I asked someone if they wanted to RP Larvis and they asked why it's even a thing and all i said was sexual tension.

That’s honestly Laravis in a summary. Prepare for incoming headcanons.

Travis is the kid with just a fuck ton of internalized homophobia. It’s basically been groomed into his dna from his rocky home life and extreme religious affiliation.

Larry is this other kid with internalized homophobia. Not nearly anywhere at the same extreme as Travis, but it’s there. He’s that guy that knows something’s off, but can just push through life acting like he’s straight. (When in reality, he swings both ways.)

And then when Larry + Travis collide, there’s not much give from either. They’re just like these two rocks slamming against each other, neither breaking first. This is a BAD analogy but lemme retry.

Larry is this icky metalhead dude who smokes a lot and is overall just a headache to be around, at least to Travis. He disgusts him, makes bile rise in the back of his throat. While Travis is this over privileged sorry excuse for a bully that Larry absolutely hates. And whenever they’re in the same vicinity, it’s war. They just want the other to drop dead.

But, at the same time, they both share the same deadweight of being uncomfortable in their sexuality. And neither will admit it, but there’s something magnetizing about the other. No matter how hard they try to avoid each other, they just always end up back together. Probably their subconsciouses trying to tell them to work themselves out together.

But their both hardasses and neither is going to reach out to the other first. So it really is just this tension mounting until it finally breaks, and one of them just grabs the other by the shirt collar and smacks their lips together.
