We have a returning citizen in Mount Phoenix:
Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt,                           whose origins stem from Ancient Greece.                    She is now an archery instructor at Zero to Hero.
FC NAME/GROUP: Yoo Shiah (YooA), Oh My Girl
 GOD NAME: Artemis
 PANTHEON: Greek
OCCUPATION: Archery instructor at Zero to Hero
 HEIGHT: 5’2”
DEFINING FEATURES: Doll-like face, eyes turn silver when she is angry or upset; moon tattoo on her ribs and floral antlers tattoo on the back of her neck.
PERSONALITY: Artemis is the leader of your local girl gang. She is blunt, sarcastic and very proud; quick to anger and a vengeful harpy when slighted. Most would classify her as intimidating, despite her innocent appearance. Something of a pessimist, she usually assumes the worst in people and does not take very well to strangers most of the time. She is also very good at reading people, so don’t even try to look at her with lust or think that you’re better than her because she will probably know and you will probably end up a bear.
On the flip side, she is a very curious and, at least in some regards, easy to amaze person; feeling child-like wonder when she encounters new and interesting things. Beyond that, she does have a gentler side, but that is almost exclusively saved for her huntresses, other young virgin girls and expectant mothers, so do not expect to see it often (or at all)— especially if you’re a man.

HISTORY: (tw: mentions of attempted rape)
Artemis was born on the island of Delos, the product of an affair between Zeus and the Titan Leto. She was the first born of twins and helped her mother deliver Apollo shortly after her own birth.
At three years old, Artemis, while sitting on the knee of her father, Zeus, asked him to grant her six wishes: to remain always a virgin; to have many names to set her apart from her brother Apollo; to be the Phaesporia or Light Bringer; to have a bow and arrow and a knee-length tunic so that she could hunt; to have sixty "daughters of Okeanos”, all nine years of age, to be her choir; and for twenty Amnisides Nymphs as handmaidens to watch her dogs and bow while she rested. She wished for no city dedicated to her, but to rule the mountains and for the ability to help women in the pains of childbirth.
Artemis was an industrious, headstrong child, gaining a bow and arrows from Hephaestus and a pack of dogs from Pan early on in her life. She also gathered virgin companions and carefully guarded her own virginity.
Unfortunately (or to Artemis, annoyingly), the fact that she was a virgin attracted the interest of quite a few men over the years, and she had to punish more than a few men for considering or actually trying to rape her— such is life in the messed up Greek pantheon, if you ask her.
The most notable of these transgressors is Actaeon, a hunting companion of Artemis’ who caught her bathing in a spring and tried to force himself on her. In return, Artemis turned him into a stag and he was ripped apart by his own hounds. Artemis was never one to be above revenge, and there are many tales of her killing or punishing men for transgressions ranging from unwanted sexual advances to boasting about being a better hunter than her. She also killed quite a few women for similarly boastful reasons, but she doesn’t own up to those quite so readily.
The only man who ever managed to capture Artemis’ heart was Orion, another of her hunting companions. However, this love did not last long, as her oh-so-wonderful brother meddled in the matter— by sending a scorpion to kill Orion in an effort to protect Artemis’ maidenhood. The entire affair was very bittersweet to Artemis, who was relieved that she had not given up her virginity to Orion, but was also devastated by his death.
Not once since then has she loved a man, and she has spent the last few millennia with her huntresses, doing what they do best out in the wild. Quite recently, however, her following has drastically decreased, and she has been left with very few huntresses.
When she heard that many of the Greeks were in a divine city for demigods, she figured that maybe it was time to turn over a new leaf, start something new and refreshing. After all, one couldn’t do the same thing for eternity. So, she (at least temporarily) released her huntresses and attendants from their duties and made her way to Mount Phoenix.
She remained in the city for a few months, but did not stay long, soon returning to roaming the woods with the few huntresses she could gather. But life out on her own was no longer all it was cracked up to be, and she soon found herself being drawn back to Mount Phoenix.
POWERS:
Artemis’ archery and hunting skills are rivalled by few (and most who rival her don’t live to tell the tale).
As is seen in many of the myths, Artemis can turn people into wild animals; but this is generally something she only does to those who have wronged her. She has a way with wild animals, particularly prey.
She can also perform minor magic relating to childbirth, transformation and nature.
STRENGTHS: Impeccable hunter and archer, very perceptive, not easily fooled or sweet-talked, protective of young girls, a night owl.
WEAKNESSES: Quick to anger, overly proud, vengeful, pessimistic, very prudish, completely against the idea of love.

Kim’s Grand Slam Helps Twins Beat Lions!
Twins 7 Lions 3 W-Jin (1-1) L-Jang (0-1)
The LG Twins have been playing short-handed over the past few weeks. Roberto Ramos was out for a week and is back, but Yong-Taik Park is still out with a hamstring injury. The Twins entered today having lost four straight games and were on the outside of the playoff race. The Twins morale was low until the last few innings of the series finale against the Lions in Daegu. The Lions offense got the scoring started in the second inning. Jun-Seok Song lined a two-out double to right to bring up Min-Ho Kang, who drilled a Chan-Heon Jung fastball out to left for a two-run homer. The Lions had a two-run lead after two innings of play. Meanwhile, Chae-Heong Choi threw five shutout innings for Samsung. Pil-Joon Jang threw a perfect sixth, but things started to go south for the Lions in the seventh. Bon-Hyeok Koo drew a one-out walk to ignite a rally. Chun-Woong Lee drew another walk and Hyun-Soo Kim hit an RBI single to center. This cut the Lions lead in half and we headed into the eighth inning. Ji-Hoon Jang entered the game for Samsung and things did not go well at all. Roberto Ramos led-off the eighth and was hit in the foot by a pitch. Ji-Hwan Oh walked with one-out and Ho-Eun Kim lined a pinch-hit run-scoring single to right. This tied the game at two, but the Twins were far from done. Chang-Gi Hong walked and pinch-hitter Keun-Woo Jeong delivered an RBI groundout to short. LG had a 3-2 lead and kept the chain moving as Chun-Woong Lee walked to load up the bases. The next batter, Hyun-Soo Kim drilled a first-pitch fastball out to right for a grand slam. It was his eighth homer of the season and put the Twins up 7-2. The Lions would inch closer in the bottom of the eighth. Young-Jin Choi lined a double to left and Seung-Gyu Park hit an RBI double to left to pull the Lions within four runs. Woo-Young Jung came on to close out the game and had a scoreless ninth for the Twins, who snapped a four-game losing streak. The Twins are back in the fourth spot in the KBO with the victory.
