Things I need to see in Willow season 2 (were manifesting it bitches)

I need to see Jade get hurt protecting kit, And then a role reversal where kit has to be soft and take CARE of her (AUGH I’m such a slut for hurt/comfort)

I need kit struggling to figure out how to take off the cuirass, freak out, give up and then Jade figuring out how to close it immediately.

I need to meet Boorman’s mother. They mentioned it twice. It feels like foreshadowing

I’d like to see kit and Eloras friendship still be a little rocky but continue to develop. I don’t want them to so starkly go from hating each other to being besties.

I really wanna see more of the twins relationship because honestly I really didn’t buy Airks character in season 1. I completely forgot the quest was about saving him. So I think if they move away from a romance arc with Elora and instead develop kit and his relationship it’ll make him a much more compelling character to me.

I’d also like to see jade and Airk interact, because I feel like jade has been important enough to kits life that at this point he sees her as another sister. I also feel like their relationship is combative as hell and it’ll be so funny.

I’d kinda like to see kit come out to Airk or Sorsha or both. With Airk it would be a funny moment because he’d be like “yeah no shit. You and Jade are not subtle.” then with Sorsha I really need a moment where Sorsha finally sees kit for who she is and acknowledges it not in a hallucination.

Just the whole dark Graydon arch. I think it’s gonna be so good, but they need to save him because him and Elora are end game. I will be upset if Elora ends up with Airk. Also it sets up a possible redemption arc if they save him and I’m a slut for redemption arc’s.

I need to know if Mims is okay. Because I feel like their foreshadowing a burning of the shire situation but That might be too dark for Disney. it could have also been willows doubt and the crone trying to make him afraid. I do think the burning of the shire is more narratively significant tho.

I need to know what the fuck is up with Grayson’s dad because he’s shady

It would defo be cool to see madmartigan, but I look forward to it specifically for kits reaction. It’s gonna be a gut punch in the best way possible.

BABY JADE FLASHBACK!! I cannot stop thinking about her little red curls 🥺. And maybe more baby kit and Airk on the side.

Moral of the story is I need a season 2. Please Disney. PLEASE!! 🙏

A little message about it. I'm glad season 2 of Willow hasn't actually been cancelled, and I hope we actually get a sequel someday. Need to post this because I've seen a lot of people say the makers were in denial and the show will never come back and that's just an excuse for Disney + to slowly get rid of the show, except... well why not just cancel it ? And you ? Do you think we will have the sequel one day ?

Hey Questies!

Since many of us are gonna take a shot at writing our own season 2. I was thinking of making some polls to see what people want most.

This could be to help other writers. But mostly for myself, Id love to know what story beats people want or expect and what people think is most important I include.

Im gonna make a series of polls. Asking various "should i do this or this" type stuff. But, I thought I would preemptive it by making this post.

If you have stuff you want to see/read from s2, please add a comment or reblog and put in the tags. (Comments are fine. I know people dont also like to reblog.)

Also please put theories if you like.

Things Im most curious about.

How long it takes the party to get back to Tir Asleen.

Do they help Scopria with the slave rebellion before they get there? Or do they need Tir Asleens help to form a siege against the Trolls?

How big is the world? Should the group have to travel to all 9 realms to unite them? Or do they meet dignitaries at a ball or something and get the alliance there?

What creatures do you most hope to see? (Example: Unicorns, fairies, mermaids, dragons, ect.)

Are the Fey still alive? Are they in the Grove? Should the party go to the grove?

How do they save Graydon? Do they travel to the underworld/Wyrm dimension to save him? (And save Mads at the same time?) Or do they meet Graydon on the battle field while he is corrupted. And have to fight him first?

How awesome and cool should the power couple Sorsha and Madmartigan be when they reconnect? Do they join the fight? Do they kiss when they see each other again?

Should the Wyrm be killed? Can he be killed? Or should he be put to sleep for another thousand years? Or is Graydon an avatar for the Wyrm, and saving him is redeeming the Wyrm? Does the Wyrm need to exist to bring balance to the force?

