This is, of course, not Eve's first foray into girls loving girls, his jukebox surrealist film Adam By Eve is literally about a Japanese schoolgirl coming to terms with being in love with her best friend (a girl who is also in love with her! They are in a relationship!) and accepting that this means the world will be different for her, but realizing that it's infinitely better to live in a world that is different than to try to survive in a world where the girl she loves doesn't exist.

This is a little shorter than a feature film, though, and a little easier to consume if you're not either fluent in Japanese or at least intimately familiar with the lyrics of Eve's music. (Still watch Adam By Eve if you have the chance, though.)

List of headcanons I have for hitotsume-sama..... so normal

Hitotsume is this zingai who have lived "alongside" humans for a long time, observing them and the way they developed.. having watched their atrocities over the years, he becomes a lil resentful towards them (reason why hito is rather mean to them in the MVs... kids are an exception as seen from the heart forecast MV (prob bc of "innocent" ??))

Hito follows human trends too,, halloween, christmas, clothing! in the 19th century and after, he'd stuck with the tophat since he developed fondness for it.. (cover that baldhead !!!!) because of his height, hitotsume would have to sew his own clothes... (a zingai running a tailor shop where hito would often come sounds cool too.. with how zingais varies so much in shapes and size the custom tailoring is needed!!!)

The Evego is something the zingais made to communicate with each other, hito has a help in it too... he's a bigshot in the zingai world..

Another headcanon is that Zingai food and Human food is different (maybe some food that are edible for both)

So it makes it endearing that hito tries to cook for eva... but as it turns out.. he only give apples because he can't make anything edible for her.. at least he can serve tea too

Another thing is that hitotsume is a little bit like no-face from spirited away, he is easily(?) infected by the atmopshere and people around him, that's why he's chilled out and happy in one MV about love and severely strict in a world with so much order

Thinking about making comics for an AU I have for Hitotsume-sama and Eva... there's something about a zingai who does human activities.. something about trying to understand human concept to take care of the kid.. 🥹 a strained relationship with how eva despise him and hito... because he grew up with human society in a way.. becoming of the typical(?) strict dad.. not very aware that his actions are hurting when he thought it was for the best

And in here eva's parents are nowhere to be found and that's why Hitotsume took her in 😭😭 (dad things I guess..) presumably in a zingai world, eva blaming hito for her life being insufferable and her alienation that comes with living with zingais instead of humans..

Its ok.. it's not all bad times.. they do silly stuff together sometimes (imagine eva teaching hito the phone... smh boomer..)

basically i'm trying to get back into covering songs, i used to be a youtaite so that used to be kind of a regular thing i did but,,, not so much anymore
