"For us? And you picked a nice one too! " He grinned and immediately grabbed it. "A Devil's Trumpet! I'll ask Mikey to put it in a vase, we don't want him accidentally using it for a new recipe, but the kitchen counter could certainly use some purple-"

"Actually, I think that's for us," 12!Donnie snatched the flower with a pointed look. "Since the story is still currently on our side of the multiverse, this offer is obviously meant for-"

"You wish this flower would be intended to your obviously inferior world-"

"It's got nothing to do with that! It's just logical."

"Don't even try to bullshit and claim it's logic, that's MY thing-"

"ARE YOU TWO GETTING ALONG OVER THERE!"

"YES!" they both answered in unison, grinning and linking arms like the best buddies on Earth, as they both grabbed onto the stem of the flower.

Rad squinted suspiciously. "Uh-huh, I have an eye on you guys- oh, what a pretty flower! Is that for us?"

EF!Raph, who had watched the exchange while slowly stepping back simply nodded.

"Hey, thank you! It's so cute, I wonder what kind of flower is-"

"Devil's Trumpet." Both Donnie's answered in unison before exchanging sideway glares.

Rad hummed and took the flower from them-

And ate it.

"Thanks for the snack, other Raph!" Rad muttered obliviously while both Donnie's stared with growing horror. "And sorry about them, please ignore these bozos-"

"Raph that was poisonous."

"They mean no harm- what."

"Why would you eat it, oohhh why, oh no."

"Ok, so there's a 60-40 chance Draxum accounted for that scenario-"

"No wait, why would a flower be poisonous!?" Rad huffed. "They're so pretty!"

"The real question here is why would you eat it-?"

EF!Raph slowly escaped from the accidental soon-to-be-crime scene, because even if Rad resulted to be inmune, it was obvious the two purple turtles would end up fighting each other.

A little bit of a thingy to celebrate Universal Collision's achievement in getting into the polls hosted by @tmntaucompetition. Has a bit of a self insert to be warned but it's for a reason. Anyways as usual the 12 boys go by their full names and the Rise boys go by their nicknames. Also there's vague mentions of aus, didn't go into full details though cuz I didn't feel too comfortable with doing that lol. Hope y'all enjoy-

Nervous excitement.

That was the only thing that the writer could really describe her current feelings on what she and her boys were experiencing. A competition for different aus had been announced and in a twist her au had been placed into the ring. And by some strange stroke of luck, it'd managed to get into the finals. Which led the Universal Collision group to their current position. Surrounded by vast and fantastical aus. There were many, from future families to ghosts who haunted younger turtles, to twins and future apocalyptic ones. It was rather surreal to say the least. Mikey stared at the groups, taking them in, in his excited wonder, Michelangelo not too far behind him. The two orange turtles were practically buzzing with giddiness at being apart of something so big. Not too far behind the two youngest turtles, Donatello and Donnie seemed to be observing and taking notes of all the different turtles. Quietly and excitedly discussing all the alternate timelines and universes that were all in one place.

Leonardo and Raph were watching the purple and orange turtles, making sure that they weren't doing anything to disturb the fellow alternates. Apologies from the large snapper as well as a small look from the blue clad leader was heard and seen, as they made their way through and passed the others. And finally trailing behind them was Raphael and Leo, and the writer herself. Leo was awed by the sights he was seeing, taking in every single detail he could.

"Holy pizza-! There's ghosts here! And there's mermaid turtles and baby turtles and-"

Leo was chatting a mile a minute, pointing at the different versions of themselves and their counterparts. He seemed to have caught the hyperactive energy from his little brother and Michelangelo, bouncing around in place as he took everything in. Raphael meanwhile didn't say much, instead quietly obversing the others, and keeping a close eye his personal group. He noticed that the person next to him, the writer was quiet. He watched as she looked around, obviously thrilled yet nervous about what was to come. Raphael as well as the others knew that she hadn't expected to be included in this fun little experience. And they knew that she was thrilled as well as honored that Universal Collision had somehow made it. So to see her being so quiet made Raphael suspicious. With a small huff, the red clad turtle nugged her shoulder causing her to look up at him curiously.

