it was probably brought up before, but I'm becoming pretty convinced: no one besides lenore can't hear the raven talk.

lenore now have had multiple encounters with the raven, first being all the way back in the first episode. I've seen some people speculating that she's the only one that can see him, because every time he disappears right before someone else sees him. and although I don't really vibe with this idea, I'm actually pretty sure that lenore is the only person who can hear the raven.

no matter which panel we're looking at, it's fairly noticeable that the raven doesn't really speak. like, he doesn't open his beak to utter word. and his creepy speech bubbles only add up to the feeling that he uses some kind of telepathy to communicate.

it's especially clear on the second picture here: when the raven opens his mouth, he's simply croaks. lenore hears him talking and laughing, but from the side it looks like this bird just makes bird noises.

I'm not sure what that means for the story and the character, but excited for how the plot will unwrap. I genuinely have no idea why would lenore be different from other students and what the raven was implying, but... we'll see, I guess.

not to be dramatic or anything but i find it super frustrating when fans dilute geto's arc to just "he turned evil." maybe i am biased from already reading the manga but i feel like season 2 should have made it extremely obvious that him going rogue was the culmination of enduring years of intense trauma and constantly questioning both himself and the system he was being exploited by. jujutsu society is built on young sorcerers being trained by emotionally distant mentors and then sent out on borderline suicide missions over and over until they eventually never make it back. geto probably knew this, but with gojo at his side and his own exceptional skill, he was full of confidence. he believed he and gojo could do anything they wished. he believed they could maybe do some good, if not change the world a little. watching riko be brutally murdered in front of him after he promised he would go against orders and save her was a rude awakening. watching nanami spiral in his grief and guilt after haibara died, alone and without a supportive teacher or adult in sight, was a rude awakening. watching gojo continue to ascend to an inhuman level in pursuit of becoming stronger (and probably somewhat influenced by his own regret over riko) was a rude awakening. finding mimiko and nanako was his limit. he couldn't bring himself to justify his place or his work in the jujutsu world anymore. he needed there to be a different way for himself and those he cared about to live, and he felt the only way to accomplish that was to create a new world entirely. of course he took it much too far and what he did wasn't right, but the path he chose was not chosen lightly and it definitely didn't happen overnight. he didn't just wake up and decide to become the "villain." he was tired of watching people die for nothing and he was tired of telling himself that was acceptable.
