Finally the reveal to Kisaki that Takemichi is a time leaper. He took it better than I expected. Seems like he had already started deducing something was off about Takemichi anyway which kind of makes sense given all the ways Takemichi foiled his plans

“Why are you obsessed with Hina” bro speaking for the entire audience because Kisaki doing all this for her is insane. We already knew he was in love with her during that school flashback last season I believe, but seeing her reject his lame ass was awesome. One word and just turns and leaves 😭 . For someone who literally built their entire life and persona around one goal, that was more than enough to send him over the edge

Can’t believe his whole motivation was based on overhearing a Takemichi convo about wanting to be a hoodlum though.. would’ve had a better chance just being himself 🤷🏾‍♂️. Another example of part of the plot you just have to turn your brain off and watch. The whole “number one hoodlum” thing is just laughable

Now that I think about it, coward has a double meaning with Kisaki. He’s not just a coward for his fighting style, but also how he didn’t just face Hina as he was. She obviously had a lot of respect for him, so just being himself would’ve given better odds

Overall definitely a solid finale. Got everything I came into the episode looking for. Kisaki got exactly what he deserved. Died how he lived, like a coward.

Best season of Tokyo Revengers for sure. Still incredibly silly and requires you suspending disbelief, but they cooked here. I’ll be there for the next season.

In Other News The "Nightcrawler's Getting Horns" Storyline Has Started And It's Worth Mentioning That Kurt Tried Getting Them Checked By Doctors. So He Went To Two Of Them And. And That's It. Like I Know Krakoa Doesn't Have Hospitals And All But To Go As Far As To Learn There's Only Two Doctors Available Around For A Member Of The Government? Wild. Especially Since One Of Them Is Mister Sinister. If You Get Any Weird Affliction On That Island It's A Dead End To Find Any Cure/Treatment I Swear

Yeah!!!! I just read this comic a day ago!!!! I was so hype because this is the first comic I got to read in time because of y'all's recommendation!! I saw it pop up on an online ship and I was like omg look at Kurt!!!! He looks so cool (I want to draw fan art soon😅😭), and the development of whatever the hell is happening to the mutant gene is cool too. And you guys know me so the only thing I did was skim the words and hella study the art 😭💙

But yes that part about Kurt going to scientists as the go to doctors is SO sad. 😭 get it the hell together Krakoa!!

Of course only Kurt + co have access to their resources because they all belong to the same elite group 🤷🏾‍♂️ so it does make me sad thinking about the normal mutants who may be hurt by similar things 😓. One of the scientists did say it's possible that this new genetic issue can reach more people on Krakoa, and I think it did with one of the X-Men 😬

"seriously wonder what the people who worked on this genuinely think, especially the ones who were there for the first movie." Chiwetel is such a kind soul, bless him, but when he was asked about Multiverse of Madness he looked like he wanted to say "mate, no clue, I'm barely in it 🤷🏾‍♂️" and I may be reading too much into it, but Liz Olsen looked almost upset when she was asked about Wanda's arc. Ben C also looked so tired and disappointed. The actors knew the script and plot were shit.

I watched a few of the interviews after seeing MoM and man...you can really see how tired the cast is when they're doing solo interviews. If they have someone else there to play off of they're more lively and jovial but when it's only one actor and the interviewer you can tell something is up.

Chiwetel was extremely gracious I think. He's just always so sweet and engaged with his interviews. It's that smile of his. It can light up a room. He can deliver the worst news with that smile and it'll zap the malice right out. Such is the power of the beautiful.

I definitely saw irritation in Lizzy Olsen's mannerisms when an interview pointed out how violent Wanda was and that she had a body count. The way she said "and I was supposed to kill more," just sounded really...mad and sad? It could just be me reading too much into it of course. But I honestly don't think it gave her much joy seeing Wanda become this insane where she's slaughtering people. She does defend it in interviews but I honestly think it's just part of the job since she's trying to promote this film and get people to see it. What's she gonna do? Outright say she hated it during a press junket? I'm not a fan of her at all but I felt very bad for the situation she's in. Cause no matter what people will aim their disgruntled rage on her rather than where it rightfully belongs....to the writer.

And as for Benedict C.....

Guys. I just want him to take a few days off and fucking sleep. He looked so drained in some interviews. And then there was one interview where he said that he hopes that they can delve more into Stephen as a character in the next sequel. That's when it was confirmed, in my mind anyways, that this movie really disappointed him deep down. This was his time to shine as Strange and though he did have some pretty spectacular parts the character arc was......where the fuck was it? I just felt so bad for him. And with all the reshoots I feel like they probably made him play a different version of Stephen each time he got the script. Like they didn't even know what to do with him is so fucking sad.

I feel like they should have just asked these actors what they thought their characters would do and build an arc around that. Like no one in that cast is stupid. They've all been with their characters for years in multiple projects so wouldn't they know themselves more than anyone else? And as good as the actors were there were times were I felt like the lines were spoken with stress and pressure? Like they were actively trying to push out those lines cause they didn't really want to?

Idk. Maybe I misinterpreted things. At the end of the day though I genuinely hope the cast gets a nice long break from this and that they don't get burned out. And I really hope they have a good support system around them.