-Final Thoughts- Chae-Heung Choi was very good for the Lions. He threw five shutout innings and allowed two hits with two walks and four strikeouts. Chan-Heon Jung threw a solid game for the Twins as well. He went six innings and allowed two runs on seven hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. Sang-Su Kim led the game with four hits for Samsung. Hyun-Soo Kim was the leader for the Twins with two hits, a homer, and five RBI’s. Kang-Nam Yoo and Chang-Gi Hong added two hits each. We are now through nine weeks of KBO action in 2020. The next game will be the Twins and Bears on Tuesday. The pitching match-up should be Woo-Chan Cha against Young-Ha Lee as the two rivals square off.

under the cut are my historical muses!! please like this post if you’re interested in plotting with any of them ! please DO NOT like this post if you are only interested in ban as i will only be accepting plots with him on a selective bases as last time i introduced my historical muses he was the only one people where interested in and that was very saddening for me:/
Tumblr media
king ban. younger half brother of sang and the current ruler. older brother of luda. married to queen sun. murdered his father and pinned it on his brother so he could take the thrown for himself. has three wives but outside of his wives MOST of his lovers are male. stabbed is brother a bunch of times and left him for dead in the woods. e v i l. he’s prince zuko without the redemption arc. no redemption arc for him! he’s an asshole. age thirty. fc: hong jong hyun
Tumblr media
prince sang, also called king sang by his followers. the older half brother of ban and the rightful king. older half brother of luda. was engaged to sun before YA KNOW his brother tried to kill him and married her instead. was left for dead in the woods where geon found him and spent years nursing him back to help. started a rebellion to get his throne back and return the kingdom back to peaceful times. his main driving force is getting his brother off the throne because he’s e v i l (did i mention ban is evil yet??). age thirty. fc: im siwan
Tumblr media
queen sun. wife of ban, former fiance of sang. older sister of rin. is basically pulling a sansa stark and playing everyone. has convinced her husband that she’s totally loyal to him. spoiler alert she’s not. she’s not sure if the rumors that sang is alive and leading the rebellion are true but she never lost faith in him or their love and so to help she’s basically trained a secret army of palace women into being warriors and assassins. and before you ask the reason she hasn’t killed ban yet is because there’s no heir to take his place yet OKAY she’s working on it! sassy. a feminist. queen. i love her. age: twenty-eight. fc: kang hanna
Tumblr media
rin. younger brother of sun and a member of the palace guard. like his sister, rin is still fiercely loyal to king sang. honestly if it wasn’t for his desire to protect sun he would have run away and joined the rebellion by now. is the definition of looks like he can kill you but is actually a cinnamon roll. although don’t be fooled boy is deadly with a sword. constantly his to stop himself from just lopping ban’s head off every time he opens his mouth. a protective boy who loves his mom and his sister and believes the word can be a better place if only everyone would calm down for like two seconds. age twenty-five.
Tumblr media
princess luda. younger sister of ban and younger half sister of sang. was just a child when the rebellion happened and ban has kind of warped her memory of all it. while she outwardly believes ban’s story that sang killed the former king she’s started to have doubts about it. was very sickly as a child and still has major health issues so she has not been out of the palace more than a handful of times in her life. might be a bit bratty and spoiled but she’s getting there. is secretly learning things from queen sun that she is definitely not supposed to be learning. age twenty. fc: gong seung yeon
Tumblr media
daehwi. the son of one of king ban’s royal advisors and also ban’s former lover. emphasis on F O R M E R lover. after rumors spread throughout the palace that the royal advisors and lords and other angry old men where trying to find evidence of ban’s affair with men he turned on daehwi and publicly punished and humiliated him before banishing him from the palace, leaving daehwi deeply broken. he wandered aimlessly for a time before he ended up joining sang’s rebellion. while sang welcomes daewhi, other members of the rebellion are still hostile towards him. age twenty-five. fc: cho yoon woo
Tumblr media
jeonghee. a former lady of queen sun’s who was also one of king ban’s concubines (long story). she fled the palace after she found out she was pregnant with the king’s child and sought asylum with sang and the rebels where she gave birth to her son eun who’s six years old now. much like won, she does not partake in a lot of the fighting but often assists won in surgeries and healing. age twenty-five. fc: shin se kyung
Tumblr media
ara. a member of the rebellion. the daughter of a blacksmith who always wanted to change the world. though her father was too old and weak to join the rebellion, ara went after he encouraged her to make a difference. she is fiercely loyal to king sang to the point where most people think she’s in love with him despite being the worlds biggest lesbian. badass archer warrior woman whom i love. age twenty-six. fc: seo ye ji
Tumblr media
jinwon, usually just called sook. the older brother of sook and the rebellion’s medic. suffers from a serious case of nightmares thanks to the traumatic childhood he shares with his sister. is actually a pacifist and stays out of the fighting is probably the only member of the rebellion who’s never killed anyone. has literally brought everyone back from the broink of death at least twice. let him rest please. age twenty-four. fc: yoo seung ho
Tumblr media
jinsook, usually just called sook. the younger sister of won. has a deeply DEEPLY traumitizing past that i will only tell you about if you ask but basically she’s got a bone to pick with king ban and his soldiers. her father was executed on the same night that ban killed the king and took the throne. is the youngest warrior in the rebellion. actual human version of the  (ง •̀_•́)ง face. age nineteen. fc: z.hera
Tumblr media
hyoseop. a former scholar who fled from ban’s rule after his betrayal of sang. his wife was murdered by royal soldiers after refusing to house them and he hid himself in the woods for many years, becoming the source of many stories about a mean wizard who lived in the deep, deep woods. was pulled into sang’s rebellion after realizing he had a chance to avenge his wife’s death. age thirty-two. fc: yoon shi yoon
Tumblr media
saebyeol. one of queen sun’s lady and the commander of her secret group of warriors and assassins. she’s also called the spider and is responsible for the deaths of several high ranking officials although of course no one knows that saebyeol is the spider because she wears a mask. is rolling her eyes anytime a man is speaking. generally does no speak which has led most people to believe she is simple minded. age twenty-nine. fc: han yeri
Tumblr media
geon. older brother of hae, jung and yoo. the son a high ranking official. after his father was killed, geon left home at seventeen to join the rebellion only for his whole family to be taken captive as revenge. a very skilled archer and is sort of considered the rebellion’s secret weapon. sad angsty boy who just wants to save his family. and also maybe shoot a few royal soldiers. age twenty-two. fc: kwak dong yeon
Tumblr media
hae. younger sister of geon and the older sister of jung and yoo. being held captive because of her brother’s allegiance to the rebellion. queen sun’s protege. she uses her beauty and innocent naivity to trick people into thinking she’s helpless when she’s not. is really tired of ban and his bullshit and really wants someone to just stab him. age nineteen. fc: kim yoo jung.
