Grazie agli amici di @sommelier_wine_box ho avuto il piacere di assaggiare un vino poco noto poiché prodotto da un piccolo produttore del Lazio, Marco Antonelli: Kosmos riserva 2015 (uve Cesanese 100%). L’azienda, in quel di Olevano Romano alle porte di Roma, ha solo 3 ettari. Non ha un sito internet ma solo una pagina Facebook. Pochi fronzoli, molta dedizione e concretezza. Una artigianalità che nel vino si vede, si respira, si sente. Con potenza e piacevolezza. Già nel bicchiere con un colore granato intenso, vivo. Uno sprigionarsi di odori che sanno di ciliegia marasca quasi sotto spirito, prugna matura, arancia sanguinella, mora. Si apre un bouquet di fiori come viola e rosa canina per poi passare al tabacco dolce, alla noce moscata, alla vaniglia. Noti dolci per un vino che in bocca poi esprime la sua freschezza nonostante l’età. Caldo, sapido, secco. Bella la persistenza ma soprattutto i tannini che sono al limite dell’eleganza poiché si integrano perfettamente donando all’equilibrio un valore incredibile. Stupenda infine la chiusura bocca e la pulizia che offre. Kosmos è un vino che è una spanna sopra molti altri. Un vino che si integra bene con la carne specialmente alla brace ma, vi assicuro, può essere sorseggiato senza che stanchi. Le vignoble de Bergerac s’étend dans le département de la Dordogne (sud-ouest de la France), autour de la ville de Bergerac, sur 93 communes, dont fait partie la commune de Monestier.

Le Château Monestier La Tour produit du vin sous trois appellations : Bergerac, Côtes de Bergerac et Saussignac. La surface totale exploitée est de près de 30 hectares, 17 hectares en cépages rouges (63% de Merlot, 30% de Cabernet Franc, 5% de Cabernet Sauvignon et 2% de Malbec) et 12,5 hectares en cépages blancs, secs et doux (61% de Sémillon, 30% de Sauvignon Blanc et 9% de Muscadelle).

La plus grande production annuelle du Château Monestier La Tour se fait sous l’appellation Bergerac, qui réunit environ 35 000 bouteilles de vin rouge, 30 000 bouteilles de vin blanc et 5 000 bouteilles de vin rosé (Cadran, Château Monestier La Tour).

L’AOC Bergerac est située au sud-ouest de la Dordogne, sur les bords de la rivière du même nom. La superficie du vignoble en production est proche des 13 000 hectares et s’étend sur 93 communes du département.

Le vignoble est implanté sur des sols variés de calcaires, de boulbènes, de sables, d’argiles et de limons. Le climat océanique, aidé dans le Bergeracois par les reliefs de la vallée de la Dordogne et les vents marins qui la remontent, tempère l’atmosphère et conserve une humidité élevée toute l’année. Cette dernière favorise le développement de la vigne, surtout lors des étés chauds et ensoleillés.

Colli Berici e Tai. Un luogo e un vitigno. Entrambi poco noti. Tra Vicenza e Padova, i Colli Berici sono un luogo tranquillo e pacifico capace di racchiudere una cultura enoica fatta di tradizioni e semplicità delle quali sono rimasto affascinato. Perché quando si arriva qui si capisce quanti luoghi belli ci sono ancora da scoprire in Italia. Il Tai Rosso invece: se lo chiamassi Cannonau o Grenache o Gamay sarebbe più noto? Non ha la struttura di un Cannonau ma sono parenti strettissimi. Leopoldo è il nome della bottiglia che ho assaggiato. E’ della azienda biologica Tenuta Mancassola ed è stata un regalo (insieme ad un prosecco che tra poco apro), molto gradito degli amici di Athena e in particolare di Michele Mancassola. Il vino si presenta di un bel rosso al confine tra porpora e rubino. Vivo direi grazie alla sua trasparenza e luminosità frutto di grande freschezza che si troverà poi nel bicchiere. Al naso è immediato riconoscere le fragoline di bosco e i lamponi perché avvolgono in maniera gentile ma decisa. Poi arrivano i fiori rossi e una nota di pepe appena accennata. Sentori semplici e senza complicanze grazie ad una fermentazione in acciaio, maiolattica e subito imbottigliamento. Il primo sorso fa subito apprezzare la freschezza intravista nel colore così come la morbidezza al palato. Non è molto caldo nè particolarmente sapido cosa questa che rendono la beva facile e immediata. Bilanciato e comunque persistente ne fanno un vino sottile che si apprezza cioè non per la sua ampiezza quanto per freschezza e morbidezza. Gli abbinamenti. Io personalmente l’ho abbinato con una bistecca di pollo ed è stato un bel tripudio di sapori. Un buon vino insomma che merita una gita sui Colli Berici. Sur des arômes de groseille, mûre sauvage. Un vin très aromatique. Une bonne longueur en bouche avec une finale sur le cuir, les épices et le sous-bois. 📜En résumé📜 : Une belle cuvée de Cabardès rouge que j'ai beaucoup appréciée.
