HIII!! I was wondering if u could do the boys from the outsiders having a waitress Friend and they all show up at her work to bother her and ask her stupid things like “since we’re ur friends this is all free right??” lol💕

Sodapop, followed by Two-Bit and Steve, slid into a booth, smiling widely. You internally groaned as the rest of the gang sat down as well. 

“Hey guys! What can I get you?” You chirped. 

“Ah, really?” Two-Bit sighed dramatically. “You’re using your customer service voice on us?”

“Fine.” Your voice dropped back to its normal tone. “Usual order?” You made eye contact with each of the boys, them nodding in confirmation. “Great.” You scribbled down the orders you had long memorised, asking, “Any other drinks or sides?”

“We’re good.” Darry interrupted before anyone could say anything that could rack up the bill. 

“I wanted Coke!” Soda whined. 

Darry shook his head. “You can get free Coke from the DX. You’re fine with water.”

“Got it,” you winked at the boys before going off and passing their order to the chef. 

The rest of your shift went easily, your other customers being very pleasant. However, whenever you tended to your friends, they always pushed you to ignore your job and sit with them. After their meal was finally done, the boys lazily eating, rapidly talking, and annoying you whenever possible, you smacked down the bill in front of them. 

“W-What’s this?” Steve asked, mouth full of the chocolate cake he ordered. 

“Your bill.” You frowned. “You all come here every week. What do you mean, ‘What is this?’”

“But we’re your friends!” Soda protested, quickly snagging some of Steve’s cake for himself. 

“Yeah…” You were unsure of where this was going. 

“We shouldn’t have to pay!” Two-Bit added on.

“I’m sorry?” You peered at them. “You guys owe ten dollars.” (I did the calculations. This is correct.) “I’m not letting you rob this fine establishment of its money!” You made it a couple seconds before snickering at your own joke. 

“Ten dollars?” Pony’s mouth fell open. “What the hell did you guys order?!”

Darry sighed and rolled his eyes. “Cough it up!” He ushered the boys to grab their wallets. Everyone handed in two dollars (except for Dally who only shoved in one dollar and Darry who gave three to make up for Johnny’s single dollar), leaving you with their money and a one dollar tip. (Again, at that time, it's a very good tip.) 

“Two dollars down the drain….” Soda mumbled sadly. 

“Two dollars for your meal.” You corrected, starting to walk away. 

“You’re still hanging out with us after your shift, right?” Johnny called after you. You turned around and gave them a thumbs up, eliciting cheers from the group. 

“Thanks for the food!” Ponyboy yelled out. “It was… decent!” 

“Don’t shoot the messenger,” you remind him, leaving the table to help the other customers.

It normally takes a lot for Darry to get nervous or turn into a blushing mess; he’s a tough guy, he’s grown up adult

But when it comes to you? Darry turns into an absolute wreck, blushing and laughing nervously

He can handle a lot from you though, your flirty touches and looks, they don’t bother him too much, he’s gotten used to them

If you call him handsome though? Bam, he’s falling apart at the seams

Y/N plopped down on Darry’s lap, knees resting comfortably on each side of Darry’s thighs. They had a small smirk on their face as they let their fingers splay across his abdomen.

“What’s up with you?” Darry teased, looping his arms around their waist.

“Oh, nothing,” they said innocently, smirk momentarily disappearing. Y/N let one of their hands drift up so their fingers could tangle in Darry’s hair. “Just missed you, handsome.”

Darry’s cheeks flushed bright red and was suddenly very grateful that Soda had taken Ponyboy out to the movies.

Giggling, Y/N’s smirk reappeared as they brought Darry’s face closer to theirs for a kiss.

SODAPOP CURTIS

Sodapop likes to act like he doesn’t get flustered, he’s usually the one riling up everyone else

All the girls in Tulsa fawn over him, treating him like a movie star or a god and Soda loves all the attention

But what he loves even more is being showered with attention from you, he gets a little blushy whenever you devote your full attention to him

He’s not shy by any stretch of the imagination but you always sort of make him nervous

“Hey Y/N?” Sodapop called, leaning inside the DX to look for them.

Y/N was behind the counter, organizing the money tray in the cash register. The boys had a bad habit of just shoving in coins without caring about where they ended up. “Right here, Sode,” they replied, dropping a few nickels into the section.

“Hey,” he smiled, making his way towards the counter. “I was wondering if–,”

“Wondering if?” Y/N interrupted. They glanced up at him through their eyelashes, lifting their head just enough to look at him.