"Ya know that we're gonna do good in this right? Our group wouldn't have gotten in, in the first place if we didn't have something to offer. So quit being all nervous, and stick your chin up. We're gonna do great."

Raphael stated already cutting to the point. He knew that being blunt was the best way to go. The writer blinked at him once, before a small smile came onto her face, the nervousness that surrounded her leaving in no time.

"You're right. We'll do great, and if we don't win this then at least we'll have fun seeing the others. Plus you boys will always be winners in my book."

The writer chirped, beaming a bit. Raphael gave her an embarrassed look, flustered by her honesty. Before he somewhat shoved her gently, scoffing a bit with a somewhat playful look.

"Alright, alright don't get sappy now. You're gonna end up sounding like Leo at this rate."

He chided a bit, thinking of his older brother's own rare sappy moments. The writer just smiled once more and was about to say something back when she and Raphael were pulled into a hug on one side of Leo. The red eared slider was smirking obviously having figured out what was going on.

"We're gonna rock out there. We're always rocking the world wherever we go. Now, let's get back to the others before Raph and Lee go into parent mode."

The blue jokester said already dragging the duo back towards the group, which quickly greeted the trio upon their return. As the boys and their writer made their way through the vast crowds of all the magical and fascinating stories, the writer took one last look around before settling her gaze on her boys. A small, proud smile coming onto her freckled face.

'Yeah, we're gonna do great. No matter the outcome, we're gonna do a fantastic job.'

*I apologize if this is ooc, it was quick and small and I just wanted to get this written down. I'm honestly super excited and super nervous about this competition! There's so many amazing and talented people here and it's lowkey imitating to be quite honest lol. It's like being surrounded by celebrities, it's just a wild experience lol. Anyways I can't believe I actually wrote something ya proud of me? Ya proud of my cringe ma??? Anyways hope y'all enjoyed it!!! And please forgive me for the super insert cringe lol.*

I will announce the brackets/competitors around 7pm EST the next day.

Polls should start on 25 of June. Not sure about the time yet.

So. Cass' Apocalyptic Series by @somerandomdudelmao just ended.

I have many emotions none of which I can properly convey through words or anything. CAS itself has been a continuing beacon of creative light that's been lovely to see progress, and has inspired me through so many things, and I could go on about it but I cannot get into it without crying so I won't, I hope the sentiment comes across.

Cass did fanart of Ghost in the Shell HERE. It was like. I dunno. The third or fourth drawing of GitS I'd gotten from someone else? And the fact that Cass of all people had done it was like, wild to me at the time. I was still kind of reeling from the fact that people even liked my work at all? But Cass said it was good and I was like "oh damn must be good then" and kept writing. She also did THIS animation of Ghost which I still cry at whenever I watch it it's fine.

THEN THE PEEPAW POLLS HAPPENED. OH LORD. I made so many friends. I met so many people through that. I've never. In my life had this many people I could just talk to at any time. I never knew what to say either so I ended up just hanging out and getting dragged wherever the wind took me. It got me into doing polls in general!

Ghost made it to the FINAL ROUND??? Still confused about that. Then Uncle Tello won and Cass did a comic and I wrote something and I cried when I read the comic and I was still kind of processing so I ended up drawing something as well.

Then the next time GitS and CAS met was at the TMNT AU competition. It happened. Like almost DIRECTLY after Uncle Tello died in CAS so I was processing again and I do that through Ghost apparently so I drew a lil comic and wrote a lil somethin.

And then they never met again! But I like to think that some version of Ghost somewhere got to see the end.

