modern au dad askeladd except he's not an actual dad but this random kid shows up to his house every day and tries to have beef over the closed food store askeladd bought and turned into an antiquarian store. turns out the food store used to be run by the kid's father until he passed away which is very sad of course but also askeladd is not gonna cooperate with some brat that borderline harasses him day by day. only that he can't call the cops because he kinda has a turbulent past and if they find out he's filling his store with stolen goods it's gonna become a huge problem. and note to destiny, the stupid kid finding out is not that great either because now he has to hear it out if he doesn't wanna go to prison and also he should probably learn the demon child's name while he's at it. shenanigans ensue.

the reddit thread assures me that there's no negative consequences for selling the hubcaps but it's a lie there IS and it's that I feel like a monster

i hate that suicide jokes have become so common i think its genuinely having the same effect as the popularization of shit like delulu where people are getting so used to joking about suicide that they dont take it seriously anymore. tip for the people if you see someone online being suicidal and you dont know how to help the very least you can do is not reply with some sort of "well THAT just happened" type of comment or even worse a joke or passive encouragement ala "well i cant stop you i guess' (and if you post active encouragement go fuck yourself).
i know people are already addressing how suicide jokes are like self deprecation jokes where they just keep you stuck in a mentally unwell state but there should be more talk about how them becoming popular again is genuinely desensitizing people to suicidal ideation and even worse desensitizing people to actual suicide notes. take suicide seriously and if the person youre talking to tries to make it into a big joke either they really need help or theyre a really big asshole (and sometimes its both)

if somepony made a very stulid driving mistake would you A) yell at them
b) call the cops
c) follow them all the way to their destination (parents house) then go knock on the door and tell their dad what they did and laugh at them and not leave until theyre crying?

Kinda re: my last post... *sheepish grin* SO UHH. I like lots of different ships, for various characters.
Twst does such a good job of worldbuilding, and making every character so well developed, any and all character interactions end up interesting!
*sheepish grin intensifies*
Re: my last post, though... imagine Azul using all 10 of his arms to force a sick, grumpy Jamil into bed.
Simultaneously holding him down, feeding him soup, and reading him a bedtime story. While Jamil flails uselessly and tries to scream invective... but there's an octopus arm covering his mouth.

Kyros the type of dad who watches silly pictures of his daughter back when she was a child in the family photo album and spend 90$ making a frame for each one of them and writing little goofy notes behind them. He likes to proudly show them to every guest who enters the house (Rebecca just sits far away while groaning and hiding her face behind her hands while Viola and Riku are laughing)
Rebecca the type of daughter who keeps sending cheesy glitter "good morning" GIFs and weird but wholesome photo edits of kittens to her dad and aunt and grandpa every morning even when she's in school
Scarlett the type of mom who lets her daughter drive the car while she's dramatically holding onto her passenger seat and gasping at every turn, she herself is a good driver. She also likes to play the radio in the car but always picks on the stations where it's right in the middle of two other stations like when you can hear radio static and music at the same time.
and Viola is the aunt who basically always "knows a friend who can help" in basically anything starting from skipping lengthy lines and waiting times at the airport to literally going to the backstage of every concert, she just KNOWS what she's doing!
Riku is the type of grandpa who HAS to read the small shiny and barely visible sticker at the back of the remote control while wearing his grandpa sunglasses, everybody convinces him not to bother but he's too curious to listen
Riku Matriarch (screw you Oda for not giving her a name) is the type of grandma who always, in some way, brings the most limited edition candy that has been on sale for only the last thirty seconds of halloween (she definitely has a dealer for those)

katherine and/or davey for bingo if you haven’t done either of them yet?
i think katherine’s girl power energy can sometimes be read as the world being against her (kara lindsay) or. or. it can be read as her thinking the world is against just her until she meets the newsies and their stories and the way their lives work in society’s system compared to her own life and story. and how they stack up against each other in the scheme of things. and gains an actual self-awareness of the reality she’s reporting on (bronté barbe). like jack has some underlying sexism the same way katherine has underlying classism. i am just saying
