Update on nicky the cat. Again if you don't wanna read about animal hurt don't read on. But it was more of a shit day then just that. My car broke down as well, got to my psychologist late because of it and my partner is in bed sick. Murphy s law much? 😓

Her xrays... they are nasty breaks. But they can operate. They gave me 3 options with 3 prices tho. To put her down for 30 euro, remove her leg for 500 euro and to try and fix it for 1000+euros... I'm very fortunate that the last one is an option. So we are gonna try it. Tomorrow is the surgery, and if all is well, I can pick her up on Friday. They will put something on the break in the middle, and that should put the other break together so it can grow back together. I just hope the nerves and tissue are okay so it can heal right. She is an older lady of 13 after all...

hey so i felt something weird around my bottom left molar and i checked with my tongue and there's just. a hole. a gaping hole. iuhrm it hurts and im calling the dentist tomorrow but now i know why my mozarella had hard pieces in it

I have figured out how to request my medical records and I am making myself a nuisance to BOTH of the hospitals in my hometown, because I know they both have some of my records floating around somewhere and I have this weird desire to see radiology images of my bones and organs. Being an anthropology student has given me an unnatural desire to look at my own skeleton.

Unfortunately, the hospital that probably has most of the xrays also has the least user friendly records system, so we'll see if they even get back to me to tell me if I'm using it correctly. Also no one will tell me how long a records request is supposed to take.

#i have never broken a bone so there are not that many pictures of them. however i did have mild scoliosis. #so somewhere there are xrays of my spine. i want them. #and a few other things that may or may not be interesting #hylian rambles #medical tw #coping with feeling like a nuisance for asking people to do their jobs by #making bad jokes about it. i am a nuiscane and im okay with that.

*OOC. ------ Also, small health update: The doctor from my GP that rang me this morning, thinks I have pneumonia over a chest infection. They've prescribed me steroids and more inhalers, on top of my current inhalers and the antibiotics I'm on and they've said that the x-ray department should ring me to see them by the end of the week. Even they're concerned that with how long I've had it, that it's done even more damage to my lungs than what is already there, with my asthma.
