ohoho anon ‎( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) do we have some ushioidai for you

so Ushijima and Oikawa end up at the same university (for volleyball, of course) and as their first year begins they come to understand each other and actually - dare Oiks say it - get along pretty well after a couple months

so well that they can hang out with just the two of them and it’s pleasant

one day Ushijima is exercising at the local gym near their uni and he notices Daichi there too

of course he remembers him from the Nationals playoffs, he was the captain of the team that crushed Shiratorizawa (maybe only time will tell)

so anyways Daichi is teaching a class and Ushijima waits until it’s over before going in and talking to Daichi

turns out !! since Daichi isn’t playing volleyball at uni (lack of time, he’s a med student), he’s teaching kids how to play at the local gym, & since volunteering is only a couple days a week it’s not so hard to work into his schedule