Should their be an epic grand sweeping lord of the rings type army battle? Or is the day saved far away with most unaware?

Any thoughts on Mims? How should her journey be? Does she save Rannon from the slave mines? Or does Willow? Or does Scorpia?

Does Willow become the greatest sorcerer who ever lived? Of course he does. But how powerful should we make him? How powerful does someone need to be to be THE GREATEST?

Airks redemption. How should that go? Is he still somewhat corrupted? Or is he fine now and just needs to find his place? Who does he fall in love with? Im pretty sure Im gonna make a "create Airks love interest poll".

Whats Boormans Mom like? This I will for sure need help on. Also, where is Boorman from? Galadoorn like Madmartigan? Or Angora? Whats Angora like? I imagine something middle eastern or like India. But Im white, so I def need imput.

Also I need imput on any culture/realm beyond what we know. I would love if we all came up with places.

Willow 2022 1x08/Season 1 Finale Thoughts

And so the wonderful little show I've grown fond of on Wednesdays ends for now.

I really enjoyed this season a lot. I think it took a bit for this show to find its footing but it eventually turned into a pretty solid fantasy show. And doing it in a refreshing way at that.

For people like me who didn't watch the original 1988 movie, I would say that the new series did its job. I became deeply invested in yet another fandom, so any show that manages to do that has my approval.

I'm really excited to see where the journey goes next, especially with everything that happened in this last episode of season 1. It really left a lot open for another season. And that very final scene of the book sliding into the shelf next to Volume 2 and 3. I mean, that's practically hinting at two more seasons at least, right?

And more Tanthamore.

And more of Boorman.

And more of Willow being a gruff old wizard dad to Elora.

And we obviously need Elora to find Graydon again. I really thought he died there for a whole minute. But I was so relieved.

And hopefully Airk doesn't become corrupted again. I got nervous that Kit would have to k word her own brother. But I would be excited for a redemption arc.

And now we do the thing where we wait for the news of a next season.

I didn't really have many expectations going into this show when it started- but now this show gives me hope. I will manifest with everything I have for them to give us a season 2. I hope they're aware that there ARE people who watch this show and have been genuinely enjoying it.

I know I want the adventure to continue.

okay but i need to know bc idk which sources are accurate, is there any chance at all that willow will be able to come back? like i know when it first just got “cancelled” then turned out to just be a hiatus, they said they’d be coming back after a while to let the actors/cast and crew have more opportunities. not to mention the actor’s/writer’s strike. then the whole disney removing the show happened and i didn’t know if that like completely just erased the hiatus as well or what? i haven’t seen any of the cast and crew comment or make statements on the removal or anything (unless i just missed it) other than one of the creators saying they were for the removal but still hopeful??

im just confused on if there is or isn’t a chance for a renewal with either disney or a different company (id much rather have a diff company bc disney clearly doesn’t give a single shit) like the show was literally on hulu so it could switch to a hulu streaming platform. ive seen everywhere how it’s cancelled and not coming back but im just confused on if that has 100% been confirmed by a creator or if they’re still hoping for a comeback somehow?

Finished another Willow Season 2 Vampire Lore AU Teaser! Heavy on the Kit x Jade or Tanthamore focus as always.

Baxkground S2 AU narrative: I wanted to have the narration flow and show Jade clearly fighting with Kit, sicne she can't see Kit's true identity (since undead magic distorts vampire faces until or if you figure out who they really are) and bevsuse of this - they'd butt heads a lot more. Jade might even start some (sword) fights because she's pissed this vampire is hanging around her kids and she doesn't know why. Obviously she blames vampires for (what she believes) to have been the reason Kit never came home after going off to save the (S2 AU) confirmed deceased Airk.

Which leads us to this.

Additionally I really love Sickick's original music, so using 'Mind Games' has been on my roster for a while.