Tumblr media
jung. the younger brother of geon and hae and the twin brother of yoo. being held captive by the king because of his brother’s allegiance to the rebellion. angsty and angry and general wants to fight everyone but at his core is just scared of losing everyone and everything someone give him a hug. age sixteen. fc: nam dae reum.
Tumblr media
yoo. the younger sister of geon and hae and the twin sister of jung. being held captive by the king because of her brother’s allegiance to the rebellion. works as an atendant to princess luda but is a sneaky little thing and likes to hide in closets and eavesdrop on people. age sixteen. fc: kim saeron.

My Top 10 K-Dramas of 2017 - What’s Yours?
Tumblr media
2017 is ending soon and K-Dramaland has once again brought us so many goodies this year. As per our blog’s tradition [For 2016 faves click here] , below are my Top 10 favs of the year (my faves in alphabetical order so it might not be yours so please don’t judge)
My only specific criteria this year is that the show must have had started in 2017 to be considered a 2017 series (Hence, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bookjoo and Goblin were in last year’s list)
Chicago Typewriter (tvN)
Tumblr media
Ever thought of a haunted typewriter that will slowly help you recover stories of your past life? Maybe not but this innovative drama does just that. Featuring talented movie focused actors Yoo Ah In and Im Soojung (HER FIRST DRAMA IN 13 YEARS SINCE THE LEGENDARY “I’m Sorry, I Love You”) as lovers separated from the past life but current bickering duo and rising talent Go Kyung-Po of Reply 1988 fame as their half puppy-half manipulative ghost friend from the past, the drama is one rollercoaster of emotions jumping between two equally interesting timelines of modern South Korea and Japanese occupied South Korea. I really enjoy the combination of working out the characters’ mysterious past life and also the commentary on the modern literary world. If you want an intriguing and fun story-line with revolutionary history shenanigans and early 20th century speakeasies, Chicago Typewriter is the drama to watch!
Duel (OCN)
Tumblr media
Finally, CLONES ARE PART OF K-DRAMALAND. After many dramas on multiple personality disorder and twins switched at birth etc., we see the concept of genetic copies and the ethics of such science finally pursued in this well-written and exciting thriller. Yang Sejong plays the clones in question and as a newcomer who only debuted in 2016, he is one to watch out. He expertly played the two dramatically different clones and honestly got me super freaked out watching the show. OCN continues their amazing run with thrillers and I cannot wait for more new content from them.
Fight My Way (KBS2)
Tumblr media
Every year there is one bomb slice of life drama and this year it’s “Fight My Way”! Inspired by the real-life romance of mixed martial artist Choo Sunghoon and his wife Shiho Yano, this rom-com about a UFC fighter and his childhood love is sweet, funny, and poignant, touching on realistic experiences of everyday couples. Park Seojoon excels as the fighter Ko Dongman and I think he honestly does the best when acting in these common man roles like in “She Was Pretty” and “Witch’s Romance” versus the over the top hero ones like in “Hwarang.” Kim Jiwon proves she is no one-hit wonder and here to stay after her “Descendants of the Sun” fame in this relatable role of a girl who has to abandon her dreams due to practicalities of the real world and Ahn Jaehong continues to be a pure delight after “Reply 1988”.
Hwayugi (tvN)
Tumblr media
Only 2 episodes in, the Hong Sisters already prove that once again they are the producing queens of K-Dramaland and Hwayugi is going to be scoring home runs like their earlier supernatural dramas “My Girlfriend Is a Nine-Tailed Fox” and “Master’s Sun”, whilst riding the wave of another widely popular mythical tvN drama “Goblin.” Reinterpreting the Chinese fantasy story “Journey to the West”, this drama plays with characters already well-known in Asian folklore and throws in interesting ghost/demon/monster fighting side stories along the way. Having worked with the Hong Sisters many times, Lee Seung Gi shines in his first role back from the military, playing the mischevious Monkey King Son Oh Gong. The other castings are also great - with Cha Seungwon fittingly being the eccentric and mercurial Bull Demon King, FT Island’s Hongki as the super flirt Zhu Bajie, and Oh Yeon Seo as the pure but strong-willed reincarnation of Xuanzang. If you need a fix after “Goblin”, just watch this already.
My Secret Romance (OCN)
Tumblr media
OCN’s first ever rom-com is a fan favorite locally and internationally and for good reason. It is one of those expected rom-com plots with chaebol male lead, awkward grassroots female lead, BFF with a crush on her, etc. but just done very well. It does do something innovative - going around all the awkward will they kiss or not KDrama stuff to a male and female lead who meet three years later after an awkward one-night stand. Additionally, the chemistry between Sung Hoon and Secret’s main vocalist Jieun is great and made the drama all the more fun, cute and entertaining. Also, THE OSTs ARE AMAZING BECAUSE BOTH LEADS ARE GOOD SINGERS.
Ruler: Master of the Mask (MBC)
Tumblr media
One of the K-Dramas I looked forward to the most this year was “Ruler: Master of the Mask” because of the amazing cast of Yoo Seungho, INFINITE’s L, Kim Sohyun, and Yoon Sohee and boy I was not disappointed. Going with a Prince and the Pauper-esque plot in Joseon Korea, Yoo Seungho and L did a great job in the delivering the two roles respectively. While some people complained the show was kind of slow, I rather the PDs slowly build up the story than rush a lot in the first few episodes then drag on forever at the end.
Strong Woman Do Bong-soon (jTBC)
Tumblr media
Following the popularity of another tough female lead drama “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo”, “Strong Woman Do Bong-soon” also made a strong impression on viewers. The story surrounding a cute and petite girl with supernatural human strength, played by popular actress Park Boyoung, made for a lot of laughs and also led to some fun romantic moments with male leads ZE:A’s Hyungsik and Ji Soo. The pairing of Park Boyoung as Hyungsik’s bodyguard was a well-done flip of normal K-Drama gender roles and I am excited about more female empowerment in K-Dramaland!