Soda blushed, gulping. He bit his lip and looked down at his shoes before lifting his eyes back to Y/N. “Did you maybe wanna go to the Dingo tonight? Get something to eat?”

Y/N nodded before bringing up their hand so they could rest their chin on their palm. “That sounds good!”

Still blushing, Sodapop nodded. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously before leaning across the counter to press a quick kiss to Y/N’s cheek.

PONYBOY CURTIS

It really doesn’t matter what you do to him, Pony ends up blushing no matter what’s going on

Lean in close just to whisper to him in class? There’s a faint blush over his cheeks

You’re at the movie theatre and you let your head fall onto his shoulder? Pony is very lucky the darkness hid the color in his face

Nicknames absolutely kill him too, he can’t handle how sweet you are and it’s so very obvious, Dally teases him for it a lot

“Pony,” Y/N said, looking up from their textbook. They were both sitting in Ponyboy’s bed, Y/N stretched out along the foot as Pony sat cross legged up by the pillows. He looked up from his notebook at their voice, eyebrows raised in silent questioning.

“Do you have a map?”

Pony pulled his head back, confusion clear across his face. “Y/N, what-,”

“I think I’m lost in your eyes,” they finished with a playful smirk.

The words sunk in and Pony blushed, ducking his head back into his notebook.

“C’mon!” Y/N complained. They closed their textbook and crawled closer to him, gently pulling his notebook away. “That was a good one.”

Pony shook his head in disagreement, mouth slightly open like he wanted to say something to deny them. Y/N didn’t let him, letting out a small laugh before attacking his reddening face with kisses.

DALLAS WINSTON

Dally prides himself on not blushing, he doesn’t really blush ever

No pet names or touches are going to make him blush he’s just not easily embarrassed

That’s just not who Dally is, say whatever you want, but you have to really work to make him blush

That being said, he has a weak spot in his armour and it’s his St. Christopher

“C’mon,” Y/N coaxed. They were standing at the bottom of the staircase leading upstairs to the bedrooms, trying to convince Dally to leave Buck’s party to spend some time upstairs with them.

“Doll-,”

Y/N let out a sigh, fingers looping into the chain of Dally’s medal to pull him close enough to press a heavy kiss to his lips.

When they pulled back, Dally let out a shaky breath, eyes much wider than they had been a second ago.

“Now,” Y/N said evenly, emphasizing their words with a slight tug to the necklace, “are you going to come upstairs so I can do that again? Or are you going to stay down here all night?”

Dally just gulped and nodded, trying his best to keep up with Y/N as they hopped up the stairs with a victorious smile.

JOHNNY CADE

My god, Johnny is the second most-likely to blush over anything you do, right behind Ponyboy of course

He’s just not used to all the sweet things you do? He’s not used to the gentle touches and soft compliments

And I know this sounds like I’m making Johnny into one of those uwu soft bois but I promise you I’m not

This is just the truth, he doesn’t get gentle touches and kind words at home, he’s not used to them and it’s very strange to him to receive them

Johnny watched as Y/N absently let their fingers trail up and down the length of his arm, tucked snugly into his side at the diner’s booth. Their head was turned into his chest, eyes locked on Ponyboy who was sitting on the other side of the table as her told them a story.

Y/N paused when their fingers reached the inside of Johnny’s wrist, letting the pad of their index finger tap against the soft skin a few times before continuing to let their fingertips drag across his forearm.

Johnny bit his lip and looked away, trying to control the color rapidly appearing in his cheeks. Pony noticed it and gave Johnny a look that had Y/N shifting in his arms to look up at him.

“Are you alright?” they asked, a playful look in their eyes.

Johnny was doing his best to ignore their hand on his thigh and nodded. “Yeah, I’m okay.”

They grinned, fingers tapping the same rhythm they had against his wrist onto the top of his thigh. “Are you sure?”

Johnny bit his tongue and nodded. 

TWO-BIT MATHEWS

Two-Bit is actually the least likely to blush and get all nervous over something you do

Any flirty remark you make is going to be replied to with another flirty remark, that’s just the kind of personality Two has

The best way I can think of putting this is that Two is very touchy so you ruffling his hair or getting in his face really isn’t going to affect him

It’s hard to make him blush, but it isn’t entirely impossible, you’ve just got to be super forward with him

Two-Bit was in the middle of a conversation with Steve when Y/N came sauntering up. They threw an apologetic smile towards Steve before tugging Two-Bit close enough so they could whisper in his ear. 

