Daily Writing Experience

8AM: I WANT to write, but I’m working. 5PM: I can’t write, my mind is MUSH. 6PM: WHY do I write, my writing is terrible. 8PM: I have so many IDEAS and 2 hours before I pass out!

#just writing stuff #the comforting thing is #those 2 hours of bliss-writing #will be there #even if everything else sucked #(sometimes I cheat though... staying up late to write)#(it feels so good to be productive)#(I regret nothing!)

Before I try to sleep.

I wish I knew what lied ahead for you and I. I wish that I could safely say “us”.

I know it’s not that easy though. 1,291 miles away..17 days and 15 hours on foot, separate you and I. It’s that distance that has always been what decides how things go.

I will close that distance if only for a short while. I swear that by the end, when you hug me farewell, it won’t be the end and it will have been worth the wait. No not the end at all...a start.

I only hope you will take me as I am.

Though as I am now, it might not satisfy you entirely...and I fear that the most. That after all this time, I will have come to you unimpressive and lacking...and it will not have been worth everything we went through.

Im scared but I’m ready. I’m so ready for this to happen. So ready to know what your friends and family...and the ones you have loved or still love, have experienced by knowing you in person.

I’m willing to have hope still for that