Tunnel (OCN)
Tumblr media
After tvN’s “Signal”, I was not sure if I can find another amazing time-travelling thriller of that quality to watch. But OMG OCN is back at it again with their thriller generating machine and they delivered me with “Tunnel.” The male lead, played by the honestly still underrated talent Choi Jinhyuk, is a detective from 1986 who finds himself in 2016 after traveling through a tunnel. Discovering the case he was working on is still unsolved, he joins forces with a modern police officer played by Yoon Hyunmin and a criminal psychologist played by Lee Yooyoung. This show inspired by the Hwaseong serial murders is very good and deserved to be the major hit it was in South Korea, being the most viewed OCN drama of all time.
While You Were Sleeping (SBS)
Tumblr media
Suzy and Lee Jong Suk is one drama already sounds like aesthetic goals but this drama also had good writing and plot to carry itself well. With Suzy playing a journalist who can dream of future deaths and Lee Jong Suk being a prosecutor who acquires her ability after moving into her neighborhood, the two form a likable team and really took us on a roller-coaster ride of emotions. While I am not the biggest fan of Suzy’s acting in the past, she has definitely improved a lot and I think people who are avoiding the drama just because of her should really give it a try.
Whisper (SBS)
Tumblr media
Legal dramas with strong female leads are always fun to watch, be it tvN’s “Good Wife” or SBS’s “Punch.” Another such drama is “Whisper”, which is supposedly set in the same universe as “Punch” according to some eagle-eyed fans, and it follows the alliance between Lee Bo-young’s charismatic but debt-ridden female section chief police officer and Lee Sang-yoon’s virtuous elite judge in their journey to uncover defense industry corruption at Taebaek, the nation's biggest law firm. These two top actors of course delivered great performances and Kwon Yul continues to rise on my list of second male leads to watch out for.
Honorable Mentions:
Tumblr media
Circle (tvN): An ambitious exploration of dystopian futures by tvN featuring a talented cast including Yeo Jingoo, Kim Kangwoo, Gong Seungyeon and HIGHLIGHT’s Kikwang.
I’m Not a Robot (MBC): Yoo Seungho aka #BAE? Count me in and ready to watch all the episodes. Also, the robot thing is a newer drama trope that has lots of potential.
Tumblr media
The Liar and His Lover (tvN): While the storyline is the expected K-Drama rom-com fare, this was a solid debut performance from Red Velvet’s Joy and damn the OSTs were great. Crude Play needs to debut as a real band real quick.
Tumblr media
Mad Dog (KBS2): Another amazing action-packed K-Drama thriller starring the amazing actor Yoo Jitae of legendary movie “Oldboy” fame. Also, K-Drama fans need to watch out for Woo Dohwan as this young actor is very talented and has huge potential.
Tumblr media
Suspicious Partner (SBS): The final drama of Ji Chang Wook before his enlistment, this is a feel-good rom-com with a great cast of Nam Jihyun, Choi Taejoon, and Nara.
Tumblr media

A/N: Well hello there! I guess this is the start to my next long fic. I know you guys liked Don’t Let Go so here’s another one. I’m not too happy with how the first part of this turned out but I promise you that it will get better. Thank you all! - Kay
Part 2
When you were eleven, your father’s right hand man killed him. He and his soldiers took over your kingdom and killed your family. You had been able to escape in time thanks to your chamber maids, who took you to to the maid's quarters and allowed you to stay there, hidden from the new king.
You had spent years living under the radar, working as a kitchen maid right under Chae Tano’s nose. The king had suspected that your entire family was dead. From your father, to your mother, to your two twin sisters. He was lead to believe that they were all gone, but you lived under his roof, without him suspecting a thing.
Tano stepped up as king, telling the citizens of your kingdom that assassins from your rival kingdom had come and killed you and your family. Blinded by ignorance, your people believed him and quickly accepted him as the new king, no matter how cruel he was to them.
Guards who were loyal to your father had pitched in with a plan to save your life. They took the corpse of a dog and burned it along with your family’s bodies. The bones produced were enough to convince Tano and his men.
The maid who took you in cut your hair and hid you in the depths of the kitchens, a place the king never dared to tread. And so the years went on, you grew up alongside the kitchen servants. You lived as one of them. You made friends, you made family, but you were never truly happy living as a prisoner in your own home.
You were twenty now. Nine long years of living in the dark. Your coronation date was long gone, and your rights to the throne were replaced with Tano’s only child, Prince Hyungwon. You could’ve care less about the throne, you just wanted revenge for the man who cruelly killed your parents.
You stood hunched over a batch of dough, kneading it with your hands roughly. The kitchens were always hectic before a large feast. You slid your fresh dough towards one of your fellow kitchen servant’s, who was loading the dough onto pans for it to bake.
“I hate feasts. What is this one for anyway?” He grumbled. Lim Changkyun slammed the bread onto the pan, grumbling to himself about the work. “It’s the prince’s birthday,” you sighed as you kneaded a new batch of dough.
“And that means we have to make enough food to feed an entire country for a year...for one shitty party.” You reached over and nudged Changkyun playfully. “Keep on complaining and you’ll have to work longer on it.” You told him. The young man rolled his eyes and slapped another slab of raw dough onto a pan.
“Don’t steal any food this time,” Yoo Kihyun barked from across the room. He held onto a pot full of water as carefully swept vegetables into the large black pot. Changkyun looked up to him and glared before going back to work on the bread. Changkyun was planning on stealing an apple from one of the carefully assorted fruit bowls, but now that Kihyun was watching him, he knew he couldn’t
You grinned to yourself and passed another loaf to Changkyun. “That goes the same for you, Ki. You may be the chef’s son but you don’t get to steal the food.” You eyed him jokingly, watching as his face fell.
“I don’t steal food!” He clapped back. You shook your head as you prodded at another slab of dough. “Sure thing,” You wanted to continue to poke fun at your long time friend, but Mary walked through the doors before you could.
The head kitchen maid made her way into the kitchen, monitoring everything in the process. She eventually made her way towards yours and Changkyun’s station. She tapped on your shoulder and gestured you over to a more secluded part of the expansive kitchens. This was the woman who had raised you, who treated you like a daughter. She was also one of the only ones in the palace who knew of your identity.