Because they had their back to Steve, he could only watch the expressions on Two-Bit’s face as Y/N said whatever they were saying.

Two’s eyes widened, glancing over at Y/N in shock before slowly becoming a little more excited. He grinned suddenly, hands finding Y/N’s waist as they gave a soft laugh.

“So, that’s a yes?” they asked, loud enough for Steve to hear as they pulled away. Two-Bit nodded enthusiastically and tugged Y/N closer.

They laughed again and pressed a kiss to his cheek before stepping away.

“Sorry for interrupting,” Y/N said, looking over at Steve. “He’s all yours now.”

Two-Bit blinked, surprised like he’d forgotten Steve was standing there. He did forget. Blushing, Two looked away, an embarrassed smile on his lips.

“I’ll see you later,” Y/N murmured, squeezing Two-Bit’s hand before walking away.

Steve watched them go, giving them a small wave. “What was that about?”

“Go away!” Steve cried. He threw the oily rag he carried around when he was working at Soda’s face, trying to regain his composure. “Get out of here!”

“No,” Y/N said with a slight shake of their head. They leaned more heavily into Tim’s side as they passed the alley.

Tim scoffed. “Oh really? You’re not scared?”

“No,” they repeated easily, sending Tim a warm smile. “I’ve got you with me. I’m safe.”

It took Tim a moment but Y/N’s words slowly made their way to his brain and he pieced together what they were getting at. They felt safe with him, safe walking through dark streets while they held onto him. Tim smiled shyly, a rare expression for him, as he felt his face begin to heat up.

Y/N looked up, ready to ask him why he had suddenly gone so quiet when they noticed his flushed cheeks. Giggling, they reached up to brush their fingers over his cheekbones. “Are you blushing, Tim Shepard?”

“You stop that right now.”

CURLY SHEPARD

Curly let out a noise, low and rumbling but not quite a purr as he turned his face further into their thigh.

Y/N was insistent and gently turned Curly’s face back so they could see his eyes, letting their fingers tighten slightly in his dark curls. “I’m serious. Your hair is so soft and silky. And the color, it’s so dark and it makes your eyes look all bright.”

“You’re really pretty,” they said again. “Really pretty.”

Curly closed his eyes and turned his face away again, relying once more on Y/N’s thigh to hide the blush spreading across his face.

Christmas! One of the best or worst holidays of the years. It was only a couple days beforehand, which was lovely to some. Y/n was one of them. Standing in the Curtis household with the second oldest brother, Sodapop, the two were decorating the house to look like a winter wonderland. "Soda! Can you help me with the star?"

Soda absolutely loved the Christmas season. The smell of hot coco that couldpass through the home, all the Christmas music that played repeatedly on the radio. To the middle Curtis brother, it was the best. Now, his brother, Darry, wasn't very fond of the season. Nor the holiday. This would be their first year without their parents. That was the hardest part of Christmas time.

As Soda had begun to space out ever so slightly at the thoughts that nipped at his mind, Y/N let out a frustrated sigh. They looked over at Soda, their brows furrowing before they got off their tippy toes and walk over to the taller male. Soda had a blank look in his eyes, signifying he truly was spacing out. Y/N had learned this a couple weeks ago, though they hadn't mentioned it for a bit.

"Soda?" They spoke, waving their hand slightly in front of the boys face. It was silent before Soda snapped out his spaced out state. "Huh? Sorry, sorry. I'm spacing out slightly." The middle child apologized, running a hand through his hair and letting a sigh out. He took the star out of Y/N's hand, going to stand on the chair and place the star upon the tree.

During everything that happened beyond the star placing, the house had grown quiet with the soft music of Christmas songs from the radio. The house itself looked gorgeous. The front lawn was even decorated! You can thank Soda for that. To some who walked by the Curtis house, it could be a surprise. Soda was laid flat on his stomach, his eyes focused on the Christmas movie that played from the TV. Though voices snapped him out of it.

"You saw how they ran!? Talk about all bark, no bite!" The voice was cominh from one of the louder members of the grease family, Two-Bit. Or Kieth, but everyone called him his nickname. "Yeah, yeah! We saw, Two." Another voice spoke, but this one sounded rather tired, but Soda could recognize it from anywhere. It was his closest buddy in the group, Steve. He couldn't be annoyed about it. The two voices stopped when finally realizing what was outside. A laugh seemed to have escaped Two, making Soda proud and feeling accomplished. Y/N looked over with a smile forming on their face. "Seems someone likes your decorations, Soda."