GitS Part 2 has been kinda hard for me to write. I had to take a big break from it due to health stuff, and getting back into writing it wasn't as easy as before. And even after Part 2 is over, I still have the movie to do. My interest in TMNT is never going away, even after GitS I have other projects I want to finish, and that I've wanted to work on while writing GitS, but. y'know.

I'm determined to finish it. Drawing an x on my wrist. I really want to give Ghost the ending I've been imagining. And Cass has been someone really cool to look up to while I've been working on that.

So. Yeah. If Cass can get to the good ending, maybe I can do it too.

Y’all’ve prolly seen the line-up for the TMNT AU Competition, and it’s filled with a whole lot of really talented and awesome creators. Seeing so many people I admire up there might be a little anxiety inducing /j, but I’m so excited regardless of how far Sep might make it.

I’ll post more of the ‘ganda when my uhh..round?…bracket? is up (🫣 still not 100% on the proper terms for these things, as I was so busy during the Leo competition, I could only really enjoy the tail end of it) but just wanted to do a little something to wish everyone good luck and say, I hope everyone has a good time!

Maybe I’ll make my own short poll to see what kind of reward you guys would want if we get a few wins? Like, if y’all’d like some family fluff, some angst, maybe (work permitting) a larger next update, heck maybe I could even give it another go at a little side fic. Idk. I’m open to whatever, if we make it far enough!

Welp, I finished the first poll choice...

Summaries:

SDMI/FNAF: Based on this post, the gang is hired to investigate the rumors of a bunny animatronic ghost overnight. The truth is a little more tricky.

LMK: Tangled AU where Long Xiaojiao has been kept locked in a tower under the watchful eye of her “uncle” and “the Lady”, only desiring to get out and see the world, especially lanterns that appear on her birthday. However, things change when Qi Xiaotian, heir to Sun Wukong, comes looking for the missing piece of the Samadhi fire.

Scooby Doo, my incarnation: The first part of Episode 1, when trying to leave their hometown of Crystal Cove to start their second year of college, the Mystery Gang finds themselves trapped in Crystal Cove.

Poppy Playtime: The moment that the angel steps into the factory, every toy knows. Dogday, down below, hopes.

Set sometime before Agony of a Witch, Raine Whispers is sent to the weekly Coven Head meeting- which is basically just an excuse to hang out at a bar and bitch. They meet up again with Lilith, drinks are drunk, and Lilith ends up drunkenly confessing the truth about Eda’s curse to a less drunk Raine.

LMK/PP: Due to a misread address, a missent letter, and some poor decisions, Qi Xiaotian finds himself trapped in the depths of the Playtime Co. factory. But he’s not gonna let DogDay be stuck too.

@draw-of-the-moon's LMK/Ninjago AU: When Red mysteriously disappears, Long Xiaojiao and pregnant Qi Xiaotian have to beat back suitors.

LMK: The Traffic Light Trio, Sun Wukong, and Macaque are cursed to tell the truth. Harsh stuff comes out.

LMK: AU inspired by the King Thrushbeard fairytale, where Red Son refuses all suitors until his father decides to marry him off to the next peasant who walks through the door. Except Qi Xiaotian isn’t royalty, but very kind.

TMNT, my incarnation: April O'Neil makes a new friend when staying up late studying at the public library

TMNT, my incarnation: Related to 10, but the entire first episode. When the turtles make and suddenly lose a new human friend, the four turtles (and Casey) find themselves in a hidden city.

@draw-of-the-moon’s LMK/Ninjago AU: In a daring mission to rescue their baby sibs from the underworld and Samukai, Nya and Kai both find themselves lost in the outer regions of the underworld. A lone wanderer named Azure offers to help guide them.

WHOO, I finally had a couple hours to make a cover image thing for my little AU!

In case you don’t know, the Dee-Evolution AU is a TMNT 2012 AU that takes place sometime in season 2. A mission goes wrong, and Donatello ends up taking a hit from his own retro-mutagen. He’s returned to his natural turtle form, and his brothers are left to try and fix the situation without being able to rely on his brain.
