I want the Kyoshi Novels Adapted
I’d like to see an adaptation of the Kyoshi Novels “Rise of Kyoshi” and “Shadow of Kyoshi” adapted for animation either as two movies or a television series.
I’d love to see Tit Mouse or Blue Spirit do it since I doubt Nickelodeon Animation will do it (they didn’t do Korra which was done by Studio Mir and Tit Mouse).
I think it would be interesting if it had a higher rating and a more adult audience . The novels were very dark and tragic to me. The vibe seemed closer to Blue Eye Samurai than Avatar the Last Airbender. ATLA was TV-Y7 and Korra was TV-PG. I’d like Kyoshi to have a TV-14 rating.

So Allegedly Infinite Wealth is 100 hours... not that you can't already spend that long on the games if you really want to, but I'd say it's the first time that could be said to be the base experience rather than a time only hardcore completionists are likely to get.
Yokoyama was talking at length about wanting to make the game worth the price tag since the team is incredibly conscious about the value of the players' time and money. They essentially feel they owe players ten times what they paid, so they're aiming for "an enjoyable 100 hours, but also an unforgettable 100 hours."
If they pull it off, I personally think it'd be 100% worth it and not just a "well other studios are doing it so we can get away with it too" price hike... I'm at least happy to know that's not the intent, and I'm intrigued to see how everything pans out and what the ratio is between story and side content
oh yayaya i saw that article this morning!!! 100 hours is actually so unfathomable to me in terms of an rgg game- i mean y7 was At Minimum around 45~50 hours but when i think of other RPGS that easily dip into 70's and 100's of hours, i'm not too surprised to see LAD start to climb towards those numbers now. it'd be such a jump in rgg's terms tho, so i'm TRULY curious to see where the nearly doubled gameplay hours comes from..
i really appreciate yoko's respect not just to RGGS but also to its customers: they want to make a great product, but they also don't want to sacrifice what they want to do to do that in the process

redditors really act like they're being slighted that y7 and y8 are turn based like they don't have at 15 other titles from rgg studio that are beat'em up and a fucking tps title.

So you know how in Yakuza 7 (massive y7 spoiler) Daigo disbanded the tojo clan? Now i know rgg studio would never be brave enough to do this, but i would give anything for Daigo to decide that since he no longer has to keep up appearances, he can, at the age of 47 or whatever, finally dress emo again. I want this. Gimme 40+ year old emo Daigo in y8. I need it

ALRIGHT I WATCHED THE CLIP AND OH MY GOD???!?!!!! IT’S RATED TV-Y7 HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY MANAGE TO SHOW LEO BLEEDING OUT AND THEN PROCEED TO LET HIM SAY “BADASS” THIS MOVIE IS LITERALLY EVERYTHING AND IM CONVINCED THEY KILLED THE CENSORS
Also the animation is absolutely s p e c t a c u l a r so far and w o w I can’t wait to see how traumatized these kids get
I'm highly convinced that since it's on Netflix, they just allowed them to get away with that even though it's a TV-Y7 movie. And that is extremely badass that they are able to do that.
Pfft, I hate how we're so excited to see how traumatized these kids will get. Casey was already badly traumatized basically seeing both of the turtle bros, with one of them basically being his father figure get incinerated while watching helplessly, isn't that enough? /j
But OOOOOH that animation tho! I seriously love this studio and what they can make with what they're given.

watching dead end and its very cute and funny i just wish the art style hadnt gotten a flash calarts studio standard makeover. like the original cartoon hangover style was sooooo refreshingly messy and i get they needed to clean it up in more ways than one to get that tv-y7 rating but i mean cmon. like i know its bc netflix is skimping on shelling out the money for quality stuff bc the background design is really good.

