By looking at his info, he has the scrapped power aspiration. He wanted to do more than just herding animals, but he never got to see that during his life as he died at a young age. Possibly due to an illness or a freak accident. He probably wanted to beat the reaper for his job because a being that could take the souls of the living is hella powerful. He ends up winning and takes over. If you've seen the sims medieval, you can see that this is the grim reaper from that spin off. I don't know I just don't see the two as the same reaper. That reaper's design is cool though

New mesh for TS2!

Here’s my pencil midi dress with low wedge sandals. Comes with 30 recolours (but really it’s just 19, because multiple top options for AF are repos). There are a few bright shades, flower pattern, dark colours and denim.

These meshes are not perfect, I may try and improve it at some point, but not anytime soon 😉.

As usual, I did what I could to minimize clipping. Well, I guess I could’ve minimized it even more if I had properly attached the legs to the bottom part [cough].  But, as you can see this dress can handle at least two dance moves so.. not bad? lol

Preg morph looks very decent. I didn’t think this mesh was gonna work well as pregwear, but it does.

I forgot to take a proper pic of the “fat” morph - sorry. It’s very similar, just more curves here and there.  

I took the sandals from TS2 H&M dress but then I decided I need something a bit more high-poly so I redid the straps and heels. Shoe / feet UVs are overlapping (mirrored left foot).

Toe nails are a part of the mesh.

Four strapless dresses are categorized as Formal only. The rest shown above is available as both Everyday & Formal.

Dresses below are set as Everyday, aside from that blue denim and black buttoned without a t-shirt.

Readme file includes instructions on how to set the category to Formal or Everyday in SimPe.

I used my recolours of Io’s top textures for most of these. Striped texture is my own. I’ve seen a tee like that somewhere, paired with denim pinafore dress - and just had to copy that idea.

of all of the dumb ideas i've had, this is certainly certainly one of them...

a (prototyped) AF ts2 bodyshape remapped to work with ts4 textures. featuring lilith's watermelon skins and a s3m skin i forgot which i'm sorry

anyway this started as wanting to figure out if it was possible to convert the ts4 hands to ts2 but have the mesh otherwise compatible... and it's probably possible but everything snowballed once I realized how bad the ts2 mapping is--

(why is there a UV seam through the nail of the thumb? why are the feet mapped like that? why are the arms split down the middle?)

--a-hem. anyway, and then i wanted to just see if it was possible to make a ts4 body compatible with ts2, but ts2 (i guess) predates some nifty advancements in rigging meshes and modern video game logic so the limbs just looked weird and bad and i eventually decided that i hated it.

i previously shared some some prototype testing from this stage

so the final step was just to redo the ts2 body mapping. obviously.

lmao the hands and feet alone are 2/3 the current polycount

so i cut off the hands and feet, bumped the overall polycount, smoothed some stuff out, lowered the poloycount on magicbot's high detailed ts4 feet, edited the ts4 hands to have 3d nails and completely rebuilt the thighs and calves because i clearly hate myself.

the current product is somewhere between the base ts4's and io's bodyshapes and if i was a smart woman i would have used the tattooer to help figure out the remapping but i am not a smart woman so it looks weird with some painted on clothing textures

so yeah. idk what's going to come of this, but it's been my pet project for the past month so maybe i'll take what i've learned from here and make compatible meshes for other ages and the male frame... but also this might just stay a fun experiment because idk if anyone besides me is going to be interested because this obviously is not compatible with anything in the game already but this is what i do instead of making usable cc lmao

but honestly, i'm currently sleep deprived but i learned a lot more about blender and weight painting and retopology doing this so it's not been a total waste

A TS2 throwback and a local

This first lot is the last one up there where EA had their ginormous spa lot - and right across the street from the hospital. They used to give out 25% off coupons for your ER visit after dining here, but it's now under new management, so the coupons are no longer valid. Or needed.

When we originally did this project, I volunteered to recreate the Londoste Restaurant from TS2. Since I was doing it by memory - and a memory a tad foggy with copious glasses of wine - it's not exactly the same. But I figured over the years, it had changed hands numerous times and been renovated and then re-renovated. So, here it is:

When we did these lots, we did them without CC and limited use of store stuff. I know! Scary! But for my own use, I went back in and went CC crazy. It was zoned as an Exclusive Lounge - mostly because I wanted sims to have to actually dress up to eat there.

The main level is where the restaurant is located. I use ani's mod for all my restaurants - so those are her menus and stove. On the other side is the bar area where sims can relax as they wait for their table. Or they can order a nightcap there. I kind of went for the whole men's smoking-room vibe. Not sure I nailed it since I am neither a guy, nor do I smoke. But whatever.

Upstairs sims can either gamble or take to the dance floor. Besides the EA stuff, I gave them 2 poker tables to lose their simoleons at - thanks to the lovely @mspoodle1. I love her stuff.

Since I was up there in the mountains, I did another family house. I'm jumping back and forth between redoing community lots and homes - mostly because I hate CAS. Anyway, in the town history the current owner of this house inherited it from her late grandmother - along with some simoleons which she promptly squandered.

Since her bio says that she wasted all her grandmother's simoleons on partying, I figured she wouldn't have done any improvements to the actual property itself. Instead, she left it pretty much the way the dearly departed left it. I figured by the time the old lady croaked, she was half-blind from untreated cataracts and unable to do any repairs due to health issues - hence the reason it looks so shabby. But at least the roof doesn't leak!

And here's the young lady herself - Madeline Moore with the stray cat that had moved in right before the old lady checked out. His name is Jinx. (No reflection on him, but right after he moved in, granny moved on). Anyway, her bio says that she's trying to find work to help keep up appearances. But EA had her in the science field at level 5. So, I fixed that. In my game, any technical field that requires sims to be educated - like science and medicine - now require a Uni diploma. And this kid just got out of high school and went on a partying-simoloen spending spree. So, no time for Uni. No, she now works in the culinary field and has absolutely no skills. Plus, I stole all her money. Because I'm a nice simgoddess I am! If you're going to tell a story, EA, do it right!

This lot was created by Jenba as a replacement for the city hall. It's where EA had their art gallery. And in my town, I use it strictly as an art gallery. In my town history it's where the city fathers used to meet before the new city hall was built. I now holds treasures from the town's past - aka: looted artwork from other sim worlds.

Where I've placed this little newsstand, Jenba had stairs down to a basement that contained the EA city hall rabbithole. Since I use the rugs and didn't intend to use it for my political career, I eliminated the stairs and basement, then built this instead using Sandy's newsstand set over on Around the Sims 3. Now my sims can buy their comic books here. Behind it - obscured by that tree - is @mspoodle1's news van. I have another one over on my business lot.

In the back of the lot is a nice promenade - that I forgot to take pictures of, but I will later. Sims can look out over the lake, paint, listen to music and whatnot.
