#I added that detail last minute and my poor government laptop was about to explode from the amount of layers that I was using– #it wasn't even that much! just uhh 95 I think?? Uhm uh uh...I have no excuse for this 😔 PPG self insert who is secretly an alien! I imagine her intro episode would have her having a little romance with the professor when he comes into a bookstore she works at/owns and the girls being (rightfully, given the prof's dating history) suspicious of her. Wacky capers ensue where they try to prove that she's up to no good, only to find that she genuinely is just chilling and wants to live a normal life on earth!

#Doodles #Wander Over Yonder #Wander #Sylvia #Lord Hater #Ahhh ♥ Finally the results of my scribbly warmups coming to fruition #I wanted to make a comparison of how on-model I could get everyone first - thus the doubles from the last set as well #Yeah some of those were meant to be a bit wilder....like I said those were my warmups lol here's where things started getting good #It was still an uphill battle but Wander was where I broke - after his big ol' pile'a sketches anyhow. They weren't quite what I was after #But after a point I just got double mad and started making up weird shapes! #And ended up happy with them :D #He looks quite different but I rather like all those aspects of him haha #Squinty eyes and claws and sharp teeth and a bit of a mullet haha #He's a hippy he deserves a mullet as a treat #And a pipe for good measure #And then if Wander was fun Sylvia was on another level <3 #She has something of a Thraddash thing going for her which was not what I intended especially since I've never drawn a Thraddash #But I mean I'm not mad about it lol the Thraddash are pretty cool :) #I think her bottom lip is the real deciding factor there - it's a cool overlap shape! nimona did a far better trans allegory than the supposed one in across the spider-verse. the fear and violence towards her aberrant body/existence was the literal foundation of their society and nimona spends the whole film dealing with that history. she is degendered, demonized, and the call for her extermination, painted as morally necessary and just, permeates everywhere. and even if someone is fine with her, like bal, it tends to be highly conditional: she needs to be easily legible as a girl for their comfort, and her shapeshifting has to be peripheral and unobtrusive.

she also calls for the destruction of their systems meanwhile gwen becomes a cop so yeah i'll take this trans girl instead
