Sneak peek of my MegaCon debuting "Orange Blossoms" painting with fellow artist Carrie Hawks @tigerpixieart ! This original painting (and prints, canvases & free giveaway pins!) will debut THIS WEEK at MegaCon Orlando (May 24-27th, I'll be there every day) at the Orange County Convention Center. I'll be at booth 1048 (a big 30 foot booth all for me!) and Carrie will be there too at booth 8FA so you can get your print signed by BOTH of us if you come in person ;) We'll also have them up at our websites after the event. The original painting will be hanging at my booth. It's a 14x11" original acrylic painting on panel, will be beautifully framed, and priced at $3800. Interested in purchasing the original painting? Email me at [email protected] with the subject line ORANGE BLOSSOMS ORIGINAL. We'll be taking down collector names in the order in which they are received. Please note - as this painting is a MegaCon debut, we do have to give preference to collectors attending the convention in person. Pensacon was this past weekend. It was a good show! I saw a lot of familiar faces and met a lot of new people too. Thank you so much to all of you that were able to come out to see me. I really appreciate your support. Everyone really loved my new painting too so that was nice. I’m sorry I haven’t posted about my new painting and also Pensacon anywhere other than my Patreon yet because things have been kind of crazy the past couple weeks. I’ll be making another post about this very soon. Everything with the show went smoothly with actual load in and set up. Everyday of the show day was good too. This loadout was our fastest time ever so that was great too. I am very glad to have my only show of the year out-of-the-way! Now I am free to work on things. “Jade Dragon Li Mao” Rough Sketch 🐲😻🎊 You don’t know how happy I am to have this rough sketch to share! I been sharing my progress on my Patreon the past few weeks. Please follow me there if you’d like to see more updates. You can follow me on Patreon for free! The 2nd pic is Sweet Pixie was supervising me drawing. She’s feeling so much better now. The 3rd pic is the color scheme I’ve decided on. The cat is a Dragon Li, it looks like a brown tabby, and is considered to be the unofficial national cat of China. The dragon will be mostly shades of green and plain wood color and have woodgrain texture. The 4th pic is cute Kazu helping me color my sketch. I’m going to paint this piece. This is my second Chinese New Year’s piece. The last one was in 2020, “Cherry Blossoms” with The Year of the White Rat. 2024 is The Year of the Green Wooden Dragon. I hope that you like my sketch and I’ll post some Work in Progress pics once I start painting.

"Hestia Goddess of Hearth". I think she looks so cute! I went with the classic description of Hestia, wearing modest clothing and a veil over her head. In an ancient Greek painting of her she's holding 4 flowers so I have her holding 4 flowers too. They associate Purple Coneflowers with her so that's what these flowers are. She also has a bowl of fire so I put that on the ground next to her. One of her colors is Lavender so I'm thinking that Pale Lavender would be a good color for her dress. I think it would look really pretty with her being an adorable ginger kitty & the darker purple flowers & the fire reflecting up at her. Xoxo! Carrie