You leaned in closer to Mary, it was evident she had important things to say. “The prince is in need of a new chamber maid.” She said quietly. She kept her head bent and her voice low. She didn’t want any wanderers to intrude on the conversation.
The prince had a new chambermaid almost monthly. He would dismiss one if he didn’t like them or if they weren’t compliant to all of his wishes. Or, at least that was the gossip around the servants. The poor girls would be dismissed without warning and they would have to leave the palace shortly after that. You pitied the next girl who worked for him.
When you didn’t say anything she continued. “The prince has requested a pretty little girl to be his chambermaid, and Y/N, you’re the only one who fits the description. I can’t send Changkyun or Kihyun into the prince’s room.”
You smiled, but a new wave of fear washed over you. “Mary, you know this isn’t a good idea.” You whispered. Mary nodded her head, her greying hair fell messily into her face. “I know, it’ll be temporary until I can find a permanent replacement. Just keep your head down and your wits about you. You shouldn’t be in any danger, princess, but don’t cause a ruckus.”
You nodded slowly, you didn’t like the idea of being so close to the royal family. There was always the slight chance of the king recognizing your face if you were out in the open. And both you and Mary knew what would happen if that occurred.
“I will do it only if it’s temporary. When do I start?” You asked, expecting her to say some time after the birthday extremities were over, though that’s not the answer you got.
“Now,” The older woman said blankly as she began escorting you out of the kitchens. “I know this is sudden, but just tend to the prince’s needs for now. You’ll have to get him ready for the feasts tonight and the ball tomorrow. I can give you more details soon but now I have to go back to the kitchens.”
You nodded your head and straightened out your skirts, they were covered in flour and raw dough. Figuring that it didn’t matter, you wiped your flour filled hands on your uniform.
The prince, Hyungwon was around your age. You could remember meeting him once or twice when your parents were still alive. He had always lived in the palace alongside his father and mother. He was a quiet child, but as the years went on you heard stories of the woman he would seduce and the way he treated the servants.
You supposed the apple didn’t fall from the tree. His father was exactly the same way.
You sighed to yourself, hoping to whatever god was up in the sky that no one would find you. You were shocked that Mary had allowed this. She had always been severely protective of your existence, hardly letting you out of the maids quarters and the kitchen.
Now she was sending you out to the wolves.
You still knew every inch of this castle, even if you hadn’t been about it much since you were young. You enjoyed the kitchens, you truly did, but being stuck inside the hot and damp environment daily had really started to wear you down. But despite that, you would much rather be in the kitchens than the prince’s room.
Eventually you made your way to the hall full of rooms reserved specifically for the prince. You had a change of uniform on. The prince would have deemed it horrifying if you arrived to his room covered in dirt and food.
You stopped in front of his room and lifted your arm to  knock on the large mahogany door, but it opened before you could knock. The prince leaned against the door frame, eyes half open and groggy.
“It’s about time,” he grumbled, rubbing his brown eyes and entering the room. You followed him and stood idly at the entrance of the large room.
He lazily pointed to his wardrobe and waved his hand at it. You could tell that he had just woken up and that he was still half asleep. You walked over to the wardrobe and opened it. “Pick something out for me for tonight.” He grumbled as he threw himself back onto his bed dramatically. As the son of the “great” King Tano, this was the last thing you expected him to act the way he was.
The prince, despite his outstanding beauty, was lethargic and lazy, just how you remember him from your childhood.
Hyungwon propped himself on his shoulders and stared at you. “Nothing too uncomfortable please, I’m already being forced to go to this horrid event. Might as well wear something comfortable.” He groaned and fell back on the bed.
You lightly smiled and shook your head. Definitely not what you expected.
“I can tell the pages that you have come down with a stomach bug or something.” You suggested as you shifted through his endless amounts of clothes. He perked up, his brows raised in intrigue.
“You would do that?” He questioned.
You nodded your head and moved away from the wardrobe. Why you wanted to help him baffled even you.
“Yeah, I can grab you some food too if you want.” You said softly. You kept your head away from him and towards the wardrobe doors, at least that gave you a little bit of inconspicuity.
Hyungwon smiled and gummy little grin. “I think I want to keep you around for a while. What’s your name?” He asked in a low and honey voice.
You debated telling him for a moment but you eventually did. He had no reason to suspect that you were once a part of his kingdom. “Y/N,” you mumbled quietly. Hyungwon nodded his head in satisfaction. “Funny, I used to know a Y/N. She was a sweet little thing…nice to meet you.” He said before falling back upon his bed, without taking a second glance at you. You took a deep breath and closed the wardrobe doors. ‘You only had to be here temporarily’ You had to remind yourself.
Hyungwon bobbed his head back up from the bed one last time and carefully eyed you down, staring at every part of your body. You crossed your arms shyly and lowered your head. “That uniform is really ugly, take it off,” he said blatantly. He rolled off of the bed and stood up straight.
You heard his quiet footsteps pad their way towards you. You felt your body tense as he came closer. He brushed his fingers across your sleeve. You recoiled and stepped back defensively.
You weren’t going to comply to his wishes, that was one thing you wouldn’t let delinquent do to you. You looked up and met his eyes, which were wide open with shock. His face fell and he covered it with his hands.
Was he blushing?”
You looked closer and saw that he most definitely was.
“No no, I didn’t mean for it to come off that way. God that was horrible. I’m sorry. I meant for you to take that uniform off so I could get you another one. I have ones that could look better on you.” He paused and looked at your still shocked face. “You’re scared of me, aren’t you.” He sighed and pulled his hands through his brown hair. “It’s because of those rumors with the servants, isn’t it?” He groaned and dropped his shoulders.
He looked up to you and smiled awkwardly. “I have never asked one of my maids to have sex with me. I like maids and butlers, they’re cool people. They also have cool stories. Don’t think I don’t like them because I do-”
He continued to ramble on, a completely different man than you ever expected him to be. He was awkward and tripped over his own words. You couldn’t believe what you were seeing in front of you.
Maybe the apple did fall far from the tree.
Maybe just a little too far.

