READ PHOTO FIRST If the 2nd scientist had said “I’ll have a glass of H2O, too,” it would've been heard as "H2O2", which is Hydrogen Peroxide, which you CAN NOT DRINK. YOU WILL DIE. this has been - shitty science jokes with Sort and Tom

And I feel solipsistic and afraid some of the time And I feel effervescent and lonely And I feel like an anxious anchor weight most of the time And I feel powerless to control me And I'm a paragon of honesty some of the time And I can hard emote if it wills me And I want to be everybody's friend all of the time And I think that one day it will kill me #song #music #hexachordal #goingoutagain #tommilsom

On Alex Day and the YouTube scandal:
I'm late to the party, but I've called a baby a parasite this week so I think that's worse than any opinions I'm about to write. I've read through everything that had happened, googled and read every blog post I could find, watched every YouTube response video, I've spent about 2 months thinking about this.
They did disgusting things to innocent people, and that is a fact. It is undeniable, inexcusable. They feel bad, don't worry. They most likely think about it every day.
Alex Day has not posted any content for 3 months. 1 week ago he liked this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3xf7HXYFYc
It isn't an apology, which is... good. It's him saying that he "won't let go" of what he's done, that his every flaw can be exposed, he's lost respect and he will let what he's done shape who he'll become, he'll be a better man.
These people literally owe us nothing. They owe apologies to the specific people they've hurt, which should be done in private. There are people commenting on this video saying they wanted it to be an apology: "oh no how dare a person make bad decisions, someone I've never met, they need to apologise to me because I've been wronged".
It makes me pretty sad that Alex's fist official activity for 3 months is liking this video. There is nothing that will excuse the actions, I'm not saying I agree with what he's done at all, and I think people need to realise that everyone screws up and makes bad decisions. If we look at the Bible, every sin is equal, a white lie hurts as much as a murder. If nobody forgave anyone when they made a mistake or hurt someone, everyone would be hated. What we need to do is accept that they know they've made bad decisions and realise that they're sorry and trying to become better people. How can we criticise others for trying to become better people when we ourselves are by no means perfect? We need to be as loving as we were before this happened.
My general view on this is that the people who commit these crimes have something psychologically wrong with them. The crimes are disgusting and horrible. It doesn't make the people bad. Doing something bad doesn't make you a bad person and these people need help to be rehabilitated, to be put on the right path again. Maybe I'm too liberal in that I don't believe in locking people away and capital punishment, I'm much more of an advocate for rehabilitation and education.
At the end of the day, YouTube is an act. Content creators put on the best side of themselves and we see what they want us to see. So I'm sure every YouTuber has done things they don't want to be revealed, it just so happens that they were in this case. We won't stop supporting and loving other YouTubers for their hidden bad decisions, and we should start supporting Edd, Tom and Alex (among others) so we can all move on.

Perhaps a good idea...
I see they have yet to change the age restrictions at vid con or put any additional safety procedures in place. I really think they should before this years event following the sexual abuse that has been identified in the youtube community. Maybe if lots of people suggest it then they might take it on board.

I hope that the lesson learned from the youtuber scandals is that if you’re famous you should only be in contact with people who don’t have internet access

Just like it makes you guys sad to see someone (in your opinion) defend a rapist, it makes me sad to see you guys so quickly believe this person with no proof talking about something that happened years ago. I can't believe one post is having such a huge affect on Tom's career before people even see both sides of the story.
If he really did abuse Olga, that's horrible, and it's not her fault. My interpretation of her posts and the way she's handling the situation, however, led me to believe otherwise. You can call me a horrible person for victim blaming all you want, but I don't believe she's a victim, and therefore I'm not victim blaming. Abuse is a serious issue and Olga seems to be taking this anything but seriously by posting graphic and disorganized stories, responding to asks sarcastically, joking about Olga Kay, and refusing to show evidence. A victim is never to blame for the abuse inflicted upon them, but Olga's story had led me to believe she's not a victim in this situation. Just like you guys are interpreting her stories to believe she is a victim and that's your choice, feel free to believe her. I just don't.

One of my old favorite musicians was recently accused of sexually and emotionally abusing one of his fans while he is 22 and she is 15. I'm extremely disappointed and sad. When I was younger I had always looked up to him. Now I don't think I'll be supporting him or his music.