The wonderful, amazing and gorgeous @ropeandcoffee tagged me for Five Things That Make Me Happy, so here are the first five random things of that nature which popped into my head, in no particular order:

1. My children. I don’t post much photos or personal information about my son and my daughter online because I believe they deserve to decide how and when that stuff goes online for themselves, but that said, there is no metric that could truly measure how much joy these two young lights bring into my life. They are everything to me. Happiness in the form of unique, beautiful pieces of me. 🙏🏾

2. The Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even before most of the MCU was conveniently available for me to view via Disney+, those movies (and TV shows) have been a constant source of smiles and good memories for the last decade and change. Black Panther alone has impacted my life in such a positive way… feel free to check out the post I wrote right after taking my Mom to see the movie for a small idea of just how much that franchise means to me and people who look like me in general. 🙅🏾‍♂️ Marvel has given us so many great films and shows over the years. Thank you Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios for this now vast and constant source of unbridled joy. 🙌🏾

3. Chocolate. If you know me, then you know I have a sweet tooth and chocolate is my main guilty pleasure. I can’t get my absolute favourite chocolate bar (3 Musketeers) here in my country for some reason… they just stopped selling it herr years ago with no real explanation. But I make a point of hoarding some every time someone close to me or myself travels to the States lol. In lieu of 3 Musketeers, my home almost always is stocked with Cadbury dairy milk bars, chocolate ice cream, Klondike and/or Magnum ice cream treats, and if i’m lucky chocolate cake. Yum! 🍫

4. Music. Even though I make music for a living (see my #SONGWRITING tag for more on that), I still genuinely love music as a fan. It’s my reason for being - of this i’m 100% sure. If you don’t love music or it doesn’t at least make you smile, then I don’t what else to tell you. 🤷🏾‍♂️💃🏾🕺🏾

5. Home. As an only child, and an infamous introvert, this pandemic situation has made me even more aware of how important and strong, safe and comfortable home is. I’m thankful to have that and I appreciate it more and more each day. I’m blessed to still live on the same property I was born into, the same place my parents brought me home to from the hospital after my birth. The same place I brought my son home to after his birth and my daughter years later as well. Many renovations and evolutions later, home is still the place I feel safest and most content. If home is where the heart is then this is definitely that. As Trinis say: “This is where mih navel string bury!” Literally… my umbilical cord is under the earth in the backyard of this place (and my kids’ too). Long may it stand! 🏡

- First of all tell us how you were "discovered" and how your modeling career started:.. Got discovered in Mr.Tanzania next handsome man with Martin Kadinda, since then i started working with him as a freelance model until i came to Capetown and join Boss models cp

- What has been your Favorite shoot/ campaign/ work to date?:... Woolworths and Guess, they’re big brands so they keep my profile on 🔥 

-  How would you describe your personal style, where do you get your inspiration from?:... Street fashion styles, looking up for Don Benjamin (America’s next top model winner) 

- Do you have any hidden talents?:... I’m a rapper lol 🤷🏾‍♂️

- Do you have to travel a lot for your work? If so what's your favorite city that you have visited?:... Uhm not yet for now coz i was  just in training here for how to work as international male model in SA but looking forward to it next year (traveling overseas) 

- sometimes the modeling industry gets a bad rap with the jealousy and egos encountered between other models and agencies. Was this  true for You? Have you managed to tough it out and make good friends?:.... Yea it happens sometimes but never happened to me coz i always keep it real to everyone 

- Do you ever get shy in front of the Camera?:... haha many times, haswaa nikiwa nimebook shoot moja na bebez nazozipigiaga misele lol (not gonna translate this hahaha)

- is modeling an easy job or more strenuous than people realize? (How so):... not true, i can say is among of the hell tough jobs in the world but people say it's easy coz they only see when pictures/videos are done but they have no idea how people worked for it 

- five things you can't live without:.. my phone, money, sex, exercise and family 

- give us 5 facts about you people may not know:... I used to be painfully shy, I’ve been rejected twice in Swahili fashion week, I can’t play football to save my life, easy to like someone and very slow to get sleepy, used to be a badass dancer lol 

- If you weren't modeling, what would you see yourself doing?:... Basketball player 

- Any plans for fashion week in  Tanzania?:... Not this year

I like how during judgement day Kurt was outraged when a council member voted yes for a villain's idea and had the galls of asking why they did it. Just. Remember how he gave a yes vote to Mystique of all people? And none of his supposed friends ever asked why he did it? Even tho his MAIN argument was to "please his mom"? The council member actually had a good argument compared to him (not that hard). You gotta wonder if Kurt has reached a new level of obliviousness not to see his own hypocrisy

Maybe this is the one moment the writers really needed to show a reaction to a vote.

Previously they didn't show us a confrontation about Kurt's vote for his mom because I'm assuming they wanted to be edgy and move the story forward without further context. I don't know too much about the judgement day event but Kurt's reaction may have been necessary so we could see how his next actions would be influenced by the council's decision. I read a little bit through Legion of X and even there he goes off on his own path despite the rules the council made for themselves.

But I think with both of our statements it just goes back to Kurt not really knowing what he wants. He'll fight and say one thing and do another the next minute 🤷🏾‍♂️
