HEADCANON TIME
If Wind can see ghosts then he probably sees the champions from botw, and other ghosts that hover around the links. Maybe legends uncle is with him so Wind sees him or maybe some of the Koriki are surrounding Time. Either way Wind would be hearing a lot at once which probably isn’t very fun, so Wind likes to go on walks with Wolfie because Wolfie only has one ghost and it’s a little girl (TEHhEE another headcanon for a separate character 🥰) ,the girl doesn’t talk much and it’s calming for him

What was the point of Scrooge's trip with the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come? On a structural level, it makes sense--three is the fairy tale number, and you can't visit the past and present without also including the future--but on a character level, it doesn't quite seem necessary. Showing a man that he'll die alone, unloved, and unmourned seems like the strategy you take as the last-ditch effort to convince a guy that he needs to change his ways. But that situation doesn't apply to Scrooge. He started softening immediately after he first arrived in his past. By the time he finished with the Ghost of Christmas Present, he was fully onboard with the need to reform, so the Ghost's vision of his future seems like unnecessary cruelty. Why show him all this when he was already planning to change his ways?
A few things come to mind. One is that this vision of the future wouldn't have affected Scrooge unless he had already changed his ways. A cold, hard businessman could have seen his lonely death as just the way of the world, might have viewed the people who stole the clothes from his corpse as just people doing what's practical in this world. He needed to relearn the value of the intangibles--human connection, respect for others--to see the true horror of the lonely death and the vultures who defiled the dead man.
But why the horror? Can't he reform without being threatened with doom? It's possible--but it's also possible such a reform would be temporary. After all, Scrooge started as a friendly, loving young man, but retreated into himself and his business out of fear of poverty and fear of the way the world looks down upon poor people. Even if a reformed Scrooge started on a course of Christmas charity, there was always a chance that the enthusiasm would fade, and the worldly fears would start creeping back in. The only way to beat those fears is to give him something to fear that's even worse than poverty. He needs to see the horrible end that his selfish ways would lead to, so he won't be tempted to slide back into them.
There's also the fact that seeing his death makes him ecstatically happy to find that he's alive after the Ghost is gone. Had Scrooge been spared the vision of his future, he might have been happy to find himself on Christmas Day, but his joy would have been nowhere near the manic glee he experiences after coming back from the future. Now, he doesn't just get a new start--he gets a second chance. Coming back from his own grave makes him mindful of his death, but it also makes him hyperaware of the fact that he's still alive. He isn't in the ground yet. He still has time to do good and make connections with others so he doesn't die alone.
Seeing the past reminded him of the innocence he'd lost. Seeing the present reminded him of the people whose lives he was missing out on. Seeing the future reminded him that death is waiting, so it's important to live virtuously while we can. All three are important because all three brought him outside of himself and taught him to value the wider world, just in time to live through another Christmas Day.

Man I fucking love fics where Wind is portrayed as a deity/god, especially when the rest of the chain realise he’s probably more powerful than any of them. Go little man, kick some ass <3

I'm seeing a lot of posts worrying about the lack of news, so I just want to say that nothing about this situation is abnormal. The BBC generally doesn't announce airdates until a couple of weeks beforehand (outside of the big shows that is).
If I remember correctly, for series 3 they didn't even get a trailer ready before it aired.
Maybe they want it on around Halloween so it won't air until the very end of September or even after, who knows.
It's coming. Especially with the screening this week, I'm sure there'll be something very soon.

What if Iumaka literally named their son Araya though. Like, the exact name of the pseudo-deity they worship.
It's unclear to me as of right now why they'd choose such a loaded name for their son but I'm majorly intrigued by the idea of Araya the Moon and Araya the Prince That Never Was being conflated and confused with each other mythology and oral history wise, with one being given the other's aspects and stuff. The divine origin thing stuck onto the prince. Son of a king thing being assigned to the Moon-child. All that sort of nonsense.
There being some myths and stories about the prince apparently being sent by the gods to be Kaykhusraw's successor whose death caused the curse that befell his father's line, only to be countered by another storyteller that no, the prince wasn't sent by the gods, it's because the prince was literally Araya's incarnation and that made the gods panic because they sure don't want someone powerful as that ruling Pars so they sent a prophecy down to someone and told Kaykhusraw to eliminate the threat. Some say Iumaka themself received a prophecy or smth and that's what made them choose that name for the kid. Who knows the truth? No one.
Also Hilmes being stuck in the “Temple” aka the place that was likely the base of operations for Team Kaykhusraw, and the place Araya the Younger grew up in, getting to experience its Haunted-ness™ wholesale. I've posted about its general vibes on here but I'm not terribly satisfied with it. Hmm.

@snowshinobi NO BUT LITERALLYYYYYYYYYYY
Like Maggie hates being able to see ghosts for MANY reasons, but one of the pettier reasons is that once ghosts realize she can see them, they'll beg her to pass on messages to people (People who won't believe her! Most people are going to be uncomfortable with some random teen girl coming up to them and going "btw your dead relative says hi"), but this also results in her knowing a bunch of random shit because ghosts both LOVE to gossip and also CONSTANTLY try and bribe her to pass on messages by telling her things she didn't know before.
She'll be out with Jenna somewhere and just be like "oh btw you left your keys on the counter" and she only knows this because some random ghost is trying to get her to tell someone something by telling her something she forgot
She also frequently accidentally makes eye contact with ghosts. She'll accidentally make eye contact and then do that "oops didn't mean to look directly at you like that sorry" sort of head turn, which the ghosts are like. What. the fuck. Did she just??? look at me????
That's also how the ghosts found out about her, when she was a baby and just learning how to track things with her eyes and would stare DIRECTLY at ghosts and they'd be like. what the fuck. why is this baby following where i go. what. Every ghost ever is infinitely more weirded out by her than she is by the ghosts
