing dancer with you, but with those the poor man was a disaster. Occasionally he would insult the video while clumsily coping the moves as Kaito laughed and kin giggled at their father.

It didn't take much for Kai to get comfortable with his kids and do the moves correctly along with them. You picked silently your phone to record to even show Pops later. Kai had still the same serious and poker face as usual while dancing to the kids song.

"DOSKOI!" Kin and Kaito yelled in glee while jumping with the arms up in the air.

"... doskoi." Kai did the same, and you let out a laugh with the tone of voice he used compare to the enthusiastic choir of your son and daughter.

Suddenly Ki looked over his shoulder, luckily you had stopped recording, and looked back at his two kids before shaking his head with a smirk and continuing dancing along with them.... eventually you said screw to your tired muscles and went along with them.

Puddi puddi puddi puddi puddi puddiding!

"The fuck?" Mimic muttered as Chrono looked at him with the same look. They left their own work behind to follow the music until they heard the monotonous voice of Chisaki speaking.

"Doskoii." Soon followed the laughter of his kids and wife laughing as (Y/n) took the turn to sing. They peaked and found the four in front of the T.v... dancing... a child's song.

You exclaimed with the hands in the air as Kin let out her baby laughter as Kaito laughed when his father picked both of them up to put on his shoulders.

Mimic soon bursted out in laughter as Chrono followed along. Making Kai stop dead on his moves as the Chisakis looked over at them.

"A-Apoligies-!" Chrono snorted on his hand as Mimic howled in laughter, rolling on the ground "But is that really you? Chisaki?" Hari laughed after he managed to mutter the question.

The song continued on the ground as Kai glared at them before his kids laughed on his shoulder while he mantained a grim grip when he turned back and continued.

"Is a exercise idiots. And my childs are having fun at least. Now get out before I knocked you two out cold..." he put Kin and Kaito down only for them to yell the chorus of the song.

"...Keeki mo kaachatta..." he sighed and smirked at his wife giggling at him before continuing the sing for him as his kids danced excitedly to the song.

"How long are we here?" You giggled on his ear as he shrugged.

"Five minutes and you're helping me with their bath." He muettered nonchantly as he send you a glare for giggling.

"You're such a softie hon!"

"Shut your mouth." He winced at the kick he received from his son as he pouted.

"Dont be rude with mommy." The boy said in the same nonchantly tone he almost used as he deadpanned as you snorted.

"Is your son." You manage to giggle as he rolled his eyes with a smirk.

Now, for me, my first question seeing song choices is, "Are these good solo songs?" We've seen in the past that some songs are just not written to be solos. There's no time to properly breathe. Since none of these girls will have a handy backing track that gives them a spot to breathe, I wish they would stay away from those choices!!! This year, for me, those songs are: 1. Okamura Minami - Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun (Morning Musume) <-- I just............ idk about this as a solo. Idk man. 7. Eguchi Saya - Hatsukoi Cider (Buono!) 9. Shimakura Rika - Fiesta! Fiesta! (Juice=Juice) <-- love this song but I know from singing it myself that breathing can be hard) 13. Doi Rena - Aitai Aitai Aitai na (C-ute) 14. Kanemitsu Ruru - Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai (Morning Musume) <-- this is my #4 girl... refer to kono chikyuu 17. Nakayama Natsume - Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun da yo! (Morning Musume) <-- this is my #2 girl but this doesn't usually work as a solo--duet or more 20. Hibi Marina - Fantasy ga Hajimaru (Morning Musume) 21. Matsubara Yuriya - Shunrenka (Tsubaki Factory) <-- it's hard enough to keep up with the chorus solos + chorus, and adding in that she's a newbie... D: Good luck, Yuriya!! 22. Kanatsu Mizuki - Watashi, Choito Kawaii Urabanchou (S/mileage) 23. Ota Haruka - Moonlight Night ~Tsukiyo no Ban da yo~ (Morning Musume) 27. Yamada Ichigo - Daisuki Dakara Zettai ni Yurusanai (Morning Musume) <-- THIS IS MY GIRL. BUT GIRL. THIS IS A DUET. WITH HARMONIES. AND YOU HAVE NO BACKING TRACK. Honestly, this will be fine but I'm bummed because I'd love to have her do this with a harmony track she recorded :( 30. Kubota Nanami - Wagamama Ki no Mama Ai no Joke (Morning Musume) <-- she generally is not a good singer so...this will be very interesting with the breathing + how high it goes

