the other day I was playing ultrakill and my cybergrind score landed next to someone on the leaderboard with a profile pic that was commissioned from you and I think being able to identify that from a crunchy 32x32 png without having seen the actual picture in question before is possibly the most furry thing to happen to me it was the cheerleader pic for kamenriderhamo great art

Such wonderful little things happen as Crow leans in closer to the Guardian. Their brightly burning eyes close, he can feel their familiar smell, he can almost see the distorted reflection of himself in the plating of the Guardian's Exo face. And their lips, so close...

That is the moment when a small laugh escapes from Crow's own lips.

The Guardian looks at him, quizzical.

"I've... never done this before," Crow confesses, feeling the burning flare of blush in his cheeks. "The kissing."

The Guardian joins in the soft laughter. There is such reassurance in their face, such trust in their smile. And hints of sweet romance in the gentle touch as their fingertips push Crow's hair back behind his ear.

They lean in boldly, and Crow feels all of his soul depart when their lips meet.

It is... an experience.

He has no time to wonder what it would be like to kiss a being of flesh like himself, for he is too busy figuring out what to do. Moving his lips and trying not to laugh from romantic delirium. Searching for places to rest his hands on, until the Guardian's hand gathers both of his against their chest and holds.

And the kiss continues. Crow takes a little while longer to figure it out, and then... he rather likes it. The subtle iron taste. The soft pressure of artificial lips. The absence of tongue makes it all the more interesting when Crow attempts to press deeper, finding nothing to play with.

But he likes it.

They pull away what feels like hours later. Disoriented and with his lips tingling, Crow looks up at the Guardian almost shyly, as if he did not just attempt to kiss the Light out of them a moment ago.

"Was that... good?" he asks, brushing his hair away as if trying to hide the streak of shy embarassment for a split second.

The Guardian smiles at him. They lean in to peck him on the lips again, and Crow fights not to let a single quiet moan escape from his mouth at that.

But that tells him enough. The Guardian did like it. And in the peck was a certain promise of more kisses to come.

In my headcanon, they attended separate schools but shared a passion for archery. Both excelled in competitions, reaching the state finals where fate brought them together. Their initial encounter sparked a friendly rivalry, but as they spent more time together, their relationship blossomed into a genuine friendship.

Bertholdt started attending Sasha's cooking competitions, supporting and cheering her on, while Sasha reciprocated the gesture by showing up to cheer for Bert during his Tennis or Golf matches. This mutual support and shared interests strengthened their bond, turning them into friends and eventually into lovers.