Soda smiled wide at this, proud that at least someone liked the decorations he put out there! "C'mon, c'mon! The inside has to look awesome too!" Two's excited voice rang out, before he pushed open the door and looked around the house. Truly, it looked like a winter wonderland. Steve watched the other boys excitement, which only made the later laugh. "It looks awesome! Y/N, Soda! Was this all you!?" Steve asked, earning a nod in response from the two who seemed to be relaxing.

"Yeah, it was. Once the others get here, we can make hot chocolate, watch some Christmas movies, shit like that." Y/N explained, smiling warmly to the two boys. Steve went to the kitchen already, going to eat the chocolate cake that Darry had made hours prior and left in the fridge for him. "Are we doing Christmas dinner together too!?" Steve asked from the kitchen, searching for whatever he could find.

As hours passed and the four sat, here came the rest. Ponyboy, Darry, Dallas and Johnny. Now the group was together, like a family. It was nice. Johnny finally being able to celebrate the holidays with people who cared, Dally not being in the freezer, Soda finally getting a break from work with Steve, everything felt like it should be.

At the end of the night, with half of them being forced, each had a little headband on. Pony and Johnny had elf hats, Dallas had a Krampus styled headband, Darry had Santa, and the rest had reindeers. Though who stood behind the camera was Y/N. Until Johnny had pulled them into the photo. "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!" Two announced, before the camera clicked.

Even though this was a common occurrence, Johnny asking you to a movie or Dairy Queen, you kept debating whether he just wanted to be friends or not. Johnny hung out with Pony and Dally all the time; maybe he just saw quality time as a thing necessary for his friendships? Or was Two-Bit and Pony correct in that Johnny liked you?

“Yeah! I would love to!” You said, never to refuse him. Obviously, as anyone would, you liked Johnny in a way that could only be described as a schoolgirl crush intensified by one hundred. “I’ll see you in English?”

“Yeah!”

“Great,” you waved goodbye to him, meeting up with Two-Bit in the halls of your school. 

Two-Bit, with a grin that stretched ear to ear, snickered out, “You, my friend, are an idiot.”

“Not this again,” you sighed.

“Listen, kid,” he slung an arm around you. “This is a clear as broad daylight thing. The fact that you don’t see Johnny Cade’s crush for you is shockingly sad.”

“Two, I know I have a crush on him,” you started, “but I don’t know if he has a crush on me. And before you argue, he just went to the drive- in with Pony two days ago. Why am I any different?”

“Because he went with Pony, Dally, and Soda!” Two-Bit laughed out loud at your blindness. “Three other people! I haven’t seen him asking Darry or me to the drive-in tonight. He only asked you. Kid,” he looked down at you, a brotherly sternness coming over him. “I have heard from Johnny’s mouth itself that he likes you. Just go to the dang drive- in and tell him how you feel! We’re all rooting for you!” His voice lowered, “though if you could wait two weeks, you would really help me win ten dollars…” 

You pushed Two-Bit away from you, scoffing. However, his words didn’t leave your head throughout the day. Through English, the walk home, and while you were getting ready, Two’s words ran through your head.

“Hey Y/n,” Johnny smiled when he picked you up at your house. 

“Hi!” You took Johnny’s arm, as a bit of a joke, while you guys walked to the drive-in. After a while of silence, Johnny looking over at you curiously as conversation usually flowed easily between you, you said, “Two-Bit said something weird. He said that he heard that you liked me?”

“Well, yeah.” Johnny was taken aback by the suddenness of your words and turned bright red but tried to play it off. “You’re a cool friend. If I didn’t like you, why would I hang out with you?” He chuckled lightly, rubbing the back of his neck.

“He meant in a romantic way,” you corrected. 

“Y/n,” Johnny sighed, “yeah, I do like you. I thought I made that clear enough when I kept asking you out to activities.”

“I thought you were just being nice!”

“No,” Johnny shook his head, smiling. “I like you. And, uh, I hope you like me too?”

Honestly helps him so much. Like- considering the gang is almost always leeching off the food in the house and he's usually working or taking care of the boys, you cooking helps him so much.

Also double points if the boy's like your cooking too. Gives him time to relax and not hear anyone complain about he cooked the damn food.

Definitely the type of boyfriend that would come up behind you and hug you from behind while you mixed something or cut up some veggies. Also a worrywart if you happen to cut your finger or burn yourself on a pan or something. May yell at you to be more careful because he can't afford a hospital visit over some sliced carrots.

