I'm obsessed with the idea of Uncle Noob, can I ask your headcanons for Bi-Han as Satoshi's uncle in your AU?👀

Is he good with kids? Is he the classic cool uncle who's obviously a bad influence? Does Subscorprumi trust him to leave Satoshi with him (or they fear they will burn the house down if left unsupervised)?

yeeeeeeee, oh I love this kinda content for Bi-Han

He is very good with kids, despite how blunt he is, bc he always talks to them like they are adults. He explains rules and why they have consequences, asks their opinion on things they want to do, and just generally treats them with dignity (not that subscorprumi don't treat Satoshi the same way, but for other kids thats why they like him)

He'll also let Satoshi get away with pretty much anything, often helping him with pranks and petty vengeances, so Satoshi thinks he's just the coolest thing ever.

It doesn't hurt that he always brings him presents too, usually some wooden toy he's carved.

Subscorprumi will let him babysit, but only if Lian and Ru are busy, or he's chaperoning for a group of kids with other adults present (like at a school field trip, though the Shirai Ryu schooling works a bit differently I'd imagine)

Also, sometimes they'll just cave bc Satoshi begs them to spend time with Uncle Bi-Han (and eventually Aunt Sareena and Uncle Johnny)

Kuai Liang has a lot more faith in his brother than Hanzo does, and Harumi is confident that Bi-Han's fear of pissing her off outweighs his need to help her son cause chaos (and she is right)

Bi-Han also helps run the kombat classes for the younger kids (mostly for self defense and to learn discipline and whatnot) and is their favorite instructor bc he'll let them try anything so long as they can a) justify why learning it would help them b) prove that they have enough practice with their other techniques to not hurt themselves and c) let him supervise.

Uncle Bi-Han is practically every kids favorite uncle even tho he's only related to one of them, they all call him that.

Satoshi is a little bit upset that he has to share his uncle, but everyone also thinks he's really cool bc he's Uncle Bi-Han's Actual nephew so he's cool by association.

Im gonna pump out some fan art of this OC I have in mind later, but for now, I’m gonna go a bit insane about Bi-Han’s mother. (Mind you this is is wholeheartedly not canon lol, my hyper fixations are just WOOOSH)

I think we can safely assume the Lin Kuei in MK1’s timeline are a little more progressive than their previous depictions. Yes, women can become members. But what of the girls born with crowns on their heads, and a legacy of nothing on their shoulders?

What if Bi-Han’s mother was a royal born who couldn’t participate in training even if she WANTED to?

What if she was purchased courted as a domestic servant for the Grandmaster? Because I can imagine that woman. a titan of ice and a scowl like fire. I imagine her, lonely, brutal, and dejected, with two children at her chest, asking what was she supposed to do with them?

“Love them.”

“And what will YOU do?” She spits at the Grandmaster. And he says he’ll rule. And she’s left wondering why the roles can’t be reversed. How is a child supposed to thrive when broken raises them?

Bi-Han is born first; He doesn’t make a sound, almost as if he can’t be bothered to.

She does feel a sparkling of something, but it could’ve been the blood loss. She has no idea this tiny thing will befriend the seed of a god one day.

Now, imagine your glaring son walks up to you one day, and says his father, your husband, got his shit ROCKED at the farmer’s market by a drunken, womanizing rancher.

The same rancher who vehemently opposed the Emperor when he demanded more grains from the South, for their pointless religious offerings. The same rancher who, apparently, found a child abandoned right in the middle of his peach orchard.

A child, a baby girl who radiates this bothersome, glowing warmth. A baby whom Bi-Han likes. A lot. “And you just found her in your orchard.”

“I know, it was bizzare. But we don’t have law inforcement in the south, and Jerrod, the bastard, won’t believe me either! I’m telling you, — she’s a God’s daughter. Was. She’s mine now, and I’m not giving her back, but it’s clear she’s no regular child!”

He’s a handsome man. Sharp lines curve his jaw, ans his hair is smooth, kissing his tanned shoulders. It’s almost hard to believe the Lin Kuei grandmaster forfeited under such a man.

She can understand why her husband would be infatuated.

“And you had her for how long?”

He peels oranges for her while Bi-Han chases the baby. Talia, her name is. Tai Ling never claimed to be particularly inventive, seeing as he never PLANNED for kids.