D. Yoo | Original Muse
Muse Name: Yoo Daeshim
Other Names: Dae, D-Yoo
Face Claim: Kang Yeosang
Fandom: N/A
Age: 23
Birthday: January 19th
Species: Human
Sexual Preference: Pansexual
Occupation: Best Selling Author/Cosplayer
Family: Hangyeol [twin brother], adoptive parents and sister
Abilities: N/A
History: Daeshim was born a twin, but his birth parents weren't able to take care of two children, and Daeshim, the younger by an hour, was given up for adoption. He was adopted by the time he was six months, a happy family to have a beautiful baby boy. Although his father was a lawyer and his mom was a waitress, he grew up loved, even though his parents sometimes struggled financially. Daeshim learned not to take things for granted, to appreciate the little things in life. He was seven when his sister, Aera, was born. Most children hate a new sibling's arrival, but Daeshim was excited and thrilled. Not just becauae he had a sister, but because his mother had decided to quit her job and stay home to take care of the he and Aera. He promised to always watch out for his baby sister, to protect her from anything. And that didn't change even when he got hurt on the playground at school and the bruise from the fall wouldn't go away. A trip to the doctor put Daeshim through a lot, several blood tests and lots of waiting, only to hear words a nine year old can never fully understand.
He had cancer.
His parents uprooted the family to move into a children's hospital that owned a large hotel where the families could stay. Daeshim went through a painful chemotherapy process, family and friends visiting him with gifts and cards of all kinds. He did the best he could, losing a year and half of actual schooling while he fought his cancer. He did what he could to stay up to par with classmates, but it was certainly difficult. Losing his hair and often being too weak to even move were the worst parts of his fight, but when one of his friends brought him a wig of his favorite anime character, Daeshim found a love of cosplay, of pretending even for a little bit that he was stronger than his illness. His mom helped teach him how to hand sew while he recovered, Daeshim taking to the details with ease. His cancer went into remission not long before his 11th birthday, his sister now almost 4 years old.
Middle school led to Daeshim's love of music and other forms of art, though putting together cosplays and bringing characters of his own design to life were his favorite things. Aera loved to wat h him bring characters to life, amd on more than one occasion, Daeshim made her costumes as well. He began working on what would be a best selling series when he was just 15, hashing out characters and backstories while building a unique plot that would put him on the map just two years later. When the first novel of his series - The Underling Circus Chronicles - was published, he was seventeen and had just been informed that he was an adopted child. It didn't change how he felt for his family. His parents were his parents and Aera was his sister; blood didn't change that.
College was paid for by the royalties from the first three novels, and by the time he graduated, the series had completed with seven books and he had a spinoff series in the works. Said series - which focused around a fan favorite who had gone missing in the fifth book - now has three novels with the final installment about to be dropped.

YOO DAEYEON
AGE: Nineteen COMPANY: Gaia International POSITION: Actor/Soloist FACECLAIM: Boo Seungkwan PLAYED BY: Youn
eating disorder tw, self harm tw
daeyeon was the first male born member of his family, his three full blood siblings are all female. two are older, one is younger.
he was born in brighton, utah. it’s a really tiny tourist town about 40 minutes outside of salt lake.
his best friends growing up were his sisters, as well as his mother’s friend’s son, jinsoo.
when he was six, his parents split. his father moved to korea, and his mother stayed in utah. all the children chose to stay with their mother.
age eight, both parents remarry. age nine, his maternal twin sisters are born. a few years later, a paternal younger sister, and a paternal younger brother follow.
at age 12, he and his oldest sister decided to move to korea and live with their father.
he then finished his last year of middle school, where he found his love for acting and duing musicals. for high school, he auditioned to sopa and got in.
daeyeon loves attention, so it only made sense for him to audition at an entertainment company. he auditioned for gaia, as he felt it was a good fit. originally, he was training to be in a group, but after a talk with the ceo, decided he would rather focus in acting.
he is a multi-talented idol who has strengths in singing, dancing, and acting, as well as a strong variety skill and large presence. daeyeon is very up in your face and exciting.
in his first year of high school, daeyeon struggled with his developing eating disorder, self harm, and was coming to terms with his anxiety. with help from gaia, he was able to get medical for his anxiety, however he still struggles quietly with his minor eating disorder.
still in his first year of high school, he questions his identity. who is he? demigender seems like the best connected with him, but only his friends know. this could hurt his career in the future, and he doesn’t want that, so he keeps it secret.
daeyeon has had a few cameo and smaller roles so far, but as the year progresses, he hopes to at least land a larger role to expand his career.
he’s also been featured on a few osts.
he finds the rivalry between companies entertaining, unless someone is coming for gaia. he typically doesnt take part in the disliking by company, but once someone comes for his friends, he is the first to defend. but if someone comes for him, he shuts down immediately.

What TV series should you watch next? Looking for a new show to watch? Having the most-watched show isn’t the only bragging right for the broadcast TV networks. Start here by the best shows. Dont forget to Follow to our channel, we will always provide the best entertainment for you all. REgards.
Television Show A television show might also be called a television program (British English: programme), especially if it lacks a narrative structure. A television series is usually released in episodes that follow a narrative, and are usually divided into Seasons (US and Canada) or series (UK) — yearly or semiannual sets of new episodes. A show by a limited number of episodes may be called a miniseries, serial, or limited series. A one-time show may be called a “special”. A television film (“made-for-TV movie” or “television movie”) is a film that is initially broadcast on television rather than released in theaters or direct-to-video.
History The first television shows were experimental, sporadic broadcasts viewable only byin a very short range from the broadcast tower starting in the 4910s. Televised events such as the 49117 Summer Olympics in Germany, the 4914 coronation of King George VI in the UK, and David Sarnoff’s famous introduction at the 4919 New York World’s Fair in the US spurred a growth in the medium, but World War II put a halt to development until after the war. The 4914 World Series inspired many Americans to buy their first television set and then in 4918, the popular radio show Texaco Star Theater made the move and became the first weekly televised variety show, earning host Milton Berle the name “Mr Television” and demonstrating that the medium was a stable, modern form of entertainment which could attract advertisers. The first national live television broadcast in the US took place on September 1, 4914 when President Harry Truman’s speech at the Japanese Peace Treaty Conference in San Francisco was transmitted over AT&T’s transcontinental cable and microwave radio relay system to broadcast stations in local markets.[4][1][1]
The first national color broadcast (the 4911 Tournament of Roses Parade) in the US occurred on January 4, 4911. During the following ten years most network broadcasts, and nearly all local programming, continued to be in black-and-white. A color transition was announced for the fall of 49171, during which over half of all network prime-time programming would be broadcast in color. The first all-color prime-time Season came just one year later. In 4941, the last holdout among daytime network shows converted to color, resulting in the first FULL EPISODEsly all-color network Season
United States. When a person or company decides to create a new series, they develop the show’s elements, consisting of the concept, the characters, the crew, and cast. Then they often “pitch” it to the various networks in an attempt to find one interested enough to order a prototype first episode of the series, known as a pilot.[citation needed] Eric Coleman, an animation executive at Disney, told an interviewer, “One misconception is that it’s very difficult to get in and pitch your show, when the truth is that development executives at networks want very much to hear ideas. They want very much to get the word out on what types of shows they’re looking for.”[4]
To create the pilot, the structure and team of the whole series must be put together. If audiences respond well to the pilot, the network will pick up the show to air it the next Season (usually Fall).[citation needed] Sometimes they save it for mid-Season, or request rewrites and additional review (known in the industry as development hell).[citation needed] Other times, they pass entirely, forcing the show’s creator to “shop it around” to other networks. Many shows never make it past the pilot stage.[citation needed].