Sodapop Curtis

He thinks it's kinda cute. Definitely the type to ask you to cook some random ass box of brownies he found at 2 am. Little midnight baking dates. Definitely to spend time with you though and not because someone usually calls dibs on the bowl before him.

Oh yeah, he automatically dibs licking the bowl and spoon. He doesnt care about the raw eggs. Fight. Him.

You remind him of his mom. Kinda wholesome and kinda sad. A good amount of memories he has with his mom is standing on a chair as a young kid and helping her mix some stuff for dinner.

He'd probably be the one that preaches constantly about the recipe. "YoU cAnT gUeSs! UsE tHe MeAsUrInG cUpS." A huge gremlin about following the recipe precisely. He helps you but you might have to kick him out so he'll shut up about how you didn't put enough salt into the batter.

He's kinda a 7/10. Helpful if you're precise and he loves to help you out with making food, but sucks if you know your stuff and go off taste. because you don't need no damn measuring cups.

Steve Randle

Ughhhh such a pain. Kick him out. He like- he'll offer help but will literally just make everything ten times messier and worse on you if you accept his offer. Like he sucks in the kitchen with a passion. He always compliments your cooking though. Compliments to the chef.

Begs you to bake him cake and pastries and encourages you to cook constantly. This dudes always hungry but like he usually cleans his plate. Biggest motivation right here. Probably has competitions with Soda over who has the better lunch for work. He usually wins lol

Twobit Matthews

Will ask if you can research how to make homemade beer just for the hell of it. He's actually not as big of an alcoholic as he's told to be, but he does wonder if he could create some homemade beer because honestly? Free and he won't have to use a fake ID.

Other than that he's pretty chill about it. He thinks it's cool you can cook. Probably asks you to make him and his little sister dinner sometimes whenever his mom and stepdad are out. I headcannon him as someone that burns absolutely everything. Somehow almost burned the house down by trying to make warm milk for his sister when she was much younger. He's probably too scared to offer his help for the sake of not wanting to mess up any of your cooking, but he usually lingers around while you cook and watches what you do.

Also is not afraid to pick you up and distract you from your food though if he's excited about something.

Dallas Winston

Pain in the ass 2.0 He's worse than Randle.

"Doll, why cook when I live above a bar?" He definitely doesn't have a great diet. Mfer lives at DQ whenever he's not at Buck's or the Curtis house. His diet consists of Dairy Queen, random ass bar food that Buck finds to give people, sometimes meals at the Dingo if he's not too busy flirting or causing trouble, and stolen ice cream from kids off the street.

"You're just wasting money on all those ingredients. We have plenty of good food all around us." Probably doesn't even own a fridge. Probably the type that has a mini fridge but it's not even plugged in and he just puts sodas or alcohol in there and constantly complains it's broken even though he doesn't think once to look at the plug.

Lol anyways, after you feed him a few good healthy, non leeched, meals, he'll probably shut up more. Still doesn't quite understand, but he gets it a bit more once he tastes the stuff.

Johnny Cade

Honestly probably the only one that actually can cook. He doesn't spend a lot of time in the kitchen, but after watching a few times he's somehow a natural? Like the best one out them all to help you cook because he may even be a better cook than you without trying (no offense.)

He doesn't spend a lot of time at home and or good reason, so it's safe to say he probably doesn't get decent meals a lot unless it's from the Curtis house, but I think that's why he's so good with it? Like- he's so grateful for homemade food because it's rare that he gets it that he just subconsciously is super good at making it. Does that even make sense?

Anyways, like I said the BEST to help with cooking and baking. Even draws cute little hearts and stars with icing when you guys make cake <3

Tim Shepard

Similar to Darry but less open about it. It helps him, it really does, especially with Curly who eats like a horse, but he won't be as sweet or verbally thankful about it. He'll offer to help if he has time, and would hit the backside of Curly's head if he ever made a negative comment about the food, but that's pretty rare so 🤷

-You have a little sister named Annie and she’s best friends with twobit’s younger sister Clara.

-Clara invited her and you to her birthday party and twobit always makes the rest of the gang go

-Your initial thought of Darry was “Wow that guy is tall”

-Then he turned around and then you were like “He’s hot too”

-You approached him during the party, and got to briefly know each other.

-He tells you about the gang, mostly Ponyboy and Sodapop.

-He also tells you what he does for work and small talk like that

-You guys were cut short because Mrs. Mathews brought the cake out

-You swore you saw him glance over a few times at you while everyone was singing

-You sat next to each other while eating, and you met the gang.