So those are the ones that have me going, NO. REPICK YOUR CHOICE.

Now for the ones I'm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! about. 4. Inoue Hikaru - Munasawagi Scarlet (Berryz Koubou) Now, I don't like Hikarun. She's not my type of idol in any way. However, I feel like this will fit her voice a lot and she will sound excellent. This is someone picking the right song for themselves, however not stepping outside the box!

9. Shimakura Rika - Fiesta! Fiesta! (Juice=Juice) Rika is my unloved but talented bean. I'm excited to hear how well she does singing. Her dancing is great. Her visuals are great and her singing is surprising but can she handle such a powerful song? I look forward to finding out!

15. Yamazaki Yuhane - Arashi wo Okosunda Exciting Fight! (C-ute) Yes. That's all I need to say. Yuhane. Always. Delivers.

16. Yamazaki Mei - Wonderful World (English Ver.) (Juice=Juice) I'm sorry. ENGLISH??? WHAT? AT A TEST????????? GIRL??????? OK. OK. I'm here for this.

19. Shutto Anna - LOVE Namida Iro (Matsuura Aya) IDK why but I feel like this is going to be the one that makes everyone go O_O WOAH

20. Hibi Marina - Fantasy ga Hajimaru (Morning Musume) While this is not a solo song, Marina surprises me every freaking time so I'm genuinely hyped to hear her vocals on this. I'm expecting her to run out of breath but...if her cut has the end...... I'm very prepared.

24. Matsunaga Riai - FIRST KISS (Aa!) OK. OK. Let's see how you handle the sexiness, you tiny and precious bean.

27. Yamada Ichigo - Daisuki Dakara Zettai ni Yurusanai (Morning Musume) This might be horrible for abovementioned reasons, but this is my bean who I adore. I refer to her as Mini Riho so I have good vibes about this, regardless of the harmony thing.

29. Yonemura Kirara - Inshouha Renoir no You ni (Elegies) Kirara is like Marina in that she surprises me every time. This is an excellent song and I can't wait to hear her sing it. Especially since she tends to go toward the cute side with her expressions--bring on the srs sexiness, qurl!

Overall, my top 5 KSS at this time (now that Momoko is gone......I’m not bitter...............) are as follows, so, of course, I’m extremely excited to hear them!

1. Yamada Ichigo 2. Nakayama Natsume 3. Yamazaki Yuhane 4. Kanemitsu Ruru 5. Yamazaki Mei (I’ma be real, for me it’s more like a top 10, so pls throw Rena, Marina, Kirara, Anna and Mizuki in there too...) That’s all! What are your thoughts?

Manga the Week of 6/16/21

SEAN: We’re having a heat wave! A manga heat wave!

ASH: I certainly much prefer one of those things over the other.

SEAN: Airship has two debuts. The first we’ve talked about before: I Swear I Won’t Bother You Again! is now out in print. I really enjoyed this look at a villainess who suffers depression.

ASH: Oh, that could be interesting. (I’m paying more attention know that it’s available in print.)

SEAN: The other debut is digital first: Reincarnated As a Dragon Hatchling (Tensei Shitara Dragon no Tamago Datta ~ Saikyou Igai Mezasenee ~). He’s a baby dragon, but he’ll grow up to be… (deep breath) the strongest ever!

Also out next week: Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! 13 (early digital), The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter 4 (print) and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation 11 (print).