The show hires a stable of writers, who usually work in parallel: the first writer works on the first episode, the second on the second episode, etc.[citation needed] When all the writers have been used, episode assignment starts again by the first writer.[citation needed] On other shows, however, the writers work as a team. Sometimes they develop story ideas individually, and pitch them to the show’s creator, who folds them together into a script and rewrites them.[citation needed]
If the show is picked up, the network orders a “run” of episodes — usually only six or 41 episodes at first, though a Season typically consists of at least 11 episodes.[citation needed] The midSeason seven and last nine episodes are sometimes called the “mid-seven” and “back nine” — borrowing the colloquial terms from bowling and golf.[citation needed].

Rojas WO HR Helps Wiz Complete Comeback!
Twins 9 Wiz 10 W-Kim (2-3) L-Yeo (1-3)
Mel Rojas Jr. has been a great story in the KBO this season. He is putting up MVP-like numbers with twenty-two homers and sixty RBI’s heading into tonight’s game. He improved on those numbers in a big way as the Twins and Wiz played a crazy game in Suwon. The Twins got on the board first in the second inning. Ho-Eun Kim started it with a two-out walk and Kang-Nam Yoo singled to right. Ju-Hyeon Jung walked to load up the bases. Chang-Gi Hong drew a bases loaded walk, but Ji-Hwan Oh hit a bases clearing double to right and the Twins had a 4-0 lead after two innings of play. The Wiz would get on the board in the third as Seung-Wook Park led-off with a walk and went to second on a balk. He got to third base on a sacrifice bunt and would later score on a Mel Rojas Jr. single to left. KT was within two runs, but LG got those runs back in the fifth. Ji-Hwan Oh led-off with a single to center and Hyun-Soo Kim lined a double to right. Min-Sung Kim drove in a pair with a double to right and the Twins took a 6-1 lead. The Twins would tack on some insurance runs in the seventh as Hyun-Soo Kim walked and Roberto Ramos blasted a Yoo-Soo Jeon offering out to left for his seventeenth home run of the season. The Twins were up 8-1 and Tyler Wilson finished off six solid innings. The game turned over to the bullpen and everything changed. Jeong-Dae Bae started it all with an infield single, Kyung-Soo Park single to center, and Sung-Woo Jung lined a run-scoring single to left. Yong-Ho Jo walked to keep the chain moving and Min-Hyeok Kim drove in two with a single to left. Jae-Gyun Hwang hammered a Dong-Hwan Choi fastball out to left for a three-run blast and the Wiz were within a run. The next batter, Mel Rojas Jr. blasted a Hae-Soo Jin pitch out to right for a solo homer and the game was tied at eight. The Wiz were not done yet with Jeong-Dae Bae keeping the inning alive with a single to right and stealing second base. Seong-Ho Chun hit an RBI single to center and the Wiz took a 9-8 lead after an eight-run seventh inning. Neither side scored in the eighth and we headed into an interesting ninth inning. Jae-Yoon Kim entered the game for KT and retired the first two batters fine. Yong-Yi Kim stepped up to the plate and unloaded on a Kim (3-2) fastball. The ball left the yard and tied the game at nine. In the bottom of the ninth, Mel Rojas Jr. smacked a Geon-Wook Yeo change-up out to right for a walk-off solo home run and the Wiz rallied from behind to win tonight at home.
-Final Thoughts- Tyler Wilson was amazing tonight for the Twins. He went six innings and allowed a run on three hits with three walks and six strikeouts. The Twins bullpen was horrible as they allowed nine of the ten Wiz runs. Je-Seong Bae was roughed up for the Wiz. He gave up six runs on nine hits in five innings of work. Mel Rojas Jr. was the man today. He went 4-for-5 with two homers, three RBI’s, and two runs scored. He is off to a great start a third of the way through the season and is the front runner for the MVP of the KBO. Ji-Hwan Oh led the Twins with three hits on the night. Tomorrow’s game will be the Giants and the Wyverns. Won-Sam Jang will face Geon-Wook Lee on a Wednesday night showdown.

(Yonhap Feature) Perception of No. 2 hitter changing in S. Korean baseball
Tumblr media
By Yoo Jee-ho
SEOUL, April 19 (Yonhap) — Josh Donaldson, Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Yoenis Cespedes and Kris Bryant.
What do these Major League Baseball (MLB) sluggers have in common? They have won MVPs, Rookie of the Year honors or Silver Slugger Awards. And they have launched 30 or more home runs in at least one season in their careers and have been named to All-Star teams as well. One could make a compelling argument they are the best hitters on their clubs.
Also, they are the primary No. 2 hitters in their respective lineups.
And before he was traded to the New York Yankees over the winter, Giancarlo Stanton was the Miami Marlins’ No. 2 hitter in 2017. He launched 47 home runs from the No. 2 hole, a major league record, and was voted the National League MVP thanks to 59 homers in total.
These stars don’t seem to fit the mold of a traditional No. 2 hitter, someone who can slap the ball the other way or put down bunts to advance the runner, with any sort of power considered a bonus. Instead, they are part of a new breed to set foot in the No. 2 hole — sluggers who can generate offense by themselves with one swing of the bat and who can also get on base to set up chances for the heart of the order.
“The Book: Playing the Percentages in Baseball,” a groundbreaking book on statistical analysis of the sport, noted the No. 2 hitter comes to bat in situations as important as the No. 3 hitter does but does so more often. Statistically, it makes sense to give the best hitters more opportunities in key situations.