-You continued to talk, gaining a new friend.

-He then asked you out on a date, saying how he hadn’t enjoyed talking to someone so much in a long time.

-On that date, you went to the diner.

-It was a lunch date

-You became a lot closer on that date

-After the date you kissed him on the cheek after hugging him, seeing he blushed before he said bye and turned around to walk out the door.

-You went on many dates after that, becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.

So I would like your hcs on how the boys would react if after the Curtis parents passed y/n, who is a Curtis sibling, started to act like how ponyboy does in the book after johnny and dally's death.

Also for the sibling thing, its really up to you on how old y/n is. You wanna make them the eldest of the siblings, go for it, you wanna make them a middle child whether their older or younger than soda, go for it, you wanna make them the youngest of the siblings, go for it, like I said, its really up to you.

- He’s trying his best to help

- Don’t expect something really big and fancy, but Darry’s trying to show that he cares and that you aren't alone in the only ways he really knows how

- He’ll let you sleep in a little later than usual, he’ll go out of his way to make your favourite meal if you say you don't have much of an appetite

- Darry isn't the greatest at physical affection and saying he loves you, so he makes sure to show it the best he can

- Sometimes that means letting you fall asleep on his chest at night when the rest of the boys have fallen asleep for the evening, fingers carding through your hair

Sodapop Curtis

- He’s not too different from his eldest brother

- Soda makes sure to give you the time and rest you need (that every one needs, really), but also tries really hard to make sure you know you're not alone

- He’ll invite you to tag along when he goes out with Steve and the rest of the boys

- He’d probably put in some extra effort and maybe tidy your room when you head out to get some fresh air, too

- Unlike you're eldest brother, Sodapop is very comfortable with telling you he loves you and holding you against his chest, your head tucked just beneath his chin

Ponyboy Curtis

- Since he’s only 13 at the time, Ponyboy doesn't really know the best way to help you

- So he usually does what Soda or Darry ask him to do for you

- And, in a way, he finds his own way of getting you up and out of bed and around the people who love you

- Ponyboy will sit on the foot of you or bed and ask for help with homework (Not that he really needs it, but he likes hearing your voice)

- Other times he just likes to sit with you and tell you about his day, what he Johnny did, or any little thing on his mind

Two-Bit Mathews

- Two-Bit is very comfortable with physical affection. One of his favourite things to do is sit next to you on the sofa with one arm tossed around your shoulders

- He’s still quick to come up with a good joke here and there, but he also realizes that you're going through a rough time right now

- He brings you candy and a few other odds and sods, things that used to make you smile before the accident

- Two-Bit tells you all the time he better be the first one you call when you're ready to hit the town again

- He ends up making you laugh without even trying. It's the little things that get you, like when he tries juggling eggs in the kitchen and screams when Darry yells at him to “put those damn eggs back ‘less you wanna lay me another dozen!” from the other side of the house

Dallas Winston

- Your parents’ death hit everyone really hard. Dallas especially.

- Don’t expect any grand gestures of support, but Dallas does try. Just a little.

- He’ll swing by and pick you up a few nights a week, letting you know that it ain't natural for a kid to be spending their youth crying away in their bedroom on a fine Friday night when there are parties to crash

- Darry doesn't really approve, but this is the most he’s seen you out of your room since fur accident, so he figures he can turn a blind eye every now and again

- More often than not, Dallas will bring you around to Buck’s after hours so you can both have a drink in peace. Buck makes sure to lock the door and turn the lights off, giving you two all the time you need to reminisce and grieve

Steve Randle

- He really doesn't know how to help

- It’s not that he ignores you, but he's a lot keener on giving you space than the rest of the boys

- But he still talks to you and asks about your day, how you've been and what plans you have for the weekend

- Steve ends up inviting you to tag along when he goes out with Soda, usually saying they were heading to the DX for some candy. “You didn't havta come, just lemme know what you want.”

- As much as everyone thinks Steve doesn't care that much about you, he's the first one to notice you smile for the first time since the accident

Johnny Cade

- Johnny isn't great when it comes to helping people with their emotions. If you want to talk it all out, that's great and he’ll help as much as he can, but don't expect Johnny to pry or ask first

- He’s very comfortable with sitting next you in silence, maybe breaking it to ask about your day or share something he’d done in the last few days

- He likes collecting things for you

- Funny comics, cool bottle caps, Johnny will grab any and everything cool thing he can think of if it has the chance to make you smile

- He’s a lot like Ponyboy, doing the little things so you know you're not alone