Yoga Fitness Centre Near Me in NYC
Yoga is one of the most popular workouts in NYC, and for good reason. The city’s busy residents can find a moment of relaxation in this calm and serene practice. Pure Yoga offers a luxury studio where yogis can escape the hectic pace of the city.
This calming space features candlelit sessions meant to make you sweat. Choose from a variety of classes including ariel yoga and circus-inspired workouts.
Modo Yoga NYC
Modo yoga fitness centre near me is a great place to get your sweat on. It has a variety of classes, from gentle to challenging, and is accessible to all levels of experience. Its instructors are excellent, and the studio is clean and well-maintained. It also has great amenities, including lockers and showers.
Tumblr media
Modo Hot Yoga is a unique yoga series that combines the precision of therapeutic yoga with foundations of traditional yoga in a specially heated room. The heat helps to strengthen, tone and loosen the muscles, and reduces stress. The yoga series also promotes detoxification through the skin and blood, and orients students to everyday vitality and long term health.
The West Village location is a short walk from the 14th Street subway station, and is also accessible by bus. Parking is available in the area. If you’re not able to make it to the studio, Modo also offers classes online. Their online community connects students to their favorite instructors and gives them the flexibility to practice from home.
Y7 Studio
The hot yoga studio Y7, which has locations in Flatiron, Soho, Union Square, and Brooklyn, is a sweat drippin’, beat bumpin’ candlelit yoga centre around me experience. They ditch the chanting and slow music, and instead play the latest hip hop beats. The classes are led by an instructor and are open to students of all levels. There are no mirrors in the class to encourage participants to focus more on their own practice.
Y7’s founder, Sarah Levey, was frustrated with the lack of energy and upbeat music in traditional yoga classes. She conceived of a hip-hop yoga class that would incorporate the energized beats of rap music. The result was a more challenging and fun class, which is now offered in several locations.
Financing platform Bonside recently provided $300,000 to Y7, which hopes to expand with the help of this new digital platform. The brand will also launch a new omnichannel membership, which includes synced music. The app will feature UMG’s artists, and users can purchase a digital-only or hybrid membership.
YO BK
YO BK is located in Williamsburg and offers Bikram Yoga, Baptiste Power Yoga and Inferno Hot Pilates. Kate says that offering these different forms of fitness under one roof has been a big part of the studio’s success. The studio’s students are diverse and the teachers are approachable and caring.
As her business has grown, Kate has been able to shift her focus from teaching classes to teacher training. She’s passionate about making yoga more accessible to people of all backgrounds. Her mission extends beyond her local community – she’s supporting Africa Yoga Project by holding fundraisers, hosting the Handstands, Hugs and Happiness Tour, and leading a workshop in Kenya.
YO BK offers 27 classes per week and has both 60 and 90 minute options. It is recommended that students arrive at least 15 minutes before class to register and get settled. It is also important that students dress in appropriate clothing – light, fitted exercise clothes are best.
Humming Puppy
Humming Puppy is located in the heart of Flatiron, a short walk from Union Square. Designed to support yogis of all levels, its soothing dark studios offer a quiet space for meditation and movement. The soundscape is centered around a hum that creates a deep sense of calm and focus.
The hum, recorded at Melbourne’s SoundLab by Arup, is a combination of frequencies that were designed to enhance and deepen yoga centre  practice. It also reflects the pulsation of Himalayan crystal singing bowls and promotes a sense of grounding. The brand was co-founded by Jackie Alexander and Chris Koch, who first launched Humming Puppy in Melbourne. Since then, they have opened locations in Sydney and New York City.
For those looking to get a little more playful with their exercise, the brand offers “puppy yoga” classes. During these classes, students practice traditional poses while playing with six-week-old puppies. The dogs benefit from the experience, too, as it helps socialize them before they find their forever homes.

hiiii I would very much love to get into Yakuza but the sheer amount of games is very intimidating. Could you give a quick rundown of what is the "correct" order to play them? pretty please okay love you
Yeah, happy to!
I have two recommended entry points, and which one you pick may just come down to a matter of personal taste. We’ll get to those in a second. Either way, the series is good to do in chronological order, which is conveniently also in order of title number. It’s not necessary to do it this way, as most of the stories are separate, but you’ll get more out of them in chronological order.
Yakuza 0
Yakuza Kiwami
Yakuza Kiwami 2
Yakuza 3
Yakuza 4
Yakuza 5
Yakuza 6
Yakuza: Like a Dragon (7)
(Kiwami and Kiwami 2 are updated remakes of the first two games, which were originally on PS2, so you can basically treat them as 1 and 2) (There are also a few spin-off games you can get into if you decide you like the series)
As for those entry points, my two suggestions are:
-> Yakuza 0 - One of the best in the series and a very common starting point. It’s a prequel game that takes place before all the others. It was made between 5 and 6, but it works successfully as an entry point for new fans, too. A shining star of the team’s writing and storytelling.
-> Yakuza: Like a Dragon (lots of fans also call it Yakuza 7) - The latest release in the mainline series and also a big turning point. This game introduces Ichiban, the new lead protagonist after Kiryu, and along with him changes the battle style from a beat-em-up to turn-based. It has some allusions to previous game events and characters, but largely stands as a fresh start, easy for new fans to access. A very fun, emotional ride.
If you want to start at the beginning and really see what all the fuss is about with some big name characters, start at Y0. If you want a taste of how the series currently feels or you prefer turn-based combat, go for Y:LaD, then go back for the others.
Aside from that, I also really recommend the Judgment games! They’re made by the same studio and take place in the same world and timeline as the Yakuza games, with similar mechanics, humor, and storytelling. But they are separate stories - no need to play any Yakuza before them. They follow Yagami, disgraced lawyer turned private investigator, and dive into some dark mysteries. There are currently only two games, Judgment and its sequel, Lost Judgment.
My personal top 3 favorites are Y0, Y7/LaD, and Judgment, all three of which are great stories and approachable for fans new and old. Either one is a great place to jump in!

So if [spoiler] can survive being [spoilered] by a fucking [SPOILER] and they SHOW US THE DAMN BODY, then goddammit [spoiler] can survive being [spoilered] with a normal ass [spoiler] when we didn’t even see him die on screen. FUCK IT WE BALL.