Dark Horse has a 3rd Deluxe Edition of Hellsing.

Ghost Ship gives us World’s End Harem 11.

J-Novel Club has two digital debuts. Guide to the Perfect Otaku Girlfriend: Roomies and Romance (Dousei kara Hajimaru Otaku Kanojo no Tsukurikata) has a description that makes it sound like Grooming: The Light Novel, but I suspect is probably pretty tame.

The other debut is Reincarnated as the Piggy Duke: This Time I’m Gonna Tell Her How I Feel! (Buta Koushaku ni Tensei Shitakara, Kondo wa Kimi ni Suki to Iitai). We all know light novel authors love to make their petty noble villains short, ugly, etc. What if he was an anime character, and now our hero was trapped reincarnated as him? Well, maybe he can actually shape up and stop being a villain. Again, this comes highly recommended.

ASH: This one has slipped under my radar up until now.

SEAN: We also see Are You Okay With a Slightly Older Girlfriend? 3, Fushi no Kami: Rebuilding Civilization Starts With a Village 4, The Ideal Sponger Life 3, Mapping: The Trash-Tier Skill That Got Me Into a Top-Tier Party 5, and the 18th and final volume of Outbreak Company.

Kaiten Books has a 3rd print volume of Loner Life in Another World.

In print, Kodansha has Chobits 20th Anniversary Edition 4, Knight of the Ice 6, Perfect World 6, A School Frozen in Time 2, Star⇄Crossed!! 2, and Those Not-So-Sweet Boys 3.

ANNA: I’m very excited for Knight of the Ice, I’m thoroughly enjoying that series.

ASH: This is a good week for Kodansha in print!

Digitally our debut is Undead Girl Murder Farce, involving a supernatural detective with a very creepy cage. It’s from Shonen Sirius.

Also: Blue Lock 4, A Girl and Her Guard Dog 5, The Honey-Blood Beauty & Her Vampire 3, Medalist 2, We’re New at This 7, and Will It Be the World or Her? 6.

One Piece has the manga edition of The Reprise of the Spear Hero – Vol. 4, to be precise.

Seven Seas has Even Though We’re Adults 2 and Made in Abyss Official Anthology – Layer 2: A Dangerous Hole.

ASH: Somehow, I actually haven’t read the first volume of Even Though We’re Adults yet, but that’s not going to stop me from picking up the second.

SEAN: I don’t even know where to begin with Viz. They’re finally doing a nice, non-Gutsoon version (if you don’t know what Gutsoon was, ask your father) of Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken). If Shonen Jump in the early 1980s was defined by Dragon Ball, this was its other half – an ultra-serious, ultra-violent apocalypse adventure with more exploding limbs than anyone can really handle. It’s in 2-volume omnibuses. It’ll be a treat.

MICHELLE: I’m grateful I finally get the opportunity to check this out!

ANNA: I’m so old, I have a few of the early Viz translated American comic sized issues from way back in the day.

ASH: I cannot adequately express how incredibly excited I am that this series is finally getting a proper English-language print release.

SEAN: There’s also a ton of final volumes. We get 20th Century Boys Perfect Edition 1… erm, 12 (not sure what’s going on there), Blue Flag 8, and RWBY The Official Manga 3.

MICHELLE: I believe this is the final volume of Blue Flag, also.

SEAN: Yes, that’s why I said “ton of final volumes”. :)

MICHELLE: I am inobservant!

ANNA: I need to get caught up on Blue Flag, it is very good.

ASH: That it is.

SEAN: Also coming out: Golden Kamuy 22, Maison Ikkoku Collector’s Edition 4, and Ooku the Inner Chambers 18.

MICHELLE: Ooku!

ANNA: Ooku too!

ASH: Yes, Ooku!

SEAN: Lastly, a trio of titles from Yen Press: The Case Study of Vanitas 8, Dead Mount Death Play 5, and Triage X 21.
