Ask Me About…Vampire Whump!
That’s right, the first ask game in this project is for you, Fang Gang! (I’ve accepted using that name for vampire whump creators.) Since vampire whump takes so many different forms, I’ve split the twenty questions in this ask game into different categories. So no matter what type you write, there’ll be questions that match your characters! Stick to one section, or mix them up- whatever fits your OCs best!
I’m accepting suggestions for next week’s ask game genre, and soon the “order form” for custom ask games will be up! Hope it isn’t a pain in the neck waiting a bit longer, but while you do, sink your fangs into these delicious questions!

✨A Sort of Whumpy Writer's Block Ask Game✨
Currently in the throes of a many months long writer's block, as I know we have all experienced! So, have a game with zero pressure to actually break out of the block! Slightly geared towards whump writers but all may play!
🎬 What was the very first scene or image that popped into your head before you ever wrote a word for your OC?
🎭 Can you envision your OC in an alternate universe? What au would you choose and what role would they be in that world?
😍 What made you truly fall in love with your OC and made you want to continue their story?

Hi, Witchy-shortcake! Of course you can! Thanks for requesting this, and for your patience, here you go! I hope you don’t mind, but I took some creative liberty and made this one hero x villain, I think it really works for the combination you gave me :). Also, big thank you to @thelazywitchphotographer for the idea!

Villain ducked into an alleyway while the cops ran right past them. Breathing heavy, they laughed to themselves.
“Idiots,” they panted.
“Mm…”
Villain nearly jumped out of their skin, turning to the source of the sound. In the corner of the alleyway was a disheveled figure curled in on themselves. Villain breathed a sigh of relief- just some vagabond. Although, that vagabond was dressed in oddly shiny and bright clothing. Villain approached them and their eyes went wide as they held in a gasp.
“Hero!?” they exclaimed.
Villain took a good look at them. Hero’s suit was torn in several places, revealing angry gashes that were seeping red. One of them also dripped a bit of green- an infection. Their eyes were glazed over and stared into nothing, and their forehead was coated in a thin sheen of sweat.
Villain crouched down on Hero’s level, waving a hand in front of their face. No reaction from Hero. Drugged most likely.
“Who did this to you?” they whispered, mostly to themselves.
Without really thinking about it, Villain swept Hero up into a bridal carry, earning themselves a weak yelp from the crime-fighter.
“Shh, I’m sorry,” Villain said, “I’m not trying to hurt you.”
Villain started the trek back to their base, Hero going limp in their arms.
…
Hero came to several hours later. Villain sat up a little straighter from their spot at Hero’s bedside.
“Hi…” Hero croaked.
“Evening,” Villain replied, “who did it?”
Hero looked away, pretending not to understand them. Villain saw right through that.
“Hero,” they said, more sternly, “what happened?”
“It doesn’t matter now,” Hero mumbled.
“It most certainly does!” Villain countered sharply, “if you won’t tell me, I’ll find out myself, and when I do, I’ll make sure they don’t receive an ounce of mercy.”
“Okay, okay!”
Hero took a deep, shaky breath before continuing.
“I found out something I shouldn’t have,” Hero admitted “about my team. They found out about it and… well, this happened.”
Hero gestured to their wounds, which Villain had bandaged up.
“They couldn’t take me at my full power, so they, uh…”
“They drugged you,” Villain realized.
Hero nodded.
“They wanted it to look like an accident,” Hero said bitterly, “wouldn’t want their reputation ruined.”
“That’s going to be the least of their worries when I’m through with them,” Villain said, standing up.
“Villain-”
“Don’t try to stop me, little Hero,” Villain said, “I have no objections to making you a captive.”
“What are you going to do to them?” Hero asked.
Villain’s eyes darkened.
“Everything they did to you, and more,” they said, “only I have enough decency that everyone will know it wasn’t an accident.”
With that, Villain left the room to go make the necessary preparations. Hero was tempted to try and stop them, but they could barely sit up, much less get out of bed and go after them. Villain would make sure Hero’s entire team would pay.

💙 for the ask game, and 🔮, specifically can you talk a little about public humiliation since that's in your pinned post? that's one of my favorite tropes too <3
💙- I've been into whump since forever, especially starting around middle school. Funny story is, I didn't discover it was a thing until like 2 months ago when I was researching some concepts for Dasa. I discovered it on Pinterest of all places.
🔮- I have a few absolute favorite whump tropes, but public humiliation has a special place in my heart because it can enhance many other tropes. Oh, whumpee, you don't like being whipped? You'll like it even less in a room full of people laughing at your screams.
Also, I have gone through it myself (a lighter consensual form obviously) at both kink events and in basic training, It's intriguing what it does psychologically.
Additionally, I noticed an audience, or multiple tops or MTIs, created an escalation, either through wanting to show off or encouraging each other. An event would draw out longer where otherwise a single "whumper" (or MTI or Dominiant) would eventually lose interest or steam.
I just find public humiliation so fascinating in general, though.

From this ask game
“Help me!” Hero pleaded, the flames in their hands burning ever hotter.
Hero’s flames climbed up the walls of the abandoned building, licking the ceiling and charring it. Villain coughed as smoke filled their lungs, but they stepped forward anyway, shielding themselves from the blaze with their newly acquired ice powers. They reached out to touch Hero and recoiled when their skin burned their hand. Villain cried out and clutched their hand protectively.
“Sorry, I’m sorry!” Hero sobbed.
“It’s okay, I’ll be fine, you need to calm down.”
“I don’t know how to control it!” Hero wailed.
Villain reached in their belt pocket with their good hand and felt the syringe inside. They didn’t want to use it on Hero, but it was clear that they were going to destroy the city otherwise. Curse whoever had swapped their powers with Villain’s.
“I know you’re scared,” Villain said, taking the syringe out, “I’m going to help you. The flames are controlled by your emotions. The more intense your feelings, the bigger and hotter the fire.”
Without warning, Villain jammed the needle into Hero’s skin. Hero cried out in pain from the sudden pinch.
“What was that for!?”
“It’s gonna help you calm down,” Villain explained, “don’t be afraid. I said I’d help you, and I will.”
Hero’s wide eyes stared into Villain’s. They opened their mouth to speak, but only a slurred “Villain” came out. The crime-fighter’s knees buckled, the flames in their hands quickly going out. The building, however, was still quite on fire.
Villain coated their hands in ice and scooped Hero up into a bridal carry. They winced at the weight on their burned hand but started running out of the building anyway.
“I’m going to get you out of here, then find a way to switch our powers back,” Villain said.
Hero only stared up at them with glassy, unfocused eyes. They barely managed to nod. Their head lolled back, and their breathing became deep and even. Villain ran faster to their base, the building burning and crumbling behind them. Hopefully, they could get to the bottom of this.