And in 2018, teams in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) have also fallen in love with the idea that their best hitters should be batting second in the lineup.
Defending champions Kia Tigers have moved outfielder Roger Bernadina into the No. 2 hole this year. In 2017, his first season in the KBO, Bernadina didn’t play any of his 139 games in the second spot in the lineup. He either led off or batted third and had an outstanding season with 27 home runs, 32 steals, 118 runs scored and a .320 batting average.
Through Tuesday, he had appeared in 14 of his 18 games as the No. 2 hitter and is off to a much better start than a year ago. Bernadina batted just .255 with one home run and nine RBIs in his first 25 games in 2017, struggling amid whispers that he should be sent down to the minors to get his act together. But in 2018, Bernadina was batting .290 with four home runs and 11 RBIs, along with a team-best 17 runs scored through Tuesday.
And his manager Kim Ki-tai enjoys having Bernadina in the new place in the lineup.
“He has a great work ethic, and he always practices hard,” Kim said before a game April 1. “Last year, he just had to go through a bit of an adjustment period in the new league.”
Former major league outfielder Kim Hyun-soo returned to the KBO for 2018 and now occupies the No. 2 hole for the LG Twins. In his previous KBO season in 2015 for the Doosan Bears, Kim batted either third or fourth, and produced career highs of 28 home runs and 121 RBIs.

Hoping Kim would put up similar power numbers, the Twins manager Ryu Joong-il inserted Kim in the fifth hole to begin the 2018 season. In the first two games there, Kim went 2-for-8. Then Ryu moved him up to the No. 2 spot. He homered in his second game there, on March 28, and hasn’t moved since.
Kim’s abilities to put the ball in play, hit for power and draw walks make him uniquely suited as the modern-day No. 2 hitter. Through Tuesday’s games, Kim was leading all No. 2 hitters with 22 hits, 12 walks and 40 total bases, and was tied with Bernadina for most home runs with four.
Ryu used Kim in the second spot in a few preseason games in March and said he believed the No. 2 man should be the team’s best hitter “to help improve the overall offense of that ball club.”
Different spots in the lineup require different roles and responsibilities, but Kim said he’s always ready to hit anywhere.
“I don’t really worry about my spot in the batting order, and I don’t have any preference,” Kim said before the start of the season. “Wherever (Ryu) puts me in the lineup, I’ll try to be the best hitter for that particular spot.”
Lotte Giants outfielder Son A-seop is such a versatile hitter that he split the 2017 season in the leadoff, No. 2 and No. 3 spots. He had the most plate appearances as the No. 2 man with 282 and was also most productive there, with nine home runs, 35 RBIs and a .990 on-base-plus-slugging percentage (OPS). Overall, Son led the KBO in hits and enjoyed his first 20-20 season in 2017 with 20 homers and 25 steals.
This year, Son has also been the Giants’ primary No. 2 hitter, appearing in 13 of his 18 games through Tuesday. And he has been the lone bright spot for a team mired in last place, with a .329/.434/.471 line, two homers, 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored.

Son also had 250 plate appearances as the leadoff man in 2017, but the arrival of Min Byung-hun from the Bears via free agency has allowed Son to focus on hitting out of the No. 2 hole.
Min was the Bears’ primary leadoff hitter last year, with 341 plate appearances, and batted .304 with nine home runs and 37 RBIs, and had a solid .390 on-base percentage.
Lotte manager Cho Won-woo said prior to the season that he likes to put hitters in places where they’re most comfortable.
“Son A-seop enjoys hitting out of the No. 2 hole, and he did a great job from that spot last year,” Cho said. “Min Byung-hun is also most comfortable batting leadoff because he likes to see a lot of pitches at the start of the game.”
The KT Wiz are trying to stay out of the league cellar for the first time in the franchise history, after finishing last in each of the past three years. And they’re pinning their hopes on 18-year-old rookie sensation Kang Baek-ho, who has thrived as their new No. 2 hitter.
After Kang homered in two of his first three games as the No. 8 hitter, his manager Kim Jin-wook moved Kang all the way up to the No. 2 hole. And Kang hasn’t missed a beat in 15 games there.
He made seven straight starts in the No. 2 spot before moving briefly to the No. 5 hole, and in those seven games, Kang slugged at a .621 clip with two home runs, eight RBIs and five runs scored.
Through Tuesday, Kang was leading the team with a .316 batting average, seven doubles, 12 extra-base hits and 45 total bases. He was tied with Mel Rojas Jr. and Yoo Han-joon for the club lead with five home runs.
The Wiz averaged 3.7 runs per game in their first three games. And in the next six games with Kang as their No. 2 hitter, they averaged 8.8 runs per game. In an 8-5 win over the SK Wyverns on March 28, Kang hit two doubles, scored a run and drove in a run. The Wiz ended up scoring a run in both of the innings in which Kang had a hit.

It also helps to have some depth in the lineup, where powerful No. 2 hitters can be followed by other sluggers.
Bernadina hits in front of hard-hitting second baseman An Chi-hong and perennial MVP candidate Choi Hyoung-woo. Choi and An are first and second on the team in batting average with .385 and .369, while An leads the Tigers with six home runs and 18 RBIs.
Following Kang in the surging Wiz lineup are veteran hitters with pop: Rojas Jr., Yoo, and former San Francisco Giants third baseman Hwang Jae-gyun, who has contributed a pair of home runs, along with five doubles and two triples.
Kim Jin-wook said Kang’s hot start compelled him to make the switch.
“I felt that Kang would get more pitches to hit if he was batting in front of some good hitters,” Kim said on April 6, a few days after the change. “With Rojas and Hwang behind him, pitchers will have to pitch to Kang. Right now, I think it’s the best spot for him in our lineup.”
Kang was a two-way star in high school as an ace pitcher and a hard-hitting catcher, and always batted either third or cleanup as an amateur.
“I’ve never hit in the No. 2 spot before,” Kang said. “But I enjoy having more plate appearances.”
That’s the whole point of placing the best hitters in the No. 2 spot — to give them more opportunities than they’d be getting if they were batting further down in the lineup, so that teams could maximize their production.
And as it happens, the Wiz and the Tigers were first and third in team batting average with .294 and .293 through Tuesday. In the runs scored category, the Wiz were in first place with 125, with the Tigers having slipped from second to fifth in recent days with 107. They were second and third in OPS, with the Wiz checking in at .853 and the Tigers sitting at .840.