“A couple weeks! At first I thought I just drank too much, but, after she was still there for a few days, I realized I couldn’t really… Entertain my habits anymore.”

“You mean drinking and whoring?” She bored.

“Gah! At least I’m doing SOMETHING!” He argues with a twinkle in his eye, handing her the fruit. She takes it. Oftentimes, she’ll wonder how someone who has nothing is willing to give everything. “What do YOU do to be happy?”

She doesn’t have an answer for that.

“I had him for four years. I still don’t know what to do with him,” she confesses, watching Bi-Han run after Talia with all the drive a toddler can have. “Is it terrifying? To now know what they’ll become?”

To her surprise, he shakes his head. “I know what Talia will be. I’m not worried at all.”

She snorts. “Good for you,” still, his words bring a nameless and weightless comfort into her core. “…If you were me…What would you do?”

“If I had YOUR life? Probably sleep till I’m 100.” He laughs at his own jest, teeth smiling under the sun’s generous light. She never liked heat. But talking to him is almost worth the discomfort. “I think you’re doing great.”

“I don’t know what I’m doing.”

“But you’re trying your best, right?”

She nods once.

“Then that’s enough. It always is.”

A pause stagnates between them. “The man you fought at the market. He’s my husband.”

Tai Ling surprises her with a nod, “I know. “

“…Then why are you being kind with me?”

“A woman isn’t the men in her life. If we eat one spoiled apple, we don’t throw away the whole orchard.”

“…What?”

He laughs.

A Big Step In Life

Pairing:  Husband!Bi Han x Pregnant!Wife!Fem Reader 

Summary: Going two days with a random sickness, Bi Han becomes impatient and wants to know what's causing his wife, the reader, to be ill, and is surprised when he gets the answer...

For the past two days, I had been waking up sick. It would fade away just to come back worse than before. I had an idea of what it could have been, but I wanted to be sure.

Unlike me, my husband, Bi Han, was somewhat worried and impatient to know the cause. It was rare for me to get sick, and to such intensity had him pacing back and forth:

"I am getting tired of waiting."

"Relax, Brother," Kuai sighed at him, only trying to help, "I am sure that Y/N will be fine."

"Don't tell me to relax," Bi Han growled at him, freezing and staring as the doctor stepped out of the room, whispering to Bi Han with a smile:

"She will be just fine, but she does have something to tell you. It's best if you hear it from her."

With the door open, I could see the confusion on his face. He marched into the room, shutting and locking the door.

"Don't look so stressed, Bi Han. I'm fine, I promise."

"Then why are you sick?" He groaned out of impatience, sitting at my side on our bed, growing serious as he asked, "The doctor told me that you had something to tell me. What is it?"

"I know why I've been dealing with this sickness," I smiled. My smile confused him till I took his hand, his eyes carefully following it as I placed his hand on top of my stomach.

His eyes shot over to mine quickly, knowing what was going on but needing to hear me say:

"You're going to be a father, Bi Han."

"I'm going to be a father," He repeated, smiling more with my nod:

"It's why my nausea was so strong, love."

"I'm going to be a father," He repeated again, his hand sliding under the blanket and under my shirt to feel my stomach.

I wasn't far along, but as his palm met my skin, there was this overwhelming happiness that washed over me; I sniffled as I nodded to him again:

"We're going to be parents, dear."

Seeing my swelled-up tears, he fixed me up a little so he could hug me, which only made that happiness stronger, squeezing him as he cooed to me:

"And we will be great parents."

"I'm so blessed to be your wife and the mother of your child," I sniffled, back to smiling as he wiped a tear from my cheek:

"There's no other in this world that I'd want to be that for me."

As our foreheads met and I stared into those brown eyes, I just knew our future was filled with even more joyful moments than this one, holding his face as he smiled at me softly, kissing him:

"You and our child are my whole world, Bi Han."

Kissing me back, he only turned away as there was a knock on the door, getting up to see Kuai and Tomas.

"I truly hate to interrupt brother-" Kuai began, just for Bi Han to immediately shut him down:

"Whatever it is, it can wait. I just learned that I'm going to be a father."

"But-" Tomas went to step in but stopped as he registered what Bi Han had said, "Wait a second. Y/N's pregnant?"

"Yes, she is," Bi Han clarified, shocked but smiles on their faces as they learned that they'd be uncles, Kuai congratulating us and making eye contact with me:

"That would explain why you've been sick. Congratulations. I'm happy for you two."

"As am I," Tomas bowed, saying quickly, "Sorry to disturb you, brother."

As they shut the door, Bi Han returned to me, his hand latched to my stomach again. I'd never get tired of that feeling, placing my hand on top of his, squeezing softly:

"I can't wait to meet our baby and be our own little family."

• The only children Bi-Han cares for and protects is his own

• You will have 12 children by him, eight boys and four girls. Majority of your children have traditional Chinese names or certain American names translated in Chinese

• He loves his boys but is strict when it comes to training and teaching them to protect the Lin Kuei and family.

But if anyone ever fucks with son, he will not show mercy. They are his heart, DO NOT! Cross his family

• As for his daughters, he leaves that to you. He believes that is your expertise. He does little training with them, just the basics of self-defense. But he makes it clear not to have them in battle.

• His daughters though are literally glued to him, 24/7. The main thing your girls do religiously is their father’s hair. Certain parts of his head braided. And he would walk around with pride with the hairstyle

And if anyone ever say anything about it, will regret the day they spoke.

• He spoils his kids to death, especially his daughters. Your children always look nice and cared for by their father and uncles.

• Suprisingly there favorite uncle is Tomas, they love there Kuai Liang but Tomas is a lot fun to play with and indulge in there antics.

Tomas is more available then there father and other uncle

• The stuff that you see in Bluey with the kids and parents. You and Bi-Hans kids can get that chaotic and make games, that you commit to a lot of times. It’s very rare when Bi-Han does it, but when he does. It’s quite the sight and memory.

Sometimes they even have there uncles or rest of the Lin Kuei into it

• The children love their auntie Harumi who brings them gifts and homemade cookies from her home and travels. Bi-Han doesn’t like when they have to much doughy foods let alone candy

But you let them enjoy it whenever your husband isn’t around, and remind the children. “Don’t tell your father, it’ll be our little secret.”

• The children love and respects their father, and whenever given praises. It makes them super happy. As you have to remind Bi-Han the importance of praising a child when they do good, as it makes them continue and shows that he loves them despite his many scorns of there behavior

• Liu Kang is like there godfather, he always shares his wisdom with them and they heed his words a lot. The other people in earthrealm, Now with Johnny, your daughters like to bribe him or extort him for money. For them to protect him.

You question your girls moral, “If only we knew where they got that from?” You looked at Bi-Han.

“At least Starboy’s money will be put to good use.” Bi-Han retorted.

• The Lin Kuei children are the legacy and future of the clan and will continue to share its glory and name throughout the world.

It’s not all that surprising that you had twins. It’s exhausting running after them both as they grow older, but Tomas cakewalks it and still makes time to love on you as much as he did before they were born. As infants, Tomas hardly ever puts them down except for tummy time and the chores that require more effort than just one hand. As soon as he finishes [the task], he picks the opposite twin up (so that “they don’t feel jealous of the other”). He even picks you up when he has that insatiable urge to just hold someone brought on from parenthood.

Tomas engages in anything his kids want him to, even if it’s overtly ridiculous. Tea parties, house, having to watch over a doll like it’s their baby, dinosaur re-enactments, helping shovel dirt to bury something just to dig it back up again, faux makeovers—just anything you can name. His pride is not easily hurt by something as simple as something he feels is the bare minimum, and if you catch him, he gets you involved, too. When Tomas is busy [working] and he has to deny a child, he is 100% going to make it up to them with lots of snacks and playtime. You won’t have Tomas to yourself until late night; he’s the type of father to want to spend the entire day with his children, but can’t.

Tomas loves to tell stories his mother told him about him and his own twin sister. It’s usually in the spur of the moment, like when you’re both watching them play or after they’ve both fell/went to sleep and you’re talking about plans for them. You’re not the only ear he tells it to, and he says it to his own kids as well when he’s got the time for play with them—Tomas answers any and all questions that they might have, but kids are not all that emotionally mature enough to understand that sometimes you can’t just ask certain questions or say certain things. It makes Tomas sad on the inside, but he toughs it out and waits until you’re both alone to find your comfort.

If your kids show interest in the Shirai Ryu, Tomas is glad to teach them! Even if they’re not, he does want to teach them how to fight anyway. If you’re willing, you’ll have to serve as their model as your husband practices on you to show them how it’s done. If not, Hanzo or Kuai Liang is a good alternative. He’ll be as gentle as possible so that they don’t go hurting each other to bruises, of course, but he always has to reiterate that on real opponents they’ll have to hit harder. To make it fair, Tomas wants them to practice on each other, and he the referee. If one of them get hurt too badly you may be upset more than Tomas, so he’s almost too careful.

As for their uncle, Tomas tries to bring them (and you) around Kuai Liang as much as possible. He’s not really a selfish person in most cases, as he values family a lot. After Bi Han, it’s important to him that the rest of the family he has left gets along well—so what better way to do this by having the whole family in one place at the same time? Tomas’ number one favorite thing to do with Kuai Liang, spouse and children is to have one big dinner at any time of the year. He triple checks the children are properly accounted for first even after you’ve done so yourself before anything else, and then comes back to your waiting arms.

You and Tomas would probably only have twins. Although Tomas is busy at the Shirai Ryu, he wouldn’t be opposed to just one more child if you asked. But if that’s not what you want or see in the future with him, he honors that as if his life completely depends on it. He already worships the ground you walk on and kisses more than just your feet even before you gave him twins, and he couldn’t have asked for a greater gift. However if you agree [to having another baby], Tomas would be ecstatic to try again for as long as it takes. Quickie or not, anything counts, to him.

Bi-Han is a mama's boy and everything he does is in hopes of honoring her memory. Since Tomas came into their lives, he began competing for her attention and seeking her approval for everything.

Bi-Han has daddy issues. As the Grandmaster's first son, he grew up constantly watched and pushed to the limits to one day be worthy of inheriting his father's position.

Like all Lin Kuei, Bi-Han trained to be a deadly and stealthy warrior since childhood.

Bi-Han's best friends are Cyrax and Sektor, but as heir to the clan's highest position he rarely had time to play like a normal child and often avoided venting to either of them so as not to show weakness.

Kuai Liang knows all of Bi-Han's weaknesses and frustrations. Bi-Han only knows all of Kuai Liang's weaknesses.

Bi-Han values strength and power above all else.

Bi-Han admires Rain's powers and would like to have him as an ally.

Bi-Han can't stand strangers touching him.

Bi-Han secretly respects Raiden and Kung Lao because they were apprentices of Madam Bo, a retired Lin Kuei.

Bi-Han loves to be praised and respected.

Bi-Han secretly respects Kenshi because his ancestors were fierce opponents of his Lin Kuei ancestors.

Bi-Han secretly respects and cares for Tomas, but he refuses to admit it and treats him harshly because otherwise it would make his father happy.

Bi-Han once looked up to his father (when he was just a boy).

Bi-Han was surprised to hear from Tomas that he once idolized him, largely because he always made sure of distancing himself from him, reminding him that they are not equal, etc.

Bi-Han believes that his father's attachment to tradition and blind loyalty to Liu Kang condemned the Lin Kuei to mediocrity.

When his mother died, Bi-Han was bereft and grew frustrated with his father's decisions. And as his father aged and refused to retire, whispers that Bi-Han should take leadership began to spread and when the Grandmaster was seriously injured in an accident, Bi-Han was advised to let nature take its course.

Bi-Han misses his mother and mourns her death to this day.

Bi-Han once saw Liu Kang as an uncle.

Bi-Han misses Kuai Liang's company.

Bi-Han is vain, but supporting Shao in battles in Outworld left him with no time even for basic care some days, like brushing his teeth.

Bi-Han regrets hurting Kuai Liang, but his pride prevents him from apologizing.

Bi-Han has had anger issues since he was a boy and often loses control when under stressful situations. This trait was the main reason why his father refused to retire and considered him unworthy of holding his position. Bi-Han suspects to this day that his father would have preferred Kuai Liang to have been born first.

Bi-Han is proud of his appearance because he takes after his mother. And he is even more proud of having inherited her combat skills.

Both of Bi-Han's parents were excellent fighters.

Bi-Han's father was a close friend of Jerrod.

Bi-Han once admired Sindel a lot. And the news of her death was devastating for him. He regrets having been busy freeing Shao from prison in Outworld, rather than protecting his brothers, Sindel and her daughters in battle against Shang Tsung's Titan counterpart.
